  • 전력 계통에서 고장이 발생하게 되면 이를 제거하기 위해 차단기가 동작하게 된다. 차단기가 동작하게 되면 선로가 차단되고 건전상과 고장상 사이의 정전 현상에 의해 아크현상이 발생하며, 이러한 현상은 송전 선로에서 일시 사고의 형태로 가장 빈번하게 발생하는 현상이다. 따라서 일시고장의 주요 현상이 되는 아크를 정확하게 파악하고 이해하는 것은 송전 계통에서 가장 중요한 과제 중 하나라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 다양한 아크모델 중 ZnO 아크 모델을 ATPDraw를 통해 구현하였으며 이를 765kV 송전선로에 연결하여 고장 발생각 변화에 따른 전압 특성을 분석하였다.

  • This paper analyzes a asymmetry current with SFCL (Superconducting Fault Current Limiter) operation during transient period, when a fault occurs in power systems. The principle of asymmetry current nature is reviewed and asymmetry components reduction with SFCL operation is explained. To verify the performance of SFCL, a EMTP/ATPDraw model of SFCLs using MODELS language developed and simulated. Throughout the simulation, results presents the main factors for reducing the asymmetry component of fault current are not a quenching time, but a limiting resistance of SFCL and fault initiated angle.

  • Scott 결선 변압기는 3상전원에서 단상부하를 공급해야하는 계통에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 특히 전기철도가 이에 해당되며 국내에서는 전기철도의 화장으로 Scott변압기가 154kV급의 송전계통에 연계되어 설치 운전되고 있다. Scott변압기의 특성상 단상인 부하측 또는 3상인 전원측에서 사고 발생시 각상에 흐르는 불평형 사고전류의 예측이 어려워 관련기기의 선정과 각종 보호계전기의 정정이 쉽지 않았으며 과도현상 해석도 쉽지않았다. ATP(Alternative Transient Program)는 전력계통의 과도현상뿐만 아니라 단락 및 지락과 같은 정상상태 해석 및 고조파 분석도 가능하며 그래픽 유저 인터페이스를 위한 ATPDraw도 개발되어 데이터 입력과 사용법이 보다 간편하게 되었으며, 출력파형을 위한 PlotXY도 개발되어 계산결과를 다양한 형태의 그래프로 출력할 수 있게 되었다. 무엇보다도 User Group에 가입하면 무료로 모든 프로그램을 사용할수 있는 장점도 있다. 본고에서는 ATP를 사용하여 Scott변압기의 모델링과 이를 통한 단락 및 지락 사고 둥의 해석 사례를 소개하였다.

  • This paper describes the overvoltage of branch line in underground distribution systems when the direct lightning surge strikes on conductor of overhead line. Distribution systems are very complex because that includes so many branch lines, transformers, switches and so on. Therefor model systems consist of overhead distribution lines, underground cable include branch lines, lightning source and switches. Those are established by EMTP/ATPDraw. Simulation analyzes surge behavior on branch lines considering various conditions in underground distribution systems. Simulation results shoe overvoltage with location in various cases.

  • Recently, electrical demands increase rapidly in metropolitan areas according to the extension of urban areas. Therefore underground transmission lines are getting expanded. This paper presents the rapid and accurate algorithm for fault discrimination and fault location in underground transmission lines. This paper uses fuzzy logic method using voltage and zero sequence for fault discrimination. And this paper uses travelling wave and wavelet transform for fault location. To prove the performance of the algorithm, it test algorithm with signal obtained from ATPDraw simulation.

  • This paper presents the rapid and accurate algorithm for fault discrimination in transmission lines. When faults occur in transmission lines, fault discrimination is very important. If high impedance faults occur in transmission lines, it cannot be detected by overcurrent relays. The method using current and voltage cannot discriminate high impedance fault. Because of this reason this paper uses voltage and zero sequence current, and the proposed algorithm uses fuzzy logic method. This algorithm uses voltage and zero sequence current per period in case of faults. Single line ground fault and three-phase fault can be detective using voltage. Two-line ground fault and line to line fault and high impedance can be detected using zero sequence current. To prove the performance of the algorithm, it test algorithm with signal obtained from ATPDraw simulation.

  • Sheath circulating current rises from the change of sheath mutual impedance which is caused by imbalanced cable system, and different section length between joint boxes. However, mixed burying typo and imbalance section length take many parts of main reasons of sheath circulating current increment in domestic underground transmission power cables. Therefore, the increment reason and variation characteristics of sheath circulating current is analysed with simulation using EMTP/ATPDraw and measuring data of practical cable system which has a problem of exceeding sheath circulating current in this paper.

  • This paper presents the influence of the lightning overvoltage and the shielding effects of overhead grounding wire on the DC railway system. Modeling of Railway system is established in ATPDraw to perform simulation. The result of simulation reveals that the shielding effects of overhead grounding wire has over 90% than the case which has not it. Therefore it is evaluated that overhead grounding wire should be installed in the DC railway line.

  • This paper describes the effect of transient state in underground transmission and distribution lines installed together in the same tunnel. Two systems installed in the same tunnel are operated by the common grounding. This paper analyzed that how much one of the two kinds of systems influences the other systems during the transient state by EMTP/ATPDraw. Single line-to-ground fault and lightning surge were selected in transient state condition. These cases were simulated variously according to the variation of common grounding magnitude, fault location and lightning surge magnitude. It is evaluated that the analyzed results will be used for establishment and operating materials of common grounding in the same tunnel.
