내적·외적 미덕적 행위가 업무성과에 미치는 영향 - 질적 연구를 통한 연구모형 개발을 중심으로 - (The Influence of Internal And External Virtuous Behaviors on Job Performance: Focusing on the creating research model for the virtuous behaviors through qualitative research)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 독립변수로 사용된 조직 내 구성원들이 주는 미덕적 행위, 조직 내 구성원들이 받는 미덕적 행위, 조직 외 사회구성원들에게 주는 미덕적 행위, 조직 외 사회구성원들로부터 받는 미덕적 행위의 핵심범주를 질적 연구방법론을 통해 도출한 후 이들이 업무성과에 미치는 영향관계에 대한 연구모형을 설계하는 것이다. 즉, 개방코딩, 축 코딩, 선택코딩을 통해서 도출 된 핵심범주로서 조직 내 구성원들이 서로 주고받는 미덕적 행위와 조직 외 사회 구성원들과 주고받는 미덕적 행위들이 조직 동일시, 긍정적 업무관련 정체성, 정서적 몰입, 감정고갈, 집단적 자긍심의 변수들을 통해 업무성과와 어떠한 인과관계가 있는지를 질적 연구를 통해 밝혀내는 것이다. 본 연구 방법은 국내 5개 소방서를 대상으로 50명의 소방대원들을 인터뷰한 후 이들에 대한 개방코딩과 축 코딩, 선택코딩을 실시하였다. 인터뷰 자료를 근거로 개방코딩, 축 코딩, 선택코딩 후 10개의 핵심범주를 도출해 낼 수가 있었다. 질적 연구 결과 최종적으로 10개의 핵심범주, 즉 조직 내 구성원들이 주는 미덕적 행위, 조직 내 구성원들이 받는 미덕적 행위, 조직 동일시, 긍정적 업무관련 정체성, 정서적 몰입, 감정 고갈, 집단적 자긍심이 인과적 영향관계를 맺으며 업무성과에 영향을 미친다는 것을 밝혀냈다. 이러한 질적 연구 방법론에 기반 하여 최종적으로 조직 내 구성원들이 서로 주고받는 미덕적 행위와 조직 외 사회 구성원들과 주고받는 미덕적 행위들의 핵심범주를 도출해 내게 되었고, 이를 바탕으로 연구모형을 설계하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 의의는 소방대원들이 조직 내 구성원들과 주고받는 미덕적 행위와 조직 외 사회구성원들과 주고받는 미덕적 행위에 대한 핵심범주들이 질적 연구방법론을 통해 도출되어 최종적으로 이들이 업무성과에 영향을 미치게 되는 연구모형을 설계하였다는데 의의가 있을 것이다.

<열녀함양박씨전>의 박씨와 『삼강행실도: 열녀편』의 관계를 통해 본 열녀제작의 심리적 요인 (The psychological factors of creation of virtue women based on the relationship between Mrs. Park in and Samganghaengsildo's the virtuous women volume)

  • The author analyzed the psychological factors which affected on the way of Mrs. Park in the became a virtuous woman and compared these psychological factors with a virtuous women in Samganghaengsildo based on the relationship between Mrs. Park in and Samganghaengsildo's the virtuous women volume. First of all, it's about the power of authority on women. The volume of Samganghaengsildo's virtuous women was about the group of women who were recognized as virtuous women by the king who had absolute power at the time period. The volume of Samganghaengsildo's virtuous women was very well known for women. This book had a huge impact on women since the government authority educated the women using this book. In addition, the incredible events which were written in Samganghaengsildo indicated that the behavior of virtue was the right thing to follow since even super power recognized it as a good thing to do and the woman might be punished when she didn't follow the behavior of virtue. Second, it was based on the similarity of circumstance and uncertainty for the future. Mrs. Park in showed similar behavioral patterns with a virtuous woman in Samganghaengsildo since she took her role model from the virtuous woman. When Mrs. Park lost her husband, she was not sure about her future and the volume of Samganghaengsildo pointed out that there was another world after the death and she would meet her husband again after the death. In addition, the incorrect information that she would feel better psychologically when she followed her dead husband instead of living herself. Third, it is about the resemblance of obsessive mind and self internalization. The examination of the record of Mrs. Park showed that Mrs. Park tried to internalize integrity, loyalty, and virtue of virtuous women in Samganghaengsildo and became herself like virtuous women. In addition, the woman's obsessive mindset remarkly reflected in Samganghaengsildo. For instance, Mrs. Park in held to the time of death of her husband and the writer who wrote about the behavior of Mrs. Park also emphasized that the time of death of Mrs. Park was closed to the time of the death of her husband. This explained that the obsessive mindset of women in the epic of virtue women could have influence on the women's mind who tried to show the similar behavior with a virtue woman and internalize it. Finally, the people of the day also were not free from it.

