본 연구는 6시그마 DMAIC 방법론의 정의(Define)와 측정(Measure) 단계의 기법들을 활용하여 대학도서관 멀티미디어 서비스 개선에 영향을 미치는 주요 변수들을 도출하였다. 이를 위하여 S대학교 중앙학술정보관의 사례를 중심으로 현장 사서들의 브레인스토밍, X-Y Matrix와 특성요인도 작성, 도서관 홈페이지를 통한 이용자 의견 분석, 이용자 인터뷰 등을 통하여 대학도서관 멀티미디어 서비스의 프로세스를 분석하고, 핵심 품질특성을 지표화하였다. 그리고 Process Map과 특성요인도를 통하여 멀티미디어 서비스에 영향을 미치는 잠재원인변수들을 도출하고, 도출한 잠재원인변수를 X-Y Matrix와 Pareto Chart에 의하여 우선순위화하여 멀티미디어 서비스에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로 '자료 선정 전담자 유무', '자료 선정주기', '독립된 멀티미디어실 운영 유무', '자료 배가 방법', '인기자료 안내 여부', '입수자료 통보 여부', '신간 자료 안내 방법', '구입주문처리 방법', '주문자료 진행사항 점검 주기', '자료 신청자 유형', '자료 신청 방법', '반납 시 자료 상태 점검 여부', '소장자료 목록 안내 방법', '연체자료 회수방법'의 14개 변수를 도출하였다.

디지털 융합을 위한 교육은 다양한 학문과 기술들이 컴퓨터를 중심으로 융합하는 것이므로 교육 범위와 방법이 매우 상이하다. 따라서 교육 계획과 강의전략을 정형화하기 어렵기 때문에 개념적인 정보를 제한적으로 추천하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 스피어만 상관 계수를 이용하여 교육 계획과 강의 전략을 제시하기 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 학계와 산업계의 요구를 기반으로 한 정보로부터 강의 전략 연관성을 찾아 서열화하고, 사용자의 상황과 특성에 적합한 강의 전략 정보를 목록으로 제공하여, 제한적인 개념적 정보 추천의 단점을 해결한다. 성능 실험은 기존의 서비스 시스템들과 비교하여 효과성을 측정하여 정확도와 재현율로 표현하였으며, 성능 실험 결과 정확도는 90.4%, 재현율은 77.6%로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the document delivery service(DDS) of the academic libraries and suggest its improvement model in Korea. DDS means providing copies of information requests in any format and from any source. And DDS is gaining in importance as libraries turn to 'just-in-time' access rather than 'just-in-case' collection to meet user information needs. By good fortune, rising journal subscription prices, declining financial resources, canceling some of journal subscriptions, electronic transmission technologies, and the rise of commercial document delivery services have allowed libraries to begin to deliver articles to users in a much more rapid and acceptable time frame. Therefore, the library paradigm for the 2000s must be the creation of new document delivery structures which capitalize on the access tolls and structures created by librarians during the past generations. First of all, library-based document service requires a close review of existing library-to-library delivery mechanisms, application of technology to transfer of facsimiles of materials and facilitated use of existing fee-based document sources. The ideal document delivery system would feature a transparent, seamless electronic service incorporating searching and browsing identification and marking of desired items, and transmission and fulfillment of requests. And requested items would be supplied from library collection, commercial suppliers, or other sources. But the future of DDS will succeed when physical resources, policies, personnel, and practices are organized to provide timely information delivery to users.

Purpose The purpose of the study is to identify the need of a mobile based library information and service delivery system in developing countries, identify the services that are possible to provide with the help of mobile phones and their applications, design a mobile based library information and service delivery system, and identify major challenges regarding mobile based library information and service delivery systems.Design/ Methodology/ Approach The research is exploratory in nature. This paper is based on a review of literature, survey information, and on the author’s own viewpoints. A comprehensive search of scientific literature has been done along with a survey for validating the necessity of designing mobile based library information and service delivery systems. Responses to closed-ended questions in particular on 7-point Likert scales were analyzed using the descriptive analysis techniques of SPSS 20.0 and responses to other closed-ended questions were analyzed using general statistics.Findings The research indicates that users of academic libraries, especially students and faculty members, have a positive notion regarding designing and implementing a mobile based library information and service delivery system. It also reveals user opinions regarding the possible problems associated with the design and implementation of a mobile based library information and service delivery system.Originality The paper explores mobile based library information and service delivery systems for better and faster service provision to its potential users.

