This paper reviews real option theory and its recent application to management studies involving highly risky business. Three problems are identified in previous studies that created confusions in the application of real option view. It is proposed in this paper that by explicitly stating the underlying real asset on which real option is written, researchers can prevent real option analysis from becoming a tautology and clarify three problems identified in this paper.

A modified method obtained by expanding Longuet-Higgins and Stewart's method (1964) is proposed. which can easily derive the group-bountied long wave due to the irregular were group as well as the regular wave group. The result of the proposed method agree well with those of both second order nonlinear theory and radiation stress theory. Particularly in the shallow water region, three equations from the proposed method, the second order nonlinear theory and the radiation stress theory become identical.

본 연구에서는 로저스의 개혁확산이론(Rogers, 2003)과 데이비스의 기술수용모형(Davis, 1989)을 바탕으로 실감공간기술에 대한 잠재적 사용자의 태도를 분석하였다. 개혁확산이론과 기술수용모형을 바탕으로 한 선행 연구들을 통해 새로운 미디어의 채택에 영향을 미치는 다양한 요인들을 고찰할 수 있었다. 개혁확신이론을 통해서는 개인의 심리적 수준은 물론 인구통계학적 수준, 사회적 수준 등 다양한 요인과 그 하부 요인이 도출되었으며, 기술수용모형을 통해서는 개혁확산이론을 통해 도출된 다양한 변인들이 실감공간기술에 적용될 수 있다는 가설을 설계할 수 있었다. 개혁확산 이론과 기술수용모형을 통해 이미 설명된 기존의 뉴미디어들과 달리 실감공간기술이 개발 진행 중이라는 점과 그 다양한 발전 가능성이라는 특징을 고려했을 때, 실감공간기술의 확산을 어떻게 예측하고 설명할 수 있는지 고찰하는 것 또한 본 연구의 목적이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 실감공간기술에 대한 잠재적 사용자들의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인의 영향력을 살펴봄으로써 실감공간기술의 다양한 활용 방안에 대하여 모색하였다.

고속도로 및 도시 고속도로는 교통의 단순한 매체로 뿐만 아니라 환경, 에너지, 경제 등등 사회 전반에 걸쳐 그 역할이 다양하며, 영향력이 지대하고, 중요한 비중을 차지함으로써, 이들 도로의 효율적인 운영을 위하여 고속도로 운영체계 수립 및 설계시 교통상황을 예측할 필요성이 있다. 이런 목적을 실현하기 위하여 , 기존의 개발된 교통류 모형들을 사용할 수 있으나, 이들의 예측 결과에 대한 낮은 신뢰도, 혹은 모형의 특성(예, 처리용량, 해석방법) 에 따른 제약 등등의 이유로 실용화되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 최근 Newell 은 충격파이론을 간편화하여 기존의 다른 교통류 이론들에 비해 많은 장점을 갖은 새로운 교통류의 이론은 개발하였다. 하지만, 이 이론도 수작업에 의한 도식적 (graphical) 해석방법을 기초로 하고 있기 때문에, 실제 교통운용체계에 사용화하기에는 거의 불가능한 비효율적 결함을 니니고 있다. 이 논문의 목적은 Newell 의 이론을 추후 실제 현장에서 적용할 수 있도록 Newell의 도식적 해석방법을 체계화(mechanize)한 컴퓨터 알고리즘을 개발하는데 있다.

The objective of this study is to introduce the theory of Gerotranscendence and the ninth stage of Erikson & Erikson(1997)'s psycho-social development theory in order to enable the academic Korean field to have a more positive and fresher point of view on aging. In order to meet this objective, this study will first take a look at Erikson's 9th stage expansion theory on human development. Then we will study Gerotranscendence as the most representing phenomena among the 9 stage theory so that the Korean Gerontology field can utilize it for future plans. The definition of Gerotranscendence was first introduced by Tornstam(1994) and has been applied as Erikson & Erikson's 9 stage theory ever since. Gerotranscendence can be described as an individual that has entered his golden years after middle age, which transforms one's point of view on life from a materialistic and logical one to a more universal and transcending one. Gerotranscendence is a voluntary and overcoming process of oneself that is displayed in many seniors which leads to a lesser focus on oneself in the eyes of the society, but increases the inter-relational bonding between past and future generations. The following is a summary of the theorhetical evaluation on Gerotranscendence which was analyzed in this study. First, this study introduces the Gerotranscendence theory, which is recognized as the most representative phenomena among Erikson's 9th stage theory that has hence expanded the application of Gerontology theories in the academic field of Gerontology. Second, this study has provided a new point of view towards the elderly in the practical field of senior citizen social welfare. With this understanding, practical levels of services from various points of view can be provided to acknowledge the needs of the elderly. Third, a much wider field of research can be exchanged and provided along with other fields of studies by applying and extending this Gerotranscendence theory in Korea. It would also be especially beneficial to exchange researches within related fields of study such as psychology, sociology, nursing science, family science and the study of religion. Not to mention also lending support to hospitals for the elderly(nursing homes) and institutions related to senior welfare, or practical fields where there is an active exchange of research using Gerotranscendence theory.

