가족특성에 따른 새터민의 사회문화적 적응 (The Family Characteristics Affecting the Socio-Cultural Adjustment of North Korean Defectors)

  • As the number of North Koreans defectors entering South Korea with their family members increases, it becomes more important to explore the family characteristics that facilitate their adjustment. The data used in the present study was collected from a survey of 195 North Korean defectors. The aim of this study was to investigates how the structural and relational aspects of family influence the socio-cultural adjustment of North Korean defectors. The structural characteristics of family life included whether or not the defectors exited with their family members, whether they were living with family members, and whether they were living with family members under the age of 18. The relational characteristics included family cohesion and adaptability. The study results showed that living with young family members was negatively associated with the social activity restriction problems commonly perceived by North Korean defectors. Family cohesion was also negatively associated with the social activity restriction problems and positively associated with the social isolation problems. The results of this study also showed that family adaptability was not significantly associated with any socio-cultural adjustment problems.

  • This paper proposes an effective self-turning algorithm based on Artificial Neural Network (ANN) for fuzzy speed control of the indirect vector controlled induction motor. Indirect vector control method divides and controls stator current by the flux and the torque producing current so that the dynamic characteristic of induction motor may be superior. However, if motor parameter changes, the flux current and the torque producing one's coupling happens and deteriorates the dynamic characteristic. The fuzzy speed controller of an induction motor has the robustness over the effect of this parameter variation than a conventional PI speed controller in some degree. This paper improves its adaptability by adding the self-tuning mechanism to the fuzzy controller. For tracking the speed command, its membership functions are adjusted using ANN adaptation mechanism. This adaptability could be embodied by moving the center positions of the membership functions. Proposed self-tuning method has wide adaptability than existent fuzzy controller or PI controller and is proved robust about parameter variation through Matlab/Simulink simulation.

  • As society evolves, people are making more of an effort to learn more about human aspects, one of which is emotional intelligence, a topic on which education experts have traditionally concentrated. This is due to the fact that emotional intelligence has a significant impact on how people think and manage their emotions. On the other side, it promotes the development of expressive ability and aids people in better adapting to life. This study explores the relationship between communication skills, leadership skills, stress management, adaptability, and emotional intelligence of FPT University students to determine the factors that affect students' emotional intelligence. To survey 500 FPT University students, this study used a sample size of 500. Previous studies used a 5-point Likert scale to assess the four skill elements. According to the results, students who completed the survey showed adequate communication skills, leadership qualities, stress management, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence is influenced by communication skills, leadership abilities, stress management, and flexibility. This suggests that students who master these four skills have higher levels of emotional intelligence. The outcomes of this study reveal that students have been conscious of Emotional Intelligence since a young age. The affirmations in this research paper will benefit students and young people interested in enhancing complimentary soft skills that boost Emotional Intelligence.

Engineered Stretchability of Conformal Parylene Thin-film On-skin Electronics

  • Skin-compatible electronics have evolved to achieve both conformality and stretchability for stable contact with deformable biological skin. While existing research has largely concentrated on alternative materials, the potential of Parylene-based thin-film electrodes for stretchable on-skin applications remains relatively untapped. This study proposes an engineering strategy to achieve stretchability using the Parylene thin-film electrode. Unlike the conventional Parylene thin-film electrode, we introduce morphological adaptability via controlled microscale slits in the Parylene electrode structure. The slits-containing device enables unprecedented stretchability while maintaining critical electrical insulation properties during mechanical deformation. Finally, the demonstration on human skin shows the mechanical adaptability of these Parylene-based bioelectrodes while their electrical characteristics remain stable during various stretching conditions. Owing to the ultra-thinness of the Parylene coating, the wearable bioelectrode not only achieves stretchability but also conforms to the skin. Our findings broaden the practical use of Parylene thin-film bioelectrodes.

마늘 수확 기계화 기술의 지역 적응성 시험 (Field Test for Regional Adaptability Improvement of Garlic Harvesting Mechanization Technology)

  • Garlic is one of the major seasoned vegetables in Korea along with peppers and onions. Although it is a major cash crop, the aging population of farmers and rising labor and production costs are cited as the reasons for the decreasing production. Accordingly, it is necessary to introduce and spread garlic cultivation mechanization technology to reduce the input labor demand. In this study, conducted a field demonstration in Jeollanam-do using garlic harvesting machinery. In addition, it was intended to improve the mechanization rate of garlic harvesting by deriving factors that can apply to garlic harvesting machines in Jeollanam-do and investigating regional adaptability. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the harvesting performance of the garlic harvester and garlic collector in Jeollanam-do met the agricultural machine test standards. In addition, as a result of calculating the input effect of the mechanized work system compared to the conventional garlic harvesting work system, it was found that there was a labor-saving effect of 96.02%.

