지능형 완충기의 특성 해석 (Performance Analysis of Smart Impact Damper)

  • Electrorheological(ER) and magnetorheological(MR) fluids have a unique ability to increase the dynamic yield stress of the fluid substantially when electric or magnetic field is applied. Controllable fluids such as ER and MR fluids have received considerable attention as several components of engineering devices. One of them is a smart impact damper using ER/MR fluids. Impact damper system can be used in the joint mechanism of railroad vehicle, protection equipment of elevator's drop, and launch equipment of aircraft. This paper presents the results of an analytical study of the performance of a smart impact damper to suppress vibration during impact excitation. The damping capabilities of MR impact damper for variable applied current are analyzed using Bingham model under sudden impact load.

  • 나로우주센터에서는 우주발사체 및 경비행기의 사거리(slant range)를 측정하기 위해서 전자광학추적 장비에 MFCW (Multi Frequency Continuous Wave) 거리측정 도플러 레이다를 탑재하여 운용하였다. 본 논문에서는 레이저광파 거리측정장비에서 정확히 측정된 사거리 측정값과 도플러 레이다의 트랜스폰더를 사용하여 측정된 사거리 측정값 차이를 비교분석하고 사거리 정확도를 기술하였다.

Al-Li 합금 윙립의 고속가공 변형특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on High Speed Machining Distortion Characteristics of Aluminum Lithium Alloys Wing Rib)

  • Aluminum lithium alloys are new materials developed for lightweight aircraft parts. However, as compared with conventional aluminum alloys in high-speed machining, problems such as tool wear, machining distortion, and cutting ability arise. This study presents the machining distortion characteristics of an Al-Li alloy wing tip in relation to the cutting heat in high-speed machining. A machining experiment was conducted with high-speed machining equipment for an evaluation of the machining distortion characteristics, with each machining stage temperature change of the workpiece machining surface, and the inside and outside temperature changes of the equipment measured. By measuring the amount of distortion of the workpiece before and after machining, the cutting heat was analyzed with regard to its effect on machining distortion in the product.

  • The trolley carrying the pod moves along by the airfield runway. The pod through the trolley are subjected to vibration arising from the ground state, the precision optical components in the pod can have a significant impact. The road tests were conducted by using the measurement pod to remove the risk for the project. The measurement pod was composed with the ACRA, sensors, battery. The accelerometers were attached to get the acceleration through the road condition. The PSD envelop was calculated by FFT from the acceleration. The driving safety was proven through comparing the measurement data and MIL-STD-810G specification.

  • Metal parts are produced by conventional methods such as casting, forging and cutting, extrusion, etc. However, nowadays, with additive manufacturing (AM), it is possible to directly commercialize by means of stacking of equipment to the 3D drawing and use of high precision tools such as laser source. Thus, drawing of materials is an important aspect in delivering good products. AM deals with production of lighter aircraft parts and few more three-dimensional molds, it wish to manufacture special medical parts and want to steadily expand the new market area. The cost of related equipment and materials are still expensive and difficult to obtain on a mass production. However, the ability to make changes and lead the innovation in the paradigm of traditional manufacturing process is still effective. In this paper, we introduce metal AM and the principles of the related devices, metal powder production process, and their application.

  • 탑재 장비의 위치 결정 문제는 감항, 성능, 정비성, 환경요구사항 등의 다양한 기준을 고려해야 하는 복잡한 문제이다. 항공기의 기능이 복잡해짐에 따라 필요한 장비가 증가하고 있으며, 무인항공기는 조종사를 대신할 장비의 탑재로 더 많은 장비가 장착된다. 문제의 복잡성, 대상 장비의 수량 증가, 제한된 개발 기간 등으로 인하여 장비의 배치 결정은 설계자의 직관과 경험에 의존하는 부분이 크다. 최적화를 위해서는 정량적인 기준으로 평가가 필요하나 안전, 성능, 정비성 등의 기준은 정량적인 비교가 어렵거나 대상이 제한적인 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 장비의 장착과 정비를 고려하고 배치 모델을 순회판매원 문제로 단순화하고, 장비 간 연결 케이블의 중량이 최소가 되도록 유전알고리즘을 이용하여 최적화를 수행하였다. 최적화 결과를 전역 계산 결과와 비교하였을 때 더 적은 소요 시간으로 동일한 결과를 얻을 수 있었으며, Heuristic과 비교하여 개선됨을 확인하였다.

