In OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access) system that frequency reuse factor is 1, as the same channels in the neighborhood cells creates inter-cell co-channel interference which provides a resource underutilization problem, channel allocation schemes to minimize inter-cell interference have been studied. This paper proposes a new CNIR (Carrier to Noise and Interference Ratio)-based distributed Inter-cell DCA (Dynamic Channel Allocation) algorithm in the OFDMA environment with frequency reuse factor of 1. When a channel allocation is requested, if there is not a free channel in home cell or the available free channels in home cell do not satisfy a required threshold value, the proposed Inter-cell DCA algorithm finds CNIR values of available free channels in the neighborhood cells and then allocates a free channel with maximum CNIR value. Through the simulation results, we find that the proposed scheme decreases both new call block rate and forced termination rate due to new call generation at the same time because it increases channel allocation probability.

When we apply the LDPC code for high density optical storage channel, it is necessary to make an algorithm that the modulation code decoder must feed the LDPC decoder soft-valued information because LDPC decoder exploits soft values using the soft input. Therefore, we propose the soft-input soft-output run-length limited 17PP decoding algorithm and compare performance of LDPC codes. Consequently, we found that the proposed soft-input soft-output decoding algorithm using 17PP is 0.8dB better than the soft-input soft-output decoding algorithm using (1, 7) RLL.

A simple RC circuit model of large-scale touch screen panels is developed and the frequency range of the RC model is analyzed. 2D EM simulation results of a single touch cell are cascaded for a 23 inch touch panel using a circuit simulator, and the shortest and longest channels of the full panel are modeled with a 5-element RC circuit. The 5-element RC circuit can model the touch screen panel upto 130 kHz with the channel phase error of $10^{\circ}$. 7-element RC circuit model is also proposed and the frequency range for the channel phase error of $10^{\circ}$ is extended to 200 kHz.

This study explores the popular channels of Afreeca TV, which is the most famous Internet Broadcasting Service in South Korea currently. Due to the developments of technology, the era has come that ordinary people are able to do broadcasting individually with some equipment. Unlike traditional media, Internet Broadcasting does not have a concept of ratings, and Afreeca TV utilizes the specific formula for counting popular channels. In this situation, this study analyzes the popular channels on Afreeca TV by 1) Gender 2) Profile Photo 3) Genre 4) Enthusiast 5) Fanclub 6) Supporter 7) Amount of Airtime 8) Cumulative Audience, and then it reveals the traits of those popular channels. Then, it further discusses the future of the Internet broadcasting.
In this paper, the performance of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) was assessed by using computer simulations performed using Matlab. We analyzed channel estimation algorithm for adaptive modulation techniques and effect of system using designed simulator in Multimedia wireless communication multipath fading channel environment. Also, we analyzed performance of adaptive OFDM systems that apply adaptive equalizer using guided result through BER. In result, in case of adaptive modulation OFDM systems that modulation mode changes according to channel state, we knew that adaptive modulation OFDM systems have gains of about 7dB performance than general system (BER=$10^{-1}$). Thus we know that adaptive OFDM propose systems is required for efficient transmission in the high speed Multimedia wireless communication channel environment.
In this paper, we propose a method to improve the performance of initial channel estimation (CE) for the multiband-OFDM (MB-OFDM) UWB. The performance of the initial CE can be generally improved as increasing the number of the used preamble symbols. The MB-OFDM specification presents two CE symbols per band in preamble format. The performance of CE estimation with two CE symbols may be satisfied in relatively high sensitivity -77.5 and -72.5 dBm for 200 Mbps and 480 Mbps data rate, respectively, but can not be enough in the degraded 55 Mbps and 110 Mbps sensitivities such as -83.5 and -80.5 dBm, respectively. A method proposed in this paper achieves the performance improvement by extending CE estimation region to packet synchronization (PS) symbols and frame synchronization (FS) symbols including two CE symbols. This can improve the CE performance in the degraded SNR and increase the link-margin by reducing the error rate in physical-layer header. The link-margin improvement obtained by the proposed CE preamble can induce the decrease of error-rate in physical-layer header and increase of communication throughput. Simulation results for the proposed initial method show that the performance is improved by about 0.7 dB at 10-4 bit-error-rate using '4' symbols than initial method using only two CE symbols.

