다층 제진판의 제진성 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Damping of Multilayer Damping Sheet)

  • The vibration damping of various multilayer damping sheet with different constraining layer and viscoelastic layer were investigated by Rheovibron and vibration test. Damping increased as dynamic loss tangent increased. Constrained type damping sheet showed better damping than extensional type damping sheet. Aluminum foil attached asphalt impregnated paper pad showed best damping.

디지털 이미지 상관관계를 이용한 알루미늄 합금 판재의 성형한계도 평가 (Experimental Study on the Forming Limit Curve of Aluminum Alloy Sheets using Digital Image Correlation)

  • Sheet metal formability can be defined as the ability of metal to deform without necking or fracture into desired shape. Every sheet metal can be deformed without failure only up to a certain limit, which is normally known as forming limit curve(FLC). In this paper, the dome stretching tests and tensile tests have been performed to obtain forming limit curve of aluminum alloy. During the experiment, failure strain is measured using digital image correlation(DIC) method. DIC method is a whole-field measurement technique that acquires surface displacements and strains from images information which characterized a random speckle as intensity grey levels. Recently years, this DIC method is being developed and used increasingly in various research. DIC results demonstrated the usefulness and ability to determine a strain.

  • This research team has developed single silk white bubble sheets to be used as surface sheath curing material for spring, summer, and autumn. But though its effects for spring and autumn temperature conditions have been proved, there haven't been any studies for summer temperature conditions. Therefore in this study, single silk white bubble sheets and single silk transparent bubble sheets as well as aluminum metalizing single silk bubble sheets have been applied to actual box-frame apartment slabs in construction, in order to compare temperature backgrounds of the concrete and other qualities. Upon application, the temperature of concrete cured in summer temperature conditions showed excellent scores, being the lowest for aluminum metalizing single silk white bubble sheets, then single silk transparent bubble sheets. But the aluminum metalizing single silk bubble sheet gave off a harmful glare, so for actual use, white single silk bubble sheets are recommended.

  • Engineers in the construction field have been using bonded waterproofing sheets in an attempt to resolve the imbalance in the quality, the risk of fire, safety of workers, and environmental pollution, as well as to eliminate separate use of organic adhesives on the surface of concrete. Recently, self-laminated waterproofing sheets have been developed. The purpose of this research is to find an appropriate processing speed according to the changes in physical properties, and visual observation of the waterproofing sheets laminated by the aluminum thin-film and viscosity layer that can be attached through self-adhesiveness on the surface of concrete and waterproofing sheets. Therefore, this research is conducted using a physical performance test. Based on the result of the test, when the high-frequency inductive heating apparatus was used, an improved adhesion and bonding stability effect were confirmed after the anti-hydrostatic pressure and bond strength in the temperature condition, and the surface observation in the processing speed condition.

  • ECT(eddy currentign testing) is very effective technique to detect a flaw within a conductor. Co-based amorphous wire was used as a sensor head. The wire has almost 0 magneto-striction and high permeability. An uniform magnetic field was applied to 1mm thick copper plate and $25{\mu}m$ thick aluminum sheet conductor using spiral typed coil The size of the coil has $40mm{\times}40mm$ outer width and $8mm{\times}8mm$ inner width. The copper plate and aluminum sheet has 0.5mm and 0.1mm wide gap, respectively. The frequency range of applied field was 100kHz-600kHz. The induced voltage difference of 2.5mV was obtained in the maximum voltage and minimum one measured across the gap of the 1mm thick conductor. In the case of aluminum sheet, 0.4mV was obtained. From this results, the effectiveness of Co-based amorphous wire was confirmed in the ECT technique.

다양한 두께의 알루미늄 판을 이용한 MTF 측정에 관한 연구 (Modulation Transfer Function with Aluminum Sheets of Varying Thickness)

  • 본 연구에서는 방사선치료기용 CBCT의 영상과 같이 해상도가 낮은 경우에 적용할 수 있는 MTF (modulation transfer function) 평가 방법을 고안하였다. 본 연구에서는 두꺼운 알루미늄 판의 영상을 이용하여 중복 표본(oversampling) 방법과 두께 보정 방법을 적용하여 MTF를 결정하였다. 다양한 알루미늄 판의 두께(0.3~1.2 mm)에 대해 MTF를 분석하였으며 경사 영상과 평행 영상의 경우에 대해서도 비교하였다. 연구 결과 치료계획용 CT인 경우에 알루미늄의 두께가 0.8 mm 이하 일 경우 MTF 측정이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 두꺼운 알루미늄 판과 두께 보정을 이용한 MTF 측정이 CT 영상에서 가능하였다.

  • In order to investigate the influence of anisotropy on formability and also to obtain guidelines for the stamping process design in friction stir welded TWB (tailor welded blank), the aluminum ally 6111-T4 sheet was welded with three different types of combination: RD||RD, TD||RD and TD||TD (Here, RD and TD mean the rolling direction and transverse direction, respectively) and then hemisphere dome stretching and cylindrical cup drawing tests were carried out. In addition, the numerical analysis was performed to confirm the validity of experimental results. For the numerical analysis, the non-quadratic orthotropic yield function, Yld2004-18p was utilized to represent precise anisotropic properties.

  • The effects of the initial torture of workpiece as well as the process conditions such as punch speed and lubrication on the formablity of sheet stretching are investigated by experiments. Two types of the initial textures of aluminum sheet plane strain compression torture and recrystallization texture are chosen since those are the most common in practice. Punch loads vs depth and thickness strain distributions along radial directions having the slope of $0^{\circ},\;45^{\circ},\;90^{\circ}$ with rolling directions are reported for hemishperical punch stretchings under a variety of process conditions.

  • The deformation behavior of stainless steel-clad aluminum sheet metals under uniaxial tension has been investigated. The differences in mechanical properties such as elastic modulus, flow stress and plastic strain ratio, of component layers of the composite sheet gave rise to warping of the tensile specimens. The warping has been analyzed by FEM and the total force and momentum equilibria. The analyzed radii of curvature of the warped specimens were smaller than the measured data possibly due to elastic recovery during unloading. The differences in mechanical properties may also give rise to transverse stresses in the component layers. The transverse stresses have been analyzed on the assumption of isostrain and by the FEM in which the warping has been taken into account. The transverse stresses calculated by the FEM were lower than those by the isostrain hypothesis due to stress relaxation by the warping and turned out to be negligible compared with the longitudinal stresses. Consequently, the flow stresses of the composite sheets follow the rule of mixtures.

  • New type of vehicles made from thin aluminum alloy are under rapid development and some product are already on the market, but when welding sheet metal joint of aluminum alloy, the main problem are burn-through by the high heat input. The purpose of this study, it is to prevent the burn-through and to shallow penetration that AC pulse welding has diminish the penetration and to lower the droplet temperature at Al sheet metal welding. In this study, we observed the bead appearance and whether it was appeared burn through or not , as the variation of the root gap in the lap and butt-joint welding process.
