'생각하는 과학' 활동이 중학생들의 기체 분자 운동 개념의 이해에 미치는 영향과 그 활동에 대한 인식 (Influence on the Understanding of the Gas Particles Behavior Concepts in 'Thinking Science' Activities of Middle School Students and Recognition on Its Activities)

  • 이 연구에서는 형식적 사고를 요구하는 '기체 분자운동'의 개념 이해에 형식적 조작기로의 인지가속을 목적으로 하는 '생각하는 과학' 활동을 사전에 적용했을 때 어떠한 효과가 있는지 알아보았으며 이 활동에 대한 학생들의 인식을 조사하였다. 교과서 내용 분석을 통하여, 기체 분자 운동의 개념 이해에 필요한 논리적 요소로 변인, 비례, 보상, 형식적 모형 등의 4가지 논리를 추출하였다. 실험 집단 학생들에게 4가지 논리와 관련된 9개의 '생각하는 과학' 활동을 처치한 후에 기체 분자 운동의 수업을 실시하고, 기체 분자 운동의 개념 이해에 대한 성취도 평가를 하였다. 기체 분자 운동 개념에 대한 실험 집단과 통제 집단간의 성취도는 t-검증 결과 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 성 별 분석에서는 사전 인지 수준을 공변인으로 한 공변량 분석 결과 실험 집단의 여학생이 유의미하게 성취도가 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 과학 성취도 평가의 논리 별 정답률에서는 변인 통제, 보상, 형식적 모형논리의 정답률이 통제 집단에 비해 높게 나타났으나 비례 논리는 거의 비슷하게 나타났다. 실험 집단의 '생각하는 과학' 활동에 대한 인식 조사 결과, 활동에 대한 인식이 긍정적일수록 성취도가 높게 나타났으며 과학적 사고력과 태도 영역이 기체 분자 운동의 성취도 사이에 상관관계가 있었다. 특히 구체적 조작기 후기(2B)의 학생들이 가장 긍정적 인식을 가지고 있었으며 성취도도 높았다. 학생들은 교과서에 나와 있지 않는 실험 소재를 다루게 되어 흥미로웠으며 실험 후 토론 시간을 가지면서 연구자가 된 듯한 느낌을 갖게 되어 '생각하는 과학' 활동을 통해 자신의 과학적 사고력이 향상된 것 같다고 답변하였다.

학력에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on factors Affecting Academic Achievement in a Nursing School)

  • The present study was undertaken to find the factors affecting academic achievement in a nursing school. 172 students were selected for this study and were divided into higher & lower 12 percent. Tools & measures used for this study were the interest test, personality test, test of self-concept, test of adjustment & school achievement. The major findings obtained from this study were as follows : 1. Factors affecting school achievement except intellectuality were thus : 1) Artistic interest, literary interest, scientific interest biological & scientific interest -physical affected the academic achievement . 2) Sociability, reasonability, depression & refractiveness affected the academic achievement. 3) Self criticism, total positive self-score, & personal self - score affected the academic achievement. 4) Adjustment to school, personal economics, health & value Morality affected the academic achievement. 2. Correlation between school achievement & interest, personality, self-concept or adjustment in the higher 81 lower group were thus; 1) There was a significant relationship between academic achievement & the following: artistic interest, scientific interest-biological, scientific interest-physical, out-door interest, refractiveness, sociability, responsibility, depression, self satis faction- score, personal self -score, social self - score, self behavior score, adjustment to school, health & values morality in the higher group. 2) There were no significant factors related with academic achievement in the lower group. 3. Difference or difference in relationship between higher & lower group in the interest, personality, self-concept & adjustment were as follows, : 1) There was a significant difference between higher & lower group in artistic -interest. literary interest, scientific interest-biological , out-door interest, sociability, depression, refractiveness, self criticism, total positive self score, personal self score, adjustment to school, personal economics, health & values morality. 2) There was a significant difference in relationships between higher & lower group in artistic interest, scientific interest, scientific 3) There was a significant difference in relationships between higher 8E lower group in artistic interest, scientific interest -biological, out -door interest , sociability, responsibility, refractiveness, depression, self identity score, self satisfaction score, adjustment to school, health, personality & value morality.