조직미덕이 조직구성원의 태도에 미치는 영향 -정서적 몰입과 집단적 자긍심을 매개로- (The impact of virtuous behavior in organization on the employee's attitude : Focusing on the Mediation Effect of Affective Commitment and Collective Self Esteem)

  • 본 연구는 조직내부와 조직외부를 향한 조직의 미덕적 행위가 조직구성원에게 어떻게 영향을 미치게 되는지 보고자 하였다. 연구1에서는 국내기업의 직장인들을 대상으로 국내 기업의 미덕적 행위에 대해서 파악하였으며 이러한 미덕적 행위가 결과적으로 조직 구성원에게 어떤 영향을 미치는지에 관해서 인터뷰를 통한 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 연구1의 결과를 기반으로 연구2에서는 국내 기업 253명의 조직구성원들을 대상으로 실증적 연구를 실시하였다. 연구1의 결과, 국내 직장인들은 조직미덕을 조직내부(조직 구성원)를 위한 미덕행위와 조직외부(사회)를 위한 미덕행위로 인식하고 있었다. 또한 조직 내부의 미덕적 행위는 정서적 몰입을 불러 일으켰으며 조직 외부의 미덕적 행위는 집단적 자긍심을 발생시켰다. 연구2의 결과, 조직 내부의 미덕적 행위는 정서적 몰입에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조직 내부의 미덕적 행위는 정서적 몰입을 매개로 조직시민행동과 조직 충성도에는 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 감정적 소진에는 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 매개효과를 밝혀냈다. 한편, 조직 외부의 미덕적 행위 역시 집단적 자긍심에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 조직 외부의 미덕적 행위는 집단적 자긍심을 매개로 조직시민행동과 조직 충성도에는 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 감정적 소진에는 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 매개효과를 검증하였다.

실천적 추론 가정과 수업이 중학생의 도덕성에 미치는 효과 (The effect of practical reasoning Home Economics instruction on morality of middle school students)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop lesson plans and teaching materials applying practical reasoning instruction for the 7th home economics curriculum content, and to test the effect of practical reasoning instruction on morality of middle school students. This study is a quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest design. Practical reasoning instruction for experimental group and traditionally lecture oriented instruction for comparison group were input, and tested the statistical differences between two groups before and after the treatment. The subjects for this study were 8th grade students of a middle school located in Kwangju city. Two classes of 76 students homogeneous in characteristics and academic record for each experimental and comparison group were assigned. Instrument used for this study was a revised moral indicator, that was developed by KEDI(2001). Spss/win for 10.0 statistics program was used for analysis of data. ANCOVA was done for testing statistical difference between pretest and posttest of experiment group and comparison group. Result of study which showed statistically significant difference between groups were:1. Virtue of "responsibility for words and deeds"(from 3.22 to 3.61 for experimental group and from 3.27 to 3.26 for comparison group) in domain of responsibility and cooperation, and virtue of "punctuality"(from 3.59 to 3.76 for experimental group and from 3.41 to 3.28 for comparison group) in domain of trustworthiness, 2. Virtue of "conversation etiquette"(from 3.47 to 3.67 for experimental group and from 3.28 to 3.31 for comparison group) in domain of caring for others, 3. Virtue of "forgiveness other′s mistakes"(from 3.32 to 3.65 for experimental group and from 3.33 to 3.25 for comparison group) in domain of kindness, concession, forgiveness, and virtue of "volunteering activity"(from 2.89 to 3.71 for experimental group and from 3.36 to 3.45 for comparison group) in domain of compassion and service, 4. Virtue of "equip the convenient facility for handicapped"(from 4.19 to 4.29 for experimental group and from 4.17 to 3.91 for comparison group) in domain of equality and human rights, virtue of "recovering selfness for own community"(from 2.34 to 2.79 for experimental group and from 2.14 to 2.29 for comparison group), virtue of "opposing way of accomplishing purpose by an means"(from 3.27 to 3.31 for experimental group and from 3.47 to 3.05 for comparison group), virtue of "opposing election of considering acquaintance"(from 3.35 to 3.56 for experimental group and from 3.12 to 3.14 for comparison group) in domain of fairness, and virtue of "eradication of military force or violence among countries"(from 3.49 to 3.57 for experimental group and from 3.38 to 3.05 for comparison group) in domain of love for humanity. The morality of experimental group was improved more than that of comparison group in all of above items. From the results of this study, following conclusion was drawn. Practical reasoning instruction in home economics is effective in raising students′ virtue and value of responsibility in words and deeds, trustworthiness in punctuality, courtesy of not interrupting conversation, forgiveness of other′s mistakes, volunteering activity, equity for handicapped, fairness opposing selfness for own community, fairness opposing way of accomplishing purpose by all means, fairness opposing election of considering acquaintance, and love for humanity opposing war.

