리더의 행동적 성실성이 부하의 이직의도에 미치는 영향: 인지적 신뢰와 정서적 신뢰의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of a Leader's Behavioral Integrity on Subordinates' Intention to Leave: Cognitive and Affective Trust as Mediating Variables)

  • 본 연구는 리더의 특성 중 최근에 관심을 받고 있는 행동적 성실성(behavioral integrity)의 효과를 검토하는데 초점을 두고 있다. 리더의 행동적 성실성과 부하직원의 이직의도 간 관계에서 부하들이 느끼는 리더에 대한 신뢰가 매개역할을 하는지 분석하는 것이다. 이 때, 신뢰를 단일차원이 아닌 인지적 신뢰와 정서적 신뢰의 두 개 차원으로 구분하여 이를 통해 부하직원의 이직의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 이를 위해 국내의 다양한 기업들에 종사하는 357명의 조직구성원들을 대상으로 구조방정식모형(SEM)을 통한 연구모형과 가설을 검증하였다. 본 연구결과에 의하면, 리더의 행동적 성실성이 리더에 대한 인지적 신뢰와 정서적 신뢰에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 결과적으로 이직의도에 부(-)의 영향을 준다는 것이 검증되었다. 이후 본 연구결과에 따른 이론적/실무적 시사점과 본 연구의 한계 및 향후 연구방향에 대한 내용을 제시하였다.

외식기업의 정보원천이 신뢰, 구전의도, 그리고 온라인 구전의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Information Sources on Trust, WOM Intention, and eWOM Intention in the Restaurant Sector)

  • Purpose: In the restaurant sector, it has been known that consumers' positive perception of brands influences their positive WOM intention, and information sources play an important role in increasing credibility by enhancing consumer awareness and developing differentiated brands. This study examines the effects of information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) on trust (cognitive and affective) and, WOM and eWOM intention in the restaurant context. In the model, cognitive and affective trust play mediating roles in the relationships between information sources (e.g., advertisement, WOM, SNS) WOM and eWOM intention. Research design, data, and methodology: Research models and hypotheses were developed according to the research direction. The survey questionnaire items were developed and used appropriately according to the contents of this paper based on prior studies. All constructs were measured with multiple items developed and validated in prior studies. A total of 502 responses were collected from an online survey. The research model was evaluated using SmartPLS 4.0. Frequency analysis was performed to understand the demographic characteristics of the survey respondents. The reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity were assessed using measurement model analysis. The proposed model was verified using the structural equation model. Results: Advertisement, WOM, and SNS information sources all had a positive effect on affective trust, whereas only WOM had a significant effect on cognitive trust. In addition, affective trust had a positive effect on cognitive trust and eWOM intention but did not affect WOM intention. Finally, cognitive trust was found to have a positive effect on both WOM intention and eWOM intention. Conclusions: This study redefines the concept of where restaurant service companies should focus when providing consumers with information about their products and services. As a result, the conceptual framework of positive word of mouth intention to increase new customer visits to the restaurant brand has been expanded. In addition, this study not only presents an information source management strategy for restaurant brands, but also presents practical implications for resource allocation guidelines for customer management in the restaurant sector.

Time Lost forever: Relational bonds of watch manufacturers with retailers in India

  • Purpose: This study identifies the critical elements of relationship management required to be studied in distribution sciences to create a relational bond of watch manufacturers with their retailers in India. The offline watch retail market is undergoing a rapid transformation due to technology intervention in the product portfolio and the advent of online retailing. The study identifies the interrelationships amongst the constructs of interdependence, trust, affective commitment, and information exchange to form long-lasting relational bonds in the watch industry. Research design, data and methodology: We used a path analysis to investigate the relationship between interdependence, trust, affective commitment, and information exchange. Data has been collected from 143 watch retailers using judgmental sampling method. Results: The data analysis suggested the establishment of measurement and structural model. The absolute and relative goodness of fit models in the causal analysis are 0.628 and 0.959 suggesting a sufficient fit index. Based on the analysis of direct and indirect effects, the results indicate that trust fully mediates the effect of interdependence and information exchange of retailers with the manufacturer. Conclusions: Trust plays an important role in driving commitment and information exchange between watch manufacturers and retailers. 신뢰 및 충성도 구축 메커니즘에서 유대전략과 점포 운명기간의 상호작용 효과에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Interactive Effects of Bonding Tactics and Store's Age on Building Mechanism of Trust and Loyalty)

