일차 다개체 시스템의 그룹 평균 상태일치와 그룹 대형 상태일치 (Group Average-consensus and Group Formation-consensus for First-order Multi-agent Systems)

  • This paper investigates the group average-consensus and group formation-consensus problems for first-order multi-agent systems. The control protocol for group consensus is designed by considering the positive adjacency elements. Since each intra-group Laplacian matrix cannot be satisfied with the in-degree balance because of the positive adjacency elements between groups, we decompose the Laplacian matrix into an intra-group Laplacian matrix and an inter-group Laplacian matrix. Moreover, average matrices are used in the control protocol to analyze the stability of multi-agent systems with a fixed and undirected communication topology. Using the graph theory and the Lyapunov functional, stability analysis is performed for group average-consensus and group formation-consensus, respectively. Finally, some simulation results are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed control protocol for group consensus.

A Computational Model to Detect Affective Response Based on Narrative Agent's Knowledge

  • Narratives arouse diverse and rich affective responses to recipients, and this is one of the reasons why narratives are universal and popular. Computational studies on narratives have established a formal model or system of the affective response based on the theory in psychology or media research, and have analyzed or generated a narrative that can evoke a specific affective response. In this paper, we propose a new computational model that can detect the affective response expected to appear in the narrative based on the narrative agent's knowledge. First, we designed a narrative representation model that can elaborately express the event structure and the agent's knowledge as well. Additionally, an analysis method was proposed to detect the three affective responses and the related situational information. Then, we validated the model through a case study about an actual movie narrative. Through the case study, we confirmed that the model captures the affective responses of the audience. The proposed model can be effectively used for the narrative analysis and the creation that must consider the affective responses of the recipient.

의복의 보호론에 관한 이론적 고찰 (Comparative Study on the Protective Functions of Clothes)

  • This research is designed to systemize the protection theory as well as to supplement the missing theory by organizing various studies on the protective functions of celothes by domestic and foreign scholers of clothing. Human environments is classified two standpoints : (1) Physical environments, and (2) man built psychological environments including socio-physical environments, socio-biological environments, behavioral environments, socio-psychological environments and institution environments. Clothes acting as a physical protection might be of (1) extreme air temperature: Parka; (2) high relative humidity: raincoat; (3) air movement: windbreaker; (4) radiation: space suit; (5) atmospheric pressure: deep sea diver suit; (6) mechanical agent: bullet proof vest; (7) physical agent: (8) chemical agent: (9) biological agent: surgeon's gown, cap, and mask. Also dresses act to support the body comfort, health and the well-being; corset for bad back patient, wrist band for people with weak wrist, bottom half of pressure suit for people with low blood pressure. Clothes acting as a psychological protection might be of (1) influence of magic and of spirits: (2) moral danger; (3) the general unfriendliness of the world as a whole; a reassurance against the lack of love. Clothes should provide the maximum of satisfaction in accordance with the full recognition of reality. The reality should aim at the formulation of general laws concerning the most pleasing forms, colors, and styles to suit. The complex physiological anatomical and psychological aspects of individual personalities.

언표내적 효과 기반의 FIPA-ACL 의미론 연구 (Study on the Illocutionary Effect-Based FIPA-ACL Semantics)

  • 다중에이전트 시스템에서 매우 중요한 연구 분야 중 하나는 에이전트소통언어(ACL)의 정의와 ACL의 적당한 공식적 의미론의 제시이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 두 개의 의미론적 접근방식을 뛰어넘는 언표내적 효과 기반의 FIPA-ACL의 의미론을 제안한다. 제안한 의미론의 주요 개념은 언화행위이론의 언표내적 행위의 성공과 만족조건에 대한 의미론적 개념과 공통근거 기반의 프레임워크에 기초하고 있다. 제안한 의미론을 사용하여 사례연구로 inform과 request와 같은 FIPA-ACL의 대표적인 언화행위를 정의한다. 제안된 의미론의 강점을 보이기 위하여 자동차 판매자와 잠재 고객 간의 전자상거래 에이전트 구매협상을 응용 예로 제시한다. 그리고 기존의 의미론적 방식들과의 비교를 보인다.

  • 디지털 자원에 대한 유통환경의 급속한 변화에 따라 디지털자원에 대한 지적재산권 보호 문제가 중요하게 대두되고 있다. 디지털자원의 접근과 이용에 대한 신뢰있는 환경을 만들기 위한 통합적인 접근방법으로 디지털저작권관리(DRM)기술에 대한 관심이 디지털컨텐츠 저자나 출판사, ISP를 중심으로 높아지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재의 디지털저작관리기술이 직면하고 있는 취약점인 정적인 저작권관리 문제와 해결과 감시 및 추적기능 보강을 위하여 적응형 에이전트 기술(ARPA : Adaptive Resource Protection Agent)에 기반한 동적 디지털저작관리 시스템을 제안한다. 여기에서 동적 디지털저작권 관리를 위하여 동적미션제어 기법이 적용되고 온라인 및 오프라인 상에서의 컨텐츠 보호와 감시를 위하여 적응형 에이전트 기술이 적용된다. 또한, 프로토타입시스템을 구현하여 동적으로 디지털저작권을 보호하는 과정을 보인다.

