화학사고 원인분석을 통한 예방대책 수립에 관한 연구 (A Study on Prevention Measure Establishment through Cause Analysis of Chemical-Accidents)

  • Even if several chemical accident prevention systems such as PSM(Process Safety Management), RMP(Risk Management Plan), etc. have been carried out, many chemical accidents have still occurred at industrial plants in Korea. We describe the status of chemical industry and the trend of occurrence of chemical accidents in Korea. And this paper analyzes the recent chemical accidents in eight ways. These ways include chemical accident forms, ignition sources, sources of chemical equipment, human vs equipment/material causes, worker's working situation, employee scale, hazardous substances, week & time, fatalities of manufacture & contractor's workers. Finally we proposes the four representative prevention measures brought to result of cause analysis by accident statistics.

교차로 교통사고 자동감지를 위한 사고음의 음향특성 분석 (A Study on the Acoustic Characteristic Analysis for Traffic Accident Detection at Intersection)

  • Actually, The present traffic accident detection system is subsisting limitation of accurate distinction under the crowded condition at intersection because the system defend upon mainly the image information at intersection and digital image processing techniques nearly all. To complement this insufficiency, this article aims to estimate the level of present technology and a realistic possibility by analyzing the acoustic characteristic of crash sound that we have to investigate for improvement of traffic accident detection rate at intersection. The skid sound of traffic accident is showed the special pattern at 1[kHz])${\sim}$3[kHz] bandwidth when vehicles are almost never operated in and around intersection. Also, the frequency bandwidth of vehicle crash sound is showed sound pressure difference oyer 30[dB] higher than when there is no occurrence of traffic accident below 500[Hz].

사고나기 쉬운 자동차의 색 (The Color of The Car Accident-prone)

  • 우리는 자동차를 선택할 때 교통사고의 발생 확률과 관계 없이 자동차의 성능, 디자인, 가격, 안정성 등을 최우선으로 선택한다. 본 논문에서는 자동차의 색상별로 사고가 날 확률이 가장 높은 색부터 가장 낮은 색까지를 차례로 제시한다. 이는 색에서 진출색과 후퇴색의 차이로서 사고가 나기 쉬운 색은 실제보다 멀리있는 것처럼 보이는 후퇴색이 사고가 많이 나며, 실제보다 더 가까이 있는 것처럼 보이는 진출색은 사고가 적음을 알 수 있다.

상관분석을 응용한 산업재해 사례요인의 고찰 (A Study on Industrial Accident Cases by an Application of Correlation Analysis)

  • At present time, industrial accidents statistics are used as the basic data of the policy to prevent industrial accidents and the plan to applicate the industrial accident insurance. But this statistical data is not sufficient for the effective safety management because it is the expression of the itemized distribution and the frequency for the whole cases. This study tried to correlational analysis for each causes by defining investigational items as their accident parameters. The correlational analysis, between the unsafe action and status and their relational causes, was performed to analyze the occurrence causes of industrial accident. And to assume the severity of accident, the correlativity and independency between causes and direct causes which are defined hospital days subordinate parameter were analyzed. In addition, this study expressed numerically the effectiveness of subordinate parameters depended on the level of independent parameter by presenting the predictive model between dependent parameter and independent parameter, which have the categorical parameter, through the Logit analysis method.

  • The construction industry is one of the most prolific disaster-prone industries, particularly those that suffer from falling disasters compared to other industries. The safety accident at the construction site leads to social problems caused by massive loss of life and property, so it needs to be extra careful. The reason why falls are the most frequent accidents of the types of construction accidents is due to the analysis of the risk factors of safety accidents and the development of various construction methods. Therefore, in this study, the accident case for the fallen victims of construction site was analyzed and the risk factor was selected. Based on the safety expert survey, an importance analysis was performed. In conclusion, this study analyzes various risk factors that affect the occurrence of falls, identifies the importance of each factor, and presents basic data for safety accident prevention activities.