  • 본 연구는 유통경로 상에서 서비스기업의 공급업체에 대한 신뢰 및 충성도 구축과정에서 공급업체의 유대관계전략과 서비스기업의 점포 운영기간 사이에 상호작용효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 실증을 위해 한국동물병원협회 소속의 214개 동물병원을 표본으로 하여 설문을 수집한 후, 구조방정식 모델을 활용하여 가설을 검증하였다. 실증분석의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유통경로 구성원인 공급업체의 서비스기업에 대한 유대관계 전략에 따라 서비스기업이 구축하고자하는 신뢰의 유형에 대해 서로 다른 영향을 주는 것을 확인하였다. 즉, 공급업체의 사회적 유대전략은 서비스기업의 두 가지 유형의 감정적 신뢰 및 인지적 신뢰구축에 모두 영향을 주지만, 구조적 유대전략은 서비스기업의 감정적 신뢰에 영향을 주지만 인지적 신뢰에는 영향을 주지 않았다. 둘째, 공급업체의 사회적 유대전략은 서비스기업의 공급업체에 대한 충성도 구축에 직접적인 영향을 미치지만, 구조적 유대는 충성도 구축에 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 않고 감정적인 신뢰를 통하여 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 서비스기업의 감정적 신뢰는 그들의 공급업체에 대한 충성도 구축에 직접적인 영향을 주지만, 서비스기업의 인지적 신뢰는 공급업체에 대한 충성도 구축에 직접적인 영향을 주지 않고 감정적 신뢰를 통하여 형성되었다. 넷째, 서비스기업의 점포 운영기간이 길수록 공급업체는 사회적 유대를 활용하여 서비스기업의 신뢰 및 충성도를 직접적으로 구축하나, 점포 운영기간이 짧을수록 사회적 유대 및 구조적 유대를 부분적으로 활용하여 신뢰를 먼저 구축하고 그런 다음 충성도를 간접적으로 구축하였다. 따라서 유통경로 구성원들 사이에 서비스기업이 그들의 사업파트너인 공급업체에 대한 신뢰의 유형 및 충성도를 구축하기 위해서 서로 다른 유대관계 전략을 활용하며, 공급업체는 서비스 기업의 점포 운영기간에 따라 공급업체에 대한 서비스기업의 신뢰 및 충성도를 구축하는 과정에서 해당점포의 운영기간에 대한 상호작용효과를 고려할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 연구의 시사점, 한계점 그리고 향후 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다.

패션관여와 인터넷 친숙도에 따라 인터넷 쇼핑몰과의 상호작용성이 재구매 의도에 미치는 인과모형 분석 (The Effects of Interactivity on Consumer's Repurchase Intention in Internet Shopping Mall According to Fashion Involvement and Internet Familiarity)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of interactivity on consumer's affective commitment, trust, and repurchase intention according to fashion involvement and internet familiarity. The survey was limited to the respondents over 20 years old males and females living in Seoul and other metropolitan areas who had purchased fashion products in internet shopping mall. The questionnaire was collected from February 1, 2012 to February 12, 2012 and 562 useful data were analyzed using Amos 19. The results of this study were as follows: After respondents were divided into four groups including the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the high fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group, the path model was verified according to each group. All the paths except 'affective commitment ${\rightarrow}$ repurchase intention' were accepted for the high fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group. Comparing the low fashion involvement/low internet familiarity group with the low fashion involvement/high internet familiarity group, contents-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in high internet familiarity group while people-people interactivity had more influence on the relationship with internet shopping mall in low internet familiarity group. Also 'trust' showed stronger effects on repurchase intention than 'affective commitment'.

프랜차이즈 기업이미지가 종업원의 이타적 행동에 미치는 영향: 조직신뢰와 정서적 몰입의 매개역할 (The Impact of Corporate Image on Employees' Alturistic Behavior in Franchise Industry: Mediating Role of Organizational Trust and Affective Commitment)

  • Purpose - Previous studies about corporate image generally explore how corporate image affects a company's effectiveness from the consumer view. However this study attempts to explore the impacts of corporate image (reliability, friendly, corporate social responsibility, and innovation) on employees' altruistic behaviors in the franchise industry context. This study also examine whether organizational trust and affective commitment play a mediating role in the relationship between corporate image and employees' altruistic behaviors. The authors developed several hypotheses to achieve these purposes. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from employees in food-service franchise companies located in Seoul, Korea. Among a total of 363 questionnaires distributed, 294(response rate of 81%) questionnaires were returned. After excluding 18 invalid respondent questionnaires, 276 valid questionnaires(response rate of 76%) were coded and analyzed using frequency, confirmatory factor analysis, correlations analysis, and structural equation modeling with SPSS 21 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - The findings of the study are as follows: First, friendly, CSR, and innovation had positive effects on organizational trust, but reliability did not have a significant effect on organizational trust. Second, reliability and friendly of corporate image had positive effects on affective commitment, but CSR and innovation did have a significant effect on affective commitment. Third, organizational trust and affective commitment had positive effects on employees' altruistic behaviors. Conclusions - The aim of this study is to investigate the franchise corporate image as a significant influencing factor of employees' altruistic behaviors. The data were collected from only employees from franchising companies. The findings might vary from position to position. Future studies need to collect and compare data from managers. Future studies need to consider other variables that affect employees' altruistic behaviors. For example, leadership and market orientation might influence employees' attitude and behaviors. Also, future research should include other variables and it may have limitations in sample representative because of sampling franchise corporate in Seoul. Future studies will include franchise corporate all over the country. Future studies can also consider other variables (e.g., job performance and turnover intentions) to measure employee performance at the level of individuals and identify the impact of employee performance on business performance at the level of corporate.

