PWM Cuk AC-AC 컨버터를 위한 새로운 Commutation 회로 (A New Commutation Circuit for PMW Cuk AC-AC Converter)

  • 본 논문에서는 PMW Cuk AC-AC 컨버터를 위한 새로운 commutation 회로를 제안한다. 제안된 commutation 회로는 컨버터 전류의 commutation을 위하여 개선된 Undeland 스너버를 이용한다. 개선된 스너버 회로는 주 스위치의 전압/전류 스트레스 저감, 효율 개선과 같은 장점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통하여 제안된 commutation 회로의 효과와 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • A new control method is proposed for PWM ac chopper whcih can have the features of both linear control of the fundamental voltage and complete elimination of the harmonics up to specified order. Through theoretical investigation of the proposed method, it is found that both input and output characteristics can be improved better than those of the conventional methods. Also the newly modified triangular carrier wave is suggested to perform the above features over full control range and to implement the control circuit easily. To evaluate the performances of the proposed PWM method, the comparsion with the conventional PWM technique is made and the exterimental results are suggested.

  • In a utility interactive photovoltaic system, a PWM inverter is used for the connection between the photovoltaic arrays and the utility. The DC current becomes pulsated causes the distortion of the AC current waveform. This paper presents the reduced pulsation of DC input current by operating the inverter with buck-boost chopper in the discontinuous conduction mode. The DC current with contains harmonics component is analyzed by means of separating into two terms of a ripple component and a direct component. The constant DC current without pulsation is supplied from photovoltaic array to the inverter. The proposed inverter system provide a sinusoidal AC current for domestic loads and the utility line with unity power factor.

  • Asymmetrical pulse width modulated(APWM) control technique for AC chopper is proposed which can improve the input power factor. The ideal switching function for the proposed technique is derived and its optimal slope to maintain the input power factor to unity is calculated. By digital simulation several characteristics are investigated theoretically and then compared with those of the conventional PWM and the phase angle control technique. In order to maintain the input power factor to unity the optimal slope and the average value of the ideal switching function are calculated. The experimental results show a good agreement with the calculated ones, which proves the feasibility of the proposed technique.

  • 본 논문에서는 복소 회로 DQ 변환 기법을 활용하여 3상 PW Cuk AC-AC 컨버터에 대한 완전한 정보를 포함하는 등가모델을 제시하고, 이 모델로부터 상태방정식과 같은 컨버터의 동적 특성의 해석적친 표현을 유도하였다. 또, 이러한 동적 동작특성 해석에 대한 결과는 PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • 태양전지의 출력특성은 일사량, 온도와 부하에 의해 크게 변동하기 때문에 가능한 한 많은 에너지를 얻기 위해서는 태양전지의 출력을 항상 최대로 제어할 필요가 있다. 또한 가정용 부하는 교류부하인 반면에 태양전지의 출력은 직류이므로 태양광 발전 시스템에서는 인버터가 필수적이며, 단위역률을 갖는 정현파 전류 및 전압을 계통에 공급해 주어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 계통연계형 태양광 발전시스템을 승압쵸퍼와 전압형 인버터로 구성하였다. 전력비교에 따른 시비율을 변화시켜 일사량과 온도변화에 관계없이 항상 최대출력점을 추적하도록 승압쵸퍼를 제어하였고, 전압형 인버터는 위상동기를 위해서 계통전압을 검출하여 계통전압과 인버터 출력을 동상 운전하므로 고역률과 저고조파 출력으로 부하와 계통에 전력이 공급되도록 제어하였다.

  • A new generator excitation system using a boost-buck chopper as a kind of static exciters is proposed to overcome the lack of field forcing capability of the bus fed exciter under the Input line fault condition. It increases or maintains the generator field current by boosting the field voltage in the case of the input AC line voltage drop during and immediately after a fault. The validity of the proposed excitation system is verified with the computer simulation. The generator stability according to the each difference exciter is tested using a commercial software package-CYME. The simulation results of the stability analysis on the generator with the proposed exciter is better than that of the bus fed exciter. This boost-buck chopper exciter can be simply implemented and controlled by the modem power electronics technology.

  • Sunlight makes it possible to adjust scale of electric power easily as a electric energy without air pollution. Solar cell to convert the sunlight to the electric energy has DC output which is influenced on temperature and irradiation time. Conversion of DC output from the solar cell to AC is necessary due to the fact that most loads to be used currently are compatible with AC generally. In the present work, Two-phase chopper system with two seperate groups to obtain two identical DC is used to preserve the energy from the solar cell in two battery. They are controlled to be operated around maximum output of the solar cell under the condition of constant voltage. Photovoltaic system with DC${\rightarrow}$AC conversion is also investigated for big capacity and two seperated electric power using two separate inverter.