  • Purpose: By analyzing what kind of organizational reaction is shown by employees to corporate social responsibility (CSR), I want to propose a plan to maximize achievement(organizational commitment and productive behavior) within corporation. Methods: Regression analysis is used to analyze relationship between CSR awareness and achievement within corporation. Then structural equation model is used to check control effect of corporate member's participation in CSR. Results: It is proved that employee's CSR awareness has positive relationship with organizational commitment and productive behavior. It is shown that when employees have participated in CSR programs directly, effectiveness of relationship was especially higher for Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and innovative behavior. Conclusion: In order to increase organizational commitment and productive behavior of employees, corporation's social responsibility management, in other words ethical management must be used so their motivation can be increased and so they can directly participate in CSR programs which will increase effectiveness of organization.

주부들의 허영심 및 결혼만족도가 의복행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Vanity and Marital Satisfaction on Clothing Behavior)

  • This study investigates the effects of vanity and marital satisfaction on four aspects of clothing behavior. The data were collected from 258 housewives in Suwon and Seoul, and analyzed using factor analysis, cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, t-test, multiple regression analysis, and a reliability test. The results of this study were as follows. 1) Three factors of vanity were identified (concern for physical appearance, concern for achievement, and positive view of physical appearance/achievement). Based on these three factors, the respondents were classified into three clusters. 2) Three factors of marital satisfaction were identified (relationship with husband, satisfactory life, and unsatisfactory life). Based on these three factors, the respondents were classified into two clusters. 3) There were significant differences in four aspects of clothing behavior according to the vanity clusters. 4) There was only significant difference in the sex appeal of clothing according to the marital satisfaction clusters. In conclusion, vanity was an important variable to influence fashion, exhibitionism, body improvement, and sex appeal of clothing behavior. The marital satisfaction significantly affected exhibitionism and body improvement for clothing behavior.

청소년들의 라이프스타일과 의복구매행동 -대구지역을 중심으로- (The lifestyle and Clothing Purchase Behavior of Adolescents -Focused on Adolescents in Daegu-)

  • The purposes of this study were to classify adolescents by their lifestyles and to investigate the differences in clothing purchase behavior among lifestyle groups. The data were obtained from questionnaire completed 341 adolescents in Daegu area. The SPSS package was used for data analysis which included frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ${\chi}^2$ test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test. Lifestyles of adolescents were categorized into five factors such as clothing hedonic shopping orientation, positive activity, material orientation, frugality, digital orientation. Three clusters (achievement orientation group, ordinary group, economic orientation group) were developed by five factors of lifestyles. While the achievement orientation group had the highest purchase motives and used the most information sources, the economic orientation group had the lowest purchasing motives and used the least information sources. There were significant differences in clothing purchase frequency and average clothing expenditure among three clusters.

대학생의 허영심 유형에 따른 가격태도와 소매점 선택에 관한 연구 (Price Attitude of Apparel Products and Store Choice Behavior According to Vanity Type of College Students)

  • The objectives of this study were 1) to classify survey respondents according to vanity scales, and 2) to identify price attitude among the classified groups. The participants were 276 university students who were residents in Seoul. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, and one-way ANOVA. The vanity scales consisted of four factors; physical concern, physical view, achievement concern and achievement view. Based on these four factors, the respondents were classified into three clusters(interested, vain, and self-confident) as an attached group name. There were significant differences in the dimensions of materialism, price attitude and store choice behavior among the clusters. Marketing implications are discussed.

일 지역 고등학생의 흡연경험 관련 요인 (Factors Related to Smoking Behavior among High School Students)

  • Purpose: The study investigated factors related to the smoking behavior among 639 high school students in Geoje, Korea. Methods: Data collected by self-reported questionnaires was analyzed by the SPSS WIN 14.0 program with Chi-test, t-test, and multiple logistic regression analysis. Results: Smoking behavior differed by gender (p=.002), school type (p=.001), experience with alcohol consumption (p=.005), family harmony (p=.003), father's smoking (p=.001), academic achievement (p=.010), self-esteem (p=.010), stress (p=.004), and attitude to smoking (p=.0001). Smoking behavior was significantly associated with gender (odds ratio (OR)=0.66, 95% confidence interval (CI)=0.46-0.95), school type (OR=1.52, 95% CI=1.03-2.23), experience with alcohol consumption (OR=0.56, 95%CI= 0.39-0.82), academic achievement (OR=1.98, 95-I=1.20-3.29), attitude to smoking (OR= 0.76, 95%CI=0.69-0.84) and father's smoking (OR=1.59, 95%CI=1.11-2.29). Conclusion: Anti-smoking programs for high school students should especially consider those at higher risk (males in vocational high school with no drinking experience of drinking, lower academic achievement, favorable attitude to smoking, and whose fathers smoke). Community efforts to reduce adult smoking would be advantageous.