  • Mobile agent technology has been the subject of much attention in the last few years, mainly due to the proliferation of distributed software technologies combined with the distributed AI research field. In this paper, we present a design of communication networks of agents that cooperate with each other for forwarding messages to the specific mobile agent in order to make the overall system location transparent. In order to make the material accessible to general intelligent system researchers, we present the general ideas abstractly in terms of the graph theory. In particular, a proxy network is defined as a directed acyclic graph satisfying some structural conditions. In turns out that the definition ensures some kind of reliability of the network, in the sense that as long as at most one proxy agent is abnormal, there agent exists a communication path, from every proxy agent to the target agent, without passing through the abnormal proxy. As the basis for the implementation of this scheme, an appropriate initial proxy network is specified and the dynamic nature of the network is represented by a set of graph transformation rules. It is shown that those rules are sound, in the sense that all graphs created from the initial proxy network by zero or more applications of the rules are guaranteed to be proxy networks. Finally, we will discuss some implementation issues.

데이터 기반 기술규제의 딜레마 : 국내 트래킹·프로파일링 사례에 대한 주인-대리인 모델의 적용 (Dilemma of Data Driven Technology Regulation : Applying Principal-agent Model on Tracking and Profiling Cases in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 주인-대리인 모델을 적용하여 데이터 산업의 이해관계자인 정부, 개인, 기업의 규제 이슈를 분석해내는 데 목적이 있다. 데이터 산업은 거대한 딜레마적 상황에 직면해 있다. 데이터 경제의 중요성이 빠르게 부상하고 있으나, 데이터 사용에 대한 국가의 규제로 인해 산업 발전이 저해되는 한편, 데이터의 무분별한 활용으로 인한 개인의 프라이버시 역시 침해받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기술적 사례연구의 방식을 이용하여 딜레마적 상황에서 각각의 행위자들의 이해관계에 기반한 규제 이슈를 분석하고, 그에 대응할 수 있는 전략을 제시하였다. 사례분석 결과 첫째, 국내 데이터 산업의 주요 정책행위자는 데이터 회사와 정부이다. 둘째, 데이터 기반 사회에서 가장 우려스러운 두 가지 문제점은 기업이 빈번하게 개인정보를 침해한다는 것과 국제적 기업의 데이터 독과점 현상이 나타난다는 점이다. 이러한 규제 이슈를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 전략을 다음과 같이 제시하고 있다. 정부는 글로벌 기업의 감독을 위한 국내 대리인제도를 활성화하고 데이터 보호를 증대해야 한다. 기업은 차별적인 규제환경을 해결하고 합법적인 데이터 활용기준을 확장해야 한다. 마지막으로 개인은 능동적인 동의 행태를 구현해야 한다.

FTA협상에서 민간참여의 역할 : 미국, 멕시코, 일본 사례를 중심으로 (The Role of Private Participation in FTA Negotiation : A Case of U.S., Mexico and Japan)

  • This study investigates the role of private participation in FTA Negotiation in case of US, Mexico and Japan. We utilize Putnam(1988)'s two stage negotiation model, Schelling Conjecture and Principal-Agent(P-A) theory to understand the role of private sector in FTA Negotiation. Those theories are useful to understand the behavior and interaction of key players such as private sector, congress and government in FTA negotiation. Putnam(1988)'s two stage negotiation model divides the FTA negotiation process into two processes: the external negotiation with foreign country and domestic negotiation with domestic interest group. Principal-Agent(P-A) theory provides the theoretical foundation of Putnam's two stage negotiation model, which is that principal's interest is not identical to the interest of Agent. We showed that the private sector and congress play an important role in FTA negotiation in United States. In case of Mexico, the private sector and government occupy the dominant position in FTA negotiation. In particular, the cooperation of industry and government has been successfully established via COECE in Mexico. In contrast to these countries, the role of private participation in trade policy is relatively low in Japan and Korea.

A Structure of Personalized e-Learning System Using On/Off-line Mixed Estimations Based on Multiple-Choice Items

  • In this paper, we present a structure of personalized e-Learning system to study for a test formalized by uniform multiple-choice using on/off line mixed estimations as is the case of Driver :s License Test in Korea. Using the system a candidate can study toward the license through the Internet (and/or mobile instruments) within the personalized concept based on IRT(item response theory). The system accurately estimates user's ability parameter and dynamically offers optimal evaluation problems and learning contents according to the estimated ability so that the user can take possession of the license in shorter time. In order to establish the personalized e-Learning concepts, we build up 3 databases and 2 agents in this system. Content DB maintains learning contents for studying toward the license as the shape of objects separated by concept-unit. Item-bank DB manages items with their parameters such as difficulties, discriminations, and guessing factors, which are firmly related to the learning contents in Content DB through the concept of object parameters. User profile DB maintains users' status information, item responses, and ability parameters. With these DB formations, Interface agent processes user ID, password, status information, and various queries generated by learners. In addition, it hooks up user's item response with Selection & Feedback agent. On the other hand, Selection & Feedback agent offers problems and content objects according to the corresponding user's ability parameter, and re-estimates the ability parameter to activate dynamic personalized learning situation and so forth.

  • 본 논문은 연속시간에서의 타카키-수게노 퍼지모델 기반 다개체 시스템의 상태일치를 위한 제어기 설계 기법을 제안한다. 그래프 이론을 통해 각 개체간의 정보를 교환하는 네트워크를 표현한다. 제어기 설계 조건은 선형 행렬 부등식의 형태로 유도되며, 수치적 예제를 통해 제안된 방법의 효율성을 증명한다.
