Vector space based augmented structural kinematic feature descriptor for human activity recognition in videos

  • A vector space based augmented structural kinematic (VSASK) feature descriptor is proposed for human activity recognition. An action descriptor is built by integrating the structural and kinematic properties of the actor using vector space based augmented matrix representation. Using the local or global information separately may not provide sufficient action characteristics. The proposed action descriptor combines both the local (pose) and global (position and velocity) features using augmented matrix schema and thereby increases the robustness of the descriptor. A multiclass support vector machine (SVM) is used to learn each action descriptor for the corresponding activity classification and understanding. The performance of the proposed descriptor is experimentally analyzed using the Weizmann and KTH datasets. The average recognition rate for the Weizmann and KTH datasets is 100% and 99.89%, respectively. The computational time for the proposed descriptor learning is 0.003 seconds, which is an improvement of approximately 1.4% over the existing methods.

  • This paper aims to analyze an action about a port choice of shipper between two ports. For this propose, this paper analyzed a port choice action for Kwangyang and Busan port using a fuzzy logic and neural network. Also, this paper compared classification performance of fuzzy-neural network to Logit model, and analyzed a port choice action into change Para-meta such as freight volumes and service standard.

Decomposed "Spatial and Temporal" Convolution for Human Action Recognition in Videos

  • In this paper we study the effect of decomposed spatiotemporal convolutions for action recognition in videos. Our motivation emerges from the empirical observation that spatial convolution applied on solo frames of the video provide good performance in action recognition. In this research we empirically show the accuracy of factorized convolution on individual frames of video for action classification. We take 3D ResNet-18 as base line model for our experiment, factorize its 3D convolution to 2D (Spatial) and 1D (Temporal) convolution. We train the model from scratch using Kinetics video dataset. We then fine-tune the model on UCF-101 dataset and evaluate the performance. Our results show good accuracy similar to that of the state of the art algorithms on Kinetics and UCF-101 datasets.

  • The video-assisted human action recognition [1] field is one of the most active ones in computer vision research. Since the depth data [2] obtained by Kinect cameras has more benefits than traditional RGB data, research on human action detection has recently increased because of the Kinect camera. We conducted a systematic study of strategies for recognizing human activity based on deep data in this article. All methods are grouped into deep map tactics and skeleton tactics. A comparison of some of the more traditional strategies is also covered. We then examined the specifics of different depth behavior databases and provided a straightforward distinction between them. We address the advantages and disadvantages of depth and skeleton-based techniques in this discussion.

  • The result were as follows: 1. Yu Wan So(劉完素) regarded the cause of surgical disease as the heat(熱). He used the three method to drain(疏通), promoting pus drainage(托裏) and the balance between ying-energy(營氣) and wei-energy(衛氣). 2. Jang Jong Jeung(張從正) only refered to medicines without entire theory. 3. Lee Dong Won(李東垣) regarded the cause of surgical disease as the greasy diet(膏梁厚味), damp air(濕氣), wetness heat(濕熱). For each treatment he used the method of Yu Wan So's treatment and emphasized the balance between ying-energy(營氣) and wei-energy(衛氣), stomach energy(胃氣). 4. Ju Jin Heung(朱震亨) distinguished the cause of surgical disease from enternal(內), external(外) and channel(經). For each treatment he used the method to drain(疏通), promoting pus drainage(托裏) and the balance between ying-energy(營氣) and wei-energy(衛氣). The first stage used the clearing away heat and toxic materials(淸熱解毒) and the last stage used the invigoration and dispersion(補托). 5. Yu Wan So(劉完素) used to be very busy of Moschus(麝香), Alumen(白礬), Olibanum(乳香), Coptidis Rhizoma(黃連), Minium(黃丹) and Scutel1ariae Radix(黃芩) In classification of the medical action, great part of the medicine are activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis(活血祛瘀), clearing away heat and toxic materials( 淸熱解毒) and external application(外用). 6. Jang Jong Jeung(張從正) used to be very busy of Olibanum(乳香), Angelicae Gigantis Radix(當歸), Minium(黃丹), Myrrha(沒藥), Calomelas(輕粉), Rhei Radix Et Rhizoma(大黃) and Phellodendri Cortex(黃柏). In classification of the medical action, great part of the medicine arc activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis(活血祛瘀), clearing away heat and toxic materials(淸熱解毒) and diverged wind-cold evil(發散風寒). 7. Lee Dong Won(李東垣) used to be very busy of Forsythiae Fructus(連翹), Scuteliariae Radix(黃芩), Angelicae Gigantis Radix(當歸).   • We study free actions of finite groups on 3-dimensional nil-manifolds with the first homology ${\mathbb{Z}}^2{\oplus}{\mathbb{Z}}_p$. By the works of Bieberbach and Waldhausen, this classification problem is reduced to classifying all normal nilpotent subgroups of almost Bieberbach groups of finite index, up to affine conjugacy.

  • Eukaryotes produce various types of small RNAs of 19-28 nt in length. With rapidly increasing numbers of small RNAs listed in recent years, we have come to realize how widespread their functions are and how diverse the biogenesis pathways have evolved. At the same time, we are beginning to grasp the common features and rules governing the key steps in small RNA pathways. In this review, I will summarize the current classification, biogenesis, action mechanism and function of these fascinating molecules.

  • We classify equivariant topoligical complex vector bundles over real projective plane under a compact Lie group (not necessarily effective) action. It is shown that nonequivariant Chern classes and isotropy representations at (at most) three points are sufficient to classify equivariant vector bundles over real projective plane except one case. To do it, we relate the problem to classification on two-sphere through the covering map because equivariant vector bundles over two-sphere have been already classified.

Classification According to Site of Action of Paddy Herbicides Registered in Korea (국내 수도용 제초제의 작용기작별 분류)

  • This review study was conducted to recommend the effective use of herbicide mixtures in Korea. The herbicide ingredients by Herbicide Resistancce Action Committee (HRAC) was classified into 23 groupes according to the mode of action (acetyl CoA carboxylase inhibitors, acetolactate synthase, photosystem I and II inhibitors, protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitors, carotenoid biosynthesis inhibitors, enolpyruvyl shikimate-3-phosphate synthase inhibitors, glutamine synthetase inhibitors, dihydropteroate synthetase inhibitors, mitosis inhibitors, cellulose inhibitors, oxidative phosphorylation uncouplers, fatty acid and lipid biosynthesis inhibitors, synthetic auxins, auxin transport inhibitors and potential nucleic acid inhibitors or non-descript mode of action). The rice herbicide mixtures registered in Korea were classified based on the guideline of HRAC. Accordingly, such a classification system for resistance management can help to avoid continuous use of the herbicide having the same mode of action in the same field.

  • Packet classification is an essential architectural component in implementing the quality-of-service (QoS) in today's Internet which provides a best-effort service to ail of its applications. Multiple header fields of incoming packets are compared against a set of rules in packet classification, the highest priority rule among matched rules is selected, and the packet is treated according to the action of the rule. In this Paper, we proposed a new packet classification scheme based on parallel multiple hashing on tuple spaces. Simulation results using real classifiers show that the proposed scheme provides very good performance on the required number of memory accesses and the memory size compared with previous works.
