Generally, the copy protection mark and 2D bar-code techniques are widely used for forgery protection in printed public documents. But, it is hard to discriminate truth from the copy documents by using exisiting methods, because of that existing 2D-barcode is separated from the copy protection mark and it can be only recognized by specified optical barcord scanner. Therefor, in this paper, we proposed the forgery protection tehchnique for discriminating truth from the copy document by using watermark inserted 2D-barcord, which can be accurately distinguished not only by naked eye, but also by scanner. The copy protection mark consists of deformed patterns that are caused by the lowpass filter characteristic of digital I/O device. From these, we verified the performance of the proposed techniques by applying the histogram analysis based on the original, copy, and scanned copy image of the printed documents. Also, we suggested 2D-barcord confirmation system which can be accessed through the online server by using certification key data which is detected by web-camera, cell phone camera.
To protect the market for various products, existing authentication techniques using ID, hologram and RFID have been gradually developed. However, these methods can be easily exposed the authentication information, and also these exposed information easily copy. Thus, production of the counterfeit goods can not completely prevent. In this paper, to solve these problems, we designed JCVM file system for saving and managing the authentication information, user's information and a sales agency information into the smart card. And we designed and implemented an authentication protocol that can authenticate to avoiding exposure using processor of the smart card. Through this, this proposed scheme can prevent occurrences of the counterfeit goods. And also, can be used for authentication as any product that can attach the smart card.
Internet protocol (IP) spoofing is a serious problem on the Internet. It is an attractive technique for adversaries who wish to amplify their network attacks and retain anonymity. Many approaches have been proposed to prevent IP spoofing attacks; however, they do not address a significant deployment issue, i.e., filtering inefficiency caused by a lack of deployment incentives for adopters. To defeat attacks effectively, one mechanism must be widely deployed on the network; however, the majority of the anti-spoofing mechanisms are unsuitable to solve the deployment issue by themselves. Each mechanism can work separately; however, their defensive power is considerably weak when insufficiently deployed. If we coordinate partially deployed mechanisms such that they work together, they demonstrate considerably superior performance by creating a synergy effect that overcomes their limited deployment. Therefore, we propose a universal anti-spoofing (UAS) mechanism that incorporates existing mechanisms to thwart IP spoofing attacks. In the proposed mechanism, intermediate routers utilize any existing anti-spoofing mechanism that can ascertain if a packet is spoofed and records this decision in the packet header. The edge routers of a victim network can estimate the forgery of a packet based on this information sent by the upstream routers. The results of experiments conducted with real Internet topologies indicate that UAS reduces false alarms up to 84.5% compared to the case where each mechanism operates individually.
About 60 percent of cosmetic products sold in the dominant Taobao internet shopping mall proved recently to be counterfeit products made in China. This paper is to investigate the anti-counterfeiting strategies to clean up fake goods for Korean cosmetics which have been exported to China. Using the scienter rule the paper classified the forgery action for Korean cosmetics into four broad groups - counterfeit, piracy, illegally distributed product, and brand prior register. This paper suggested interior company's anti-counterfeiting strategies for each group, focusing on the construction for an integrated anti-counterfeiting system including consumer's rationality through the government cooperation between Korea and China.

Recently, the use of mobile devices has increased in order to provide a variety of services, and thus there has been a surge in the number of application malicious attacks on the Android platform. To resolve the problem, the domestic financial sector has been introducing the app anti-tamper solution based on cryptographic algorithms. However, since the capacity of apps installed in smartphones continues to increase and environments with limited resources as wearables and IoTs spread, there are limitations to the processing speed of the anti-tamper solutions. In this paper, we propose a novel anti-tamper solution by using lightweight hash function LEA and LSH. We also present the test results of a simulation program that implements this method and compare the performance with anti-tamper solutions based on the previous cryptographic algorithms.

Temporal analysis is very useful and important for digital forensics for reconstructing the timeline of digital events. Forgery of a file's timestamp can lead to inconsistencies in the overall temporal relationship, making it difficult to analyze the timeline in reconstructing actions or events and the results of the analysis might not be reliable. The purpose of the timestamp change is to hide the data in a steganographic way, and the other purpose is for anti-forensics. In both cases, the time stamp change tools are requested to use. In this paper, we propose a classification method based on the behavior of the timestamp change tools. The timestamp change tools are categorized three types according to patterns of the changed timestamps after using the tools. By analyzing the changed timestamps, it can be decided what kind of tool is used. And we show that the three types of the patterns are closely related to API functions which are used to develop the tools.

Public key infrastructure(PKI), principle technology of the certificate, is a security technology providing functions such as identification, non-repudiation, and anti-forgery of electronic documents on the Internet. Our government and financial organizations use PKI authentication using ActiveX to prevent security accident on the Internet service. However, like ActiveX, plug-in technology is vulnerable to security and inconvenience since it is only serviceable to certain browser. Therefore, the research on HTML5 authentication system has been conducted actively. Recently, domestic bank introduced PKI authentication complying with web standard for the first time. However, it still has inconvenience to register a certification on each website because of same origin policy of web storage. This paper proposes the certificate based SSO protocol that complying with web standard to provide user authentication using certificate on several sites by going around same origin policy and its security proof.

Underwater Wireless Communication System can be useful for research of quality of water, ocean resources exploration, analysis ocean environment and so on. However, there exist security threats including data loss, data forgery, and another variety of security threats, because of characteristics of water, various geographical factors, intended attack, etc. To solve these problem, in this paper, we propose a CCM-UW mode of operation modified form of CCM mode of operation, providing data confidentiality, integrity, origin authentication and anti-attack prevent, for the Underwater Wireless Communication System. By implementing CCM-UW in MACA protocol(Underwater Wireless Communication MAC Protocol) and measuring speed of communication, we confirm the applicability of the security and analyze the communication environment impact.

There has been significant research in security technology such as e-passport standards, as e-passports have been introduced internationally. E-passports combine the latest security technologies such as smart card, public key infrastructure, and biometric recognition, so that these technologies can prevent unauthorized copies and counterfeits. Biometric information stored in e-passports is the most sensitive personal information, and it is expected to bring the highest risk of damages in case of its forgery or duplication. The present e-passport standards cannot handle security features that verify whether its biometric information is copied or not. In this paper, we propose an e-passport security technology in which biometric watermarking is used to prevent the copy of biometric information in the e-passport. The proposed method, biometric watermarking, embeds the invisible date of acquisition into the original data during the e-passport issuing process so that the human visual system cannot perceive its invisibly watermarked information. Then the biometric sample, having its unauthorized copy, is retrieved at the moment of reading the e-passport from the issuing database. The previous e-passport security technology placed an emphasis on both access control readers and anti-cloning chip features, and it is expected that the proposed feature, copy protection of biometric information, will be demanded as the cases of biometric recognition to verify personal identity information has increased.
