Chronic infection by hepatitis B virus (HBV) greatly increases the risk for liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The outcome of HBV infection is shaped by the complex interplay of the mode of transmission, host genetic factors, viral genotype, adaptive mutations, and environmental factors. The pregenomic RNA transcription of HBV for their replication is regulated by the core promoter activation. Core promoter mutations have been the reason for acute liver failure and are associated with HCC development. We obtained HBV genes from a patient in Myanmar who was infected with HBV and identified gene variations in the core promoter region. For measuring the relative transactivation activity of the core promoter, we prepared the core-promoter reporter construct. Among the gene variations of the core promoter, the mutations of C1731T and G1806A were associated with increase in the transactivation of the HBV core promoter. Through computer analysis for searching for a tentative transcription factor binding site, we showed that the mutations of C1713T and G1806A newly created C/EBPβ and XBP1-responsive elements of the core promoter, respectively. The ectopic expression of C/EBPβ largely increased the HBV core promoter containing the C1713T mutation and that of XBP1 activated the M95 promoter containing the G1806A mutation. Our efforts to treat and prevent HBV infections are hampered by the emergence of drug-resistant mutations and vaccine-escape mutations. Our results provide the biological properties and clinical significance of specific HBV core promoter mutations.

This thesis investigates the meaning of a performer's energy taking into an account of the full bodily engagement as the flow of energy and/or psychophysical readiness focusing specifically on the significance of qualitative bodily transformation. In this contemporary era, the dominance of performer training and its approaches to acting/training has very frequently meant that how to play a character in a textual based approach by emphasizing on interpreting and impersonating the role as real as possible. In this sense, as a performer trainer, from my observation and research findings shows that it is common for the term energy is not to be motivated by what a performer's body needs within a specific moment in specific performance which they are working on. To address the problematic issues, this thesis begins by interrogating the practical meaning of transformation with addressing the principle and process of movement by means of the flow of energy on stage. For a performer, inhabiting/integrating his/her body and mind as oneness and/or unity means s/he sincerely encounter, confront, and therefore listen to his/her body in here and now. Because since the performer's physical appearance completely defined his/her psychological state, no one can play either the past or the future in the moment. In this manner, an appropriate use of energy synonymous with the flow of energy correspondence with the given time and space in which the performer's body informs and initiates movement as necessary action. To be precise, the performer's bodily movement either visible or invisible in a sense of training and rehearsal is perceived as attaining or achieving psychophysical involvement as the full body engagement which enable to make the event happen in the right moment. Here, this thesis argues that the significance of a performer's inner intensity reminds us of the necessity of qualitative transformation on which the performer could discover his/her own mode of awareness as well as a way his/her body function in the given circumstance. From this point of view, this research finding would advocates that the performer's body maintains in the field of energy flow where his/her conscious effort and/or mindfulness disappear. The performer's movement is a manifestation of the whole bodily engagement by means of being as real in that moment rather than representing reality.
To adopt the development in the medical scenario IoT developed towards the advancement with the processing of a large amount of medical data defined as an Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). The vast range of collected medical data is stored in the cloud in the structured manner to process the collected healthcare data. However, it is difficult to handle the huge volume of the healthcare data so it is necessary to develop an appropriate scheme for the healthcare structured data. In this paper, a machine learning mode for processing the structured heath care data collected from the IoMT is suggested. To process the vast range of healthcare data, this paper proposed an MTGPLSTM model for the processing of the medical data. The proposed model integrates the linear regression model for the processing of healthcare information. With the developed model outlier model is implemented based on the FinTech model for the evaluation and prediction of the COVID-19 healthcare dataset collected from the IoMT. The proposed MTGPLSTM model comprises of the regression model to predict and evaluate the planning scheme for the prevention of the infection spreading. The developed model performance is evaluated based on the consideration of the different classifiers such as LR, SVR, RFR, LSTM and the proposed MTGPLSTM model and the different size of data as 1GB, 2GB and 3GB is mainly concerned. The comparative analysis expressed that the proposed MTGPLSTM model achieves ~4% reduced MAPE and RMSE value for the worldwide data; in case of china minimal MAPE value of 0.97 is achieved which is ~ 6% minimal than the existing classifier leads.