In the next generation wireless communication systems, an energy harvesting from radio frequency signals is considered as a method to solve the lack of power supply problem for sensors. In this paper, we try to propose an efficient algorithm for simultaneous wireless information and power transfer in energy harvesting networks with channel estimation error. At first, we find an optimal channel training interval using one-dimensional exhaustive search, and estimate a channel using MMSE channel estimator. Based on the estimated channel, we propose a power allocation and splitting algorithm for maximizing the data rate while guaranteeing the minimum required harvested energy constraint, The simulation results confirm that the proposed algorithm has an insignificant performance degradation less than 10%, compared with the optimal scheme which assumes a perfect channel estimation, but it can improve the data rate by more than 20%, compared to the conventional scheme.

The effect of the sub-optimal beam-forming and the fading channel correlation on the closed loop transmit antenna diversity(CTD) system is investigated in frequency flat Rayleigh fading channels. The fast channel fading prevents the perfect channel estimation at a mobile station, hence the imperfect weight is applied to the antenna branch of transmitter. The weight causes sub-optimalbeam-forming and aggravates the performance of CTD system. The fading correlation or a wireless channel also is one of the factors decreasing the diversity gain. A bit error rate expression for the CTD system is analytically derived as a function of the channel estimation error, the channel correlation coefficient the feedback delay, and fading index. It is shown that the channel estimation error gives more severe effect to the system performance than the channel correlation.

This paper presents multi-channel transimpedance amplifier(TIA) arrays in short-range LADAR systems for unmanned vehicles, by using a 0.18um CMOS technology. Two $4{\times}4$ channel TIA arrays including a voltage-mode INV-TIA and a current-mode CG-TIA are introduced. First, the INV-TIA consists of a inverter stage with a feedback resistor and a CML output buffer with virtual ground so as to achieve low noise, low power, easy current control for gain and impedance. Second, the CG-TIA utilizes a bias from on-chip bandgap reference and exploits a source-follower for high-frequency peaking, yielding 1.26 times smaller chip area per channel than INV-TIA. Post-layout simulations demonstrate that the INV-TIA achieves 57.5-dB${\Omega}$ transimpedance gain, 340-MHz bandwidth, 3.7-pA/sqrt(Hz) average noise current spectral density, and 2.84mW power dissipation, whereas the CG-TIA obtains 54.5-dB${\Omega}$ transimpedance gain, 360-MHz bandwidth, 9.17-pA/sqrt(Hz) average noise current spectral density, and 4.24mW power dissipation. Yet, the pulse simulations reveal that the CG-TIA array shows better output pulses in the range of 200-500-Mb/s operations.
This study was intended to empirically examine the influence that the omni-channel brand experience would have on omni-channel brand relationship formation and achievements. All hypotheses were adopted, except for 1 hypothesis(Hypothesis 5), among 12 hypotheses. Specific results were as below: First, omni-channel brand experience had a positive(+) influence on brand trust(Hypothesis 1), brand identification(Hypothesis 2), and consumer-brand relationship(Hypothesis 3) as a whole. The brand trust had a positive(+) influence on brand identification(Hypothesis 4), but did not have statistically significant influence on consumer-brand relationship(Hypothesis 5). Meanwhile, brand identification had a positive(+) influence on consumer-brand relationship(Hypothesis 6). Second, consumer-brand relationship had a positive(+) influence on re-purchase intention(Hypothesis 7), word-of-mouth intention(Hypothesis 8), and brand extension acceptability(Hypothesis 9) as a whole. Finally, omni-channel brand showed the following relationship with and achievements. re-purchase intention had a positive(+) influence on both word-of-mouth intention(Hypothesis 10) and brand extension acceptability(Hypothesis 11) while word-of-mouth intention had a positive(+) influence on brand extension acceptability. The results of this study may provide theoretical and practical implications for marketing managers' understanding and strategy planning in connection with consumer experience and relationship formation promoted recently by omni-channel brands of distribution companies.
