  • Very recently, by employing an addition theorem for the con-fluent hypergeometric function, Paris has obtained a Kummer-type trans-formation for a $_2F_2(x)$ hypergeometric function with general parameters in the form of a sum of $_2F_2(-x)$ functions. The aim of this note is to derive his result without using the addition theorem.

  • In this paper, we introduce Fuzzy Beppo Levi's Theorem in which we use the supremum instead of addition in the expression of Beppo Levi's Theorem. That holds under the conditions which are continuity of t-seminorm ┬and the fuzzy additivity of a fuzzy measure g.

  • It has been argued that as for the origin of the Pythagorean theorem, the theorem had already been discovered and proved before Pythagoras, and the historical records of ancient mathematics have confirmed various uses of this theorem. The purpose of this study is to examine the relevance of its name caused by Eurocentrism and the weakness of its use in Korean school mathematics and to seek improvements from a critical point of view. To this end, the Pythagorean theorem was reviewed from the perspectives of the history of mathematics and mathematics education. In addition, its name in relation to objective mathematical contents regardless of any specific civilization and its use as a starting point for teaching the theorem in school mathematics were suggested.

  • In this paper, a necessary and sufficient condition for lattice sampling theorem to hold for frame in subspaces of $L^2$(R) is established. In addition, we obtain the formula of lattice sampling function in frequency space. Furthermore, by discussing the parameters in Theorem 3.1, some corresponding corollaries are derived.

  • The aim of this paper, investigated of weighted space which contained the unbounded functions which is to be approximated by linear operators in terms some Well-known approximation tools such as the modulus of smoothness and K-functional. The characteristics of the identical theorem between modulus of smoothness and K-functional are consider. In addition to the establish the direct, converse and identical theorem by using some linear operators in terms modulus Ditzian-Totik.

  • The aim of this paper is to establish the well-known and very useful classical Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's theorem for the series $_3F_2$(1) by following a different method. In addition to this, two summation formulas closely related to the Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's theorem have also been obtained. The results established in this paper are further utilized to show how one can obtain certain known and useful hypergeometric identities for the series $_3F_2$(1) and $_4F_3(1)$ already available in the literature.

  • In this research paper, motivated by the extension of the Euler type I transformation obtained very recently by Rathie and Paris, the authors aim at presenting the extensions of Euler type II transformation. In addition to this, a natural extension of the classical Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's summation theorem for the series $_3F_2$ has been investigated. Two interesting applications of the newly obtained extension of classical Saalsch$\ddot{u}$tz's summation theorem are given.

  • In this study, we investigated whether the theorem is established even if we replace a 'square' element in the Euclidean proof of the Pythagorean theorem with different figures. At this time, we used different figures as equilateral, isosceles triangle, (mutant) a right triangle, a rectangle, a parallelogram, and any similar figures. Pythagorean theorem implies a relationship between the three sides of a right triangle. However, the procedure of Euclidean proof is discussed in relation between the areas of the square, which each edge is the length of each side of a right triangle. In this study, according to the attached figures, we found that the Pythagorean theorem appears in the following three cases, that is, the relationship between the sides, the relationship between the areas, and one case that do not appear in the previous two cases directly. In addition, we recognized the efficiency of Euclidean proof attached the square. This proving activity requires a mathematical process, and a generalization of this process is a good material that can experience the diversity and rigor at the same time.

  • The purpose of this paper is to provide two examples which prove that Cubiotti's theorem and Yao's one on the generalized quasi-variational inequality problem are independent of each other. In addition, we give another example which tells us that certain conditions are essential in Cubiotti's theorem and Yao's one.
