Objective: This study aimed to explore the readability and comprehensibility of the drug information on a patient leaflet for the senior by employing performance-based user-testing. Methods: We included 36 elderly (65 years old or older) as the senior group (intervention group) and 36 adults (40~59 years old) as the adult group (control). We developed a questionnaire to test if participants could access to drug information. After completing a questionnaire, the participant was interviewed about their understanding over the patient leaflet. We performed t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test or Fisher's exact test to examine differences between two groups in primary outcomes. Results: The senior were less likely able to find information (78%) than the adult (91%); they were much less likely able to understand information (42%) than the adult (69%). While we found differences between the ability of finding and understanding drug information in both groups, the senior group had greater difficulties in understanding all kinds of drug information. They had significant difficulties to remember information after reading the patient leaflet and frequently failed to find proper information even though they were allowed to access freely to the leaflet during interviewing. Conclusion: To secure safe and effective use of drugs for the senior, it is necessary to develop drug leaflets for the senior.

The purpose of this study is presentation of architectural planning direction and program space of youth training center. For this goal, surveyed the characteristics of youth and local residents who the main user of the center Through this survey, it could be accommodated about the needs of youth training facilities and seek user-centered planning methodologies. To this end, this study conducted a survey of users of youth training facilities in Cheonan-si to suggest the importance of architectural planning direction and space to reflect users' needs and regional characteristics. In the process, this study conducted a consciousness survey and importance influence factors assessment focused on commonalities and differences between youth and adult groups, which are the main user groups of youth training facilities. It is believed that the results of consciousness survey and importance influence factors assessment will be used as basic data to select the scale and programs of space that reflect the needs of users when planning youth facilities and related facilities in the future.

Purpose: This study was conducted to develop nursing outcome indicators based on nursing activities done for stroke patients. Method: focus group meeting and delphi technique, which consisted of clinical nurse experts, neurologist, and nursing professors. CVI(Index of Content Validity) and user validity test was performed. Result: 12 nursing diagnoses, 29 nursing interventions and nursing outcomes were identified. The former were from NIC and the latter were developed according to nursing interventions. They were verified by experts in focus group. 199 nursing activities were identified, 133 nursing outcome indicators were developed. In user validity, usefulness and usability were tested. Conclusion: This systemic approach of measuring nursing outcomes verified nurses' positive effects in changing patients health status and nursing contributions in the health care system as a profession.

The purpose of this study is to provide for the basic data useful to the effective production and marketing of the foundation garment befitting adult women's shapes and preferences, and thereby, help them improve their apparel life. For this purpose, 563 Korean women aged between 20-59 were sampled to survey their recognition and actual wearing condition of foundation garments and positively identify the factors affecting the practices and thereupon, determine the correlations among them by age group. The raw data of this study is processed by SPSS Win(10.1) and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, $x^2$-test, ANOVA, Duncan-test. The most of adult women were aware of their foundation size and the absolute majority of them wore brassieres, while a half of them used the girdles. The adult women had 5.7 Brassieres and 2.2 Girdles. The use of the foundation depended much on user's age or seasons. They had begun to wear Brassieres at their age of 15 on an average and Girdle around their age of 19 depending their individual needs. It has been found through this study that adult women's is actual wearing condition of foundation garments differ by age group, which may well suggest that foundation production need to consideration this age-wise practices when setting up their foundation production and marketing strategies.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess the characteristics of the user of complementary alternative therapies(CAT) and to identify the important predictive factors associated with them. Method: This study included 142 patients attending outpatient rheumatology clinics of D Hospital in Busan between July and August in 2001. The multiple logistic regression model was developed to estimate the likelihood of user or nonuser of CAT. Result: The duration of illness and chance score of health locus of control were found to be significant factors through the estimated coefficients of using CAT. Duration of illness is longer and chance score of health locus of control is higher in patients who have used CAT in past than that of nonuser. When the model performance was evaluated by comparing the observed outcome with predicted outcome, the model correctly identified 95% of user of CAT and 31% of nonuser. Conclusion: In this survey, duration of illness and chance score of health locus of control are found to be significant factors in predicting utilization of CAT. Nurses who care for rheumatoid arthritis patients should take consideration into health locus of control in planning health education programs.

