  • Nowadays, like any other areas we have asked that the concrete would get more and more properties to increase there performance. So, in this research we are intended to develop the Photocatalytic Concrete which is one of the High Performance Concrete with waste gas reduction and self-cleaning. The fundamental phenomena of the Photocatalytic Concrete were observed by the residue water-weight, SEM, flow and surface hardness(Pencil tester). As a result of this study, the Photocatalytic Concrete used Photocatalytic powder, OPC admixture and other materials can obtain its properties, also photocatalytic efficiency. Last of all, we are convinced of the Photocatalytic Concrete possibility and make an effort to develop its properties added a various study.

The Subjects were 6 Early Childhood Teachers who experienced to use Robot in their teaching and learning. The data was analyzed through semi-structured in-depth interview and teachers' journals. The results showed possibilities and limitations of R-learning. As possibilities of R-learning, it was found that robot is am attractive teaching materials. In addition, it was found that robot might be an assistant teacher. Third, robot helps children improving their social development. Fourth, teachers might get confident while using robots in their teaching and learning. However, there were limitations of R-learning. First, teachers need to understand what R-learning means. Second, there are some functional problems of R-learning. Third, there are lack of qualitative contents of R-learning. Finally, robots need to be general to every children.

  • Flat Panel Displays (FPDs) have made a revolution in the display industry. TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display) has been the main player of FPD for last two decades. As the industry continuously develops the technology for better performance with lower cost is constantly demanded where several post LCD technologies are being developed. One of the prime candidates of post LCD technology is AMOLED (Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diode) that is considered to be an ideal FPD due to its extraordinary display performance and potentially low cost display structure. This technology has been accepted to small size display applications, such as cellular phone, PDA and PMP, etc. In this paper it is discussed that how this technology can be extended to large size display applications, such as TV. The technical issues and solutions of TFT backplane and color patterning of OLED materials are discussed and proposed

  • Low cost high efficiency single crystal silicon solar cells for terrestrial applications have been fabricated by using inexpensive materials such as solar grade silicon wafer and pastes, and mass production processes such as screen printing and spray. Under 100 mW/cm$^2$ (AM 1.5) and $25^{\circ}C$ conditions conversion efficiency of 16.48% was obtained by anon fire-thru process and 15.55% by fire-thru process.

  • Click chemistry had enjoyed a wealthy decade after it was introduced by K.B.Sharpless and his co-worker on 2001. Since there is no optimized method for synthesis of click polymer, therefore, this paper introduced three click reaction methods such as catalyst, non-catalyst and azide-end capping for fluorene-based functional click polymers. The obtained polymers have reasonable molecular weight with narrow PDI. The polymers are thermally stable and almost emitted blue light emission. The synthesized fluorene-based functional click polymers were characterized to compare the effect of click reaction methods on polymer electro-optical properties as well as device performance on quasi-solid-state dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) applications. The DSSCs with configuration of $SnO_2:F/TiO_2/N719$ dye/quasi-solid-state electrolyte/Pt devices were fabricated using these click polymers as a solid-state electrolyte components. Among the devices, the catalyzed click polymer composed device exhibited a high power conversion efficiency of 4.62% under AM 1.5G illumination ($100mW/cm^2$).These click polymers are promising materials in device application and $Cu^I$-catalyst 1, 3-dipolar cycloaddition click reaction is an efficient synthetic methodology.

  • Titanium dioxide ($TiO_2$) thin films were deposited by the sol-gel method with a surfactant-assisted mechanism. Its application for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) was investigated. Brunauer-Emmett-Teller, X-ray diffraction and field emission scanning electron microscopy techniques were used to characterize the surface characteristics of thin films. Photovoltaic-current density measurements were performed to determine the photoelectrochemical properties of the thin films and the performance of DSSCs. Energy conversion efficiency of about 6.1% was achieved for cells with conductive glass under illumination with AM 1.5 (100 $mWcm^{-2}$) simulated sunlight. Investigation showed higher photo-energy conversion efficiency for mesoporous $TiO_2$ nanocrystalline films used in DSSCs relative to commercially available Degussa P25 films.

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the marginal fitness between Ni-Cr alloy and type III gold alloy, according to two finishing line, chamfer and shoulder. As experimental materials, author selected type III gold alloy and Ni-Cr alloy (Hicrown) which were popularly used in Korea for the full cast crown. Author prepared the wax patterns with milled stainless steel die and ring. The wax patterns were invested, burnouted, and casted. The maginal discrepancy was measured with scanning electron microscope. Author obtained the following results from this study. 1. The maginal fitness of Type III gold alloy was not significantly different from that of Ni-Cr alloy (Hi-crown). 2. There is no significant difference between chamfer and shoulder in case of Type III gold alloy. 3. The maginal fitness of chamfer type is significantly superior to that of shoulder type in the Ni-Cr alloy (Hi-Crown).

  • The effect of misfit on the indentation behaviour of silver coated copper multilayer was studied by molecular dynamics simulation. It was found that the misfit bands on interface formed by the mismatch of lattice structure between copper and silver in slip direction [110] and the dislocation band width depended on the mismatched lattice constants of materials. More dislocations were created and glided by indentation, which created a "four-wing flower" structure consisting of pile. up of dislocation at the interface. The size of "flower" depended on the thickness of silver layer. The critical thickness for "flower" was approximately 4nm above which the "flower" disappeared. As the result, deformation mechanisms such as dislocation pile-up, dislocation cross-slip and movement of misfit dislocation were revealed. Only silver atoms in the dislocation pile-up were involved in the creation of the "flower" while the dislocations in copper were glided in slip direction on interface.

  • This paper focuses on a rheo-forming of am part fabricated by electromagnetic stirring system (EMS). This forming process take place under high pressure of high pressure die casting and thin walled casting is possible. Furthermore, the productivity is better than low pressure die casting because of shorter cycle time. The advantages of rheo-forming are performed in the semi solid state with laminar flow and the gas content is low, which makes welding possible. Therefore this research applies for arm part with EMS and has investigated the mechanical properties after T6 and T5 heat-treatment.