  • Puporse This study is intended to distinct of Taeumin chungsimyeonjatang on the Shinchukpan Dongyi Suse Bowon through compare with early books' prescription by studying use of Sanyak and Yeonjayuk. Method This study is reserch to use of Sanyak and Yeonjayuk in early books, Dongyi Suse Bowon-Sasang-chobonkyeon, Gapobon Dongyi Suse Bowon, Shinchukpan Dongyi Suse Bowon and Dongyibogam, Taepyungheymin-hwajegukbang in sequence of date. with this, we study a base of virtue of Taeumin chungsimyeonjatang. Result and conclusion 1. Taeumin chungsimyeonjatang is a prescription of treatment Gonscratia and CVA. 2. Taeumin chungsimyeonjatang is base on Chungsimyeonjaum in Dongyibogam. 3. The chief virtue of Taeumin chungsimyeonjatang is accord with all prescription after 1894's Gapobon Dongyi Suse Bowon.

미국형 기사의 탄생: 에드윈 어스틴 애비의 벽화에 등장하는 중세 기사의 기원과 사회적 기능 연구 (The Birth of American Knights: A Study on the Origin and Social Function of the Medieval Knights appeared in Edwin Austin Abbey's Murals)

  • 본 논문은 에드윈 어스틴 애비의 벽화 ${\ll}$성배의 탐색${\gg}$에 등장하는 중세 기사의 기원과 사회적 기능에 관한 연구이다. 미국 문화에서 중세 기사 유형은 1850년대 말문학에서 먼저 등장했으며, 1870년대에는 정치 카툰에서도 다루어졌다. 아메리칸 르네상스 벽화 중에서는 1895년 애비의 벽화에서 처음 나타났다. 중세 기사는 영국에서 라파엘전파 화가들이 즐겨 그린 주제였다. 영국에서활동한 애비는 라파엘전파 회화와 로열 아카데미의 회화 전통을 종합하여 중세기사를 형상화했다. 그러나 신체적 활동에 기반한 모험담을 강조한 라파엘전파화가들과 달리, 애비는 기사의 도덕성을 강조했다. 이는 애비가 1890년대 미국도금시대의 사회적, 경제적 상황을 고려한 결과로 풀이된다. 미국은 남북전쟁 이후 경제적 번영을 이루었으나 화려한 경제 성장 이면에는 사회의 안정과 결속을해치는 부정부패, 빈부격차, 그로 인한 계급사회의 갈등이 도사리고 있었다. 극심한 빈부 격차는 사회적 위기로 이어졌다. 문학과 미술에서는 이에 대한 자각과 자성을 촉구했다. 애비는 도금시대 자본가의 만행을 고발하고 개혁의 희망을 담은벽화 ${\ll}$성배의 탐색${\gg}$을 제작했으며, 개혁의 이상을 실현시킬 수 있는 지도자의 상징으로 갤러해드를 선택했다. 애비의 벽화는 보스턴 공공 도서관에 설치되어 정부의 부패와 그로 인한 경제적, 사회적 혼란에 대한 경각심을 불러일으키고 자치 단체의 도덕성 쇄신을 촉구하는 공적 기능을 수행했다. 도덕적 책임감을 강조한 애비의 미국형 기사는 또한 애국심을 고취하는 매개체가 되었다. 이 작품에서 중세 유럽 기사는 미국 시민으로 탄생했으며, 시민적 덕목을 지닌 지도자의 표상으로 변화했다.

