This study aims to analyze the impact of vocational training received by learning workers through the degree-linked work-study program on their learning outcomes. Specifically, we explore the causal relationship between various factors considered during university degree program admission and selection, and the average GPA (Grade Point Average) after admission. To achieve this, we conducted regression analysis and variance analysis using historical admission data and GPA records of 976 students from three undergraduate programs at a domestic K university that implements the degree-linked work-study model. Additionally, we included company information from publicly available databases that could potentially influence the academic performance of learning workers. Our analysis revealed significant causal relationships across various factors, including the classification of the high school attended, gender, family background, subject-specific grades in high school, duration of employment at the company, and age at the time of admission. Based on these findings, we anticipate that universities operating similar degree programs can enhance their selection procedures for learning workers. Furthermore, the results of this study can serve as foundational data for future policy recommendations related to degree-linked work-study programs.

GIS is the tool widely used for the practical solution of spatial problems in every region regardless of the language and ideology. In this paper research trends and tendencies of GIS in North Korea are reviewed compared with those in South Korea. For this purpose, academic publications on GIS in North Korea are surveyed and classified according to main subjects in GIS. Such classification by main subjects of GIS in North Korea are conducted on the basis of the classification of research trends and tendencies of GIS in South Korea. As a result, researches in North Korea are mainly focused upon such fields as geodetic surveying and measurement, map manufacture, atmospheric phenomena, agriculture and disasters, while there are few studies related to such fields as national GIS policy and circulation, GIS education, internet-based GIS, and traffic, to name but a few. Most parts of applied data are based on low and medium resolution image such as meteorological satellite images, Landsat images, and so on. This reflects the low level of the development of GIS DB infrastructure in North Korea.
The purchase of business services is a growing activity among finns but with little appreciation that the purchase of a service requires a modification of the decision process developed for the purchase of material goods. A taxonomy for purchasing business services is developed to create a matrix with company involvement and focus of service as dimensions. Business services are classified according to their focus on three aspects of the finn: property, people, and core business. Business services are also classified according to the degree of company involvement: high company involvement and low company involvement. A number of propositions are formulated based on insights derived from this taxonomy. The taxonomy results in six business service cells: facility support, equipment support, employee support, employee development, core business facilitator, and professional. Implications for managers considering a purchase in each category are explored. This study tests the research hypotheses delineated from the classification model and the purchasing process of business services. The strategic implications are suggested based on the findings for each cell of the classification model. This study concludes with a research agenda for further studies.
The present study investigated the effect of music intervention on the anxiety of children and adolescents using meta-analysis, and the specific research purposes were as follows. The targets of the present study were previous studies analyzed the effect of music intervention on anxiety collected the final 28 theses for academic degrees and five scholarly journal articles were used in the analysis. To examine the publication bias of the studies used in the analysis, funnel plot and fail-safe N were verified, and found the publication bias was not significant enough to influence the present study. The homogeneity test showed that the effect size was heterogeneous, and accordingly, a random effect model analysis was carried out and the overall effect size was found to be -1.034. The analysis on the difference in the effect showed that the effect size varied according to subject classification and intervention location for categorical variables and size for continuous variables.
The purpose of this study is to analyze NSSI (Non-suicidal Self-Injury) and upcoming papers to review research achievements and endpoints and current problems. Analysis data necessary for the study were collected through the classification procedure as domestic suspension during the mandatory period related to self-harm from 2010 to the present. As a result of analysis according to classification categories (general characteristics, study subjects, research variables, program utilization), first, domestic studies related to non-suicidal self-harm increased steadily through 2019 and 2022 after increasing in 2017 (three articles) showing shape. Second, changes in the characteristics of the research subjects began to appear. If previous studies had mainly focused on adolescents who experienced self-harm, it was expanded to early adulthood (college students), and the subjects of the study diversified to include those who had experienced self-harm cessation, counselors, and parents. Third, various research methods began to appear. Compared to 2017, when quantitative research was active, research was conducted that applied various qualitative research methods (narrative, phenomenology, grounded theory, meta-analysis, case study). Finally, discussion of the research results and suggestions for future research were added.

