Exploring Data Categories and Algorithm Types for Elementary AI Education (초등 인공지능 교육을 위한 데이터 범주와 알고리즘 종류 탐색)

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss the types of algorithms and data categories in AI education for elementary school students. The study surveyed 11 pre-elementary teachers after providing education and practice on various data, artificial intelligence algorithm, and AI education platform for 15 weeks. The categories of data and algorithms considering the elementary school level, and educational tools were presented, and their suitability was analyzed. Through the questionnaire, it was concluded that it is most suitable for the teacher to select and preprocess data in advance according to the purpose of the class, and the classification and prediction algorithms are suitable for elementary AI education. In addition, it was confirmed that Entry is most suitable as an AI educational tool, and materials that explain mathematical knowledge are needed to educate the concept of learning of AI. This study is meaningful in that it specifically presents the categories of algorithms and data with in AI education for elementary school students, and analyzes the need for related mathematics education and appropriate AI educational tools.

  • The purpose of this note is to study the relation between Heyting algebra and t-algebra which is the dual concept of BCK-algebra. We define t-algebra with binary operation ${\rhd}$ which is a generalization of the implication in the Heyting algebra, and define a bounded ness and commutativity of it, and then characterize a Heyting algebra and a Boolean algebra as a bounded commutative t-algebra X satisfying $x=(x{\rhd}y){\rhd}x$ for all $x,y{\in}X$.

  • In this paper, we obtain characterizations of continuous distributions based on the independent property of generalized record values extending the characterization results reported by Jin and Lee [4], Skřivánková and Juhás [8]. Also, example of special cases of general classes as Bur types, Pareto, power and Weibull distribution are discussed.

  • 본 연구에서는 예비교사의 인공지능 융합교육 역량 강화를 위한 캡스톤 디자인 기법 활용 인공지능 융합교육 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하였다. 개발된 교육 프로그램은 예비교사들이 스크래치 프로그래밍과 머신러닝포키즈, 캡스톤 디자인의 이해를 바탕으로, 인공지능 활용 융합 수업을 위한 주제 선정, 수업 설계 및 개발 후, 마이크로티칭을 하고 동료 평가 및 피드백을 하도록 조직되었다. 이는 2022년 1학기 K대학의 교양 강좌를 수강하는 예비교사들에게 처치되었다. 그 결과, 실험 대상자들의 인공지능 교수효능감의 사전-사후 t-검정에서 통계적으로 유의한 효과가 있음을 확인되었다.

  • 투자에 대한 관심 증가에 따라 적은 비용과 시간으로 객관적인 정보 제공의 필요성 증가와 함께 인공지능 기술을 활용한 로보어드바이저 서비스가 확대되었다. 또한, 최근 ETF 를 통한 안정적인 투자에 대한 선호도가 증가함에 따라 ETF 중심의 AI 로보어드바이저 추천 서비스가 필요할 것으로 보인다. 하지만, 기존의 투자 어플리케이션에서는 뉴스 기반의 감성적인 요인이 반영되지 않은 추천 방식으로 주가에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들을 고려하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 뉴스의 감성분석을 통한 감성지수를 기반으로 새로운 주가 예측 모델을 제안하고, 사용자의 투자 성향 분석을 통한 맞춤 추천 서비스를 통해 개인화된 ETF 서비스를 제공한다.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of fuzzy (r, s)-adherence points, fuzzy (r, s)-accumulation points and fuzzy (r, s)-derived sets in double fuzzy topology. We investigate some of their properties. The relationship with double fuzzy closure operator was studied.

  • The education sector is undergoing significant changes due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the advancement of artificial intelligence. Particularly, the importance of education based on artificial intelligence is being emphasized. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to develop a statistics education program using deep learning prediction in high school mathematics and to examine the impact of such statistically problem-solvingcentered statistics education programs on high school students' statistical literacy and computational thinking. To achieve this goal, a statistics education program using deep learning prediction applicable to high school mathematics was developed. The analysis revealed that students' understanding of context improved through experiencing how data was generated and collected. Additionally, they enhanced their comprehension of data variability while exploring and analyzing various datasets. Moreover, they demonstrated the ability to critically analyze data during the process of validating its reliability. In order to analyze the impact of the statistics education program on high school students' computational thinking, a paired sample t-test was conducted, confirming a statistically significant difference in computational thinking between before and after classes (t=-11.657, p<0.001).

  • In this paper, we present our new teaching and learning materials on gradient descent method, which is widely used in artificial intelligence, available for college mathematics. These materials provide a good explanation of gradient descent method at the level of college calculus, and the presented SageMath code can help students to solve minimization problems easily. And we introduce how to solve least squares problem using gradient descent method. This study can be helpful to instructors who teach various college-level mathematics subjects such as calculus, engineering mathematics, numerical analysis, and applied mathematics.

An analysis of the use of technology tools in high school mathematics textbooks based (고등학교 수학 교과서의 공학 도구 활용 현황 분석)

  • With the introduction of AI digital textbooks, interest in the use of technology tools in mathematics education is increasing. Technology tools have the advantage of visualizing mathematical concepts and discovering mathematical principles through experimentation and inquiry. The 2015 revised mathematics curriculum in Korea already mentions the use of technology tools, and accordingly, various teaching and learning activities using technology tools are presented in mathematics textbooks. However, there is still a lack of systematic analysis on the types and utilization methods of technology tools presented in textbooks. Therefore, this study analyzed the current status of the use of technology tools presented in high school mathematics textbooks based on the 2015 revised curriculum. To this end, the types of technology tools presented in mathematics textbooks were categorized, and the utilization ratio of each category was investigated. In addition, the utilization patterns of technology tools were analyzed by subject and content area, and the utilization ratio of technology tools according to the type of teaching and learning activities was examined. The results showed that technology tools were used in various types and ratios according to the subject and content area. In particular, technology tools in the symbol-manipulation graphing software category accounted for 58% of the total usage cases, showing the highest proportion. By subject, the use of symbol-manipulation graphing software was prominent in subjects dealing with the analysis area, while the use of dynamic geometry software was relatively high in the geometry area. In terms of teaching and learning activity types, the utilization ratio of auxiliary tool type (49%) and intended inquiry induction type (37%) was high. The results of this study show that technology tools play various roles in mathematics textbooks and provide useful implications for improving mathematics teaching and learning methods using technology tools in the future. Furthermore, it can contribute to the establishment of educational policies related to AI digital textbooks and the development of teacher training programs.

The Aims of Education in the Era of AI (21세기 인공지능시대에서의 교육의 목적)

  • In the 21st century, the era of artificial intelligence, it is demanded to make a change of the paradigm of education by the recent impact of the 4th industrial revolution. The education up to now has emphasized knowledge, meanwhile the human resources for the future are required to be armed with four C's: critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration capability, rather than being equipped with just knowledge. That is because the future society demands such abilities, especially the creativity of each individual. At this point, we are asked to consider the aim of education and teaching methods. In school education, students are to be respected and considered able to develop their potentials by themselves. They shouldn't be estimated by tests in the process of learning as they are now. We reconsider the aim of education here by taking a look at Whitehead's opinions and the present educational situations.