The development of information technology are leading to the rapid evolution of SNS (Social Networking Services) in various directions and industries. Initially, SNS have been used as the form of networking between user's groups. Currently SNS has been developed towards multiple purposes and platforms such as the promotion and the advertising of a company. There are many SNSs including QQ, Weibo, and Wechat and so on in China. However, the use of companies in terms of advertising and information sharing with the customers do not meet the trend in China. Especially, there were little researches for Chinese travel agencies how to utilize SNS for attracting new customers and making them contribute to the firm's performance. In this study, we try to investigate the impact of the firm's characteristics and the usage of SNS on the performance of Chinese travel agencies. Based on Top 100 China travel agencies in 2009, we analyzed the relationships between firm's characteristics and the usage of SNS, and firm's performances in 2013. We expect that our study can contribute to the increasing academic and practical needs on the empirical evidence of the impacts of the SNS utilizations on the firm's performance.

Mobile commerce is defined as any direct or indirect transaction conducted and facilitated through a wireless telecommunication network such as payment, ticketing, auction and mobile banking. Despite the importance of mobile commerce, there have not been so many academic studies on the unique characteristics of mobile commerce environments. In this study, our research model is developed based on TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) to investigate the user's technology acceptance process in mobile commerce environment. The factors, such as ubiquity, compatibility, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, cost, security, attitude and behavior intention for mobile commerce were selected from pier study in information systems area. The data for empirical analysis of the research model is collected online-questionnaire of 167 mobile commerce users in South Korea. The hypotheses were analyzed using SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 7.0. The results of our study show that: (1) compatibility, perceived usefulness and security had influences on the attitude whereas perceived ease of use and cost did not have any significant impact on the attitude, (2) compatibility influenced perceived usefulness whereas perceived ease of use did not, and finally (3) ubiquity, perceived usefulness and attitude had considerable influences on intention for mobile commerce. Therefore, practitioners should focus on enhancing security, quality of contents and services as well as offering what mobile commerce users want. The results of this study may useful for academicians and practitioners alike.

본 연구는 ALA의 American Libraries 웹사이트에서 제시한 도서관 서비스 향상과 직원의 커뮤니케이션 및 협력 증진에 활용할 수 있는 10가지 방법에 대한 국내 대학도서관 사서들의 인식을 조사한 것이다. 이를 위하여 국내 25개 대학도서관의 156명의 사서를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 10가지 방법에 대한 각각의 필요성과 효과성, 난이성, 발전가능성 정도를 측정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 도서관에서 활용할 수 있는 10가지 방법 중에는 도서관 직원을 위한 지속적 기술훈련 프로그램 제공하기와 이용자에게 맞춤형 개인화서비스 제공하기, 이용자에 대한 도서관 공지사항을 문자메시지로 전송하기가 필요성과 효과성이 모두 높다. 둘째, 10가지 방법에 대한 난이도는 이용자에게 맞춤형 개인화서비스 제공하기와 특수주제별 위키 작성하기, 도서관 직원을 위한 지속적 기술훈련 프로그램 제공하기의 순으로 높다. 셋째, 10가지 방법에 대한 발전가능성은 도서관 직원을 위한 지속적 기술훈련 프로그램 제공하기와 도서관 홈페이지의 최신정보를 자동으로 트위터에 전송하기의 순이다.

