Even though we usually analyze logistic market based on confined railway logistics, but this study would like to judge what is potential demand transferable to railway goods through accurate analysis of railway sharing rates by the analysis of origin and destination of each item in total freight transportation market. Accordingly, by analyzing each items transferable to railway, excluding items stuck to original market, this study wants to choose some major items which are expected to lasting demand and activate railway logistics plan by focusing on major items for marketing strategy.

Simulation modeling has become an extremely important approach to analyzing complex system. In recent years the number of people using simulation as problem-solving aid has increased. In this Paper, we developed a simulation model for analyzing the physical distribution system in ports. We used Arena 2.2 which is a kind of simulation software based common simulation language, SIMAN V. And then, we applied this model to kwangyang port(partially) and analyzed the effect of it upon port system in according to change of the quantity of goods transported.

Air voids existed in hardened concrete have an important influence on concrete deterioration such as carbonation, freezing and thawing, and corrosion of embedded steel in concrete. Therefore it is very significant to investigate the pore structure of system(size, number and continuity of air voids) to solve the reason caused concrete deterioration. The purpose of this study is to develop the standard method of measuring air voids which affect properties in hardened concrete using image analyzing system. This paper presents the settlement of rapid and exact experimental method which extracts fine bubbles, calculates the number of air voids, and determines air-void distribution using image analyzing system with computer.

In this paper we propose a mixed-effects least squares support vector regression (LS-SVR) for longitudinal data. We add a random-effect term in the optimization function of LS-SVR to take random effects into LS-SVR for analyzing longitudinal data. We also present the model selection method that employs generalized cross validation function for choosing the hyper-parameters which affect the performance of the mixed-effects LS-SVR. A simulated example is provided to indicate the usefulness of mixed-effect method for analyzing longitudinal data.

In this paper, we propose matrix analysis methods for analyzing national R&D information creation. In order to analyze R&D information creation at national level, it is necessary to analyze whether information is created systematically for each technical category and for each information type. In this paper, ‘uniformity’and ‘concentration’criterions are proposed to check national R&D information creation and we provide formulas to measure the criterions. The criterions are applied to domestic information creation in information and communication domain to show the utilization of the proposed method.

Psychophysical data, in general, belong to one of the four scale categories : Nominal, Ordinal, Interval, and Ratio Scale. This paper introduces properties of the four scale categories and describes some psychophysical scales that attempt to measure subjective feeling or opinion of human. In addition, guidelines of analyzing and interpreting measured data are suggested. Some examples of analyzing and interpreting paychophysical data inappropriately are presented especially with category scales which have been used most widely in measuring subjective information.

In this paper, an effective method in analyzing a class of bilinear systems via Taylor polynomials is proposed. The result derived by Yang and Chen shows an implicit form for unknown state vector and requires to solve a linear algebraic equation with large dimension when the number of terms used increase. In comparison to the result of Yang and Chen, the method in this paper gives a closed form for unknown state vector and does not need to solve any linear algebraic equation.

This paper deals with an analyzing method of the Korean syntax to implement a natural language understanding system. A matrix of the syntactic structure is derived by the structural features of the Korean language. The modificatoty and conceptual structures are extracted from the matrix and the predicate logic form is expressed by extracting the phrase, clause and conceptual structure in the analyzing process. This logic form constructs an knowledge base of the sentence and proposes the possibility of the inference.

This paper presents a methodology for analyzing individual differences on Kansei evaluation for a set of product samples. This analysis divides subjects into several groups by each subject's Kansei evaluation data according to what kinds of Kansei are related on what kinds of design elements. The basic idea is to classify the results of cluster analysis in individual subject's ranges. A similarity matrix of subject is computed by comparing dendrogram of each subjects. The methodology is applied to analyzing evaluation data of cellular phone design.

In this paper, in order to analyzing the thrust force of LDM, it was divided by the vertical force(Fx)and the horizontal force(Fy). The magnet and winding width was determined by analyzing the magnetic flux distribution throughout the airgap of LDM. Using finite-element analysis(FEA), which is the magnetic field analysis, and Proved the validity of design process, also the characteristics of LDM according to the variation of the design parameters of LDM was almost in accord with th experiment results.
