설비형 태양열시스템 설계분석 프로그램 개발 (Active Solar Heating System Design & Analysis Program)

  • This study aims to develop the program for active solar heating system design & analysis. The program, named ASOLis, is consisted of three user's interface like as system input/output, library, and utilities and used TRNSYS as a calculation engine for the system analysis. ASOLis simplifies user's input data through the database and can design 37 different types of solar systems. Solar system is configurated by two separated parts "solar thermal collecting part" and "load supplying part". Due to the user-friendly layout, all design parameters can be changed quickly and easily for the influence on system efficiency. For the reliability, ASOLis compared with experimental result. As a result, ASOLis is expected to be used as a vital tool for the design and analysis of active solar heating system.

  • An Intelligent active roll angle controller design algorithm is discussed. The detailed mathematical formulation and analysis are discussed, and then modeling and design method for active roll angle controller are presented. This paper proposes a design method based upon intelligent robust controller design algorithm to control actively roll angle for improving cornering performance problems. The intelligent robust controller is designed for steady speed driving vehicle system model with representation of steering angle and yaw angular velocity parameters for cornering stability. And the detailed formulation and analysis for the objective vehicle system are investigated.

  • To predict the behavior of the intravascular micro active endoscope in the real human vascular system, a human mock circulation system was developed. The intravascular micro active endoscope which consists of micro active bending catheter and micro drug infusion catheter was driven in the velocity, Re number and temperature controlled flow. The three SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) zigzag type spring in the micro active bending catheter was heated by the electric current generated by PWM controller, and the shape memory effect made the actuator bend to any direction. The micro drug infusion catheter was driven through the inner hole of the micro active bending catheter. A mock circulation system is shaped from Ascending Arota to Femoral artery according to a human data (the data contains many vascular sizes and hydrographs of many control points). We developed a vascular model with glass and silicone tubes, and set the flow system with circulation parts, flow settling parts, and lots of valves. The heater and heat-controller was added to the How system to centre! the temperature of the How at 36.5$^{\circ}C$. The result showed that the developed intravascular micro active endoscope could be induced to any point in the vascular model.

Active Star를 이용한 FlexRay 네트워크 구현 (Implementation of FlexRay Network using Active Star)

  • FlexRay는 차량의 성능향상과 많은 전자제어 유닛으로 인해 발생하는 배선 및 성능저하를 개선하기 위한 고성능 통신 시스템 네트워크의 표준이다. 최대 10Mbps의 데이터 전송 속도를 가지며 2개의 채널을 통해 동시에 전송할 수 있다. FlexRay 시스템을 하드웨어로 구현하기 위해 SDL로 설계된 결과를 토대로 Verilog HDL을 이용하여 설계하였고, Magna/Hynix 0.18 um 공정을 이용해 Synopsys Design Compiler를 사용해 합성하였다. FlexRay 시스템에서 여러 노드 사이의 통신 제어를 위해 active star와 passive star가 사용되는데 active star는 최대 10Mbps의 빠른 데이터 전송에 주로 쓰인다. 본 논문에서는 active star를 이용한 FlexRay 네트워크를 구현하기 위해 설계한 FlexRay 시스템 외에 active star를 제어하기 위한 별도의 controller를 구현하였고 하나의 송신노드에 두 개의 수신노드를 연결하여 각각의 수신노드에 다른 프레임 메시지를 전송하는 실험을 통하여 올바른 동작이 이뤄짐을 확인하였다.

자기부상용 Halbach 자석 배열을 이용한 선형 능동자기 베어링의 최적설계 (Optimal design of a Linear Active Magnetic Bearing using Halbach magnet array for Magnetic levitation)

  • 본 논문은 Halbach 자석 배열을 사용하여 새로운 구조의 선형 능동자기 베어링 개발을 제시하고자 하였다. 선형 능동자기 베어링은 자석 간 발생하는 자중 보상 능력과 코일에 전류를 인가함으로서 발생하는 동적 힘을 이용하여 반도체 장비, 가공 장비 등 다양한 산업분야에서 적용되고 있다. 기존의 선형 능동자기 베어링은 크기에 비해 동적 힘이 낮은 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 보다 높은 동적 힘을 발휘하는 선형 능동자기 베어링을 개발하기 위해 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존 구조를 분석하고 새로운 구조를 제안하였다. 제안된 새로운 구조의 선형 능동 자기베어링을 최적화하기 위해서 모델링 및 최적 설계를 수행하였다. Sequential Quadratic Programming을 사용하여 제안된 선형 능동자기 베어링의 기하학적 설계 변수에 대해 최적의 설계가 수행되었으며, 최적설계 된 선형 능동자기 베어링의 설계성능은 정적 힘 45.063 N, 로렌츠 힘 상수 19.543 N/A 로 기존보다 높은 동적 힘을 발휘하는 것이 확인되었다.

