Research has consistently reported a strong association between spouse abuse and problem drinking. The primary aim of this study was to examine the role of spouse abuse as mediator between the husband's problem and wife's problem drinking. Data from 1st year Korea Welfare Panel were used for the analysis. Subjects in this study consisted of 3,284 male household who aged between 19 years old and 64 years old. The statistical significance was tested by SPSS 18.0, AMOS 18.0. The findings of the study were as follows: First, husband's problem drinking were significantly affected to the wife's problem drinking. Second, there was a strong association between husband's problem drinking and spouse abuse. Third, spouse abuse worked as mediators between the husband's problem and wife's problem drinking. Based upon these findings we suggest to develop an integrated substance abuse-domestic violence treatment program. The implications and limitations of these findings were discussed, and directions for future studies were also proposed.
The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of emotional connection with parents, social support, and isolation on unmarried mothers' child-rearing efficacy. The subjects of this study were 194 unmarried mothers. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, and Pearson's correlation using the SPSS 12.0 program. The test of the theoretical model was performed with an analysis of the correlational matrix in the AMOS 7.0 package for path analysis. The results of this study were as follows: First, the number of adult unmarried mothers was higher than that of teen mothers. Most unmarried mothers had a in low monthly income-, were unemployed, and received economic assistance from the government or social welfare institutions as a major source of their income. Their decision to have a child were for the following reason: the desire to have a child, fear of having an abortion, belief that abortion is a crime, and uncertainty about which decision to make, etc. Second, the women's emotional connection with their parents had a direct effect on social support. Social support had a direct effect on isolation:,- however, it did not have a direct effect on parenting efficacy. Third, the women's emotional connection with their parents had a direct effect on isolation. Isolation had a direct effect on parenting efficacy. Fourth, social support mediated by the women's emotional connection with their parents had an indirect effect on isolation and child-rearing efficacy. Isolation mediated the women's emotional connection with their parents and had an indirect effect on child-rearing efficacy.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify from the International Classification of Functioning model, factors influencing quality of life in elderly persons and to describe the concrete pathway of influence and the power of each variable. Methods: The sample included 334 elders who lived in 5 districts of D Metropolitan City. A structured questionnaire was used and the collected data were analyzed for fitness, using the AMOS 18.0 program. Results: This model was concise and extensive in predicting the quality of life of elders. The research verified the factors influencing quality of life for elders as direct factors such as activity of daily living (ADL) (${\beta}$=.13, t=2.47), leisure activity (${\beta}$=.55, t=5.04), social disengagement (${\beta}$=-.25, t=-2.25), and depression (${\beta}$=-.62, t=-10.86). Indirect factors including economic status (${\gamma}$=.17, p=.009), type of residence (${\gamma}$=.19, p=.004), ADL (${\gamma}$=.12, p=.027) were important factors in predicting quality of life for elders. These variables explained 75.6% of variance in the prediction model. Conclusion: The findings indicate a need for the nursing scientific community to develop intervention programs considering these variables to improve the quality of life for elders.
Purpose - Domestic franchise market has been grown steadily, reaching 50 trillion won in sales and 3,360 franchise headquarters in 2014. A franchise system is an effective business system for the franchisees to lower the failure rate due to the fact that the inexperienced entrepreneurs are supported by their headquarters through the franchisee contract. However, there are also conflicts between franchiser and franchisee behind the quantitative growth of domestic franchise industry. Therefore, it is very important to structure the causes of conflicts and to examine the effect of factors on the relationship commitment and performances. Research design, data, and methodology - In this study, the author divides the composite incompatibility between the franchise and the franchisee into goal incongruity, domain dissensus, and perceptual differences, and examines each dimension to the relationship with commitment and performances. To verify the proposed research model and test hypotheses, the author selected 200 franchise responses in food and beverage industry. The data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS structural equation modeling program. Results - The empirical findings provide goal incongruity and perceptual differences have a negative effect on the affective commitment, but not the calculative commitment. In addition, affective commitment and calculative commitment are found to have a positive effect on re-contractual intention and extended brand shop running intention, respectively. Affective commitment have a stronger effect on re-contractual intention than calculative commitment. Conclusions - First of all, the fact that goal incongruity and perceptual differences negatively affect the affective commitment, but it does not affect the calculative commitment. It means the relationship commitment in distribution channel are multi-dimensional concept that may be attributed to emotional or affective dimensions but may exist in terms of necessity or power-dependence. Second, the level of relationship commitment such as affective and calculative commitment to franchise headquarters positively affects the re-contractual intention and franchiser's extend brand shop running intention suggest that franchiser should encourage and support existing franchisee's commitment. Third, the fact that affective commitment has a greater effect on relationship performance than calculative commitment means to induce franchisee's affective commitment and to prevent the inconsistency between goals and perceptual differences.
The purpose of this study family functioning and self-identity as a mediating effect on the impact of school life adaptation were investigated. This aspect of the study, panel survey was used to researchers from the Korea Youth Policy and their parents of about the consciousness and family awareness, the youth of 6, 979 people. Youth Policy Institute of Korea analyzed the panel. frequency using SPSS program, AMOS using factor analysis, path analysis was performed. The following results were obtained. First, the family of functions of the sub-factors and school life adaptation sub-factors had a significant correlation with each other. Second, the youth's family function in school life adaptation had a significant impact which parameters, excluding self-identity. Third, the family functions as a self-identity parameter had a significant impact on school life adaptation.