This study was practiced to investigate the existing study trends for Injinho that is numerously used for hepatobiliary diseases in oriental medicine. The studies selected from the domestic academic database included the following keywords in the title or abstract; 'Artemisia capillaris', 'Artemisia iwayomogi', 'Artemisia scoparia'. The studies considered were those published from January 1990 to May 2009. 198 studies were found to include the keywords related to the study subjects either in their title of contents or abstracts, and 104 studies among them were finally selected as subjects for this study. 81 studies among 104 studies(78%) were published between 2000 and 2009, while 23 studies(22%) were published between 1990 and 1999. Classification was proceeded according to study subjects as followed; 23 studies confirming hepatoprotective effect after artificial liver damage in a number of cells or the organ itself, 18 studies on anti-tumor effect, 12 studies on hyperlipidemia and fatty liver disease, and 4 studies on liver cirrhosis and hepatocyte regeneration. Furthermore, classification was conducted according to study methods as followed; 56 studies practicing in vitro, 33 studies practicing in vivo, 11 studies practicing both in vitro and in vivo. 2 studies on specific cases and 1 study on documentary records. The majority of studies report the affirmative effects of Injinho. However most study methods were restricted to in vitro and in vivo. Hereafter, case reports on various fields and multicenter clinical trials on Injinho is necessary.
The theory of seven emotions is a unique theory in oriental medicine which describes the mutual relationship between body and mind of human. Although, the term 'Seven emotions' was not clearly indicated in ${\ulcorner}$The Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic(黃帝內經)${\lrcorner}$, it is appeared in ${\ulcorner}$A Treatise on the Three Catagories of Cause of Diseases(三因方)${\lrcorner}$ written by Chen Yan(陳言) in South-Song Dynasty. It seemed that Chen Yan explained seven emotions as the internal etiologic factor according to the classification of seven emotions of ${\ulcorner}$Ye-Gi(禮記)${\lrcorner}$ under the academic influence during Song Dynasy which emphasized more on the standard of right and wrong rather than individual emotion. Meditation or consideration modulates the function of spleen and stomach and the metabolism of blood and body fluid and it also controls the various emotions and maintains the equilibrium of human body. Human emotions are influenced by the changes of nature and deeply related to time and space including social-environmental factors. The function and strength of seven emotions: joy, anger, anxiety, worry, grief, apprehension and fright are determined by the external stimulation as the causes of illness.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the level of burden and social support of mothers with Cerebral Palsy (CP) children, and to determine whether providing social support is an effective strategy to relieve the burden of those mothers. Method: From October to November 2007, the data were collected from 63 mothers with CP children who were admitted and treated for CP at Y rehabilitation center in Seoul. The data were analyzed with t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, and Stepwise Multiple Regression using SPSS 12.0. Results: Burden of mothers was related to the Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) of the CP children. Social support was negatively correlated and GMFCS was positively correlated with burden of mothers. Social support and GMFCS was statistically significantly related with burden of mothers with CP children by multiple regression analysis. Conclusion: There was a significantly negative correlation between social support and burden. It demonstrated that social support, an important factor relating to burden imposed on mothers of CP children, can be considered as an intervening variable which can contribute to decrease of burden. In addition, applying developmental screening measures are needed to decrease disability severity.
This study used data from the 15th (2019) Youth Health Behavior Online Survey. A study was conducted to investigate the relationship between oral health behaviors and drink intake and oral symptoms in adolescents. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS/WIN 25.0 program, a software for statistical analysis. Logistic regression analysis using oral symptoms as a dependent variable revealed that gender, school classification, academic performance, dental treatment experience, carbonated beverages, energy drinks, and sweet drink intake were associated with oral symptoms. Based on the above results, consumption of carbonated beverages, energy drinks, and sweet beverages was found to have a negative effect on oral symptoms. In the future, it is thought that oral health education related to drinking intake will be needed by setting guidelines for sugar intake.
