영양교육과 운동중재가 중년여성의 건강관련 요인과 식사의 질에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Nutrition Education and Exercise Intervention on Health and Diet Quality of Middle-Aged Women)

  • This study was conducted to investigate effects of nutrition education and exercise intervention on health and diet quality of middle-aged women. The subjects were 209 women who wanted to involve in the health promotion program run by Jincheon-Gun Health Center. Nutrition education was given once a week and dance sports were done twice a week for 3 months. Nutrient intakes were assessed by 24-hour recall method and food records. Dietary habits and nutrition knowledge were investigated by self-administered questionnaires before and after the intervention program. Body and blood compositions were measured before and after the program. The nutrient adequacy ratio (NAR) was significantly increased in energy, protein, vitamin A, vitamin B2 and calcium, mean adequacy ration (MAR) was significantly increased (p < 0.05), and also the index of nutritional quality (INQ) was significantly increased in protein (p < 0.01). Percent (%) RIs of protein (p < 0.01) and calcium (p < 0.05) were significantly increased and body weight (p < 0.001), body fat (p < 0.01), soft lean mass (p < 0.01) and BMI (p < 0.001) decreased. Over the 3-month study, there was a significant trend toward higher HDL-C and albumin levels and lower LDL-C level (p < 0.001). The results showed that nutrition education and exercise intervention could improve the body health and the diet quality.

중년취업주부의 정서 상태 및 행복감에 미치는 요가와 차 명상 복합 여가프로그램 개발 연구 - 50대 단순노무직 취업주부를 중심으로 - (A Study to Develop a Leisure Program Combining Yoga and Tea Meditation on the Mood States and Happiness of Middle-aged Working Wives - Focus on Elementary Workers in Their 50's -)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a leisure program that combines yoga and tea meditation affects the positive mood states and happiness of elementary working wives in their 50's. For this study, a pre and posttest control group design was used. A total of 46 subjects were allocated equally to the experimental group and the control group. A pretest, comprising 13 sessions of treatment, and a posttest were conducted. Of the 23 subjects in the experimental group, 16 were selected as interviewees and underwent in-depth interviews. The main results of this study are as follows: First, the experimental group of middle-aged working wives showed higher positive mood states(t=-3.494, p<.01) and higher levels of happiness(t=2.236, p<.05) after the program compared to the control group. Second, after participating in the study, those who had undergone in-depth interviews indicated that their lives had changed to become more confident, happy, comfortable, and self-directed, and that this change had positively impacted their relationships. In conclusion, in a situation where the lives, leisure and happiness of middle-aged working wives is becoming a social problem and a topic of discussion for national policies, it would be beneficial to develop and establish leisure programs for this population in order to promote health and happiness.

비영리조직의 노인체육 서비스품질이 서비스만족에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Service Quality of Aged Sports on Service Satisfaction for Non-profit Organization)

  • 본 연구는 비영리조직에서 제공하는 노인체육 프로그램에 대한 지각된 서비스품질의 차이와 서비스품질이 서비스만족에 미치는 영향을 규명하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 대상은 부산광역시 16개 구 군에서 실시하고 있는 생활체육협의회 프로그램에 참여하는 노인들을 모집단으로 하여 유목적적 표집법에 의해 320명을 표집하였으며, 응답에 불성실한 12부를 제외한 308부의 설문지를 분석에 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS Ver. 12.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 t-검정과 일원분산분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따라 지각된 서비스품질과 서비스만족은 부분적으로 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 연령에 따라 지각된 서비스품질은 부분적으로 차이가 나타났으며, 서비스만족은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 참여빈도에 따라 지각된 서비스품질은 부분적으로 차이가 나타났으며, 서비스만족은 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 넷째, 참여기간에 따라 지각된 서비스품질과 서비스만족은 부분적으로 차이가 나타났다. 다섯째, 서비스품질 하위요인 중 성과가 서비스만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

스포츠영재성 검사 항목과 코스타스 점수간의 연관성 분석 (Association analysis between sports talent test scores and KOSTASS scores)