Purpose - this research is to examine the relationship between Franchise's experiential value, lovemarks, respectful recognition, and brand loyalty focusing on the control variables. Control variables such as age, occupation, education, monthly income, and kinds of restaurant are included to measure influence on these as well. Research, design, data, and methodology - 500 questionnaires were distributed from June 10th to July 10th, 2017. 225 respondents were totally included in this analysis using SPSS and AMOS program. In order to test hypothesis, factor analysis and reliability verification firstly were employed, and then covariance structure analysis was used. Results - Empirical results are as followed. First, it can be mentioned that the esthetics of dessert cafe is analyzed to have a positive effect on the perception of love and respectful perception. Second, playfulness has a positive effect on perception of love. Third, respect perception has a positive effect on brand loyalty. When variables such as age, occupation, education, monthly income, and restaurant type were used as control variables, only monthly income had a significant effect on respect recognition. This shows that the control variable has a significant effect on the causal relationship of the variables. Conclusions - In summary, it can be stated that it is necessary for marketers to establish marketing strategies in order to boost customers' experiential value such as esthetics of franchise and also to strengthen lovemarks for respectful recognition and brand loyalty.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a structural equation model of nurses' turnover intention. Method: The participants were 716 nurses at 4 university hospitals. Data were collected by a self-report questionnaire in 2008 and analyzed using SPSS 12.0 and AMOS 4.0 Win program. Results: The fit indices of modified model were $x^2=285.928$(p<.001), $x^2/df=1.958$, GFI=0.964, RMSEA=0.037, AGFI=0.944, NFI=0.947, NNFI=0.961, CFI=0.973, PNFI=0.658 and showed high compatibility with the empirical data. In the final model, job stress and satisfaction were found to have significant direct effects on nurses' turnover intention, while organizational culture and emotional labor were very important factors to have indirect effects on turnover intention via job stress and satisfaction. Nurses' turnover intention was accounted for 41.2% of covariance by these factors. Conclusions: Comprehensive nursing interventions for decreasing nurses' turnover intention should be focused on reducing job stress and increasing job satisfaction. Also, Nursing strategy for enhancing positive organizational culture and decreasing emotional labor would be helpful for decreasing nurses' turnover intention, too. Further studies are needed to prospectively conduct to verify these causal relationships with larger sample.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a scale to measure person-centered critical care nursing and verify its reliability and validity. Methods: A total of 38 preliminary items on person-centered critical care nursing were selected using content validity analysis of and expert opinion on 72 candidate items derived through literature review and qualitative interviews. We conducted a questionnaire survey with 477 nurses who worked in intensive care units. The collected data were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmative factor analysis (CFA) with SPSS and AMOS 24.0 program. Results: EFA was performed with principal axis factor analysis and Varimax rotation. The 15 items in 4 factors that accounted for 50.8% of the total variance were identified by deleting the items that were not meet the condition that the commonality should be .30 or more and the factor loading over .40. We named the factors as compassion, individuality, respect, and comfort, respectively. The correlation coefficient between this scale and the Caring Perception Scale was r=.57 (p<.001), which determined concurrent validity. The item-total correlation values ranged from .39 to .63, and the internal consistency for the scale was Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.84$. Conclusion: The reliability and validity of the 15 item person-centered critical care nursing scale were verified. It is expected that the use of this scale would expand person-centered care in critical care nursing.
This study investigated the relationships of preschool children's interactive peer play, stimulated home environment, and mother-child interaction. A total of 255 children were selected in this study. Data were analyzed with Pearson correlations and covariance structural analysis by using SPSS and AMOS, a statistical program for structural equation modeling. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, interactive peer play was associated with stimulated home environment and mother-child interaction. Second, the results confirmed the pathway from stimulated home environment via mother-child interaction to interactive peer play showing a significantly good model fit. The paths from stimulated home environment to children's interactive peer play were mediated by mother-child interaction.

The purpose of this study was to verify the validity of Ohio State Teacher Efficacy Scale(OSTES: Tschannen-Moran, 2000) when used with Korean home economics teachers. To achieve this purposes, the surveys with 263 secondary school home economics teachers was conducted by the prime investigator. Statistical procedures included descriptive statistics, factor analysis, internal consistency. Cronbach's a was calculated to test the reliability of items and their internal consistency and Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) was conducted to test the structure of each factors with principal analysis and varimax rotation. Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA) was conducted to test the factor validity of this scale with AMOS program. The reliability test result of 20 items appeared Cronbach's a=.86. The factor analysis on teacher efficacy with 263 survey of secondary school home economics teachers produced 5 factors including efficacy in classroom management. efficacy in needs assistance, efficacy in instructional strategies, efficacy in environmental assistance and efficacy in teaming assistance. The validity of teacher efficacy scale was moderately verified by the confirmatory factor analyses(GFI=.87, AGFI=.84. CFI=.86. PNFI=.72, RMR=.05. RMSEA=.07). The results lend a support to the teacher efficacy scale as a valid instrument.
