A Study on an Effective Process Strategy Model of Interactive Advertising in Smart Media

  • One of the typical characteristics of smart media is that it is interactive, which shows a different form and property from the existing mass media, and also changes the way users use it. This change requires a different system from the existing method in the advertising process strategic model for effective interactive advertising in smart media. We attempted to derive an effective smart media interactive advertising process strategic model by understanding the interactive advertising processin smart media that is expected to continue to grow asthe main market of the advertising market and identifying the constituent factors. To this end, We analyzed the preminiary research results of interactive advertising and organized expert panels for the Delphi method and reflected their opinions and evaluations. The components and factors of interactive advertising were found and the effective interactive advertising process strategy model in smart media was derived from this study.

The Internet Homepage Advertising Strategy of the Fashion Goods (패션제품의 인터넷 홈페이지 광고 전략에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to establish the strategy for Internet fashion homepage advertising that attracts consumers attention and discloses clothing brand to consumers continually. In this paper, the following subjects were set up: (a) to classify the structure and evaluation factors of the fashion homepage advertising, (b) to analyze the effect of demographic variables and clothing involvement of consumer on fashion homepage advertising structures and evaluation factors. A random sample of 553 people in the age group 16-34s living in Seoul and Kyungki region during March 2000 was selected from Internet users. SPSS package was used for data analysis. Frequency, Percentage, Factor analysis, ANOVA, Duncan test and regression analysis were applied. The results of this research were as follows: First, in the process of classifying the dimension of the fashion homepage advertising, homepage advertising structure was composed of 5 factors: interactive, amusing factor, professional information, fashion information and useful information. And homepage advertising evaluating factors were interesting, information and irritation. Second, it was found that clothing involvement influenced fashion homepage advertising. High involvement group preferred the fashion information factor of the homepage advertising structure and low involvement group was useful information factor of the homepage advertising structure. Both high and low involvement groups preferred interesting factor of the homepage advertising evaluation. Third, demographic variables also influenced fashion homepage advertising Females manifested greater interests in informative factor of homepage advertising than males. Findings from this study provide an insight into fashion homepage advertising strategy related to consumers clothing behavior.

  • The purpose of this study was to construct fashion banner advertising strategy. For this purpose, the following hypotheses were set up : (a) analyze the present state of the fashion banner advertising, (b) examine whether it is any difference of the fashion banner advertising by their demographic variables, media using groups, clothing involvement and brand loyalty. A sample of 553 people in the age group 16-34s living in Seoul were selected from internet users. The data were analysed with Frequency, Percentage, ANOVA. Duncan test by using SPSS Package. The results of this research were as follows : First, fashion banner advertising took the first step. there was small in number. Second, it was found that the attitude of fashion banner advertising had some difference depending on their demographic variables, media usage groups, clothing involvement and brand royalty. Female in lower age groups were greater interests in illustrated/inquisitive fashion banner advertising. And high involvement groups preferred the fashion banner advertising.

  • Cultural characteristics of a country can affect consumers' buying behaviors. So global companies should think about cultural characteristics of the country that they want do marketing activities. Especially it is very important in sports product marketing because it is closely related with cultural characteristics of the country. This study examines relations between cultural characteristics and advertising strategy for sports product among Korea, England and France. I used content analysis method for this study. I found that Korea and France have similar cultural characteristics and advertising strategy for sports product but England has different cultural characteristics and advertising strategy for sports product. sense of community effect to community identification and community loyalty. Satisfaction of need, Emotional advertising strategy is mostly used in Korea and France. But rational advertising strategy is mostly used in England.

  • Faced with various challenges given from internal or external, universities and colleges, about 300 in number, began to feel one another as their rival and recognized advertising marketing as a solution of unlimited competition and were in serious action for advertising. School advertising has suddenly increased in quantity, but falls in creative strategy of qualitative level behind corporate or product advertising. This study suggests effective creative strategy, based on comprehension of characteristics of school advertising and on analysis of creative as a strategy, of advertisements put by schools. School advertising demands the approach different from commercial dimension of corporate advertising, because schools are characteristic of public interests. Schools need to take positive creative strategy of image advertising instead of passive type of recruitment announcement. This effective and Positive creative strategy des not only Provide the chance to select schools for customers of school advertising which sets up applicants for admission as the first target audience, but also instills affirmative and positive image in potential customers of the future such as pupils of elementary or middle schools and ordinary people so that it may make effective communication possible

