  • The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of the Orff Approach to music education programs on singing ability, the ability to play musical instruments, physical expression ability, musical improvisation ability as well as overall musical expressiveness in 5 year old children. The test subjects for this study consisted of fifty-eight children. They were arbitrarily assigned to the experimental group of 31 children and the control group of 27 children. The experimental group was engaged using the Orff music education program for a total of 16 sessions, while the control group conducted music activities according to the annual music education plan of M kindergarten. The main results of this study were as follows : The Orff Approach to music education program was effective in improving abilities in the sub-factors of the four kinds of musical expression ability (singing, playing musical instruments, physical expression and musical improvisation) as well as overall musical expressive abilities. These results indicate that the Orff Approach to music education programs can create positive effects in the developing musical expressiveness of young children.

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the influences of maternal attitude toward child emotional expressiveness, young child attachment stability, and emotion regulation ability on problematic behaviors. The participants of this study consisted of 279 children (age 5), and their mothers, and 48 teachers. Methods: The data was analyzed by means of t -test, Pearson correlation, confirmatory factor analysis, and SEM analyses. Results and Conclusion: The major findings were as follows. First, higher maternal attitude toward child emotional expressiveness was associated with better child attachment stability. Second, higher child attachment stability was associated with better child emotion regulation at home and lower problematic behavior. Third, higher child emotion regulation at home and in the classroom was associated with lower problematic behavior. Fourth, maternal attitudes toward child emotional expressiveness directly impacted levels of problematic behavior. Fifth, child emotional regulation fully mediated the effect of attachment stability on problematic behavior.

  • This study examined the influence of mothers' and children's emotional expressiveness on children's social competence. Sixty-five kindergarten children and their mothers were observed in a lab setting which included 5 free play and 5 task episodes. The children's and mothers' behaviors during these episodes were videotaped and rated by two coders in terms of emotional expressiveness, sociability to others, ability to regulate frustration, compliance, and autonomy. Intercoder reliability between the two coders for each behavioral category ranged from .84 to .99. The results showed that children's social competence was significantly influenced by their positive expressiveness, indicating that children with higher expressiveness were more sociable to others and less frustrated in a stressful situation. Significant relationships were also found between mothers' and children's negative expressiveness, and children's compliance and autonomy. In particular, the consistency between mothers' and children's levels of negative expressiveness significantly predicted the children's compliance and autonomy. The socialization of emotion between mothers and children was discussed, as was the relationship between emotional and social competence. Suggestions for future study were also presented.

The data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and independent sample t-test using SPSS 23.0 program. The results of this study are as follows: First, the negative emotionality of children was significantly different according to the gender of the child, and mothers' emotional expressiveness was significantly different according to the presence of siblings. Second, it was found that mothers of children with higher negative emotionality expressed more negative emotions than children with lower negative emotionality. Third, the children's interpersonal problem solving skills did not show any difference depending on the children's negative emotionality.

  • XML is the new universal format for structured documents and data on the World Wide Web. As the Web becomes a major means of disseminating and sharing information and as the amount of XML data increases substantially, there are increased needs to manage and design such XML document in a novel yet efficient way. Moreover a demand of XML Schema(W3C XML Schema Spec.) that verifies XML document becomes increasing recently. However, XML Schema has a weak point for design because of its complication despite of various data and abundant expressiveness. Thus, it is difficult to design a complex document reflecting the usability, global and local facility and ability of expansion. This paper shows a simple way of modeling for XML document using a fundamental means for database design, the Entity-Relationship model. The design from the Entity-Relationship model to XML Schema can not be directly on account of discordance between the two models. So we present some algorithms to generate XML Schema from the Entity-Relationship model. The algorithms produce XML Schema codes using a hierarchical view representation. An important objective of this modeling is to preserve XML Schema's object-oriented concepts such as reusability, global and local ability. In addition to, implementation procedure and evaluation of the proposed design method are described.

Eight of his housing project which are deemed important in the historical development of housing he been selected for the purpose their elevations plans loggie and interiors are analyzed and evaluated. Through this study the followings are realized ; $\circled1$ The rationality of his interior space comes from Le Corbusier's housing projects. $\circled2 His expression of elevations has developed from Louis. I. Kahn's language and Carlo Scarpa's technique. $\circled3$ The rationality of Corbusier's houses and expressiveness of Kahn's and scarpa's projects together led to his functional solution of internal program an and the creative external images of his own. $\circled4$ The originality of this house results from his creative vision and ability to reinterpret the existing expression and principles in the light of time and space.
