This study focused on the necessity and structural framework of tentative draft of "Act on Family Welfare". The background of this study started from the necessity that we need a holistic family welfare system to enhance the family function. The suggested act of family welfare is consisted on 4 parts, General Provisions, Arrangements of Basic Plan and Policy, Organizations and Facilities for Family Wefare and certified Personnel.

The Korean government has recently invigorated the activities of public diplomacy. It is based on the Public Diplomacy Act enacted in 2016. However, there is a widespread concern that it was belatedly enacted and showed necessity to a revision. We believe that this paper contains three contributions which were not sufficiently addressed before. First, we identify the current state of public diplomacy-related legislation in Korea. Second, we argue the necessity to critically review the legal adequacy of Public Diplomacy Act with a consideration of rapidly changing external environment. Lastly, we propose several ways of revision for the future development of public diplomacy in Korea. When revising the Act, it is necessary to make clear a legal connection between the general law and the special law as in the case of the Korea Foundation Act and the Public Diplomacy Act. In this regard, it is worth examining the relationship between the Framework Act on International Development Cooperation and related norms. In addition, the role of the private sector and subnational governments should be expanded. For this purpose, a method and level of cooperation with the private sector should be clearly defined.

A company is liable for its products and has the responsibility to make good on any loss or damage incurred by the user of its product. The purpose of the Product Liability Act(PLA) is to protect consumers against damage caused by defective products, and contribute to the safety of the citizen's life and the sound development of the national economy by regulating the liability of manufacturers, etc. for damages caused by the defectiveness of their products. In this study, the cognition levels of consumers and producers for PLA were surveyed. The cognition levels of four factors of acknowledgement, comprehension, necessity and impact for PLA were assessed. The results were as follows : i) Acknowledgement and comprehension levels of consumer were assessed low but they assessed necessity and impact of PLA high; ii) Producers assessed necessity and impact of PLA higher than their acknowledgement and comprehension levels; iii) Overall cognition levels of producers were higher than those of consumers.

Automation of a container terminal is a world-wide tendency nowadays. The interest of ACT (Automated Container Terminal) is increasing more and more because of necessity of container terminal with higher competitive power and ultramodern equipment to down the cost and up the efficiency. ECT (Europe Combined Terminals) and CTA (Container Terminal Altenwerder) have studied a detailed technique for the operation of ACT. In Korea, many projects related to the development of ACT are working at present. However, indiscreet introduction of ACT may cause tremendous loss. Thus it is much important thing that we search relevant automation level or type for an environment In this study, we propose the necessary strategy in developing ACT through analyzing the present condition, automated equipments and property of operation at advanced An. If the strategy is applied in development of domestic ACT, we'll be able to build ACT with higher competitive power.

Many terminally ill cancer patients grapple with a range of physical, psychological, and social challenges. Therefore, it is critical to offer effective psychological interventions to assist them in managing these issues and enhancing their quality of life. This brief communication provides a concise overview of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), along with empirical evidence of its application for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals in hospice and palliative care settings and an overview of future directions of ACT interventions in South Korea. ACT, a third-wave type of cognitive behavioral therapy, is a model of psychological flexibility that promotes personal growth and empowerment across all life areas. Currently, there is substantial evidence from overseas supporting the effectiveness of ACT on health-related outcomes among patients with various diseases, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. The necessity and significance of conducting ACT-based empirical research in hospice and palliative care settings in South Korea are discussed.

This study examines the significance and problems of the Fourth Amendment to the Fisheries Act, which went into effect in January 2023. Following the passage of the Aquaculture Industry Development Act, the fourth amendment to the Fisheries Act sought to reform the fisheries legislative framework, while also including significant changes. In particular, a number of new systems for managing fishing gear have been implemented, and local governments now have some autonomy in fisheries management, which has allowed for adjustments to be made to meet the needs of the fishing industry and changes in socioeconomic situations. However, as independent legislation for each fisheries sector continues, the subject of regulation under the Fisheries Act, as well as the Act's position as a basic legal system, has been continuously reduced, overshadowing the Act's objective. As a result, a full-fledged assessment of changing the legislation's name in the future is required, as well as addressing issues such as the lack of difference in the legislative purpose clause and the necessity for further revision of the definition clause. Therefore, any future revisions to the Fisheries Act should aim to overhaul the existing framework, including fishing licenses and permits.

