  • The increase in frequency and scale of natural disasters is the typical negative examples of the global climate change and the change of the human living environment in cities. The damage caused by natural disasters in particular including human and physical damage is directly linked to the safety and properties of citizens. Besides, the damage may occur to SOC facilities directly or indirectly. The SOC facilities damaged by disasters cause infringement of citizens safety rights. Therefore, a plan to provide prompt and effective risk map information by linking a 3D disaster information display system, which handles the information of the damage that may occur to SOC facilities such as bridges, beams, and dams at the time of disasters, with an on-site assistance application is suggested in this study. The prompt provision of risk map information is defined as a dynamic expression technology in this study. Also, disaster information is processed and compressed with a module developed to be linked organically to a system that displays disaster information, a proliferation system that can use the information on site, and a DB system that constructs a relationship with the information. Based on the module, the effective disaster information compression plan will be prepared, and the prompt information transmission system will be secured in the future.

  • Since the reform and opening up in 1978, Chinese economy has been increasing rapidly with a high growth rate, but after 2012 the growth rate decreased as the reform of economic system. While economy in Africa began booming since 2000. Influenced by Global Financial Crisis and European Debt Crisis, economy in Africa slightly slowed down, but it was rebounding apparently from 2010. The urgent demand for energy and the sharp increasing in foreign exchange reserve pushes China to seek overseas markets. As Africa keeps a well relationship with China and the complementarity between China and Africa economy, Africa becomes one of the target markets for China's foreign development. Recently more and more enterprises begin to invest in Africa market. But till now the study on Africa mainly focuses on theoretical research based on real cases, and empirical research are very few and need to be increased. This thesis studies the influence of enterprise feature; local market feature and investment in foreign market on the result satisfaction of Chinese enterprises that invest in Africa markets. At the same time this thesis also studies and analyzes the market access strategy and marketing strategy for Chinese enterprises after entering overseas markets and put forward effective recommendation and suggestion for these enterprises. In order to proceed this study, 317 Chinese enterprises which invest in Africa have been investigated by me. And frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and simple regression analysis have also been conducted by SPSS18.0 APP to verify the hypothesis. • Although a simulation is proposed as a candidate for alternative contents of inquiry activities, design cases focused on the characteristic of science education are rare. This study suggested the definition and requirements of science simulation to clarify science subject-specific design and set up the design guidelines to consider usability. Then the science simulation was developed in the form of an app for mobile devices, where 'Flash and Actionscript 3.0' was selected as a development tool for compatibility, functionality, ease of use and optimization for mobile devices with educational applicability in mind. In effect, six science simulation apps were prepared for seven classes of inquiry activity in 10 science classes on the chapter of 'composition of material' in middle school science 2 textbooks. In this regard, the main advantages of the simulation apps expected from each design characteristic are also suggested in this article. In the implementation of the science simulation apps, educational effects were investigated based on the statistical comparison, while 134 students in the second grade in a coeducational middle school, Gyeonggi-do participated as an intervention group and a control group. Our results showed that the scores of academic achievement and affective test in the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group (p <.05). In the questionnaire survey on usability, most students responded positively to the design of the science simulation apps. This study will contribute to expanding the horizon of design about science simulation as a design case in science education.