아버지와 어머니의 헬리콥터 부모역할이 고등학생의 진로준비 행동에 미치는 영향: 학업성패귀인과 진로결정자기효능감의 순차적 매개효과 (The Effect of Paternal and Maternal Helicopter Parenting on the Career Preparation Behavior of High-School Students: Sequential Mediation Effects of Academic Achievement Attribution and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy)

  • This study examined the sequential mediation effects of academic achievement attribution and career decision-making self-efficacy on the effect of paternal and maternal helicopter parenting on high-school students' career preparation behavior. A total of 285 (119 male and 166 female) Korean high-school students in the second grade participated in the study. Research variables were measured using the Career Preparation Behavior Scale (Kim, 1997), Helicopter Parenting Scale (LeMoyne & Buchanan, 2011), Attribution Questionnaire (Weiner, 1979), and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (Betz et al., 1996). To examine the sequential mediating effect, data analysis was performed using SPSS 29.0 and PROCESS MACRO (v4.2) Model 6. The results revealed no correlations between helicopter parenting and academic failure attribution. However, higher paternal and maternal helicopter parenting were found to indirectly reduce high-school students' career preparation behavior through lower internal academic success attribution (effort and ability) and higher external academic success attribution (task difficulty and luck), which reduced career decision-making self-efficacy. These findings can be employed to develop more effective intervention programs comprising career guidance for adolescents, which emphasizes the negative effect of helicopter parenting. This study expands the research field, as previous findings on helicopter parenting mostly focus on college students.

아동의 주의력 측정을 위한 기능성 게임의 개발과 검증 (Development of a serious game to assess attention for children)

  • 성인보다 주의 집중력이 낮은 아동의 인지력을 측정하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 기능성 게임은 아동의 동기와 주의집중을 높이는 효과적인 방법으로 아동의 인지력 측정을 위한 좋은 대안이 될 수 있다. 본 연구는 주의력 측정을 위해 사용되는 TMT(Trail Making Test)를 기능성 게임으로 제작하여 아동의 주의력을 측정하고 그 결과를 검증하고자 하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기능성 게임으로 제작된 TMT는 주의 속도와 선택적 주의를 측정하는 유형A와 주의 전환을 측정하는 유형B로 설계되었으며, 검사결과를 아동의 학업성취도와 연결하여 검사의 타당도를 검증하고자 하였다. 284명의 아동을 기능성 게임을 통해 주의력을 검사한 결과, 유형A의 반응속도(Reaction Time) 그리고 유형B의 정오율과 학업성취도간 상관이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 본 기능성 게임이 주의력의 여러 목표한 측정 요소를 잘 반영하고 있음을 시사한다. 기존의 단순한 결과만을 산출하는 지필검사와는 다르게 본 기능성게임은 주의와 관련된 여러 가지 행동 데이터를 제공해주고, 재미와 집중을 높여 아동에게 보다 긍정적이고 생태학적인 측면이 강화된 인지측정 도구를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

중·고등학생들의 인구사회경제적 특성, 건강관련행위 및 주관적 건강인지가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향 (Influencing factors to Academic Achievement according to Demographic and Socio-economic Characteristics, Health Behaviors and Health Status in Korean Adolescents)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine whether demographic and socio-economic characteristics, health behaviors and health status are related to academic achievement in Korean adolescents. Methods: Data from the 14th Korea Youth Risk Behaviors web-based Survey(KYRBWS) administered in 2018 were analyzed; 60,040 students in middle and high school participated in the survey. It was conducted frequency analysis, Rao-Scott chi-square test and multiple logistic regression analysis after adjusted for variables such as age, school grade. Results: The significant influencing factors on academic achievement were family economic status, living with parents, subjective health status, smoking experience, alcohol use experience, eating breakfast, sleeping, internet use during weekdays, depressive symptom(p<.001). The odds ratio for achieving higher academic achievement compared with those who never smoked was 1.50(p<.001). Conclusion: I found that students' undesirable health behaviors affect their academic performance. To improve academic achievement, I recommend intervention programmes such as school health promotion that reduce undesirable health related behaviors.