  • 이 연구에서는 최근 체육영재선정에 공통적으로 사용되고 있는 스포츠영재성 검사 항목과 코스타스 점수간의 연관성 분석을 통해 상대적으로 중요한 검사 항목과 그렇지 않은 검사 항목을 통계적으로 밝혀내는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위해 2010년도 서울지역 (강동구, 송파구, 노원구, 광진구 등)과 경기지역 (의정부시, 가평군, 구리시 등) H대학 체육영재양성사업에 지원한 201명의 초등학교 학생들의 자료가 사용되었으며, 육상 네 종목 (투척, 도약, 단거리, 중장거리), 수영 및 체조 종목의 코스타스 점수와 1차 스포츠영재성 검사에서 얻은 기본 체격, 체력 운동능력, 생리적 기능 정보를 이용하였다. 구체적으로 순수한 연관성 분석을 위해 피어슨상관계수와 편상관계수를 사용하였으며, 중요한 검사 항목 선택을 위해 단계적 회귀분석을 이용하였다. 그 결과 골연령, 체중, 흉위와 50m달리기, 하프스쿼트점프가 6개 코스타스 점수에 미치는 영향이 상대적으로 미약한 것으로 나타났다.

피부건강 웰니스 프로그램이 웰니스지수 및 피부건강지표에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Skin Anti-Aging Wellness Program on Factors Related to Wellness Index and Skin Health)

  • Purpose : Wellness tourism is defined as travel for the purpose of promoting health and well-being through physical, psychological, or spiritual activities. The development and verification of a comprehensive wellness program for health care for workers is needed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the wellness and skin health effects of skin health programs in order to develop high-value health care services. Methods : The subjects were 15 middle-aged women who understood the research and volunteered and participated in the two-day skin health wellness program. Participants were measured to determine their wellness index and skin health twice: before and after participating in the program. Wellness index measures include comprehensive wellness, physical wellness, mental wellness, emotional wellness, social/cultural wellness, financial wellness, and environmental wellness. Skin health measurement items consisted of skin oil, skin water, skin pore, skin elasticity, skin wrinkle, and skin pigment. The skin wellness program included aerobic exercise, endurance exercise, functional food, cosmetics, herbal tea, massages, spa treatments, meditation, and marine leisure sports. The t-test analysis was used to compare the difference between wellness index and skin health measurement items before and after the program. Results : Among the wellness index items, the comprehensive wellness index (p<.05), mental wellness index (p<.05) and environmental wellness index (p<.05) showed statistically significant differences. Among skin health items, skin oil (p<.05), skin elasticity (p<.01) and skin wrinkle (p<.01) all showed statistically significant differences. There was no statistically significant difference in physical wellness, emotional wellness, social/cultural wellness, financial wellness, skin water, skin pore and skin pigment. Conclusion : This study confirmed that the two-day complex wellness program is an effective program for some items of wellness index and skin health.

중년기 남성의 피로대처에 관한 주관성 (Subjectivity on Coping with Fatigue among Middle-aged Men)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify factors that affect coping with fatigue in middle-aged men according to Q-methodology and to provide basic strategies for health promotion. Method: 25 subjects in Seoul, Incheon, Chung-buk classified 24 selected Q-statements in to 9 points standard. The collected data were analyzed by using a QUNAL pc program. Result: Principal component analysis identified 3 types of coping with fatigue among middle-aged Korean men. 1st Type : Coping with fatigue through various kinds of game, using alcohol, smoking cigarette other than rest and sleep. 2nd Type : Coping with fatigue through rest and sleep, taking medicine or food which helps relieving fatigue. 3rd Type : Coping with fatigue through acitivities such as sports or trip other than sleep. Conclusion: We have found how Korean middle-aged men cope against fatigue through this research. To setup and apply different nursing intervention on each type based on this result is needed.

농촌건강장수마을 노인의 운동태도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (The Factors Influencing Exercise Behaviors of Elderly Living at the Seniors Well-being Villages in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore factors influencing them and properties of exercise behaviors among rural elderly in Korea. To implementing it, data were gathered from a total of 356 elderly aged 65 and over living at the Seniors Well-being Villages being developed by the Rural Development Administration in Korea, using the structured questionnaires. also, data were analyzed by the SPSS / windows program. Results show that the exercise behavior of rural elderly was medium level as the average of 3.06 score($1{\sim}5$ score) and 44.2 percent among them didn't exercise regularly and 66.8% didn't participate in sports groups. Second, there were the difference in exercise behavior according to sex and age. Specifically, elderly men exercised more regularly and were aware of proper exercise methods than elderly women. However, there were no difference in exercise behavior according to age. Third, when we analyzed the difference in exercise behavior with the regularity of execution, the elderly who exercise regularly showed higher preference, awareness of necessity, regularity of execution, execution of stretching, participation in sports gatherings and awareness of proper methods than the counterparts. Fourth, we found that unhealthy elderly were more aware of necessity of exercise, exercised regularly, and participated in sports groups frequently than healthy elderly. Also, there was a positive influence of regularity of execution on exercise behavior. These results suggested that regular exercising is very important in health of rural elderly. Therefore, to improve their health, above all, exercise program must be developed

