20대 미혼 여성의 라이프스타일에 따른 스포츠웨어 상표충성도와 구매행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Sportswear Brand Loyalty and Purchase Behaviors according to Lifestyles of 20's Single Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the lifestyles of 20's unmarried women, identify the differences among the lifestyle groups, and analyze sportswear purchase behaviors and brand loyalty according to the lifestyle types. The subjects were 312 single women who had purchased sportswear. The questionnaire consisted of measurement items for lifestyle, purchase behaviors, brand loyalty and demographic attributions. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, ${\chi}^2$-test and Duncan's multiple range test, using SPSS 18.0 program. The results of the study were as follows. First, as a result of cluster analysis to classify the lifestyles of 20's single women, 4 groups were identified as practical and advanced-media-usage type, adventurous and self-actualizing type, enthusiastic-fashion seeking type, active and leisure-oriented type. Second, 3 factors of brand loyalty were classified as continuous brand loyalty, habitual brand loyalty and no brand loyalty. Third, upon analyzing the differences of brand loyalty based on lifestyles, practical and advanced-media-usage type and enthusiastic-trend seeking type showed no brand loyalty. Forth, 4 groups showed different sportswear purchase behaviors, such as purchase motivation, information sources, purchase frequency, purchase cost of one time, purchase place, the number of possession and purchase items.

특1급 호텔 조리사의 푸드 스타일링 수행현황에 따른 메뉴개발 인식 및 활용속성 (Recognition and Utility Properties of Menu Development Derived from the Performance of Food Styling for Cooks in a Super Deluxe Hotel)

  • This study surveyed the performance of food styling and recognition and utility properties of menu development for cooks in a super deluxe hotel. The questionnaires developed for this study were distributed to 400 males and females aged 20 and over. A total of 375 questionnaires were used for analysis (93.8%), and statistical analysis was completed using SPSS (version 14.0) for descriptive analysis and ${\chi}^2$-test. The most important item in food styling was 'harmony of food shape' (40.2%), and second ranked was 'harmony of food color' (23.4%). The most difficult item in food styling was 'lack of professional knowledge' (38.3%) followed by 'lack of creativity' (27.7%). In recognition of menu development, the importance of menu development and promotion was 3.82, and personal satisfaction after menu development was 3.29. Important items in menu development were 'taste' (41.8%) and 'use of new ingredient' (28.5%). When using newly developed menu, the ratio of selling new menu was '30~50%' at 42.7%, and the average selling period of new menu was '3~6 months' at 40.5%. For the effect of new menu on sales, 94.1% were aware of this effect, and to actively promote menu development, 'providing incentive' (35.7%), 'training in/out of country' (20.8%), 'self motivation' (17.3%), 'financial support' (14.7%), and 'motive' (11.5%) were all necessary requirements. In order to improve cooking performance, continued education on food styling and menu development along with the company's full support are required. Further, thorough training of employees is needed along with a high quality incentive policy needs to be done. In addition, to make the new menu profitable, an active marketing strategy must be employed, which will require further study.

장애인전문치과와 일반치과 의료진들의 장애인에 대한 태도 비교 (COMPARISON OF DENTAL STAFF'S ATTITUDE TOWARD THE SPECIAL HEALTH CARE NEEDS PATIENTS BETWEEN THE SPECIAL DENTAL CLINIC AND THE GENERAL DENTAL CLINIC)

  • The aim of this research is to compare the attitude toward the special needs of dental staffs between the special dental clinic (SDC) and the general dental clinic (GDC). Surveys were done on 21 dental staffs (7 dentists and 14 dental hygienists) of SDC and 47 dental staffs (10 dentists and 37 dental hygienists) of GDC. Attitudes were rated on a questionnaire with the five-point Likert scale. Mann-Whitney test was utilized for statistical analysis. In SDC, more female dentists and dental staffs who have relatives with disability were working. Dental staffs of SDC showed that the more experience they had, the more positive attitudes toward the communication with the patients with special needs (p<0.05). Dental staffs of SDC represented more active attitudes toward the oral health promotion, treatment, research and volunteering (p<0.05). In conclusion, dental staffs who have personal motivation were working in SDC and the experience of dental treatment to the patients with special needs influenced the dental staffs' attitudes toward them. In future, a research about the attitude toward the disabled with more exact scale should be followed.

