제품의 조형요소가 사용자-인터페이스 디자인에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Influence of asethetic attributes on user interface design)

  • The objective of the study is to investigate the influence of aesthetic attributes on user interface design. Theories of aesthetics are first studied from which aesthetic attributes are defined as information sources. Representation of a product is viewed as a combination of aesthetic attributes, based on a hypothesis that each attribute has a certain influence on the performance in terms of user interface. An experiment was conducted to support the hypothesis. Various combinations of aesthetic attributes of a microwave oven were generated from the orthogonal array of a conjoint analysis. Subjects perfomed on a computer two types of tasks, each of which simulated a combination of attributes. Reaction time was evaluated as a performance measure for the conjoint analysis to find out how much influence each attribute has on the performance. A computer program, UISA(User interface Simulation system of Aesthetic attributes0, was developed and used for simulation. Findings on the influences of aesthetic attributes were summarized.

  • In this paper, we propose the ergonomics design method in shape design applicable which considers the user interface for railroad. This study focuses on ergonomics design and sensibility engineering design, user interface, which should be considered from the conceptual design stage of the rolling. Human's sensitivity and User Interface of railroad investigated ergonomics studies of several type. The sensibility engineering design made approach of user center design in railroad design. New design railroad to satisfaction passenger's various desire, to safety and convenient through high technology, to sufficient passenger's aesthetic sense. Therefore, we have application to properly of ergonomics design element in railroad design. we expert visual design and user interface help greatly in excellent railroad design.

감성공학의 개념과 연구 및 응용 방법 (Sensibility Ergonomics : Needs, Concepts, Methods and Applications)

  • History of the Sensibility Ergonomics is explained. Concepts, definition, and research methods on the human sensibility are proposed for systematic applications of human sensibility studies to product and environment developments. Sensibility Ergonomics was born in socio-technological environments where consumers required aesthetic and satisfactory products in addition to useful and usable ones, and manufactures were trying to develop consumer-oriented, user-friendly products. Sensibility Ergonomics is defined as "multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary processes for developing products and environment as usable, comfortable and satisfactory with the information on human sensibility." Human sensibility is functionally defined as "feelings generated when perceived sensory and information stimuli are reflected from memory which has been accumulated through personal experiences." Human sensibility is affected by at least three factors: personal, social, and cultural. Consumers evaluate products in three aspects : functional, sensorial, and cultural sensibilities. Human sensibility is personal, dynamic, and ambiguous. It is generated reflectively and intuitively against external stimuli. No Physiological responses are accompanied, and one cannot control his/her sensibility. However, the sensibility affects the decision making or behavior of the person. To understand the human sensibility many inter-disciplinary methods should be used instead of one-variable approach. Micro-scopic studies such as Questionnaire, interview, behavioral analysis, and psychophysiological experiments can be performed. In addition, social and cultural studies are essential to understand an individual's sensibility. Results of sensibility studies can be applied to setup new interactions between human and machine through sensible(or affective) human-machine (computer) interfaces. Human-oriented and user-friendly products can be made with the information on human sensibility.

시각적 공간분할로 본 Dart 위치의 조형적 설계 (The plastic design of dart location from the viewpoint of visual-spatial division)

  • To study the body trunk basic to Clothing construction, and study the peculiarities of visual spatial division, necessary items are measured indirectly from 216 unmarried women from 19 to 24 years old by a photographic net-work method. In so doing, the problem of Fashion Design in establishing the location of Darts for Basic Dress is not considered. The following results are obtained. 1) Indirect measuring method, is obtained approximate to actual size, with an error of .+-. 2.8cm. 2) In the modeling plan of Dart location viewed from the visual-spatial division in Basic Dress, it is concluded that Darts are to be placed at the point of 1/3k+1/5k form the waist. From the aesthetic point of wiew, it is more appealling for darts to be placed at the point of 6cm .+-. 0.6cm right or left of center. 3) From direct measurement dart location can be set based on bust point width, and from indirect measurement, dart location can be set based on waist width.