  • Purpose - This study reviews the achievements of a pilot project for the revitalization of a commercial district performed for three years after its establishment in 2011. The project for the revitalization of the commercial district was performed to create a new local community space in connection with the traditional market and nearby districts. Although it was a pilot project, the project for the revitalization of the commercial district has been performed for almost three years. Therefore, this seems a proper time to conduct an interim evaluation of the project. This study aims to review and evaluate how the government support policy is influential for the revitalization of the commercial district. In other words, this research aims to identify what projects positively affected consumers' intention to revisit the downtown commercial area among the commercial district revitalization projects-promotion events, promotion activities, education, merchants cooperation system, IT projects, cultural events, and residents' communication. Research design, data, and methodology - This study designated seven management improvement projects affecting commercial district revitalization based on preceding studies. The survey of the degree of satisfaction on seven management improvement projects was executed targeting consumers who visited the commercial areas. Additionally, visitors' revisit intentions regarding currently visited commercial areas were also investigated. Therefore, revisit intention was set as a dependent variable and the satisfaction degrees of the respective management improvement projects were set as the independent variables. A total of 1,209 consumers were examined in six districts in the country. Result - Multiple regression analysis results showed that cultural events, education, the merchants' cooperation system, and IT projects brought statistically significant effects to the revisit intentions of consumers. In contrast, promotion events, resident communication projects, and promotion activities did not affect the revisit intentions of consumers. Particularly, the residents' communication project did not show significant influence because of consumers' recognition that it is similar to a cultural event. Conclusion - The following implications for the revitalization of business districts in the urban central area are drawn. From a general perspective, the businesses of culture, education, and cooperative system among seven businesses play positive roles regarding the intention to revisit so that the project is required to be promoted periodically through unique performances differentiated for each district, the merchant training reinforced for professionalism, and the expansion of joint events of merchants. Moreover, the sales promotion project and public relations activity are shown to be not influential to the intention to revisit. Therefore, while short-term sales promotion such as one-time gift events are required, sales promotion and public relation activities to induce revisits by mileage savings and accumulated gift presentation to attract long-term customers are required. The IT business is positively influential to the intention of revisit. Therefore, detailed information on the revitalized commercial district should be provided and additional functions such as discount coupons for continuous utilization should be included in the mobile app and the website.

  • A genuine product authentication framework and genuine distinction algorithm based on design QR code is proposed in this paper. The proposed framework consists of design QR code, a smart phone application for authentication, and a server system. Design QR code is a shape-modification of conventional QR code according to manufacturer's and/or product's need. In the design QR code, information about manufacturer and product is written. The written information can be read with general QR code reader, however, the content is transformed with authentication code, used in the first step authentication, and the meaning cannot be inferred. The application conducts the first step authentication and sends the resulting information to the server system for the second step authentication. The server system decides the genuinity using look-up history. The proposed framework can improve the authentication effect while minimizing the additional costs by managing the history through the server system. The proposed framework has proven to be effective in actual use, such as that used for the management of garbage bags in Ansan city.

  • Disposable, amperometric glucose sensor was constructed using platinised carbon paste electrode. The sensor response was studied by amperometry and cyclic voltammetry applying sample solutions on the strip-type electrode. Platinization of screen-printed carbon paste electrode effectively improved the electrochemical reversibility of a mediator and the analytical characteristics of the sensor. The heterogeneous rate constant for $[Fe(CN)_6]^{4-/3-}$ was $1.45\times10^{-2}cm{\cdot}s^{-1}$. An applied potential of 0.3V vs. Ag/AgCl resulted in the best selectivity for glucose. The apparent Michaelis-Menten constant for glucose on the strip sensor, $K_m^{app}$, was 24.5 mM. To evaluate the analytical performance of the glucose sensor strip, a correlation study was performed with the NOVA S.P, Ultra M analyzer for 30 serum samples containing $80\~297mg/dL$ of glucose: the correlation coefficient value was 0.983. It can be seen that the strip sensor has satisfactory precision and accuracy.

  • This study investigates the factors that stimulate or suppress the use of food delivery applications. As potential antecedent factors, the present research examined the review diagnosticity, descriptive norms, and multidimensional risk perception. Based on this, users' data were collected from major metropolitan cities where the food delivery application business is most active. The results of structural equation modeling confirmed that users' approach to food delivery apps becomes more favorable when the review diagnosticity and descriptive norms were improved and when the perceived multidimensional risk expected to be associated with app use is mitigated. Additionally, we found that the positive influence of these attitudes on the actual intention to accept delivery applications became weaker at higher levels of perceived risk. These empirical results may contribute to the formation of strategic and systematic guidelines for promoting the expansion of the recently emerging O2O service platform across diverse sectors. Namely, the significance of this study lies in that it has raised awareness regarding the strategic considerations that such new O2O service providers should take into account for their market positions, in addition to discovering factors that could aid the prompt expansion of the applications' user base.