매킨타이어의 현대 도덕 다원주의 비판 (MacIntyre's Critique of Modern Moral Pluralism)

  • 이 논문은 현대 도덕 다원주의에 대한 매킨타이어의 비판을 살펴보고 그의 비판이 갖는 한계를 드러내고자 하는 글이다. 오늘날 우리 사회 문화의 두드러진 특징은 중요한 도덕적 문제들에 대한 의견의 차이가 좀처럼 합의를 이끌어내기 어렵다는 점이다. 낙태나 안락사와 같은 문제, 분배적 정의나 재산권 같은 문제, 전쟁과 평화와 같은 문제를 두고 일어나는 논쟁들은 곧장 주장과 반대 주장의 대립으로 귀착되고 만다. 왜냐하면 서로 대립되는 입장을 취하는 사람들이 서로 공통된 기준에 의해 평가할 수 없는 서로 다른 도덕적 전제들에 호소하고 있기 때문이다. 우리는 이러한 상황을 흔히 도덕적 다원주의라고 부르며, 이러한 상황은 자유주의 체제 아래서 사람들이 자신의 이성을 발휘한 자연스러운 결과라고 인정한다. 그러나 매킨타이어는 "덕의 상실"(After Virtue)에서 현대의 이러한 도덕적 다원주의 상황을 격렬히 비판하며, 그 원인은 이른바 '계몽주의적 기획'의 실패때문이라고 진단한다. 매킨타이어에 따르면, 지난 삼백년간 철학을 지배했던 계몽주의의 기획은 역사적 사회적 상황에 영향받지 않으면서 인간의 본성과 목적에 대한 특정한 이해에 좌우되지 않는 합리성의 개념을 마련하려고 하였다. 그러나 그러한 시도는 현실적으로 달성되지 못했을 뿐만 아니라 그러한 시도에는 근본적인 결함이 있기 때문에 결코 달성될 수가 없다. 그 결과 현대의 도덕과 정치 사상은 혼란 상태에 빠지게 되었으며, 이 혼란은 우리가 일종의 아리스토텔레스적인 패러다임으로 전환할 때에만, 그 본질적 요소인 목적론에 토대하여 실천 이성에 대한 설명을 구성할 때에만 벗어날 수 있다. 그러나 "덕의 상실"에서의 그 주장이 갖는 가장 어려운 난점 하나는 우리가 상황 속에 있는 존재, 이야기 속의 존재이기만 한 것이 아니라 우리는 기본적으로 나의 인생의 주인이자 나의 이야기의 저자라는 점에 주목할 때, 과연 현대라는 사회적 상황 속에서 그가 옹호하는 아리스토텔레스적 생각을 다시 적용하는 것이 가능할까 의심스럽다는 점이다. 아울러 자유로운 제도를 지속시키려고 한다면 도덕적 다원주의는 재앙이라기보다는 인간이성이 행사된 자연스러운 결과로 받아들여져야 할 것 같다는 점이다.

폴리머 복합체에 의한 내력벽 보강효과 실험 (Reinforcement of Load Bearing Wall Using Polymer Composites)

  • Recent years, many items in construction industry are produced by precasting from factories. Among the precasting items which are cost effective by virtue of standardization of size and reduction of construction time is the load bearing wall. However, due to many reasons inherent in concrete materials, often it was found that the member did not meet the designed strength after construction. In this case, the wall had to be ether replaced or reinforced somehow. Since replacement is almost impossible due to budget and schedule, reinforcement is a preferred choice in many cases. Therefore, objective of this study was to evaluate reinforcement of the wall using polymer composites. Flexural strength and axial compressive strength were evaluate for the wall before and after reinforcement. The polymer composite reinforcement was found to be very effective in improving these strengths.

금연침(耳鍼) 시술을 통해 살펴본 대전지역 고등학생의 흡연 실태조사

  • After applying anti-smoking acupuncture to 756 high school students at least 4 times, I surveyed about the effect of the therapy. The result of the survey is as follows. 1. The age to start smoking is getting lower. And the rate of female students' smoking is increasing significantly. 2. The survey shows that students started to smoke mainly because of curiosity, stress, peer pressure, and their misunderstanding which the way to smoke looks cool. 3. The anti-smoking acupuncture therapy is expected to decrease the smoking desire because the applicants usually experience headache, dizziness, gastroenteric trouble after the treatment. 4. Students complained about earache and inconvenience of washing. 5. The result shows that the anti-smoking acupuncture therapy is generally efficacious, but the virtue of the therapy is much better with the students' willingness to stop smoking.