음악의 시각화에 의한 의상디자인 연구 - 리듬감의 표현을 중심으로 - (A Study on Dress Design through the Visualization of Music - Focused on the expression of rhythmic sense -)

  • This study measured and analyzed musical sense objectively, and visualized it to express visual effects as if watching music with the eye. For the visualization of music, we examined the concept of synesthesia and the correlation between hearing and seeing, and reviewed theoretical grounds and a number of cases necessary in reproducing musical sense visually based on synesthetic expression. Furthermore, we studied the visual elements and associated colors of rhythm to prove that visual conception of music through various approaches enable a transitional approach to aesthetic exploration and interpretation. The conclusions drawn from this research are as follows. First, classic music selected for visualization had musical characteristics highly correlated with dress design. Second, basic formative elements suggested as materials of visualization in this study were suitable in their form for expressing the rhythmic sense of music and, because they started from the most basic form, they were effective in extracting design elements. Third, when the result of the questionnaire survey, which was focused on the visualization of the rhythmic sense of the five pieces of classic music, was analyzed from the aspect of sensibility ergonomics, design elements of each piece of music were obtained in an objective and scientific way. Fourth, it was confirmed that common concepts could be derived from intangible elements such as forms and sounds observed in the rhythmic sense of music obtained from the result of the questionnaire survey. Fifth, works were made based on the results of this study and, according to the result, musical images can express sense through dress design and obtain visual effects as if watching music with the eye. Dress desist through the visualization of music in this study was an attempt to suggest that the language of music can be expressed in dress design, a visual formative language, based on synesthetic expression. Through this attempt, we confirmed the infinity of music as motives of dress design and suggested a method of aesthetic expression demanded in contemporary society that is pursuing aesthetic values.

필기구 디자인의 인간공학적 제요소와 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Ergonomic features and Their Improvements in Pen Design)

  • 필기구는 그 구조와 사용특성상 여타 제품과는 다른 특징을 많이 띠는 제품이다. 즉, 다양한 종류의 필기구라 할지라도 대체로 공통적인 구조나 부품으로 구성된 경우가 많다. 또한 제품 전체가 항상 손에 잡혀져 필기가 이루어진다는 점에서 인체공학적인 디자인이 필수적인 제품이다. 소비자들이 필기구를 고르는 데 있어 가장 중요하게 여기는 요소가 필기감이라는 것을 감안하면, 스타일링 위주의 디자인을 행하기 보다 필기감 향상에 영향을 주는 요소 중에서도 디자인이 기여할 수 있는 인간공학적인 개선이 매우 유효한 개선 방법이 된다고 할 수 있다. 현재까지도 인간과 일의 이해를 바탕으로한 인간공학 (Ergonomics)적 접근이나 필기구를 쥐었을 때의 편안함 등에 대한 문제해결은 부족한 면이 적지 않으며, 인간과 일의 관계에 의해 인간사회는 유지되며 독특한 문화를 형성한다는 근본적인 인식을 바탕으로 필기구 디자인은 문화적인 차원에서의 인간공학적 접근을 시도해야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 다양한 필기구의 인간공학적 디자인 크라이테리어를 재정립하고, 실제 실험을 통하여 필기구가 가져야하는 기본적인 제원에 대하여 정리하여 향후 필기구 개발에 기초자료로 쓰기 위한 시도를 하였다. 이러한 연구는 필기구 개발의 통합적 전개, 즉 동시공학적 개발을 위한 기초자료로서 나 각 부품별 모듈 시스템을 통한 모델 다각화 전략의 초석이 되는 데이터베이스 개발에도 효과적으로 응용될 수 있다.

  • Reaching up the present from the past, the design was reflected in our life, thereby having brought about great development in the aesthetic harmony or functional part. In the present era, it is advancing in order to seek for the better direction without being satisfied with formativeness. What comes to represent it is UX design, namely, user-experience design. If a user has confusion in using product or environmental facilities, or if a user needs to utilize by analyzing function, this cannot help being inconvenient. Only what a user's behavior is caused by which the cognitive and sensitive attributes interact without inconvenience can be said to be design for a user. Given explaining easily, UX implies to design and develop the designed product or space from the position of a client who uses. Also, it also implies to offer service of being satisfied. For one example, a work can be said that distributes logo to the upper part of web site. That is because of allowing client to be much confused if logo is distributed to the different position. The designed web site in consideration of user's position is developed much now. However, it is the real situation of being still much insufficient in the public facilities that have UX characteristics amid the living environment. There is great interest in UX of the public facilities. However, there are many cases of facing mostly for the first time. The understanding level is thought to be much different. This study examines about a concept of UX design, and about UX design, which considered from the user's position, and analyzes a case. Thus, the aim is to suggest good directivity in designing by efficiently approaching UX that can be difficult theoretically.