임무 환경에 따른 무인항공기 가시선 분석 (An analysis of UAV line-of-sight according to mission environment)

  • 본 논문은 무인항공기의 운용 고도 및 거리를 데이터링크 측면에서 분석하였다. 무인항공기의 운용 고도는 일반적으로 탑재되는 임무장비의 특성 및 운용 목적에 따라 결정된다. 무인항공기의 운용 고도를 결정하기 전에 데이터링크 장비의 가시선 조건을 반드시 고려해야 한다. 가시선 분석은 지상통신장비의 안테나 특성 및 설치고도, 지구의 곡률 반경을 사용하여 분석했다. 지상통신장비 설치고도가 0m 일 때, 32dBi 파라볼라 안테나를 사용할 경우 통신거리 300km에서 15,779m이고, 44dBi 파라볼라 안테나를 사용할 경우 7,927m에서 운용 가능하다. 또한 원거리 통신에서는 고 이득안테나가 운용 고도 측면에서 유리함을 확인하였다.

  • 임베디드 시스템의 일종인 항공전자 장비는 높은 안전성과 신뢰도를 요구한다. 항공전자 장비 고장은 항공기 운용에 중대한 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 최악의 경우에는 조종사와 승객의 인명 손실을 초래할 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 항공전자 장비의 신뢰도를 높이기 위해 장비에 발생 가능한 고장을 사전에 감지할 수 있는 Built-In-Test(이하: BIT) 설계 기법과 장비의 Mean Time Between Failure(이하: MTBF)를 향상시킬 수 있는 설계 방법을 연구하고 실제 항공전자 장비에 적용하여 신뢰도를 향상시킨 사례를 소개한다.

  • Railway vehicle is very important to implement the effective maintenance in proper to prevent any failure during operation period. Many railway authorities are making efforts to maintain the railway vehicle through scientific and systematic procedure. To achieve this, Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM) is partially applied. The efficiency of RCM has proven and its terminology was familiar with nuclear power, military and chemical plant etc. since the commercial aircraft's industries has introduced the maintenance program based on the target of reliability. The application of RCM on railway vehicle can be utilized with systematic analysis method to select the best effective maintenance period and action to prevent the failures by selecting the equipment affecting the its safety and reliability. This paper is presented that the procedure of adequate and effective maintenance for railway vehicle by comparing among the related standards in example IEC60300-3,11, MIL-STD-2173, and technical documents or papers. In accordance with above result, RCM procedure is proposed to apply effectively for maintenance of railway vehicle. That is, (1) Analysis of data and Calculation of criticality per equipment (2) Selection of equipment to analyze (3) Analysis of failure mode and effect (4) Evaluation of maintenance method and period (5) Optimization of maintenance program through renewal of maintenance method and period.

탑재비행시험용 무선 점검장치 개발에 대한 연구 (A Study on Development of Wireless Check-up Device for Captive Flight Test)

  • In this paper, a study on a wireless check-up method of test equipment for captive flight test(CFT) was conducted. For CFT, test equipment is mounted on a POD, and check-up is carried on the test equipment's. For check-up the POD wirelessly, battery, power distribution unit, wireless communication devices were designed within the POD, and a check-up device is designed outside of the POD. Once the external check-up device sends a 'start signal' to the POD, it performs the overall check-up procedures and transmits the 'end signal' to the external check-up device. Detailed check-up results are stored in an internal storage device, and are possible to read from external check-up device if necessary, thereby improving the reliability of the wireless check-up. By implementing and applying these wireless check-up system, the reliability of the check-up was enhanced by dynamical and movable check-up, and safety is guaranteed as the check-up was carried without access to the aircraft.