대학기초수학 수업에서 스마트폰을 활용한 시각적 의사소통이 수학교육에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Visual Communication Utilizing Smartphones on Basic Mathematics Education at the Tertiary Level)

  • 본 연구는 G대학에서 214명 대학생들을 대상으로 네 강좌로 나누어 일주일에 2시간씩 16주 동안 대학기초수학을 수업하는 과정에서 스마트폰을 활용한 비주얼 교육이 수학의 기본 개념 이해와 학업성취도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 스마트폰의 SNS를 통한 즉각적 피드백이 학습자의 학업에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 공학도구의 활용에 관하여 수업 전 사전테스트와 수업 후 사후테스트를 통해 총 30문항의 태도 검사를 실시하였다. 중간고사와 기말고사 결과를 분석하여 수업 중의 학습자의 수학개념에 대한 이해도와의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구결과로는 기존의 지필 풀이에만 의존했던 방식과 달리 공학 도구를 사용함으로써 시각적인 이해 방법으로 그래프와 수학의 개념적 연결고리가 형성되어 학습자의 개념적인 전이가능성을 보여주었다. 스마트폰을 비롯한 공학도구의 사용이 개념의 이해를 더 쉽도록 지원하였고 학생들의 자발적인 참여를 유도할 수 있었으며, 수학에 대한 흥미유발과 긍정적 태도를 촉진할 수 있다는 긍정적인 성과를 얻게 되었다.

의학교육에서의 가르치는 것과 배우는 것의 의미 (The Significance of Teaching and Learning in Medical Education)

  • Teaching and learning were carried out long before the word "education" was coined. As teaching and learning became more universal, the word "education" was construed as a social promise, and there was a general consensus as to what it denoted. Many university professors will most likely have great confidence and expertise with respect to "teaching" in their area of specialization, and they believe that they are fulfilling a social promise. However, how much expertise do they have in actually making students "learn"? How concerned are professors about enabling students to utilize their potential and talents to cultivate their learning abilities and to adjust to the different demands of various fields? The same issue arises in medical education. To what extent can professors' teaching heighten students' sense of purpose and motivation to learn? With regard to increasing learners' initiatives, the learning model of constructivism presupposes that learners are active and creative, have their own personalities, and possess unlimited learning potential. The PBL being carried out in medical schools today is a form of study that can take advantage of these aspects of learners. They can maximally widen the range of students' development through many intellectual activities and solve difficult problems by either sharing or critiquing the thoughts and ideas of others. The acts of teaching and learning that have been carried out for thousands of years remain difficult to this day and must be ceaselessly deliberated and researched by experts in the field of education. Just as good teachers are required to produce good learners, we must give ourselves room to rethink the basis of education in order to maximize effective and efficient learning.

전공실내디자인의 교육내용 및 교육방법 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Innovation of Course Contents and Instruction of Advanced Design in Interior Design Education)

  • This stduy aimed to suggest a possible way for a new setting of interior design education through analyzing educational situations of domestic interior design societies. The study showed that interior design education should not follow expressive methods made from practical work which had been popular in the past and it should establish fundamental formation to make interior design education useful in industrial fields through active educationalindustrial complex. Interior design education is not possible without interrelationship with other professional fields and cooperative attitudes among them. The rapid development in the modern industrial world and the ever-growing information processing world regardless of ideology and regiional boundaries indicate that the future of interior design education will be no longer effective with traditional education systems. The idea suggested in this study may be understood as a bridge between the educational reality and its ideal in interior design teaching. The main points of the study are follows. First, the projects of advanced interior design should be focused on increasing the ability for problem solving rather than accumulating basic knowledge. Second, motivation is important for the maximization of the efficiency of educatiov. Therefore a few suggestions in establishing design conditions, as strategies of inducing 'attention', 'self-confidence', 'satisfaction', and 'relevance' are closely examined to propose practical application methods. Third, educational methods should be developed towards creativity in order to increase abilities of thinking and expressiov. Finally, it is necessary to explore various device which help internship participants to get experiences with a sense of practical situations in industrial fields. This could be possibly done by enforcing academic grades for the work done as an internship participation; by employing workmen in industrial fields as faculty members; and by bringing faculty members into actual industrial situations and providing workmen with lectures. A new approach for a better design education seems to be desirable for the future.

일부 치위생과 학생들의 셀프리더십이 스트레스 대처방식에 미치는 영향 (Effect of self-leadership on stress coping in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : This study examined the stress-coping methods used by Dental Hygiene students according to their degree of self-leadership to provide basic data for students' self-leadership training programs. Methods : Dental Hygiene students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were surveyed to measure their self-leadership in six categories-self-expectation, rehearsal, goal-setting, self-compensation, self-criticism, and constructive thinking-sand, in four categories-sproblem-centered coping, social support coping, emotional coping, and wishful thinking coping-son a scale of 1 through 5. Results : The findings of the study were as follows: The overall average score of self-leadership was 3.34 and the scores for each subfactor were 3.82 for self-compensation, 3.57 for self-expectation, 3.44 for rehearsal, 3.42 for goal-setting, 3.30 for self-criticism, and 3.12 for constructive thinking. The overall average score of stress-coping was 3.29 out of 5 and the scores for active coping were 3.14 for problem-centered coping and 3.38 for social support coping and for passive coping were 3.69 for wishful thinking coping and 2.95 for emotional coping. Self-leadership showed significant difference in terms of satisfaction with major and motivation for application. The six sub-factors of self-leadership and problem-centered coping and wishful thinking coping, the sub-factors of stress-coping, had significant correlations. Self-compensation and constructive thinking were significant factors of self-leadership that affect stress-coping. Conclusions : Based on the above findings, it was found that Dental Hygiene students' self-leadership is related to the use of efficient stress-coping. Therefore, it would be necessary to develop and apply educational approaches to improve their self-leadership so they can efficiently cope with various stressors that they will face after finding jobs.