일부 농촌 노인의 신체활동기능과 운동행위 변화단계의 관련성 (The Relationship between Physical Activity Function and the Stages of Self-Change for Exercise in a Rural Aged People)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between physical activity function and stages of self-change for exercise in the aged of a farming village. The object of this research was to make with the basic data for the exercise program for the aged of rural area. Methods: This study was a volunteer sample of 612 persons, 60 years and above, who were living at the 2 farming villages, in 2005 July. This instruments were analyzed using frequency analysis and descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis. Results: The distribution of stages of self-change of the research object person showed that the pre-contemplation stage was most with 57.2%, and the contemplation stage : 8.1%, the preparation stage : 2.2%, the action stage : 22.5%, the maintenance stage : 10.0%. The person who having good physical function state and advanced stages of self-change of exercise were higher in the ratio of the educational level and the income level. Factors for physical function were effected by the aging and the woman negatively. Conclusion: Physical function scores were highly correlated with stages of self-change for exercise. So it will be helpful that the program which designed by one's physical function and stage of self-change for exercise would applied the one.

건강한 삶을 위한 여성 고령자들의 근력운동이 건강관련 요인에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Strength Exercise Program on Health-Related Factors of the Aged for Healthy Life)

  • 본 논문은 노인요양시설에서 생활하는 고령자를 대상으로 12주간 실시한 근력운동 프로그램(주 3회, 회당 60분)이 노인들의 건강관련 체력 및 대사증후군 요인에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 실시되었다. 총 27명의 대상자(운동군 15명, 대조군 12명)가 참여하였으며 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 12주간의 근력운동 프로그램은 노인의 건강관련 체력요인을 유의하게 증가시켰으며, 특히 근력 및 평형성, 그리고 유연성의 증가가 보행능력을 크게 향상시켜 낙상을 예방하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. 그리고 노인요양시설에서 근력운동이 노인들의 혈압과 혈당을 유의하게 감소시켜 대사증후군의 위험인자를 긍정적으로 개선시킴으로써 건강수준을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다.

8주간의 맵시 운동 프로그램이 중년여성들의 보행 동작 시 지면반력 요인들에 미치는 영향 (Effect of a Maepsi Exercise Program on the Ground Reaction Force Variables of middle-aged women during Gait)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 신체 전신 운동인 맵시 운동 프로그램을 중년여성들에게 8주간 적용하여 보행 시 수직 지면반력 크기, 발생시간, 압력 중심 요인들에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있었다. 본 연구의 피험자로 운동군 13명(연령, 41±4.4 세; 신장, 162.5±5.8 cm; 체중, 57.8±6.7 kg; 신체질량지수, 21.9±2.4 kg/m2), 대조군 12명(연령, 41.1±5.6 세; 신장, 160.9±5.5 cm; 체중, 576.2±8.1 kg; 신체질량 지수, 21.7±2.9 kg/m2) 총 25명이 참여하였다. 운동군은 7영역 23종 77동작의 맵시운동 프로그램을 8주간 주 3회 실시하였다. 보행 시 지면반력 요인들의 검증을 위하여 Two-way repeated measures ANOVA를 실시하였으며, 사후검증은 bonferroni adjustment로 분석하였다(a=.05). 맵시 운동 프로그램의 운동군은 보행 시 FMWA와 FPO 시점까지의 소요 시간, FMWA와 FPO에서 발생한 수직 지면반발력 그리고 AP 방향 COP의 RMS 요인들에서 대조군에 비해 상대적으로 큰 수치를 나타내었다. 그러므로 8주간의 맵시운동 프로그램은 보행을 수행하는 중년여성들의 가속과 감속 운동 기능을 향상시킨 것으로 나타났다.
