The purpose of this study was to investigate user satisfaction by identifying the problems and suggesting Improvement plans of interior design in the accommodation area of Ro-Pax ships. First, the characteristics of Ro-P ax ships' accommodation area through previous studies and references, and then a field survey was conducted on seven kinds of Ro-Pax ships. Based on the field study, a questionnaire survey was administered targeting 38 experts involved in passenger ships who indicated that public facilities were the most unsatisfactory of interior design in accommodation areas. As a result of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, the satisfaction of color showed the highest influence on user satisfaction in accommodation areas, and required the standard of the interior design in accommodation areas. The suggested results of research were the types and layout of public facilities, improvement of color design, provision of interior design standard for accommodation areas, and improvement plans for interior design of Ro-Pax ships.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job-related accommodation experience on acceptance of disability, job satisfaction and life satisfaction of workers with disabilities. For this purpose, the panel survey of employment for the disabled(PSED) which conducted by Employment Development Institute was used to investigate the job-related accommodation experience, acceptance of disability, job satisfaction and life satisfaction of workers with disabilities who paid in workplace. Based on collected data, frequency analysis was used to examine the present state of reasonable accommodation, and one-way ANOVA was used to compare the acceptance of disability, job satisfaction and life satisfaction according to job-related accommodation experience. As a result of this study, still there are not enough accommodations or support for workers with disabilities, and duty-related accommodation and work time-related accommodation had positive effect on acceptance of disability, job satisfaction and life satisfaction.

In this paper, we propose a method to determine whether to install the accommodation facility of the multi-utility tunnel more effectively in the basic planning phase, and to set up an evaluation system to determine the configuration and kind of accommodation facility. For the configuration of the accommodation facility, 98 alternatives were analyzed for 7 accommodation facility. For the evaluation system of the accommodation facility, index related to feasibility and economic in basic planning phase were selected. The evaluation system classified as spatial, effective, and cost evaluation was presented reflecting the selected index, and AHP analysis was performed for weight setting. The results of this study will be helpful for users including designers to shorten the time and increase the efficiency in the process of determining accommodation facility of the multi-utility tunnel in basic planning phase.

This study discussed about how pseudo-thinking process actually occurs in the mind of the students, used Piaget's frame work of the assimilation and accommodation process. The data collection is conducted using Think-Out-Loud (TOL) method. The study reveals that pseudo thinking process of covariational reasoning occurs originally from incomplete assimilation, incomplete accommodation process or both. Based on this, three models of incomplete thinking structure constructions are established: (1) Deviated thinking structure, (2) Incomplete thinking structure on assimilation process, and (3) Incomplete thinking structure on accommodation process.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the potential asymmetry in price competition between the geographically defined submarkets of the lodging industry, namely the traditional and alternative accommodation facilities. Design/methodology/approach The study utilizes a spatial econometric model to empirically test for the hypothesized asymmetry in price competition. Property-level panel data on hotels and alternative accommodation facilities collected from a major online travel agency (OTA: Agoda.com) was used for this purpose. Findings Result of the analysis shows significant intra-segment spatial price competition among the properties, that is, within hotels and within alternative accommodation submarkets, respectively. However, the inter-segment competition was found to be asymmetric as hypothesized. Room rates of hotels are influenced by prices of geographically close alternative accommodations, but the reverse does not hold. Implications for practitioners and suggestions for future research are discussed along with the findings of the study.

Representative human models (RHMs), a group of digital human models which represent the people of the target population within a designated percentage (e.g., 95%), are used for ergonomic design and evaluation in virtual environments. The present study evaluated the grid approach, a RHM generation method, in terms of accommodation percentage. RHMs generated from the grid approach dramatically decreased the accommodation percentage of the target population as the number of anthropometric dimensions under consideration increased. For example, the accommodation percentages by RHMs generated by the grid approach were 95% for 3 key dimensions (selected among 10 anthropometric dimensions), 45% for 5 dimensions, and 10% for 10 dimensions. A standardized multiple regression analysis found that this decreasing accommodation percentage was caused by low correlations between key dimensions and other dimensions. The accommodation evaluation process used in the present study is applicable to evaluation of other RHM generation methods.

We studied on change of lens accommodation and pupil light reflex caused by VDT work in six women and compared them with those of other office works. The results were as follows. 1. In VDT work the accommodation contraction velocity decreased during the first 2-hr VDT task, then recovered markedly by the end of the one-hour lunch break, and decreased again by the end of the 2nd 2-hr VDT task. Changes of relaxation velocity showed similar pattern although it was less typical than that of contraction velocity 2. There was no marked change in accommodation contraction velocity and amplitude of accommodation in general office work and near-distance office work, and in the near-distance office work accommodation relaxation velocity decreased according to work load without recovery after lunch break. 3. Initial pupil diameter, initial pupil area of light reflex decreased significantly during VDT task only in VDT work and didn't recover after lunch break. These results suggest possibility that changes of accommodation contraction velocity, accommodation relaxation velocity, near point distance, and pupil diameter and area are useful in evaluating characteristics of VDT work. For this, more research adjusted individual differences, circadian rhythm, emotional stress needs.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the reasons for users to use accommodation applications and thefacts that affect reuse, and to suggest a design that can be used more conveniently for users. O2O services have diversified as more generations are enjoying leisure activities and the mobile market is expanding. Especially, the most important service in leisure activities is accommodation service. For the study, we surveyed about using accommodation application for 103 men and women in their 20s and 30s. Surveys shows that the main reason for users to reuse application is discounted services through events. Therefore, we will suggest anew design by collecting the inconveniences of users when using applications. We hope that the accommodation market can be expanded not only in Korea but also overseas markets by improving the services users, who use accommodation application, want though this study.

The study on the existing multi-utility tunnel has examined the general aspects related to the installation of multi-utility tunnel rather than the optimal design and feasibility analysis of accommodation facility in multi-utility tunnel. In the basic planning stage related to the introduction of multi-utility tunnel, it is difficult to determine accommodation facility due to lack of relevant indicators and data. In this paper, VE/LCC analysis method is suggested for the optimal alternative decision of accommodation facilities in multi-utility tunnel. The analysis of the items of individual accommodation facility and the value index for LCC costs were applied to the kind alternatives, and the priorities of each kind were analyzed. In addition, the domestic multi-utility tunnel and analysis result are compared. The result of this study will be helpful to shorten the time and convenience of the user in the process of determining accommodation facility including the first designers when introducing multi-utility tunnel.

In recent years, there has been rapid progress in different areas of vision science, such as refractive surgical procedures, contact lenses and spectacles, and near vision. This progress requires a highly accurate modeling of optical performance of the human eyes in different accommodation states. A new novel model-eye was designed using the Navarro accommodation-dependent finite model eye. For each of the vergence distances, ocular wavefront error, accommodative response, and visual acuity were calculated. Using the new model eye ocular wavefront error, accommodation dative response, and visual acuity are calculated for six vergence stimuli, -0.17D, 1D, 2D, 3D, 4D and -5D. Also, $3^{rd}\;and\;4^{th}$ order aberrations, modulation transfer function, and visual acuity of the accommodation-dependent model eye were analyzed. These results are well-matched to anatomical, biometric, and optical realities. Our corrected accommodation-dependent model-eye may provide a more accurate way to evaluate optical transfer functions and optical performances of the human eye.