본 연구에서는 "평생교육법"개정에 따라 확대된 장애인평생교육의 역할에 대한 이해와 함께 장애인 재활상담사의 역할과 직무영역을 살펴봄으로서 장애인 재활상담사가 장애인평생교육 분야에 어떻게 참여하고 또 연계해 갈 것인지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 법개정의 의의에 대한 문헌고찰과 함께 장애인평생교육 및 직업재활 전문가 7인을 대상으로 FGI를 실시하였으며 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 법 개정이후 장애인평생교육에 대한 국가의 책무성이 강조되었고 이에 따라 장애인평생교육의 역할이 강조된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 법개정으로 국가장애인평생교육진흥센터의 역할이 강화되었고 전문인력제공이란 측면에서 직업재활영역과 연계할 때 교육적 성과에 기여할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 전문가 간 심층면담을 통해 나타난 연계방안은 개념에 대한 재정립의 필요성, 장애영역별 평생교육지원 요구, 업무의 재구성과 지원의 필요, 상생하기 위한 방안 찾기 등으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 장애인평생교육과 직업재활은 장애인의 성인기 삶에서 필수적인 것으로 인력배치문제나 운영측면에서 장애인평생교육에 대한 개념재정립과 함께 서로의 영역에 대한 이해가 필요하고 이를 토대로 상생할 수 있는 방안 마련이 시급함을 알 수 있었다.

이 논문에서는 방사선사법 제정에 반영해야하는 주요내용 및 방사선사법 필요성을 확인하기 위하여 방사선사의 인식 차이를 조사하였다. 방사선사법 제정에 대하여 방사선사를 대상으로 한 인식조사의 결과에서 "중요하다" 이상의 우선순위는 방사선사법 제정(90.1%), 방사선사 업무로 "조영제 주사" 법제화(85.8%), "의료방사선 정책 심의 위원회" 법제화(85.8%), "방사선사 윤리위원회"의 법제화(80.9%), 협회 방사선사 의무가입의 법제화(71.6%)이었다. "보통" 이상의 우선순위는 방사선사법 제정(100%), "의료방사선 정책 심의위원회" 법제화(97.1%), 방사선사 윤리위원회"의 법제화(95.1%), 방사선사 업무로 "조영제 주사" 법제화(95.1%), 인증평가제 도입 필요성(94.34)이었다. 필요성과 중요도에서 방사선사법은 최우선 과제로 여겨지고 개별 안건에 따라서 필요성과 중요도의 차이는 존재한다. 이는 방사선사법 제정의 논리적 근거와 정책방향을 결정하는 자료로 활용 가능할 것이다.

In the personalized medicine era, utilizing paraffin blocks in pathology archives for investigating human diseases has come into the limelight. This archived material with clinical data will reduce the research time and could prevent new patient recruitment to obtain tissue for research. However, the clause indicating the necessity of consent from human material providers in the Korean Bioethics and Safety Act has made the Institutional Review Board (IRB) deny permission to use paraffin blocks for research without consent, and alternatively to get the same before starting an experiment. Written consent may be waived off in studies using paraffin blocks with anonymous status or conditions not linked to personal information by applying the paragraph 3, article 16 of the current Bioethics and Safety Act. Also, the IRB should recommend researchers to preserve the blocks as medical records of patients in long-term archives.

The purpose of this study is to find ways to improve the quality of life in old age. 'Act on Long-Term Care Insurance for the Aged' has been enforced since 2008 in Korea. But This is not encompass all of the elderly policies. Aging policies service separately each part by residential, welfare, and so on. There are 'Local Community Support Service' and 'Community General Support Center' for seniors as a comprehensive institution in Japan. Local Community Support Service is preventive and regional. And Community General Support Centers are sufficiently provide for each region. Japan can be a leading model of Korea. Therefor it analyzes Japanese cases and compares to the domestic situations in this study. Through this process, this study measures the necessity of the General Support Center for the elderly.