이 연구의 목적은 우리나라 인문학자들의 전자정보원 이용행태를 포괄적으로 분석하고, 이를 근거로 대학도서관들이 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 방안을 제안하는 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 스물다섯 개 대학 소속 인문학 분야 교수 중 799명을 표본으로 확정한 후, 2007년 11월부터 2008년 1월 사이 우편 서베이를 실시하여, 모두 132개의 분석 가능한 설문을 수집하였다. 응답자들은 대체로 연구와 교육에 균등한 시간을 배분하며, 주로 단독연구를 수행하는 독자적 연구자들이다. 이들은 지난 일 년 간 수행한 연구를 위해 어느 정도 전자자원을 이용하였고, 대학도서관 전자 컬렉션을 정보원으로 사용하였으며, 대부분 텍스트형태의 전자자원에 의존하였다. 이들이 정기적으로 이용하는 전자정보원은 학술논문 입수 정보원을 제외하고는 개별 연구자마다 상이하여 분산되어 있었다. 인문학자들은 전자정보원의 접근과 이용편이성 등을 높이 평가하였으나, 내용의 제한 및 품질 등 문제점을 지적하였으며, 대체로 자신의 전자정보원 이용 및 검색 능력 등을 긍정적으로 평가하고 있었다. 여기에서는 대학도서관은 인문학자들을 위해 (1) 대학도서관 웹사이트의 주요한 내 외부 전자자원의 관문 역할 수행, (2) 진정한 전자자원의 관문으로서 단일경로 접근 및 통합검색 방법 제공, 및 (3) 도서관 내외부 전자자원 활용을 위한 "맞춤형" 이용교육 강화가 필요함을 제안하였다.

본 논문에서는 정보 서비스 기획 단계에서 시맨틱 기반으로 NDSL+NTIS 데이터베이스를 융 복합하여 국가R&D정보 내비게이션 서비스를 개발하기 위한 사용자 니즈 분석과 정보 시각화에 대해 알아본다. 사용자 니즈를 조사 분석하기 위해 산 학 연 연구자 중심으로 30명의 설문과 12명의 현장 인터뷰를 통해 여러 R&D 정보 서비스로부터 개선 방안을 마련하였다. 또한 새로운 정보 시각화 서비스를 설계하기 위해 대화형 내비게이션 타입의 국가R&D 정보 시각화 서비스를 제안하고 사용자 니즈 분석에 따라 페르소나와 화면 프로토타입을 작성하였다. 본 논문에서는 345,411건의 학술 논문과 620,55건의 공저자, 49,958건의 연구보고서를 NDSL에서 가져오고 187,466건의 국가R&D 과제를 NTIS에서 가져와서 융합하는 국가 R&D정보 융 복합 아키텍처를 설계하였다. 향후 본 논문에서 제안한 국가R&D정보 융 복합 아키텍처가 R&D 정보 융 복합의 선도 모델 및 표준이 되고 대화형 내비게이션 타입의 정보시각화 서비스가 사용성을 크게 향상시키기를 기대한다.

김대중도서관은 아시아 최초의 대통령도서관으로 25만여 점의 사료를 소장하고 있는 민간대통령기록관이다. 주로 김대중 전직 대통령의 생애, 근현대사, 민주화 등에 관련한 기록물을 수집하고 있으며 이를 관리하고 활용하여 사료사업, 전시사업, 연구사업 등을 진행하고 있다. 국내 민간대통령기록관은 기념재단이 주체가 되어 운영하고 있는 경우가 대부분이지만 김대중도서관은 고등교육기관이 운영하고 있다는 특이점이 있다. 이에 따라 기록물을 기반으로 하여 역사, 민주주의에 대한 교육적 역할을 수행하며 연구자에게 자유로운 연구 공간을 제공하고 기록물을 통한 연구를 지원할 수 있도록 하는 목표를 가지고 있다. 본 고에서는 교육기관의 부속기관이며 민간대통령기록관인 김대중도서관의 대표적인 기록정보서비스에 대한 사례를 소개하고 앞으로 대통령기록관의 과제를 제시하고자 한다.