소비자 관점에서의 패션기업의 이상적 CSR과 실제적 CSR 비교 (Comparison of Ideal versus Actual Fashion Corporate Social Responsibility from a Consumer Perspective)

  • This study investigates the gaps between ideal and actual corporate social responsibility (CSR) by comparing levels of CSR perceptions and examining the relationship differences between CSR perception, perceived quality, and affective trust from a consumer perspective. Data from 315 adult samples were collected through a nationwide online survey. In order to compare ideal and actual CSR, the study employed the approach of latent means analysis (LMA) and multi-group comparisons within the framework of a structural equation modeling (SEM). The result of latent means comparison showed significant differences of perceptions on fashion CSR across ideal and actual contexts. Only actual economic CSR was evaluated higher than in the ideal context and the effect size of inter-management CSR was the largest among seven domains. Multi-group SEM revealed a significant discrepancy between ideal and actual CSR structural models that exhibited relationships of CSR perception, perceived quality, and affective trust. The paths from internal management and ethical CSR to perceived quality and from economic and philanthropy CSR to affective trust were different across ideal and actual contexts. Implying the understanding of consumer CSR perceptions and the mediating role of perceived quality, this study suggests that marketers narrow the gap between ideal and actual CSR.

모바일 간편 결제 시스템의 신뢰형성에 대한 연구 -계층적 신뢰모형 개발을 중심으로- (A Study on Building Trust in Mobile Payment System -Focused on Developing Hierarchical Trust Model-)

  • 모바일 결제는 현금 및 신용카드에 대한 대안으로서, 전세계적으로 크게 주목받고 있다. 최근에는 모바일 기기를 통해 결제 서비스를 제공하는 핀테크가 이슈가 되고 있지만, 국내에서는 아직 모바일 간편 결제 시스템이 널리 이용되지는 않고 있다. 모바일 간편 결제 시스템의 활성화를 위해서는 시스템에 대한 신뢰 형성이 매우 중요한 요소이기 때문에 다차원적인 신뢰요인을 분석하기 위해 계층적 신뢰모형을 개발하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 모바일 간편 결제 시스템의 전반적 신뢰에 영향을 미치는 신뢰 요인을 살펴보기 위해 설문을 진행하였고, 연구 결과 인지적 신뢰, 감성적 신뢰, 시스템 품질에 대한 신뢰가 전반적 신뢰에 영향을 미치고, 전반적 신뢰는 지속사용의도에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다.

의류매장에서 판매자의 감성 및 사회 네트워크가 신뢰와 영업성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Seller's Emotional Index and Social Network on Sales Performance in Clothing Shop)

  • 본 연구는 감성지능이론, 사회적 관계이론에 기반을 두고, 의류매장에서 판매자의 감성지능, 사회 네트워크, 그리고 고객에 대한 신뢰가 영업성과에 미치는 영향을 계량적으로 탐색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 의류매장에서 판매원의 감성지능이 높을수록 고객에 대한 지식기반인 인지적 신뢰와 감정기반인 감성적 신뢰가 높아져, 고객에 대한 인지적 신뢰는 판매원의 영업성과를 향상시키고 있지만, 고객에 대한 감성적 신뢰는 영업성과에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 판매원의 감성지능이 높을수록 판매원과 고객 간 강한 사회 네트워크를 형성하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 의류매장의 판매원과 고객간 사회 네트워크는 인지적 신뢰와 감성적 신뢰에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대했지만, 인지적 신뢰에는 부정적 영향을 미치고, 감성적 신뢰에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 분석결과를 기반으로 의류 영업매장 관리자에게 필요한 매장 판매원의 감성지능 향상을 위한 각종 교육 훈련이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

의류기업의 협력업체에 대한 신뢰와 몰입이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Trust and Commitment on Firm Performance in Apparel Manufacturer-Contractor Relationships)

  • This study examines the effects of trust and commitment on firm performance in the apparel manufacturer-contractor relationships. A total of 92 apparel manufactures participated in the study. Factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and multiple regression analysis were conducted for the statistical analysis. Two factors of trust were identified: credibility and benevolence. Two factors of commitment were identified: affective commitment and calculative commitment. Three factors of firm performance were identified: customer service performance, finance performance, and product performance. The credibility of the apparel manufacture in a contractor had a significant positive effect on the affective commitment of an apparel manufacturer and on the calculative commitment in a contractor. Meanwhile, the benevolence of the apparel manufacture on a contractor had a significant positive effect on the affective commitment of an apparel manufacturer on a contractor. The credibility of the apparel manufacture on a contractor was positively related to customer service performance, finance performance, and product performance. The benevolence of the apparel manufacture on a contractor was positively related to customer service performance and finance performance of an apparel manufacture. The affective commitment of the apparel manufacture in a contractor was positively related to service performance. The calculative commitment of the apparel manufacture on a contractor was positively related to finance performance and to the product performance of an apparel manufacture. The results of this study provides practical guidelines toward exchange partners of apparel manufacturers as to how to facilitate from performance in apparel manufacturer-contractor relationships.