Design of Illuminating Car Seats based on Woven Fabric of Optical Fiber

  • In recent days, according as ergonomics and aesthetic engineering are important factors in the product market, there is a demand to develop automobile seat and interior designs which are focused on sensitive elements such as aesthetic and comfort features in order to satisfy the sensitive needs of consumers. To meet such demands, car seats are turning into functional and sensitive products that reflect elements of function and entertainment. According to such trends, this research is aimed to develop the illuminating car seat fabric that serve such functions as recognizing and reacting to car environments, which includes sensing over-speed, open doors, and unfastened safety belts through the illuminating car seat fabrics by optical fiber. For this purpose, basic physical properties of optical fiber are analyzed, appropriate weaving and etching technologies are applied, and the woven fabric of optical fiber for car seats are illuminating depend upon car environments. Moreover, the applicable woven fabric of optical fiber is deduced after evaluating the physical properties (such as tensile strength, heatproof, anti-fouling, washable and combustible traits) for the appropriateness of applying the woven fabric of optical fiber to car seats. For this purpose, the woven fabric of optical fiber is covered according to car seat processes; the optical fiber applied to seats is composed that it may be connected to one end of the connector linked to a LED so that it may perform functions like sensing over-speed, open doors, and unfastened safety belts; the sensed signals are transmitted to the control part, and luminescent signals are transmitted to LED.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the distinctive characterics HYBRID, strictly defined, an offspring that is a cross between different species, genera, or, in rare cases, families, More loosely defined, a hybrid can also be a cross between parents of different subspecies or varieties of a species. Hybrid varieties of plants and animals are of economic value because the hybrid is nearly always more vigorous, larger, and more fertile than either of its parents. Plant and animal hybrids may arise spontaneously in nature or may be produced intentionally by man. Forward-looking fashion explores progress. Adjusting to a world that has integrated genetics and its mutations, the new silhouette seems without references, as if born from a spontaneous generation. A slightly bizarre composite, asymmetrical, discreetly technological aesthetic, it draws on the latest technological details. the pursuit of performance and ergonomics, yet also of comfort and amusement that takes into account the body and its articulations, generates strange garments. Inspired by medical protheses. Focos on fabric touches, their weightiness and surface effects obtained with silicone, rubber or wax. in a range that highlights yellows but can also contrast with colder, slightly surgical hues, the hybrid woman doesn't necessarily want to stand out.

3차원 시뮬레이션을 활용한 가로수종별 이미지 및 선호도 분석 - 대구광역시 동대구로를 대상으로 - (Sensibility Image and Preference Analysis of Street Tree Species using 3D Simulation - Focused on Tongdaeguro in Daegu Metropolitan City -)

  • 본 연구에서는 도로경관에서 중요한 요소인 가로수에 대한 감성적 이미지를 평가해보기 위하여 3차원 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 수종 계절별 경관이미지를 제작하였다. 대상지는 대구광역시 수성구에 위치한 동대구로로 설정하였으며, 평가 수종은 개잎갈나무, 메타세콰이어, 튜울립나무, 느티나무로 선정하였다. 제작된 이미지를 바탕으로 설문을 실시한 결과, 여름경관에서는 느티나무의 선호도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 가을 및 겨울경관에서는 메타세콰이어의 선호도가 높게 분석되었다. 감성적 평가요인을 도출하기 위하여 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 심미적 요인, 인지적 요인, 개성적 요인, 자연적 요인, 공간적 요인이 도출되었으며, 선호도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인은 모든 계절에서 공통적으로 심미적 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 메타세콰이어의 경우 겨울경관에서 다른 수종에 비해 선호도 및 긍정적 의미의 감성이미지가 높게 평가되었으며, 심미적 요인의 감소가 다른 수종에 비해 적은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 수종의 종류 및 계절변화에 따른 감성이미지의 정량적 평가를 통해 쾌적한 도로경관 조성을 위한 객관적 자료 제시 및 경관계획에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
