  • This paper made an induction heating inverter. The inverter is the $20\~40[kHz]$ a resonant inverter which uses a high frequency. We use this inverter and use induction heating. A phasor shift ordered a gate signal to adjust an inverter's output. We verified an output waveform according to the situation of a gate signal through the simulation. We made the inverter really and got the result.

Noncentral F-Distribution for an M-ary Phase Shift Keying Wedge-Shaped Region

  • This letter presents an alternative analytical expression for computing the probability of an M-ary phase shift keying (MPSK) wedge-shaped region in an additive white Gaussian noise channel. The expression is represented by the cumulative distribution function of known noncentral F-distribution. Computer simulation results demonstrate the validity of our analytical expression for the exact computation of the symbol error probability of an MPSK system with phase error.

  • In this paper, we consider an optimal control problem of a nonlinear stochastic system. Dynamic programming approach is employed for the formulation of a stochastic optimal control problem. As an optimality condition, dynamic programming equation so called the Bellman equation is obtained, which seldom yields an analytical solution, even very difficult to solve numerically. We obtain the numerical solution of the Bellman equation using an algorithm based on the finite difference approximation and the contraction mapping method. Optimal controls are constructed through the solution process of the Bellman equation. We also construct a test case in order to investigate the actual performance of the algorithm.

  • This paper presents an LMI-based method to design sliding mode observers for a class of uncertain systems. Using LIs we derive an existence condition of a sliding mode observer guaranteeing a stable sliding motion. And we give explicit formulas of the observer gain matrices. We also consider sliding mode observer design problems under an α-stability constraint or an LQ performance bound constraint. Finally, we give a numerical design example.

  • An audit tracer is one of the last ways to defend an attack for network equipments. Firewall and IDS which block off an attack in advance are active way and audit tracing is passive way which analogizes a type and a situation of an attack from log after an attack. This paper explains importance of audit trace function in network equipment for security and defines events which we must leave by security audit log. We design and implement security audit system for secure router. This paper explains the reason why we separate general audit log and security audit log.

  • This paper presents a code generation method and an effective handling algorithm of ingeger constant multiplication for RISC machines in compiler design. As RISC Architectures usually use faster and more simply formed instructions than CISC's and most RISC processors do not have an integer multiplication instruction, it is required an effective algorithm to process integer multiplication. For the proposed code generator, Portable C Compiler(PCC) is redesigned to be suitable for an RISC machine, and composed an addition chain is built up to allow fast execution of constant multiplication, a part of integer one whicch appears very frequency in code generation phase.

  • An electroenzymatic system to oxidize veratryl alcohol of on electrodes with in-situ generated hydrogen peroxide was studied. We investigated hydrogen peroxide generation, current efficiency, and veratryl alcohol oxidation in the electrode system at various conditions. The reaction rates of veratryl alcohol oxidation were compared in an electrochemical, an electroenzymatic, and an usual biochemical systems to prove the concept of electroenzymatic oxidation.

An estimation of the treatment eect for the right censored data

  • In this article, we propose an estimation procedure for the treatment eect for the right censored data. We apply the least square method for deriving the estimation equation and obtain an explicit formula for an estimation. Then we consider some asymptotic properties with derivation of the asymptotic normality for the estimate. Finally we illustrate our procedure with an example and discuss some interesting aspects for the estimation procedure.

  • This paper describes an application of an air-pulse actuator for vibration control of a framed structure. Dynamic characteristics of the prototype actuator that utilizes an air-jet reaction force pulsated by an electromagnetic valve were investigated to use it as a control actuator. Using a control law based on the sliding mode control theory, experiments of the vibration control were carried out. The experimental results verified the validity of the actuator performance.

  • An acoustic ranging system was applied for reckoning the location of an agricultural vehicle in the field. The system has a number of fixed stations and a mobile station such as an agricultural vehicle.