랜덤 포레스트 기법을 이용한 건설현장 안전재해 예측 모형 기초 연구 (Basic Study on Safety Accident Prediction Model Using Random Forest in Construction Field)

  • The purpose of this study is to predict and classify the accident types based on the KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency) and weather data. We also have an effort to suggest an important management method according to accident types by deriving feature importance. We designed two models based on accident data and weather data (model(a)) and only weather data (model(b)). As a result of random forest method, the model(b) showed a lack of accuracy in prediction. However, the model(a) presented more accurate prediction results than the model(b). Thus we presented safety management plan based on the results. In the future, this study will continue to carry out real time prediction to occurrence types to prevent safety accidents by supplementing the real time accident data and weather data.

베이지안 기법을 이용한 안전사고 예측기법 (Safety Analysis using bayesian approach)

  • We construct the procedure to predict safety accidents following Bayesian approach. We make a model that can utilize the data to predict other levels of accidents. An event tree model which is a frequently used graphical tool in describing accident initiation and escalation to more severe accident is transformed into an influence diagram model. Prior distributions for accident occurrence rate and probabilities to escalating to more severe accidents are assumed and likelihood of number of accidents in a given period of time is assessed. And then posterior distributions are obtained based on observed data. We also points out the advantages of the bayesian approach that estimates the whole distribution of accident rate over the classical point estimation.

  • 전력케이블 사고 발생시에는 사고원인을 규명 해야하며, 본 연구에서는 FMEA 방법을 이용하여 케이블 사고에 대한 자가원인 진단 시스템을 구축하였다. 자가원인 진단 시스템은 사고당시의 데이터 입력, 픽토그래프를 통한 사고형태의 표현, FMEA 방식을 적용한 사고확률 값으로 구성되어 있으며, 각 선택에 따라 사고원인에 대한 사고가능성이 결과로 나타나게 된다. 또한 실제 케이블 사고사례의 원인분석을 통해 자가원인 진단 시스템을 검증한 결과, 이 시스템은 실제 분석결과와 잘 일치되었다.

AHP를 이용한 건축건설공사 공종별 위험도 분석 (Risk Level Analysis of Architectural Work using AHP)

  • The highest fatal accident ratio was recorded in the construction industry. According to the industrial insurance premium rate & business type example, among the construction industry, the architectural work has the highest fatal and loss time accident ratio. Previous literature has investigated various aspects of accident occurrence and prevention in architectural work. However, those studied were limited in that they only focused on the fatal accident without considering the loss time accident. But non fatal accidents were recorded more than 50 times of fatal accidents. Therefore non fatal accidents must be controlled to lessen industrial accidents. Based on this, the goal of this study was to investigate the nature of the loss time accident and derive the risk index of work type in architectural work. In this study, opinions of safety experts were gathered and the risk index of work type was derived using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). And verification was accomplished by comparing the results of this study with the risk index derived by analysis of accident records. Results showed that the risk index of work type was significantly higher in steel frame work, temporary installation work, earth & foundation work, facilities work, concrete work. And statistical analysis for verification showed that coefficient of Pearson correlation was 0.686 and P-value was 0.001.

도시 및 지방 회전교차로 사고 발생 모형 (Urban and Rural Roundabout Accident Occurrence Models)

  • PURPOSES: The operational characteristics of roundabouts are generally influenced by location as well as traffic volume. The goal of this study is to develop urban and rural roundabout accident models and to discuss safety improvement guidelines based on the model. METHODS : To analyze accidents, count data models are utilized in this study. This study used accident data from 2010 to 2013 for 56 roundabouts collected from the Traffic Accident Analysis System (TASS) of Road Traffic Authority. Poisson and negative binomial regression models were developed for this study using NLOGIT 4.0. RESULTS : The main results are as follows. First, the hypotheses that there are distributional differences in the number of accidents and injuries/fatalities among rural and urban roundabouts were accepted. Second, Poisson and negative binomial regression accident models, which were all statistically significant, were developed. Seven independent variables, which were statistically significant, were adopted. Third, the common variable of models was evaluated to be traffic volume. CONCLUSIONS : This study developed two negative binomial roundabout accident models and suggested some accident reduction strategies. The results are expected to give some implications to the safety improvement of roundabout.