  • This study tries to find the possibility of differentiation strategy and looks into N+ advertising campaign of NAMSEOUL University that has been doing since 2011. N+ advertising campaign contains the meaning of educating leaders based on the foundation concept of NAMSEOUL University and develops consistent creativities through medium such as radio advertising, print advertising, on-line advertising and outdoor advertising. On the first of stage, the campaign develops the start and the meaning of N+ and organizes to get sympathy from target customers on the second stage. Nowadays, there are many competitions among universities to promote students. In this situation, the N+ advertising campaign of NAMSEOUL University is differentiate approach. It's also promotion for external publics to introduce the identity of University and effect for inducement of internal publics with pride and unity. Moreover, it suggests to universities what they have to consider.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the most efficient expression method by analyzing advertising expression method by 16 types of product in internet advertising. First of all, It made inquiries about expression method and attitude of internet advertising for this study and identified a conception, characteristics, and types of internet advertising through literature reviews about internet advertising. This study offered expression the korean alphabet, hangout about banners ads, sponsorship ads, interstitial ads and pop-up ads. This study analyzed advertising expression, advertising effectiveness and advertising attitude by 16 types of product in internet advertising. In conclusion, the marketers of internet advertising have to effort to make internet advertisements that suit their advertising purpose by using the right expression method of internet advertising because they know internet advertising are quite different the expression method, advertising effectiveness, and advertising attitude. And they have to convert negative attitude or medium size attitude of internet advertising into positive attitude in the future.

  • Recently, the majority of leading companies has a strong interest in SNS advertisement. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to classify lifestyle of SNS adopters in order to support establishing companies' SNS advertising strategy. According to the analysis, (1) SNS advertisement's attributes (Entertainment, Irritation and Credibility) are affecting the Advertising Value, similar to a Mobile advertisement, and (2) Major SNS advertisement's Advertising Value depends on the lifestyle. The results show that : (1) self-express lifestyle is affected by Irritation, and that (2) information collected lifestyle is affected by Entertainment.

Context-Aware Ad Contents Scheduling over DOOH Networks based on Factorization Machine

  • DOOH(Digital Out Of Home) advertising targets for reaching consumers through outdoor digital display medias. Traditionally, scheduling of advertisement contents over DOOH medias is usually done by operator's strategy, but an efficient ad scheduling strategy is not easy to find under various advertising contexts. In this paper, we present a context-aware factorization machine-based recommendation model for the scheduling under various advertising contexts, and provide analysis for understanding of the contexts' effects on advertising based on the recommendation model. Through simulation results on the dataset adapted from a real dataset of RecSys challenge 2015, it is shown that the proposed model and analysis based on the model will be effective for better scheduling of ad contents under advertising contexts over DOOH networks.

  • The emergence of social networks has led to the flourishing of a new golden era of branding, which is a challenge for companies due to the need for creative positioning of companies with an emphasis on building trust and loyalty to the brand. Consumers are becoming more demanding and due to a wide range of products in different markets, make demands that are more stringent on companies. The goal of this article was to study the main trends of branding and advertising on social networks to develop a new approach to brand promotion. Methodology. The quantitative and qualitative research design was used to determine the main trends in branding and advertising on social networks. The methodology included the following methods: 1) analysis of the relationship between brand value and brand content strategy, 2) content analysis of the content of companies in social networks on the example of 10 world-famous brands with the highest value. The results allowed forming the criteria of effective content and communication: simplicity of content and simplicity of communication, lack of direct advertising of products, emphasis on global socio-economic problems and social orientation, unobtrusive communication, content creativity, indirect information about the product or work, the history of the company's development through various tools. The main content strategies of brands are defined: storytelling strategy; strategy of informing about the history of the company's development; entertainment and information strategy; strategy of joint interaction with the audience through the involvement of wellknown influencers or users of products. The theoretical and practical value of the results is confirmed by the conceptualization of the main content strategies of world-famous brands, which are pioneers in new ways to build relationships with users through social networks. The research proposes to use a customer-oriented approach to brand promotion. This means studying consumer behavior and predicting possible changes in behavior, which determines the level of interaction with the brand, the content strategy of the brand, and its effectiveness.
