스마트폰이 대중화되면서 도서관 정보에 대한 모바일 수요가 증가하고 있고, 모바일 도서관 서비스는 '선택이 아닌 필수'가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 4개 대학도서관 및 미국 ARL 소속 56개 대학도서관이 구축한 모바일 웹, 국내 대학 및 대학도서관이 개발한 모바일 앱 42개, 미국 ARL 소속 대학 및 대학도서관이 개발한 모바일 앱 18개를 대상으로 모바일 도서관 서비스의 사례를 분석하였다. 그리고 국내 4개 대학도서관 및 미국 ARL 소속 56개 대학도서관의 모바일 웹사이트를 대상으로 모바일OK 테스트를 실시하여 모바일 웹 접근성을 평가하였다. 국내 대학도서관은 이용자의 모바일 정보 수요를 반영한 핵심 콘텐츠 위주로 모바일 웹사이트를 구축하고 이용자가 사용하는데 불편이 없도록 모바일 웹 접근성 확보를 제안하였다.

본 연구는 국내 대학도서관의 현황을 파악하고자 국내 57개 주요 대학과 북미 116개 주요 대학의 도서관 통계를 각각 학술정보통계시스템(Rinfo)과 연구도서관협회(ARL) 통계를 활용하여 비교하였다. Rinfo와 ARL 통계에서 유사성이 높은 12개 지표를 비교한 결과, 국내 주요 대학의 도서관은 '소장 장서 수', '전자책 수', '도서관 직원 수', '자료 구입비', '상호대차 신청 건수', '상호대차 제공 건수', '이용자 교육 횟수', '이용자 교육 참가자 수' 측면에서 북미 주요 대학에 비해 열악한 것으로 나타났다. 한편 '연간 도서관 이용자 수', '참고 트랜잭션(교류) 건수', '관외 대출 건수', '원문 제공 건수'에 있어서는 국내 대학이 북미 대학의 현황에 비해 높은 수치를 보였는데, 이들 지표에 대해서는 ARL과 Rinfo 간의 정의나 작성방식에 부분적으로 차이가 있어 결과 해석에 유의할 필요가 있다. 이 연구를 통해 대학 교육과 연구경쟁력의 핵심 요소인 국내 대학도서관에 대한 국가 및 대학 차원의 관심과 지원 확대가 필요함을 알 수 있었으며, 나아가 Rinfo 지표에 대한 체계적 관리 필요성도 확인할 수 있었다.

연속적인 생산공정에서 꾸준하면서도 작은 품질의 변화를 신속하게 탐지하는 통계적 절차로서 누적합(CUSUM) 관리도를 많이 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 누적합 관리도의 평균런길이를 근사하는 방법과 누적합관리도의 통계적 설계, 즉 관리상태에서의 평균런길이가 일정한 값으로 고정되었을 경우 이를 만족하는 결정구간을 설정하는 방법을 제시한다. 또한 이 방법을 관측값이 정규분포와 지수분포를 따르는 경우에 적용시켜 그 정확성을 비교하고 있다.

The synthetic control chart (SCC) proposed by Wu and Spedding (2000) is to detect shifts in the process mean. The performance was re-evaluated by Davis and Woodall (2002), and the steady-state average run length (ARL) performance was shown to be inferior to cumulative sum (CUSUM) or exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) chart This paper proposes a simple adaptive scheme to improve the performance of the synthetic control chart. That is, once a non-conforming (NC) sample occurs, we investigate the next L-consecutive samples with larger sample sizes and shorter sampling intervals. We employ a Markov chain model to derive the ARL and the average time to s19na1 (ATS). We also propose a statistical design procedure for determining decision variables. Comprehensive comparative study shows that the proposed control chart is uniformly superior to the original SCC or double sampling (DS) Χ chart and comparable to the EWMA chart in ATS performance.

This papeer proposes a general approach of the multivariate expontially weighted moving average(MEWMA) chart, in which the smoothing matrix has full elements instead of only diagonal elements. The average run length (ARL) properties of this scheme are examined for a diverse set of quality control environments and the information to design the chhart is provied. Performance of the scheme is measured by estmating ARL and compared to those of two group cumulative sum (CUSUM) chats. The comparison resullts show that the MEWMA chart can improve its ARL performance in detecting a small shifts out-of-control in the start-up stage, the general MEWMA chart of a full smoothing matrix appears to offer an exceptional protection aginst departures from control in the process mean.

In this article, we will compare the performance of the mean control chart, the median control chart, the transformed mean control chart, the transformed median control chart, and the precedence control chart by simulation study. For control charts with transformed data, Yeo-Johnson transformation is used. Under the in-control condition, ARL's in all control charts coincide with the designed ARL in the normal distribution, but in the other distributions, only the precedence control chart provides the in-control ARL as designed. Under the out-of-control condition, the mean control chart is preferred in the normal distribution and the median control chart is preferred in the heavy-tailed distribution and the precedence control chart outperforms in the short-tailed distribution.

In this paper we establish bivariate exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) control charts for autocorrelated processes using residual vectors. We first derive the residual vectors, their expectation, variance-covariance matrix, then evaluate the control chart based on the average run length (ARL).

In this paper, we propose EWMA control charts using the life time data for the system with the constant failure rate, which were drawn from the fixed sampling interval without replacement(with replacement), and investigate the power of detection of EWMA by comparing ARL of EWMA control charts with one of Shewhart control charts.

A new method for approximating the average run length (ARL) of cumulative sum (CUSUM) chart is proposed. This method uses the conditional expectation for the test statistic before the stopping time and its asymptotic conditional density function. The values obtained by this method are compared with some other methods in normal and exponential case.

Cumulative sum(CUSUM) control charts for monitoring dispersion matrix under multivariate normal process are proposed. Performances of the proposed CUSUM charts are measured in terms of average run length(ARL) by simulation. Numerical results show that small reference values of the proposed CUSUM chart is more efficient for small shifts in the production process.