주자학과 대순사상의 수양론 비교 연구 (The Comparative Research on the Theory of Self-cultivation in Neo-Confucianism and Daesoon Thought)

  • This thesis examined Chu Hsi's self-cultivation theory as the representative theory of cultivation in Confucianism, while juxtaposing it to self-cultivation theory in Daesoon thought, concentrating on its similarity and difference. Neo-Confucianism is a scholarship which has wielded a tremendous influence upon East Asia, while functioning as an official scholarship for long period up to Yuan, Ming, and Ching period, after achieving its synthesis by Chu Hsi. After 13th century, Neo-Confucianism has been a representative academic system in Confucianism, and self-cultivation theory was in its center. It suggested various virtues that classical scholars have to equip to fulfill the sainthood and the politics of royal road. The self-cultivation theory of Chu Hsi was developed upon the basis of the theory 'Li-Qi' and the theory of mind. Here, the practice of Geokyung(morally awakened state with a reverent spirit in every moment) and Gyeokmul-tsiji(reaching into the utmost knowledge through investigation of things) formed a nucleus of Chu Hsi's self-cultivation theory. While Geokyung was to reveal one's true nature through cultivation of mind, Gyeokmul-tsiji was to demonstrate the complete use of mind's essence and function. Chu Hsi's self-cultivation theory attempted to realize the unity of heaven and man, and through cultivating self and governing people, it also tried to achieve its ideal of the society of Great Union(Daedong). Daesoon Thought is originated from Sangjenim who has descended to this world as a human being called Jeungsan. He went on his circuit to rectify the disorder of heaven and earth for 9 years to rectify the Three worlds of heaven, earth and human being which were faced with total annihilation due to its rule of mutual conflict, while creating an earthly paradise. Respecting the will of Sangjenim, Dojunim established the foundation of Do through launching 'Meukeukdo' and setting tenet, creed and object so that the cultivators (Doins) could believe and respect the truth of Sangje's great itineration (Daesoon). Among those, the two components of creed, which are four fundamental principles and the three fundamental attitudes are of great account as precept and cardinal point. Through this means, the cultivators of Daesoonjinrihoe aspire to guard against self-deception through transforming the human spirit, to realize earthly immortality through renewing human beings, and to create an earthly paradise through transforming the world. This thesis attempted to compare and analyze the theory of self-cultivation in Neo-Confucianism and Daesoon Thought in the aspect of ground, method, and object of cultivation. First, as for the ground of cultivation, the doctrines of Chu-tzu and Daesoon thought place the essence of cultivation on 'heaven'. Yet, whereas the former postulates Taekeuk (the Great Ultimate) as a principle as well as the heaven of a natural order, Daesoon thought postulates Sangenim as the heaven of superintendence as well as the heaven of a natural order, signified as its equation of Daesoon with circle, along with the unity of Meukeuk (Endlessness) and Taegeuk (the Great Ultimate). Further, the doctrine of Chu-zhu and Daesoon thought is identical in the point that both thoughts see mind as the subject of cultivation, while trying to restore a pure essence. Nevertheless, whereas Neo-Confucianism intends to give scope to ability of the complete use of mind's essence and function, Daesoon Thought sees mind as the essence which is used by spiritual beings and as an organ that heaven, earth and human being rely upon as the center of the universe. In the aspect of method of cultivation, the doctrine of Chuzhu lays emphasis on the rational factor in that it brightens its 'myung-deoki'(bright inner virtue),' while trying to correspond to the law of heaven on the basis of 'Geokyung' and 'Gyeokmul-tsiji.' On the contrary, Daesoon thought lays much emphasis on faith factor in that it aspires for human perfection based on the restoration of conscience by cultivating Daesoonjinri with sincerity, reverence and faith along with 'quieting the heart-mind', 'quieting the body', 'respecting the God of the Ninth Heaven', and 'observing ritual practice on the basis of the faith in Sangjenim. Yet, both thoughts have similarities in that cultivation of body forms the basis and that they attempt to realize their ideals through cultivation in daily life while taking 'Guarding against self-deception' as the key method of self-cultivation.' However, the principle of Chu-zhu can be said to be a voluntary and autonomous practice based on scripture of the saint as well as self-reflection. On the other hand, Daesoon thought reveals certain difference in that it combines faith factor with one's self-effort by concentrating on cultivation under the presence of Sangjenim as the object of belief and the spirits of heaven and earth. In the aspect of object of cultivation, both thoughts share similarities in that the saint and the perfected gentleman with a moral virtue as an ideal image of men in both thoughts attempt to realize each of their 'myung-deok' in human nature as a heavenly mandate while respecting morality. Further, they also share similarity in the point that the desirable characters in both thoughts want to participate in harmonious creation and nurturance. Yet, the perfected gentleman with a moral virtue is also characterized by its aim for a new heaven and earth where there is no mutual conflict but mutual beneficence, by promoting the moral influence and virtue of Sangjenim over one's own virtue, while practising the mutual beneficence of all life through harmonious union of divine beings and human beings.
