In this study, the design concept of engine for 4WD vehicle is established by the experimental modal analysis. First, the relationships between frame and power transmission system are considered. Second, the effect of additional system (Front propeller shaft and Exhaust system) on the power transmission system is evaluated. As a result, it is desirable that of frame and power transmission system is shifted by the additional system. This is cause by the moment of inertia of the additional system, because the center of gravity location of the additional system is far from that of the power transmission system.

In IEEE 802.11 wireless LANs, when a source node with low data rate occupies the channel resource for a long time, network performance degrades. In order to improve performance, the cooperative communication has been proposed. In the previous cooperative communication protocols, relay nodes deliver data packets only for a source node. In this paper, we propose an additional transmission scheme in which relay nodes select an additional source node based on several information and deliver data packets for the original source node and the selected additional source node. The proposed scheme improves performance and provides fairness among source nodes. Performance of the proposed scheme is investigated by simulation. Our results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the previous protocol in terms of fairness index and throughput.

본 논문에서는 하이브리드 망 환경에서 부가데이터 서비스를 제공하기 위해 Mobile MMT를 기반으로 하는 송수신 구조를 설계한다. Mobile MMT는 차세대 멀티미디어 전송 프로토콜인 MMT의 확장된 표준이다. MMT는 IP를 기반으로 방송 통신이 융합된 방송시스템에서 멀티미디어를 효율적으로 전송하며, 다양한 형태의 데이터 전송 및 양방향 서비스를 지원하기 위한 기술들을 정의한다. Mobile MMT는 기존 MMT 기술을 기반으로 모바일 망에 특화된 기능을 제공하기 위해 확장된 기능을 추가로 정의한다. 이를 이용하여 본 논문에서는 방송망을 통해 전달받은 콘텐츠와 관련된 부가데이터와 단말정보와 관련된 교통, 날씨, 여행자정보 등의 부가데이터를 수신받을 수 있는 부가데이터 서비스 시나리오와 부가데이터의 송수신 구조를 설계하고 제안한다.

This paper introduces the additional remote monitoring and remote setting functions needed to operate the distribution automation system effectively. we compare the additional functions with the old functions. The remote setting of minimum trip value of fault indicator is an example of additional function. It saves time and line-man's power. Also this paper describes the data transmission flow diagram for operation of distribution automation system using wireless communication method.

In Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) terrestrial digital television (DTV) systems, additional very low-rate data can be transmitted by modulating the amplitude and polarity of the transmitter identification (TxID) signal. Although the additional data transmission scheme offers reliable transmission and has a very large coverage area, it has a limitation on the data rate. In this paper, we propose a novel additional data transmission scheme based on the TxID sequences of the ATSC DTV system and Walsh modulation. The proposed scheme not only increases the data rate significantly, but also offers a virtually identical coverage area compared to a conventional scheme.

본 논문에서는 ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) 지상파 DTV (digital television) 방송 시스템에서 부가 데이터 전송률을 향상시키면서 비트 오율 (bit error rate) 성능을 개선하기 위한 다중 안테나 부가데이터 전송 방식을 제안한다. 제안된 다중 안테나 전송방식은 Alamouti 기법을 사용하여 단일 안테나 전송 방식에 비해 신호대 잡음비 이득을 얻는다. 또한, 제안하는 전송 방식은 기존의 ATSC 지상파 DTV 수신기와 역호환성을 가진다는 장점이 있다.

In this paper, the concept of sampling vectors is introduced, and used for a simple realization of DSSs(distributed sample scramblers). In DSSs, if the sampling times of the scrambler state samples are not identical to their transmission times, samples are delayedtransmitted to the descrambler. and in this case the DSSs need additional memory elements storing the samples and additional clocks for informing their transmission times. The concept of sampling vectors helps move the sampling times of delayed samples to their transmission times, thus eliminating the additional memory elements and clocks in the DSSs. In the paper, the conditions on the synchronization of the scrambler and descrambler are derived for the DSS employing sampling vectors,and demonstrations are given on their applicaitons to cell-based ATM DSSs.

본 논문에서는 무한히 넓은 백 플레인의 사각형 개구를 관통하는 길이가 다른 평행 2선 전송 선로에 대하여 백 플레인의 존재가 전송 선로에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 이론 해석에는 FDTD법을 사용하였으며, 길이가 다른 구조를 가지게 하는 부가 선로의 길이와 전송 선로의 간격 변화에 따른 반사 손실 및 삽입 손실 특성을 계산하여 백 플레인이 전송 선로에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 그 결과, 전송 선로의 간격이 좁은 경우에는 부하 측의 전송 선로가 안테나처럼 동작하여 삽입 이득 특성이 나타나고, 부가 선로의 길이가 길어지면 백 플레인에 의한 삽입 손실 특성이 현저히 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 반사 손실을 측정하고 수치 계산 결과와 비교하여 이론 해석의 타당성도 확인하였다.