Solid State Transformer를 위한 양방향 Dual Active Bridge DC-DC 컨버터의 설계 기법 (Practical Design Methodology of Dual Active Bridge Converter as Isolated Bi-directional DC-DC Converter for Solid State Transformer)

  • Proper design guides are proposed for a practical dual-active bridge (DAB) converter based on the mathematical model on the steady state. The DAB converter is popular in bidirectional application due to its zero-voltage capability and easy bidirectional operation for seamless control, high efficiency, and performance. Some design considerations are taken to overcome the limitation of the DAB converter. The practical design methodology of power stage is discussed to minimize the conduction and switching losses of the DAB converter. Small-signal model and frequency response are derived and analyzed based on the generalized average method, which considers equivalent series resistance, to improve the dynamics, stability, and reliability with voltage regulation of the practical DAB converter. The design of closed-loop control is discussed by the derived small-signal model to obtain the pertinent gain and phase margin in steady-state operation. Experimental results of a 3.3 kW prototype of DAB converter demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed methods.

낮은 입력 정재파비와 잡음을 갖는 수동 및 능동 바이어스를 사용한 저잡음증폭기에 관한 연구 (LNA Design Uses Active and Passive Biasing Circuit to Achieve Simultaneous Low Input VSWR and Low Noise)

  • In this paper, the low noise power amplifier for GaAs FET ATF-10136 is designed and fabricated with active bias circuit and self bias circuit. To supply most suitable voltage and current, active bias circuit is designed. Active biasing offers the advantage that variations in the pinch-off voltage($V_p$) and saturated drain current($I_{DSS}$) will not necessitate a change in either the source or drain resistor value for a given bias condition. The active bias network automatically sets a gate-source voltage($V_{gs}$) for the desired drain voltage and drain current. Using resistive decoupling circuits, a signal at low frequency is dissipated by a resistor. This design method increases the stability of the LNA, suitable for input stage matching and gate source bias. The LNA is fabricated on FR-4 substrate with active and self bias circuit, and integrated in aluminum housing. As a results, the characteristics of the active and self bias circuit LNA implemented more than 13 dB and 14 dB in gain, lower than 1 dB and 1.1 dB in noise figure, 1.7 and 1.8 input VSWR at normalized frequency $1.4{\sim}1.6$, respectively.

  • Recently, Automobile manufactures have developing automotive exhaust system under consideration for improvement in engine performance. It thus develop many exhaust components. For example active muffler, semi-active muffler, electronic muffler etc. In this components consider enhanced back pressure and reduction noise. Especially, In recent years it develop the study of semi-active muffler. Semi-active muffler is simple structure and excel performance. Recently many forms semi-active muffler was developed and adopted to the actual use in consideration of cost and technical side for noise and vibration. This study had main objects about the recently developed the semi-active muffler. It was to show its combustion performance as well as its enhanced back pressure characteristics in design. Therefore if the precise analysis of the combustion pressure according to the back pressure transmission was carried out, it was understood that this study would be utilized in the design of the exhaust system such as the semi-active muffler.

  • The flexural vibration of laminated composite beams with active and passive constrained-layer damping has been investigated to design structure with maximum possible damping capacity. The equations of motion are derived for flexural vibrations of symmetrical, multi-layer laminated beams. The damping ratio and modal damping of the first bending mode are calculated by means of iterative complex eigensolution method. This paper addresses a design strategy of laminated composite under flexural vibrations with active control.

Design of Compact and Efficient Interleaved Active Clamp ZVS Forward Converter for Modular Power Processor Distributed Power System

  • A high efficiency interleaved active clamp forward converter with self driven synchronous rectifiers for a modular power processor is presented. To simplify the gate drive circuits, N-P MOSFETs coupled active clamp method is used. An efficiency about 90% for the load range of 50-100% is achieved. The details of design for the power stage and current mode control circuit are provided, and also some experimental results are given.
