  • This study explored the impact of beauty influencers' characteristics and product characteristics on new product acceptance intentions and studied the mediating effects of consumer trust in this process. A survey was conducted from February 22, 2021, to February 28, 2021, with Gen Y and Gen Z women in China, and 379 questionnaires were analyzed. The conclusions are as follows: First, the characteristics of beauty influencers are authenticity and expertise, similarity, attractiveness, interactivity, familiarity, and trustworthiness; product characteristics are cost, image, product quality, product perception, sales promotion, and sustainability. Second, partial beauty influencers' characteristics and partial product characteristics have a positive impact on consumer confidence and acceptance intention of the new product. Third, the mediating effect of consumer trust in the process by which beauty influencers' characteristics and product characteristics influence the intention of new product acceptance was determined. Therefore, when beauty companies use influencers in marketing, it is necessary to understand their characteristics, consider their professionality and authenticity, examine their reliability, and assess their ability to form connections with images and viewers that match their products. Additionally, to increase the acceptance intention of new products, companies should present the price of high-quality products, product sensibilities, and corporate images of products and establish measures that can positively affect consumers' acceptance intention of new products by combining them with the characteristics of beauty influencers.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the determinants of intention to borrow consumer credit of Vietnamese people by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and extending it with several variables, including anxiety, perceived trust, and perceived financial costs extracted and adapted from the existing literature. A questionnaire survey was administered in the big cities of Vietnam to a total of 602 consumers. Structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques have been employed to investigate the relationship among intention determinants to borrow. Findings show that perceived usefulness mediates the impact of subjective norms on the intention to borrow consumer credit. At the same time, subjective norms also directly influence the intention to borrow. Notably, anxiety, perceived trust, perceived financial cost, perceived ease of use have no significant influence on intention to borrow. Meanwhile, education level is confirmed to have a moderate influence on intention to borrow consumer credit of Vietnamese people. However, there is not enough statistical evidence about the influence of gender and marital status on the intention to borrow consumer credit in Vietnam. Based on the findings of the Vietnamese consumer credit market, we proposed some suggestions to promote the growth of the market in the future.

The study aims to find ways to cope with perceived risk and strategic measures of intention in order to increase the intention to continuous usage intention of Internet primary banks. For the analysis, interaction effect were conducted among a total of 457 surveys. As a results, First, perceived risks, acceptance factors and continuous usage intention of the customers of Internet primary banks were significantly correlated. Second, the types of perceived risks which have a significant effect on continued usage intention of Internet primary banks were found to be perceived financial and functional risks. Third, respect to moderating effects of moderator variables, usefulness was found to have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between perceived security risk and continuous usage intention. In addition, ease of use was shown to have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between each type of perceived risks and continuous usage intention. This study attempted to explore and seek strategies to reduce perceived risks and strategic plans for acceptance factors to increase continuous usage intention of Internet primary banks.

  • As education environment is changing rapidly and competition of education industry is more intensive, the importance of service view about education is increasing as a differential competitive advantage. This study attempted to investigate the impact of service convenience as a different competitive advantage on e-learning acceptance by using TAM. The purpose of this study is to examine how five-dimensional service convenience constructs(decision convenience, access convenience, transaction convenience, benefit convenience, post-benefit convenience) affect consumers' perceived usefulness, attitude and usage intention. For this study, data were gathered from respondents who bought or used e-learning services and analyzed by structural equation model. Among the five-dimensional service convenience constructs, two constructs(benefit convenience, post-benefit convenience) affected consumers' positive perceived usefulness, attitude and usage intention about e-learning service. The results show that management and investment to improve benefit and post-benefit service convenience make consumers' positive attitude and usage intention about e-learning service.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify various factors that could possibly influence special teachers' adoption intention towards robot-based education and to see how well those factors predict special teachers' adoption intention. To do this, questionnaire items were selected and reconstructed based on preceding research relating to Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). The survey participants consisted of 623 special school teachers, representing various types of special students and levels of their schools. Questionnaires with unfaithful responses were excluded, and a total of 590 questionnaires were analyzed. Data analysis was carried out through Exploratory factor analysis and stepwise multi-regression analysis. According to the results of study, factors that influence special teachers' acceptance intention towards robot-based education are perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, personal innovation, and social influence. Also, the most decisive factors affecting special teacher's acceptance intention were perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. These factors directly influenced special teachers' acceptance intention.

Research design, data, and methodology - We examine the role of airport self-service characteristics and access the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on both customer satisfaction and behavioral intentions towards SSTs. To do this, a survey is conducted with passengers having used self-service technologies(SSTs) at Incheon International Airport. A total of 400 questionnaires are then analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results - According to the results, of the self-service characteristics, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention were affected by optimism through perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and perceived enjoyment and by innovativeness and insecurity through perceived ease of use. Conclusions - According to the results of the study, the purpose of using TBSS in the airport is to save time and convenience. Therefore, it is necessary to closely analyze the differences in technology acceptance by age and generation, increase user self-efficacy, increasing satisfaction through effective management of cognitive and emotional waiting time will have a positive impact on behavioral intentions.

  • This study aims to determine the perceptions of Islamic Financial Cooperative (BMT) managers in the Indonesian BMT Association on the acceptance of core banking technology. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is used because it has simple theoretical characteristics (parsimony) and is supported by data (verifiability). This study develops the TAM model by integrating new variables -perceptions of maqashid sharia, perceptions of economies of scale, perceptions of market structure, and perceptions of technology procurement costs. These new variables are used to measure intention in using technology and actual usage in BMT operations. This study used PLS-SEM with smartPLS 3. The study was conducted in Central Java in six ex-Residency at 35 BMT with 300 respondents consisting of six levels of position level. The research found that maqashid sharia and market structure directly influenced the intention of BMT managers in using core banking technology. This new finding strengthens a theoretical model regarding the role of maqashid sharia in the acceptance of information technology in BMT. In addition, the perception of economies of scale has no significant effect on intention in using technology or its actual usage. The perception variable of technology procurement costs was found to have no significant effect on intention in using technology.