The purpose of this study are as follows : First, This study conceptually provide an insight of reasons that organizations seek to create, acquire, store and distribute knowledge at the level of an organization and of process how they can transform or evolve to knowledge based organizations. Second, this study confirms examine what theories can be used to knowledge management, how such theories can be useful to analyse knowledge management and provide a theoretical foundation for knowledge management research. Applied to the theories of knowledge based and resource based view and institutional theory, the essence of knowledge management confirms that the organization finds job-related knowledge and know-how retained by individual of organizational members systematically and shares common knowledge within the organization and explains knowledge creation, multi-dimensional knowledge transition and share in all dimension of individual, group, and organization. As a result of comparative analysis of theory of organizational knowledge creation theory, In knowledge management, building of knowledge-creative culture, transitional process of explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge, knowledge creation and knowledge operation are important. In the basis on these study results, we discussed how the organizational knowledge creation theory can be used to manage knowledge in the organization, and also proposed hypotheses based on some arguments against the universal acceptance of the theory.

The escape theory is the theory of problem behavior such as suicide. The purpose of this study is to investigate the causes of gaming disorder, which has been attracting attention as a typical youth problem, through escape theory. Suicide theory is a process in which the problem triggered by the negative external environment flows into internal attribution and self-criticism, and this leads to a process leading to problematic behavior with disgust self-awareness. This process was applied to the environment, psychology, and behavior of adolescents. As a result, the lack of affection and consistency of the parents resulted in negative external environment, which affected the self-esteem of children by creating a negative external environment. And low self-esteem caused negative emotions, lowered self control, and confirmed to induce game addiction. The results of this analysis show that game addiction has a structure similar to obsessive behaviors such as binge eating and shopping addiction explained through the escape theory model and it is necessary to concentrate more on the environmental psychological factors for game addiction research.

The issue concerning how to integrate with the needs of sustainable development according to Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design(CPTED) theory still continues in the development process of the third-generation theory at the present stage. In addition, the issue is under worldwide controversy and discussion. What is more noteworthy is that the viewpoints under debate and discussion have an influence on the mutual effect and relationship between the theoretical model and the principles in the theoretical model, and the influence can never be underestimated. After a mastery of the overall context of theoretical development, it is believed in this study that the identity of CPTED theory development can provide a diverse understanding dimension and a communication method between the environment and environmental users. On the basis of identity the development of CPTED theory, the crime prevention design mode of CPTED needs to connect different dimensions of sustainability, with the design goal of livability as the starting point, the Top-down model to adjust the safety of the environment. By no means can the environmental condition be improved by solely relying on the previous physical design method in virtue of Bottom-up model. Therefore, in this study, the identity of CPTED will be set as the core combined with Top-down crime prevention design model to propose a visual proposal for the reconstitution of the theoretical model, rather than supplementing the application of the contents or principles at a certain stage. Hence, it is expected to provide reference and enlightenment for the sustainable development of CPTED theory.

본 논문은 Grosz et al(1995)의 중심화이론(centering theory)을 바탕으로 목적어의 생략의 동기를 설명할 수 있는가를 검증하였다. 한국의 민담에 나타난 431개의 절과 신문사설 249개의 절을 분석한 결과 공목적어(zero object)의 17%만이 중심유지변이(continue transition)에 사용되었으며, 이는 중심화이론의 기존 세 가지 제약만으로는 공목적어의 분포를 설명할 수 없음을 보여주는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 중심화이론 내에서 공목적어의 분포를 설명하기 위하여 Kameyama(1998)의 평행선호조건(Parallelism Preference Condition)을 도입할 것을 제안하였다. 평행선호조건의 도입은 세 가지 측면에서 지지된다. 첫째, 중심변이 개념만으로 설명이 불충분한 공목적어의 분포를 중심화이론 내에서 설명할 수 있다. 둘째, 순조로운 중심이동변이(smooth-shift transition)에 나타나는 공주어의 분포를 설명할 수 있다. 셋째, 평행선호조건은 공명대명사의 해석뿐만 아니라 시제의 생략이나 동사의 생략을 설명하기 위해서 독립적으로 지지되는 조건이다.

This article reviews the exciting developments in Morse theory by S.Smale, Freedmann and others, including a proof of the generalized Poincare' Conjecture in the handle body theory. We study its relations with handle body theory _and geodesic theory.