During reactor operation, the divertor must withstand unprecedented simultaneous high heat fluxes and high-energy neutron irradiation. The extremely severe service environment of the divertor imposes a huge challenge to the bonding quality of divertor joints, i.e., the joints must withstand thermal, mechanical and neutron loads, as well as cyclic mode of operation. In this paper, potassium-doped tungsten (KW) is selected as the plasma facing material (PFM), oxygen-free copper (OFC) as the interlayer, oxide dispersion strengthened copper (ODS-Cu) alloy as the heat sink material, and reduced activation ferritic/martensitic (RAFM) steel as the structural material. In this study, a vacuum brazing technology is proposed and optimized to bond Cu and ODS-Cu alloy with the silver-free brazing material CuSnTi. The most appropriate brazing parameters are a brazing temperature of 940 ℃ and a holding time of 15 min. High-quality bonding interfaces have been successfully obtained by vacuum brazing technology, and the average shear strength of the as-obtained KW/Cu and ODS-Cu alloy joints is ~268 MPa. And a fabrication route for manufacturing the flat-type divertor target based on brazing technology is set. For evaluating the reliability of the fabrication technologies under the reactor relevant condition, the high heat flux test at 20 MW/m2 for the as-manufactured flat-type KW/Cu/ODS-Cu/RAFM mockup is carried out by using the Electron-beam Material testing Scenario (EMS-60) with water cooling. This paper reports the improved vacuum brazing technology to connect Cu to ODS-Cu alloy and summarizes the production route, high heat flux (HHF) test, the pre and post non-destructive examination, and the surface results of the flat-type KW/Cu/ODS-Cu/RAFM mockup after the HHF test. The test results demonstrate that the mockup manufactured according to the fabrication route still have structural and interfacial integrity under cyclic high heat loads.
Purpose: Gallium-68 (68Ga) is increasingly used in nuclear medicine imaging for various conditions such as lymphoma and neuroendocrine tumors by labeling tracers like Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) and DOTA-TOC. However, compared to Fluorine-18 (18F) used in conventional nuclear medicine imaging, 68Ga has lower spatial resolution and relatively higher Signal to Background Ratio (SBR). Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the optimized parameters and reconstruction methods for PET/CT imaging using the 68Ga radiotracer through model-based image evaluation. Materials and Methods: Based on clinical images of 68Ga-PSMA PET/CT, a NEMA/IEC 2008 PET phantom model was prepared with a Hot vs Background (H/B) ratio of 10:1. Images were acquired for 9 minutes in list mode using DMIDR (GE, Milwaukee WI, USA). Subsequently, reconstructions were performed for 1 to 8 minutes using OS-EM (Ordered Subset Expectation Maximization) + TOF (Time of Flight) + Sharp IR (VPFX-S), and BSREM (Block Sequential Regularized Expectation Maximization) + TOF + Sharp IR (QCFX-S-400), followed by comparative evaluation. Based on the previous experimental results, images were reconstructed for BSREM + TOF + Sharp IR / 2 minutes (QCFX-S-2min) with varying β-strength values from 100 to 700. The image quality was evaluated using AMIDE (freeware, Ver.1.0.1) and Advanced Workstation (GE, USA). Results: Images reconstructed with QCFX-S-400 showed relatively higher values for SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio), CNR (Contrast to Noise Ratio), count, RC (Recovery Coefficient), and SUV (Standardized Uptake Value) compared to VPFX-S. SNR, CNR, and SUV exhibited the highest values at 2 minutes/bed acquisition time. RC showed the highest values for a 10 mm sphere at 2 minutes/bed acquisition time. For small spheres of 10 mm and 13 mm, an inverse relationship between β-strength increase and count was observed. SNR and CNR peaked at β-strength 400 and then decreased, while SUV and RC exhibited a normal distribution based on sphere size for β-strength values of 400 and above. Conclusion: Based on the experiments, PET/CT imaging using the 68Ga radiotracer yielded the most favorable quantitative and qualitative results with a 2 minutes/bed acquisition time and BSREM reconstruction, particularly when applying β-strength 400. The application of BSREM can enhance accurate quantification and image quality in 68Ga PET/CT imaging, and an optimization process tailored to each institution's imaging objectives appears necessary.
$\underline{Purpose}$: We evaluated retrospectively the outcome of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer patients treated with definitive radiotherapy to find out prognostic factros affecting survival. $\underline{Materials\;and\;Methods}$: 216 cases of stage IIIB non-small cell lung cancer were with treated radiotherapy at our Hospital between 1991 to 2002 and reviewed retrospectively. Cases were classified by mode of treatment and response to treatment. Patients showing complete response or partial response to treatment were included in the "response group", while those showing stable or progressive cancer were included in the "non-response group". $\underline{Results}$: 30 patients completed the planned radiotherapy treatments and 39 patients completed combined treatments or chemoradiotherapy. Median survival was 4.6 months for patients treated with radiotherapy and 9.9 months for those undergoing combined radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Survival rates for the first year were 13.3% with radiotherapy and 35.9% with chemoradiotherapy. In the second year, 3.3% of the radiotherapy patients survived and 20.5% of the patients receiving chemoradiotherapy survived. By the third year, 15.4% of the patients receiving the combined treatments survived. None of the patients treated with radiotherapy alone lived to the third year, however. Overall survival was significantly different between the radiotherapy patients and the combined chemoradiotherapy patients (p<0.001). In the response group, median survival was 7.2 months with radiotherapy and 16.5 months with combined therapy. In the non-response group, median survival was 4.4 months with radiotherapy and 6.7 months with combined treatments. Severe acute complications (grade 3) occurred in 2 cases using radiotherapy, and in 7 cases using combined therapy. $\underline{Conclusion}$: When the patients with stage IIIB non-small cell lung cancer received chemoradiotherapy, treatment response rate and overall survival was greater than with radiation alone.
