최근 한국어도비시스템즈(대표 이흥렬, www.adobe.co.kr)가 시장 공략을 위한 새로운 상품으로 Acrobat 6.0 출시를 공식 발표했다. Acrobat 6.0은 학국어도비사로서는 그야말로 야심찬 기획상품이다. 'Acrobat Reader를 아는 사람들이 Acrobat를 모른다' 라는 이흥렬 사장의 푸념을 잠재우기 위해 올 초 열린 기자간담회부터 누누이 강조해 오던 제품이다. 한국어도비사의 유저 가이드를 바탕으로 Acrobat 6.0의 새로운 기능 및 흥미로운 기능들을 정리해 보았다.

In this paper, we described a technique for the swing-up control of a 2 link acrobat robot using a cannonical form which is derived form the law of conservation of an angular momentum based on the center of the first joint. The wide usefulness of the canonical form of the acrobat robot, which was suggested here, is could also be applied to control a free flying robot or an underactuated planar manipulator with no gravity term. Some simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm

본 논문은 1999년 4월에 출시된 Acrobat 4.0에서 지원하는 PDF(Portable Document Format)를 이용해서 고문헌의 원문을 디지털화하여, 웹상에서 이용자가 고문헌의 원문을 손쉽게 검색할 수 있도록 하기 위한 방안에 대해 연구한 것이다. 이전의 Acrobat 3.0판은 한글 지원에 문제가 많았으나, 이번에 개정된 4.0판에서는 다국어폰트의 지원으로 한글, 중국어, 일본어 등의 PDF변환이 가능해졌다. 따라서 <한글97>(속칭<아래아 한글>)로 구축된 고문헌의 원문파일을 PDF로 변환은 물론 편집도 가능하게 되었다. PDF파일의 뷰어인 Acrobat Reader는 웹상에서 무상으로 다운로드 받을 수 있으므로, 이 PDF를 이용하여 고문헌의 원문을 디지털화 한다면, 향후 개선되어야 할 문제가 있긴 하지만, 이용자가 인터넷상에서 손쉽게 고문헌의 원문을 검색할 수 있게 될 것이다.

본 연구는 인터넷 게임 방송의 분석을 통해 게임 방송에 친화적인 게임 디자인 요소를 도출하고자 한다. 이를 위해 인터넷 게임 방송 시청 동기 등에 관한 선행 연구들을 분석하여 방송의 지향점을 '통달'과 '오락'으로 단순화하고, 이들의 조합을 통해 스트리머의 방송 유형을 'Reviewer', 'Master', 'Entertainer', 'Acrobat'으로 구분하였다. 이를 토대로 다양한 장르의 게임 방송을 분석한 결과 유형별 방송 영상물 수와 조회수 모두 'Acrobat'유형의 방송이 가장 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 장르는 유사하지만, 방송 유형에서 'Master'유형이 주도적인 와 'Acrobat'유형이 주도적인 의 콘텐츠 기획 요소를 비교분석하고 'Acrobat'유형의 방송에 유리한 만의 게임 디자인적 요소를 'Fortune', 'Setup Time', 'Control View'로 정리하여 방송 친화적인 게임 설계를 위한 가이드라인을 제시하였다.

Digital document file such as Adobe Acrobat or MS-Office is encrypted by its own ciphering algorithm with a user password. When this password is not known to a user or a forensic inspector, it is necessary to recover the password to open the encrypted file. Password cracking by brute-force search is a perfect approach to discover the password but a time consuming process. This paper presents a new method of speeding up password recovery on Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) using a Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA). PDF files are chosen as a password cracking target, and the Abode Acrobat password recovery algorithm is examined. Experimental results show that the proposed method gives high performance at low cost, with a cluster of GPU nodes significantly speeding up the password recovery by exploiting a number of computing nodes. Password cracking performance is increased linearly in proportion to the number of computing nodes and GPUs.

Multiple synaptic boutons (MSBs) have been reported to be synapse with two or more postsynaptic terminals in one presynaptic terminal. These MSBs are known to be increased by various brain stimuli. In the motor cortex, increased number of MSB was observed in both acrobat training (AC) model and traumatic brain injury (TBI) model. Interestingly one is a physiological stimuli and the other is pathological insult. The purpose of this study is to compare the connectivity of MSBs between AC model and TBI model in the cerebral motor cortex, based on the hypothesis that the connectivity of MSBs might be different according to the models. The motor cortex was dissected from perfused brain of each experimental animal, the samples were prepared for routine transmission electron microscopy. The 60~70 serial sections were mounted on the one-hole grid and MSB was analyzed. The 3-dimensional analysis revealed that 94% of MSBs found in AC model synapse two postsynaptic spines from same dendrite. But, 28% MSBs from TBI models synapse two postsynaptic spines from different dendrite. This imply that the MSBs observed in motor cortex of AC model and TBI model might have different circuits for the processing the information.

PDF(Portable Document Format)와 XML(eXtensible Markup Language). 전자문서의 표준으로 서로 다른 방법론을 갖고 출발한 양 진영의 대결은 여전히 계속되고 있다. 최근 한국어도비시스템즈는 더욱 강력하고 새로운 기능들로 무장한 '애크로뱃(Acrobat)6.0'을 발표하면서 전자문서 시장에 대한 공세를 강화하고 있다. 이에 질세라 XML 진영에서는 ebXML, 로제타넷 등 XML 기반 응용솔루션에 대한 개발 및 영업에 더욱 박차를 가함으로써 부가가치 높이기에 적극적이다.