대학적응력 검사도구 척도 개발과 양호도 검증 (The Development of Scales on Rating College Students' Adaptability and the Analysis of Technical Quality)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 대학적응력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구성하고, 이를 진단하기 위한 대학적응력 척도 개발의 절차를 소개하며 검사도구의 양호도를 검증하였다. 이 도구는 3단계의 척도 추출 과정 및 6단계의 문항 추출 과정을 거쳐 제작하였다. 추출 결과, 학문적 통합성, 사회적 통합성, 정서적 안정성, 진로정체성, 학업여건 안정성, 교수와의 관계, 교육서비스 만족도, 대학교육 만족도 등 8개 척도, 142개 문항 구성을 통해 대학적응력을 측정하였다. 4개 대학 1,959명의 대학생을 대상으로 검사를 실시한 도구의 양호도 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문항내적 일관성 전체 신뢰도 계수 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$는 .965, 범위는 .742~.937로써 신뢰도가 매우 높다. 둘째, 개별 문항의 양호도를 평가하기 위하여 각 척도 및 하위요인별로 문항 점수와 총점 간 상관계수에 의한 문항 변별도를 구했으며, 평균은 .147~.841이다. 셋째, 확인적 요인분석에 따른 구인타당도 검증 결과, CFA모델의 RMSEA = .08~.09이고, 모든 부합도지수가 기준에 양호하게 부합함으로써 각 척도에 속하는 문항들이 측정하고자 하는 특성을 타당하게 측정하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 척도별 대학적응경향성과 중도탈락경향성 점수 차이에 기초한 공인타당도 검증 결과, 학업여건 안정성을 제외한 모든 척도에서 유의수준 .05수준에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있음이 확인되었다. 연구결과, 대학적응력 진단 도구는 대학생의 대학적응경향성과 중도탈락경향성을 타당하게 예측하는 도구로 확인되었다.

  • 본 연구는 사회복지 전공대학생들의 취업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는 것이다. 구조방정식을 통해 전체모형을 검증하고, 성별에 따른 집단 간의 차이가 유의미한 차이가 있는지 실증규명 하였다. 전공만족도, 진로적응성, 진로정체감, 고용가능성, 자아탄력성, 취업스트레스를 변인으로 사용 하였다. 광주지역 사회복지학과 246명의 대학생들을 연구대상으로 하였다. 분석은 구조방정식모형과 잠재평균분석을 활용 하였다. 첫째, 남성과 여성은 전공만족도, 진로적응성, 진로정체감, 고용가능성, 자아탄력성, 취업스트레스는 집단 간의 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 자아탄력성과 취업스트레스에 미치는 경로의 영향력은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 전공만족도, 진로적응성, 진로정체감, 고용가능성은 자아탄력성과 취업스트레스에 직접적인 영향력은 여성 집단에서만 유의미한 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 남성 보다 여성 집단이 자아탄력성과 취업스트레스에 보다 강한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 넷째, 사회복지 전공대학생의 전공만족도, 진로적응성, 진로정체감, 고용가능성, 자아탄력성이 취업스트레스에 미치는 방식은 남녀집단에서 차이가 있었다. 여성 집단이 남성 집단보다 자아탄력성, 전공만족도, 진로정체감, 취업스트레스에 영향력을 미치고 있었다.

Transfer of Marketing Knowledge within Multinational Corporations and Its Impact on Performance: Moderating Effects of Absorptive Capacity, Socialization, and Local Knowledge

  • Knowledge1 is considered to be a key element of understanding how organizations gain and sustain competitive advantages. But very few firms are capable of creating the requisite knowledge and thus, firms should acquire and exploit new knowledge through knowledge transfer processes. The empirical part of this study involves examining relationships among adaptability of knowledge and knowledge transfer and marketing performance and testing the moderating roles of absorptive capacity, socialization and local marketing knowledge. This study is organized as follows: (1) Previous literature on knowledge, knowledge transfer and absorptive capacity is summarized, followed by the development of hypotheses derived from the knowledge-based view and absorptive capacity. (2) The hypotheses are tested with data collected from MNCs' subsidiaries performing marketing activities in Korea.Thestudyisclosedwithfindings,implications,andconclusions. Following six research hypotheses are drawn from literature review in related areas: H1: Adaptability of knowledge transferred from the MNCs' headquarters and other subsidiaries is positively associated with knowledge inflows into the receiving subsidiary. H2: The level of marketing knowledge transferred from the MNCs' headquarters and other subsidiaries is positively associated with marketing performance of the receiving subsidiary. H3: Increases in potential absorptive capacity will enhance the relationship between adaptability of knowledge and the level of marketing knowledge transfer. H4: Increases in realized absorptive capacity will enhance the relationship between the level of knowledge transfer and marketing performance of the receiving subsidiary. H5: Increases in socialization activity among the headquarters and subsidiaries will enhance the relationship between adaptability of knowledge and the level of marketing knowledge transfer. H6: Increases in the level of locally developed marketing knowledge will enhance the relationship between the level of knowledge transfer and marketing performance of the receiving subsidiary. The research framework that illustrates the proposed hypotheses is presented in figure 1. The unit of analysis for this study is knowledge transfer from the MNCs' headquarters and other subsidiaries to their subsidiaries operating in South Korea. The population for this study consists of subsidiaries established either as joint ventures or as wholly-owned subsidiaries. A group of 603 foreign firms were drawn from diverse industry organizations and business societies. After personal contact, telephone, fax, and e-mail to request that the respondents complete the questionnaire, 282 valid questionnaires from 133 initial sample companies were collected. The results of the empirical analyses significantly support all of the proposed hypotheses except hypothesis 3. Adaptability of external knowledge promotes knowledge transfer and the relationship is moderated by a firm's potential knowledge absorptive capacity. On the other hand, knowledge transfer improves a firm's marketing performance and a firm's realized knowledge absorptive capacity and local marketing knowledge moderate the relationship. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings in this study are as follows: (1) firms must take seeking, transferring, sharing and exploiting of external knowledge into serious consideration, while simultaneously creating knowledge to support the necessary business operations, remain competitive, and achieve superior performance. (2) Firms should continuously seek to develop their knowledge absorptive capacity (both potential and realized capacity) to absorb, learn and utilize valuable external knowledge. (3) Firms should emphasize not only absorptive capacity, but also development of local knowledge. Firms with strong absorptive capability and local knowledge can learn and transfer more external knowledge, which can be translated into greater levels of competence and performance.