Travel choice behavior is affected by real-time traffic information. Recently, in urban area, real-time traffic information is provided by several instruments such as transportation broadcasting, internet PC network and variable message sign, etc. Furthermore, it has been increasing for urban travelers to use real-time traffic information provided by several instruments. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of advanced traveler information on urban worker's travel choice behavior. Among several Advanced Traveler Information System(ATIS) employed in urban area. This study focuses on examining the effects of transportation broadcasting on urban worker's travel choice behavior. The inhibitory effect of sodium ion on the anaerobic degradation of food waste was studied by an anaerobic batch toxicity assay and inhibition model. The anaerobic degradation activity of food waste spiked with over $2g\;Na^+/L$ of sodium ion was severely inhibited at the initial stage of the exposure. The inhibition response of anaerobic microorganisms on the sodium ion estimated from the methane production was differed according to the concentration of sodium ion. The relative acclimation time(RAT) and methanation rate(RMR), defined as the ratios of initial lag time and maximum methane production rate of the sample spiked with sodium ion to the control. respectively, were used to evaluate the acclimation and inhibitory effects quantitatively on the anaerobic microorganisms. When sodium ion was increased from $2g\;Na^+/L$ to $20g\;Na^+/L$, the RAT was exponentially increased from 18.9 to 90. but the RMR was linearly decreased from 0.97 to 0.02. The effects of sodium ion for the maximum methanation rate, first order kinetic constant and ultimate methane production were well evaluated by a generalized nonlinear expression model. it could be described by the uncompetitive inhibition mode. The sodium ion concentration causing 50% inhibition of methanation activity was about $11g\;Na^+/L$, and the critical sodium ion beyond to compelete inhibition was 20 to $21g\;Na^+/L$. The presented results could be used to obtain the design or operation parameters of the anaerobic process treating food waste of high salt.

The purpose of this study was developed for the determination of tridemorph in agricultural commodities samples. Tridemorph residues in samples were extracted with acetonitrile, partitioned with saline water, and then purified using and aminopropyl ($NH_2$) SPE catridge. The purified samples were quantified and confirmed via liquid chromatograph-tandem mass spectrometer (LC-MS/MS) in positive ion mode using multiple reaction monitoring (MRM). Matrix-matched calibration curves were linear over the calibration ranges (0.005~2.5 ng) into a blank extract with $r^2$ > 0.999. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.001 and 0.005 mg/kg, respectively. The average recovery ranged between 75.9% and 103.7% at different concentration levels (LOQ, 10 LOQ, 50 LOQ, n = 5) with relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 9.0%. An interlaboratory study was conducted to validate the method by Korea Advanced Food Research Institute. The average recovery ranged between 87.0% and 109.2% at different concentration levels (LOQ, $10{\times}LOQ$, $50{\times}LOQ$, n = 5) with relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 8.0%. All values were consistent with the criteria ranges requested in the Codex guidelines (CAC/GL40, 2003) and Food Safety Evaluation Department guidelines (2016). The results prove that the developed analytical methods is accurate, effective and sensitive for tridemorph determination.

This work proposes a skinny-type 10b 50MS/s 0.13um CMOS three-step pipeline ADC for CIS applications. Analog circuits for CIS applications commonly employ a high supply voltage to acquire a sufficiently acceptable dynamic range, while digital circuits use a low supply voltage to minimize power consumption. The proposed ADC converts analog signals in a wide-swing range to low voltage-based digital data using both of the two supply voltages. An op-amp sharing technique employed in residue amplifiers properly controls currents depending on the amplification mode of each pipeline stage, optimizes the performance of op-amps, and improves the power efficiency. In three FLASH ADCs, the number of input stages are reduced in half by the interpolation technique while each comparator consists of only a latch with low kick-back noise based on pull-down switches to separate the input nodes and output nodes. Reference circuits achieve a required settling time only with on-chip low-power drivers and digital correction logic has two kinds of level shifter depending on signal-voltage levels to be processed. The prototype ADC in a 0.13um CMOS to support 0.35um thick-gate-oxide transistors demonstrates the measured DNL and INL within 0.42LSB and 1.19LSB, respectively. The ADC shows a maximum SNDR of 55.4dB and a maximum SFDR of 68.7dB at 50MS/s, respectively. The ADC with an active die area of 0.53$mm^2$ consumes 15.6mW at 50MS/s with an analog voltage of 2.0V and two digital voltages of 2.8V ($=D_H$) and 1.2V ($=D_L$).
