  • 본 논문에서는 데이터베이스 관리자를 대상으로 한 안드로이드용 SQL*Plus 원격접속 애플리케이션을 개발하였다. 기존의 PC를 이용해 DB에 접근할 수밖에 없었던 시간적, 공간적 제약을 극복하는데 목적이 있으며 직관적인 UI와 여러 기능을 통해 사용자에게 편의를 제공하고자 한다.

  • In recent years, there have been many cases of damage to indoor air hazardous materials, and major damage due to the lack of quick action. In this regard, the system is intended to establish for sending push messages to the user's mobile when the concentration of hazardous substances is exceeded. This system extracts data with IoT system such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi and then constructs database through MongoDB and MySQL in cloud computing system. The database is imported through the application server using NodeJS and sent to the application for visualization. Also, when receiving signals about a dangerous situation in IoT system, push message is sent using Google FCM library. Mobile application is developed using Android Web view, and page to enter Web view is developed using HTML5 (HTML, Javascript CSS). The application of this system enables real-time monitoring of indoor air-dangerous substances. In addition, real-time information on indoor/outdoor detection location and concentration can be sent to the user's mobile in case of a risk situation, which can be expected to help the user respond quickly.

  • In case of massive water leakage, it's crucial for field manager to quickly positioning the problematic valve and related ones. However, it's not easy for the system to find the corresponding valve and even if it's found, it can not respond quickly because it can't know the relevant information immediately. In this paper, we implement the system for identifying sluice valve positions using GPS and AR techniques. The proposed system is composed of hand held android device, remote database server and data acquisition device for DB creation. We utilize the android device's sensors including GPS, gyro, accelerometer, magnetic sensor. The system identifies the valve with matching between the position data from the remote database server, and current GPS locations of device. We use AR techniques to overlay the graphics pattern of valve positions and some additional informations on captured real scene. With this system, it will be fast and accurate for maintenance of sluice valve of municipal water system.

  • These days, computer system has been introduced for work in most areas, including manufacturing, medical service, education, logistics, and other services. To increase work efficiency, mobile system has been more applied. However, on the basis of Android applications, it is hard for laypersons who have no enough knowledge of Android, or computer team members in general firms to develop mobile App. As a result, work efficiency comes to low. Therefore, this study designed and developed the mobile application for anthropometry data input of medical checkup with the use of App Inventor. As shown in the designed and developed mobile application, it is expected to develop a work process mobile App, it is expected to develop a work process mobile App easily and quickly with the use of App Inventor and to increase work efficiency even though there is not much knowledge of mobile application development.

  • In this paper, we have proposed and implemented a smart sensor network system based on the Arduino open source hardware. The proposed smart sensor network system is composed of kinds of sensors and open-source hardware based, Arduino, etc. that can handle the measured sensor values. Also the communication modules that can be used to transmit the measured sensor values from the sensor control unit are configured. In the control unit the sensor data such as temperature, humidity, light intensity can be transmit to the main program and the main program will save the data in the DB or transmitting the value of the particular control signal to the control device or the actuator. The user can also check the information in the system using the measured values from the smart sensor networks through the web, or to remotely control a variety of actuators. And it is possible to manage a smart autonomous control over whether and how the proposed system.

  • Smart Phone market consists of several platforms such as Windows Phone, Apple iOS and Android of Google. Each platform uses different coding style respectively. Platform-dependent application results in high cost and low code reusability during development of application. It also provides heterogeneous display forms to users. In this paper, we propose a platform-independent generic interface model that could be operated in both the various smart phones and PC. Because the proposed model provides the same UI on multiple platforms, users can operate applications without awkwardness. The model includes a module which copes with the changes of the resolutions in various platforms and a module which switches scenes of each application for performance improvement. Moreover, a module which connects DB is also proposed in order to overcome the difference of way to store data in each platform. The implementation results show that the difference of display and operating manner in any hetero-platform is eliminated.

  • In this paper, we propose an architecture that affords mobile app based on nomadic smartphone using not only mobile cloud computing- architecture but also a dedicated web platform called Node.js built-in with the asynchronous, Nonblocking, Event-Driven programming paradigm. Furthermore, the design of the proposed architecture takes document oriented database known as MongoDB to deal with the large amount of data transmit by users of mobile web access application. The Node.js aims to give the programmers the tools needed to solves the large number of concurrent connections problem. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture by implementing an android application responsible of real time analysis by using a vehicle to applications smart phones interface approach that considers the smartphones to acts as a remote users which passes driver inputs and delivers output from external applications.

Andro-profiler: Anti-malware system based on behavior profiling of mobile malware (행위기반의 프로파일링 기법을 활용한 모바일 악성코드 분류 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a novel anti-malware system based on behavior profiling, called Andro-profiler. Andro-profiler consists of mobile devices and a remote server, and is implemented in Droidbox. Our aim is to detect and classify malware using an automatic classifier based on behavior profiling. First, we propose the representative behavior profiling for each malware family represented by system calls coupled with Droidbox system logs. This is done by executing the malicious application on an emulator and extracting integrated system logs. By comparing the behavior profiling of malicious applications with representative behavior profiling for each malware family, we can detect and classify them into malware families. Andro-profiler shows over 99% of classification accuracy in classifying malware families.

A Study on Smishing Block of Android Platform Environment (안드로이드 플랫폼 환경에서의 스미싱 차단에 관한 연구)

  • As financial transactions with a smartphone has become increasing, a myriad of security threats have emerged against smartphones. Among the many types of security threats, Smishing has evolved to be more sophisticated and diverse in design. Therefore, financial institutions have recommended that users doesn't install applications with setting of "Unknown sources" in the system settings menu and install application which detects Smishing. Unfortunately, these kind of methods come with their own limitations and they have not been very effective in handling Smishing. In this paper, we propose a systematic method to detect Smishing, in which the RIL(Radio Interface Layer) collects a text message received and then, checks if message databases stores text message in order to determine whether Smishing malware has been installed on the system. If found, a system call (also known as a hook) is used to block the outgoing text message generated by the malware. This scheme was found to be effective in preventing Smishing as found in our implementation.

Implementation of Android application to judge the daily route deviation via the GPS information on smart phones (스마트폰의 GPS 정보를 이용한 일상 경로 이탈 판단 어플리케이션 구현)

  • As smart phone is daily used by most people, various location-based applications have been developed. Moreover, it is increased the requirements of location-based services that utilize Google maps, GPS sensing information and etc.. In this paper, we develop a smart phone application providing notification services by detecting the daily route deviation. We develop the server system which receives GPS information gathering from user's smart phone and analyse the user's regular routes. With the results from the analyzation the GPS coordinates, the application on a smart phone detects the case of a breakaway from regular routes. And then it can inform automatically and immediately the designed person such as guardians of children or the old and the infirm of the route deviation so will be helpful to protect such person. This is one example of the effectiveness of the application. Moreover, the application is developed on the client-server framework, thus it is very useful to judge the user's daily route deviation in realtime by using the accumulated information on the corresponding DB. Finally we evaluated the proposed methods which had been implemented on smart phones and show the utilities of the application.
