엔진과 추진축의 비틀림 가진력에 관한 해석적 연구 (An Analytical Study on Torsional Excitation Force of an Engine and Propeller Shaft)

  • Torque fluctuation of an engine and angular velocity variation of a propeller shaft are the main excitation sources in a vehicle driveline. This paper presents the mechanism of these excitation sources. An equivalent model of the engine system and propeller shaft system is constructed to simulate the excitation phenomena. The analytical model contains the geometrical and dynamic mechanism. Combustion pressure of the cylinder is measured from dynamometer. The computer simulation is carried out by commercial program package. Results of the simulations show the characteristics of the torsional excitation source of the driveline.

  • This paper deals with the vector control that control of torque and speed of the induction motor using field-oriented control method. Rotor flux is estimated using the indirect sensing method based on the rotor circuit equation in the synchronously rotation reference frame, and slip angle and rotor position are caculated from rotor angular velocity and stator current. Through modeling and digital simulation with a voltage source inverter, it is shown that the proposed scheme gives good static and dynamic performance to the induction motor drive.

  • 본 논문은 힘 보조형 휠체어에 있어 힘 센서 없이 사용자의 구동 의지를 측정하는 방법과 이를 통한 차량제어 방법을 제시한다. 이를 위해 먼저 모터의 수학적 모델을 이용하여 사용자의 구동 의지력을 추정하는 알고리즘을 도출한다. 이후 도출된 외력을 기반으로 사용자가 원하는 차량 속도 및 방향을 추정한다. 이를 토대로 차량의 이동량을 결정하고 차량이 이에 따라 구동되도록 알고리즘을 구성하였으며 이를 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였다.

  • This paper proposes a simple adaptive sliding mode control algorithm for controlling a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) of a MW-class direct-driven wind turbine system. The proposed adaptive sliding mode controller does not require accurate knowledge of the PMSG parameter or turbine torque values. The proposed controller can accurately track the reference angular speed computed by the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) algorithm. Finally, this paper gives Matlab/Simulink simulation results to verify the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed adaptive sliding mode controller.

  • In this paper, we proposed that the problem of controlling induction motor with magnetic saturation, is studied from an input-output feedback linearization with adaptive algorithm. is considered. An adaptive input-output feedback linearizing controller is considered under the assumption of known motor parameters and unknown load torque. In order to achieve the speed regulation with the consideration of improving power efficiency, rotor angular speed and flux amplitude tracking objectives are formulated. Simulation results are provided for illustration.

  • In this paper we outline an approach for the collision-free trajectory planning of two robot arms which are modeled as connected line segments. A new approach to determine the collision between two robot arms and the boundary of the collision region in the coordination space is proposed. The coordination curve may then be chosen to avoid the collision region. For minimum time trajectory, time is assigned to this curve by dynamic time scaling under constraints such as maximum torque or maximum angular velocity of each actuator. A comparison of the proposed method and the graphical method of determining the collision region is also included. Finally, as an example, some simulation results for two SCARA type robots are presented.

  • The paper is described about the characteristics analysis of Axial Fluk Reluctance Motor(AFRM) with nonlinear analytical modeling. The parameter of the modeling is computed by the finite element method as functions of input current and angular displacement. To investigate the dynamic characteristics of AFRM, the current, torque, back EMF and output power wave is simulated from the motion equation by MATLAB/Simulink.

  • This paper proposed the ways for reduction of the prominent peak of the tone noise in air conditioning units. In order to find out the sources of the tone noise, the resonant frequencies and modes of the fans were investigated. Also, the effects of the ambient temperatures and material properties of the fans on the tone noise were studied. From the experiments, it was shown that the tone noise was greatly influenced by the torsional resonance of the fan and motor system and commutation frequency. In other words, the torsional resonance of the fan and motor system has not to be close to the commutation frequency (torque ripple frequency) which creates a rate of change in the angular acceleration in order to reduce the tone noise in air conditioning units.

PRIMORDIAL BLACKHOLE AS A SEED FOR THE COSMIC MAGNETIC FIELD

  • We present a model that rotating primordial blackholes(PBHs) produced at the end of inflation generate the random, non-oriented primordial magnetic field. PBHs are copiously produced as the Universe completes the cosmic phase transition via bubble nucleation and tunneling processes in the extended inflation hypothesis. The PBHs produced acquire angular momentum through the mutual tidal gravitational interaction. For PBHs of mass less than 1013g, one can show that the evaporation (photon) luminosity of PBHs exceeds the Eddington limit. Thus throughout the lifetime of the rotating PBH, radiation flow from the central blackhole along the Kerr-geodesic exerts torque to ambient plasma. In the process similar to the Bierman's battery mechanism electron current reaching up to the horizon scale is induced. For PBHs of Grand Unified Theories extended inflation with the symmetry breaking temperature of $T_{GUT}\;\~\;10^{10}$ GeV, which evaporate near decoupling, we find that they generate random, non-oriented magnetic fields of $\~10^{-11}G$ on the last-scattering surface on (the present comoving) scales of $\~O(10)Mpc$.

Multimachine Stabilizer using Sliding Mode Observer-Model Following including CLF for Measurable State Variables

  • In this paper, the power system stabilizer(PSS) using the sliding mode observer-model following(SMO-MF) with closed-loop feedback (CLF) for single machine system is extended to multimachine system. This a multimachine SMO-MF PSS for unmeasureable plant state variable is obtained by combining the sliding mode-model following(SM-MF) including closed-loop feedback(CLF) with the full-order observer(FOO). And the estimated control input for unmeasurable plant sate variables is derived by Lyapunov's second method to determine a control input that keeps the system stable. Time domain simulation results for the torque angle and for the angular velocity show that the proposed multimachine SMO-MF PSS including CLF for unmeasurable plant sate variables is able to damp out the low frequency oscillation and to achieve asymptotic tracking error between the reference model state at different initial conditions and at step input.