본 연구의 목적은 음성 인터페이스(Voice User Interface, VUI)를 이루는 설계변수 중 사용자에게 긍정적인 감성을 유발하는 설계변수를 확인하는 것이다. 특히, 사용자의 성별과 설계변수의 조절 효과를 분석하여 VUI와 상호작용하는 동안 사용자가 만족할 수 있는 적절한 설계변수 수준을 찾아보고자 하였다. 선행연구를 통해 VUI에 사용되는 음성설계변수 중에서 사용자의 감성 만족도에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 설계변수 6가지를 도출하였다. 설계변수는 수준을 조절할 수 있도록 Wizard of OZ를 활용하여 VUI 시스템을 구현하였고, 6가지 설계변수의 수준을 조합하여 사용자와 음성으로 대화를 할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 실험에 참여한 사용자는 총 80명으로, 남/여 성비를 고려하여 각 40명씩 모집하였다. 사용자는 VUI와 주어진 임무에 대한 정답을 알아내기 위해 자연스러운 대화를 진행하며, 그동안의 얼굴표정 변화에 대한 이미지 데이터를 수집 및 표정 분석 소프트웨어를 통해 Valence 점수로 변환하였다. Valence 데이터를 기반으로 빈도 및 카이제곱 분석을 통해 확인한 결과, 사용자의 성별과 AI gender간의 조절효과가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이 결과는 VUI를 설계할 때 사용자의 성별 차이를 고려하는 것이 좋다는 것을 의미한다. 결론적으로, 남성 사용자의 경우 성인/남성/높은 톤의 음성, 여성 사용자의 경우 성인/여성/중간톤의 음성이 향후 만족스러운 인터랙션 구현을 위한 VUI 설계에 주요한 가이드라인인 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 향후 다양한 인적 요소를 고려하여 UX 관점에서 인간-AI 상호작용을 보다 섬세하게 분석할 수 있을 것이며, 표정을 통한 실시간 감성 측정을 위한 기초연구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study aimed to classify the hand types of adult males aged 20 to 69 years using three-dimensional measurement data from the 2020 8th Korean Anthropometric Survey, the latest measurement data from the National Institute of Standards and Technology Size Korea, and explore the characteristics of each type. Through this, I aimed to draw implications for the development of work gloves. The factors that make up an adult male's hand were categorized into hand and finger thickness factors, palm length factors, and finger length factors. Adult male hands were categorized into four types: small, thin hands and long fingers; thick, long fingers; medium, short hands and fingers; and large, thin, short fingers. The analysis showed that the younger the age, the more slender and long the hands and fingers, and as age increased, hands and fingers became shorter and thicker. Implications for the development of work gloves included the need for size segmentation based on the age of the work glove user, changes in the way glove dimensions are set based on hand length and hand circumference, and the need to segment gloves by the type of work. Hand typing in future research should be done according to occupational groups, and glove patterns should be developed for each type of work based on the results of this study.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual conditions of clothing of disabled adult men using wheelchair, to understand dissatisfactions and problems in wearing garment, and to construct basic data to development of the formal wear for wheelchair user. This study conducted survey of 162 men using wheelchair who regularly enjoy the sports for disabled people or who work in society. The results of this study are follows. The majority of wheelchair user tend to wear garment lying or seating. Therefore, they prefer garments that can be easily put on and off. They were dissatisfied mostly with the size of ready-made garment. More than 75% of the subjects tend to repair the purchased formal wear. Shoulder width and bust circumference are too small, jacket length, sleeve length, and slacks length are too big for disabled men using wheelchair. More than 93% subjects tend to prefer T-shirts, because of comfort and easiness to move. The men using wheelchair consider the function and the hygiene of fabric material for T-shirts as the important end.

근래에 와서 성인과 아동에 비해 공공도서관서비스의 혜택을 제대로 누리지 못하고 있는 청소년 이용자 군에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 특히 아동에서부터 성인으로 성장해 가는 발달과정에 있는 청소년들을 위하여 청소년들의 독특한 정보요구에 맞추어 서비스하도록 강조하고 있다. 이를 위해 청소년들의 요구조사가 실시되고 사회적으로 심각한 청소년문제 해결을 위해 공공도서관의 역할이 중요시되고 있다. 이에 따라 도서관계에서는 청소년서비스에 필요한 지침, 권고사항, 매뉴얼 등 기본사항을 제시하여 청소년서비스 개선에 도움을 주고 있다. 본 논문은 국내 공공도서관에서도 청소년서비스의 중요성을 인식하고 보다 체계적으로 청소년서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 미 도서관계에서 제시한 청소년서비스에 관한 기본사항을 소개하고 있다.

최근 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 초고속 인터넷, 케이블 TV 망 그리고 위성 망 등을 통해 실시간으로 전송되는 IPTV 서비스가 각광을 받고 있다. 그러나 다양한 매체를 통해 사용자에게 서비스를 제공하는 IPTV 서비스는 사용자 인증을 완벽하게 지원할 수 없는 문제가 있다. 본 논문은 IPTV 환경에서 청소년이 IPTV 콘텐츠를 제공받기 위해서 불법적으로 성인 인증정보를 IPTV 콘텐츠 서버에 전송하여 IPTV 서비스의 접근 허가를 부여받는 것을 예방하는 인증 모델을 제안한다. 제안 모델은 기존 IPTV 환경에서 수행하고 있는 단순 성인 인증 시스템의 단점을 극복하기 위해서 IPTV 콘텐츠 서버에 사용자의 등급 분류 체계를 갖추고 IPTV 콘텐츠 서버와 인증 서버의 데이터베이스에 저장된 사용자 인증 정보를 동기화하여 성인 인증 과정을 수행한다. 또한, 제안 모델은 이중 해쉬 체인 기법을 적용하여 IPTV 콘텐츠 관리자의 승인키를 청소년이 불법적으로 획득하더라도 관리자의 동의없이 콘텐츠를 불법적으로 다운로드 하지 못하도록 하고 있다.