간호대학생이 지각한 병원간호사의 직장 내 괴롭힘이 전공만족도와 진로적응성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect on the Major Satisfaction and the Career Adaptabilityof Nursing Students by the Perception of Hospital Nurse's Workplace Bullying)

  • 본 연구에서는 병원간호사의 직장 내 괴롭힘을 지각한 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 주도적으로 진로를 결정하고 직업환경에서의 변화에 대처할 수 있는 준비성인 진로적응성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 규명하기 위해 실시하였다. 연구 대상자는 서울과 충청권 거주 간호대학생으로 2020년 2월 1일부터 4월 15일까지로 총 187부의 자료를 t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, Multiple regression analysis로 최종 분석하였다. 연구결과는 학년과 학과 지원동기, 병원간호사의 직장 내 괴롭힘 지각의 영향 유무 및 진로적응성을 예측변수로 간호대학생의 전공만족도를 설명하는 선형회귀모형은 통계적으로 유의하였고(F=10.821, p<.001), 회귀모형의 설명력은 전공만족도 총 변화량의 33.1%를 설명하고 있다. 학년, 학과지원동기, 직장 내 괴롭힘 지각과 전공만족도를 예측변수로 간호대학생의 진로적응성을 설명하는 선형 회귀모형은 통계적으로 유의하였고(F=10.242, p<.000), 회귀모형의 설명력은 자기주도성 총 변화량의 28.9%를 설명하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 직장 내 괴롭힘 문화에 대한 지각 및 인식개선을 위한 상담과 비교과 교육 프로그램개발 및 활성화를 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

성인진입기 대학생의 그릿-열정 마인드셋 유형에 따른 잠재프로파일분석: 집단별 심리특성 및 진로적응성 차이 (A Latent Profile Analysis of Grit and Passion Mindset: Variations in Psychological Characteristics and Career Adaptability among University Students)

  • 본 연구는 그릿(노력과 흥미)과 열정 마인드셋(고정 vs. 성장)에 따라 잠재집단이 존재하는지 확인하고, 각 집단에 따라 우울, 불안, 행복과 같은 심리적 특성과 진로 준비를 위한 적응성에 유의미한 차이가 있는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 18세에서 만 25세까지의 대학생 328명을 대상으로 잠재프로파일분석(LPA)을 시행한 결과, 총 4개의 프로파일 그룹을 도출하였다. 도출된 잠재 집단으로, 그릿과 열정성장 마인드셋이 모두 높은 '성장적 성취형(LP1, 22.2%)', 모든 기준에서 평균 수준인 '평균형(LP2, 63.8%),' 그릿이 낮고 열정고정 마인드셋이 높은 '고정적 제한형(LP3, 8.8%),' 그리고 그릿은 낮았으나 열정성장 마인드셋은 높았던 '성장적 표류형(LP4, 5.1%)'이 있었다. 집단별 심리적 특성 및 진로적응성에서의 차이를 살펴본 결과, '성장적 성취형' 집단이 가장 적응적인 수준을 보였고, '고정적 제한형' 집단이 이와 가장 큰 대조를 이루었다. 본 연구는 개인의 심리적 특성에는 그릿이, 진로적응성에서는 열정 성장 마인드셋이 보다 적응적인 영향을 끼칠 수 있음을 시사한다. 따라서 개인의 종합적 심리적 안녕감을 높이고 진로 준비를 위한 적응 수준을 높이기 위한 개입으로 열정 마인드셋과 그릿을 함께 고려할 필요가 있음을 제안한다.