아나운서의 직업 만족도와 직업 지속의도 (Announcers' Job Satisfaction and Jon Continuity Intention)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 방송 콘텐츠 제작 종사자로서 아나운서의 직업 현실을 파악하려는 것이다. 이를 위해 아나운서들의 직업 만족도와 지속 의도를 직업 선택 동기, 조직 정체성, 그리고 사회적 평판 차원에서 살피고자 하였다. 아나운서들의 실제 직업 만족도와 직업 지속 의도에 가장 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇이며, 아나운서 직종이 과연 대중이 인식하는 이른바 인기 직종 관념과 얼마나 부합하는지 밝히기 위한 것이다. 연구방법은 현직 아나운서 대상 설문조사 방식을 사용하였다. 응답자는 총 106명이었다. 위계적 회귀분석결과 아나운서들의 직업 만족도와 지속 의도는 업무에 대한 외재적 동기가 아닌, 내재적 동기와 관련이 큰 것으로 밝혀졌다. 아나운서 업무 만족도 및 직업 지속 의도와 가장 밀접한 관계를 지닌 요인은 조직일치감으로 나타났으며, 사회적 평판 요인은 직업 만족도와 지속 의도에 모두 유의미한 영향력을 발휘하지 못하는 것으로 드러났다. 이는 아나운서의 직업 만족도와 지속 의도가 외적 보상이나 조건 및 평가에 크게 좌우되지 않는다는 것을 의미한다.

종합병원 질향상 사업 담당자의 직무만족과 조직몰입에 관한 연구 (Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment of Quality Improvement Coordinators in General Hospitals)

  • This study was planned to provide basic data for activating quality improvement by genera hospital with more than 400 beds across the country, of which 65 coordinators answered. Main results of the study are as follows.. 1. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment by individual characteristics were compared. It was revealed that the sense of self-efficacy was related to job satisfaction positively. But job satisfaction and organizational commitment by locus of control showed no significant difference. 2. In terms of the characteristics of QI activities, the active participation of QI coordinators in QI planning process and smooth communication among hospital staffs were showed positive relationship to job satisfaction significantly. 3. Also support system was proposed as most significant variable related to the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment of QI coordinators. Especially support to QI activities by CEO's, seniors, and other hospital staff was a factor to enhance the job satisfaction and organizational commitment of QI coordinators. 4. In the aspect of organizational culture, culture which were tendency to be recognized high autonomy in their work and organizational identity strongly and to operate reasonable compensation system were related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment positively. The more formalized climate, supportive communication, cooperative teamwork and promoting creative/risk take behavior, it showed the higher organizational commitment. 5. For the aspect of QI job characteristics, QI coordinators' job satisfaction was high when QI office was arranged for independent department which was exclusively in charge of QI activities and their role is exclusively in charge of QI. It can be concluded that organizational support in the aspect of relation and finance and efforts of encouraging their motivation and providing on the job training program are need.

The Effects of Transformational Leadership of IT CEO on Ordering Company Satisfaction : The Mediating Effect of Enhancing Transfer of Training on IT Employees

  • Enterprises that don't adapt to the changes can be weeded out, because IT sector is one of the most rapid rate of changes in business. The optimized job education and training are an essential part for the enterprises to handle the advanced and developed technologies, so the needs for the positive investments to the education and training about their employees and transformational leadership have been increased. This study verified how the transformational leadership of representatives in the IT enterprises affects the satisfaction of their ordering agencies as well as the transfer of education and training can be the intermediary role to them. From the results of the statistical analysis about questionnaire survey of 251 IT enterprises, dispatched their employees to public institutions in Ulsan, several significant outcomes are founded as follows. First, the transformational leadership of representative in the IT enterprises influenced the transfer of education and training positively. Second, the transfer of education and training positively affected the satisfaction of ordering agencies. Third, the satisfaction of ordering agencies are also affected from the transformational leadership. Finally, the some roles was influenced by the charisma of transformational leadership, and also, completely, the inspirational motivation and the intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership was affected by the intermediary roles to the satisfaction of ordering agencies. Based on the results of this study, representatives in the IT enterprises can be expected by the positive company results from improving the satisfaction of ordering agencies through the transformational leadership, which allow active investment in education and training about their employees and construction of pragmatic system through the education and training results for the organization, superiors and colleague.
