This study is focused on mediating effect of academic motivation between the educational environmental factors on Self-determination Theory and Reward and Punishment Mark System. For the purpose of this study, a questionnaire survey uses a scale being developed through the educational environmental factors on self-determination, academic motivation, and academic achievement. The survey was conducted among 202 students in middle and high school in Seoul. First, autonomy of variables of educational environment based on self-determination theory has influenced on internal and external academic motivation, confidence makes internal and reasonable motivation high, and relationship makes demotivation low. Second, Reward and Punishment Mark System which has recently been replaced traditional punishment doesn't have influenced on academic motivation of students. Third, internal motivation has positively influenced on willingness to take classes and academic achievement analyzing the effect of academic motivation sub-factors on academic achievement. Therefore, this study suggests that autonomy, confidence, and relationship in self-determination theory make academic motivation and willingness to take classes high.

This research analyzes how operation system and method of barista private certification implemented in Korea influence on the academic satisfaction of coffee work skills and how such system and method has an effect on the economic effectiveness to utilize for the improvement of work performance skills and for job seeking and changing. For this purpose, author conducted a survey to coffee specialists who had obtained barista certification and who have been working in coffee related industry. The result shows that the operation system and method of coffee certification verification system has a partially positive effect on the academic satisfaction of work performance skills and economic effectiveness. The contents of the coffee related certification verification system as well as specialized and reliable systematic operation of such verification system have an influence on the academic satisfaction of work performance skills and have further influence on the economic effectiveness such as seeking or changing jobs. Therefore, the research on the professionalism and reliability of the qualification verification system must be continued.

KISTI(Korea Institute of Science and Technology) has developed ${\ulcorner}KISTI-ACOMS (KIST-Article Contribution Management System){\lrcorner}$ as a part of the national project for the informatization of academic societies, and distributed the system to academic societies for free since 2001. KISTI-ACOMS is a web-based system that automates the full process of academic paper review and journal publication and circulation for academic societies. KISTI have analyzed academic societies' demands for a paper review system for last three years and, after a thorough redesign and implementation, released KISTI-ACOMS 2.0 in september 2005. recently, there are many societies requesting the online paper review system for the informatization of their societies. korean academy of child health Nursing has decided to introduce KISTI-ACOMS 2.0 to meet current trends and KISTI customized KISTI-ACOMS 2.0 to reflect configuration and paper review process of Korean Academy of Child Health Nursing. This Paper investigates the functions of KISTI-ACOMS customized for the korea academy of child health nursing and describes necessary features for the future online paper review system.

Academic libraries in Korea have had more and more troubles in management due to the drastic increase in quantities and budgets for purchasing expensive international academic information resources. In this research, with a focus on the international electronic information resources, an attempt is made to overcome such difficulties in management of academic libraries in the following steps: First, the amount of budgets for purchasing resources and building collections for academic libraries is analyzed; Second, the current state of academic library consortia, both domestic and foreign, is reviewed; Third, the current administrative issues and strategic directions of domestic academic library consortia, including the KESLI Consortium of KISTI, ACE Consortium of KERIS, and Consortium of Korean Council for University Educations, are examined; and Fourth, based on the above collected information, a proposal is made to improve the collection and distribution system for international academic information resources in Korea.

Today, universities in Korea give a great effort to complement basic college scholastic ability of freshman. Maybe it could be unnecessary effort from university. However, we cannot just leave students who have poor academic performance about 10 to 30% in a university. Universities have to prepare to solve this problem. Thus government and universities investigate a lot of efforts but there is no guarantee. As a result, e-learning could be the best solution to complement poor academic performance of freshman and it also could be the best way to reduce financial burden of university. So, many universities introduce e-learning system and they also support professors to make e-learning content. We need to promote content usage and to improve overall operations. In this paper, we discuss poor academic performance problems under the current middle and high school education systems and review approaches to solve these problems. From this analysis, we propose the design of an effective e-learning system and a method of operation to complement students who achieve poor academic performance.

Central nervous system tumors are identified as tumors of the brain and spinal cord. The associated morbidity and mortality of cerebrospinal tumors are disproportionately high compared to other malignancies. While minimally invasive techniques have initiated a revolution in neurosurgery, artificial intelligence (AI) is expediting it. Our study aims to analyze AI's role in the neurosurgical management of cerebrospinal tumors. We conducted a scoping review using the Arksey and O'Malley framework. Upon screening, data extraction and analysis were focused on exploring all potential implications of AI, classification of these implications in the management of cerebrospinal tumors. AI has enhanced the precision of diagnosis of these tumors, enables surgeons to excise the tumor margins completely, thereby reducing the risk of recurrence, and helps to make a more accurate prediction of the patient's prognosis than the conventional methods. AI also offers real-time training to neurosurgeons using virtual and 3D simulation, thereby increasing their confidence and skills during procedures. In addition, robotics is integrated into neurosurgery and identified to increase patient outcomes by making surgery less invasive. AI, including machine learning, is rigorously considered for its applications in the neurosurgical management of cerebrospinal tumors. This field requires further research focused on areas clinically essential in improving the outcome that is also economically feasible for clinical use. The authors suggest that data analysts and neurosurgeons collaborate to explore the full potential of AI.

This study classified domestic and international systems by type, presenting their key features and examples, with the aim of outlining future directions for system development and research. AI-based learning assistance systems can be categorized into instructional-learning evaluation types and academic recommendation types, depending on their purpose. Instructional-learning evaluation types measure learners' levels through initial diagnostic assessments, provide customized learning, and offer adaptive feedback visualized based on learners' misconceptions identified through learning data. Academic recommendation types provide personalized academic pathways and a variety of information and functions to assist with overall school life, based on the big data held by schools. Based on these characteristics, future system development should clearly define the development purpose from the planning stage, considering data ethics and stability, and should not only approach from a technological perspective but also sufficiently reflect educational contexts.

This study aims to suggest a new evaluating system for academic books in the field of humanities and social sciences in Korea. The data comprised the evaluating systems for researchers' academic achievements at 27 Korean and overseas universities, and questionnaire from researchers. The findings showed that academic books were rated higher twice than articles in Korean universities with various criteria. Universities in the US had no standardized systems, but publishers evaluated academic books. The UK and France had authorized organizations, REF and HCERHE, to evaluate researchers' products, whereas, in Japan, departments evaluated them without fixed systems. About 84% of Korean researchers preferred external evaluation on academic books. It is proposed to establish associations' evaluation, 'more than 200 pages and ISBN', and qualitative approach. 200-600 points can be given on books in the correlation of universities, associations, and Korea Research Foundation.

Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the level of job stress and to determine factors influencing job stress among nurses currently under Academic Credit Bank (ACB) system. Methods: The participants were 153 nurses who has taken courses of ACB system. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires and then analyzed with t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple linear regression with SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: The score of job stress showed significant differences according to age, marital status, total period of clinical career, and nursing unit. Job stress had significant negative correlation to professional self-concept and organizational commitment. The factors influencing job stress were marital status, professional self-concept, and organizational commitment. Conclusion: The results suggest that various factors should be considered in development and implementation of programs to reduce the job stress of nurses currently under ACB system.
