Inverse kinematics is a very useful method for control]ing the posture of an articulated body. In most inverse kinematics processes, the major matter of concern is not the posture of an articulated body itself but the position and direction of the end effector. In some applications such as 3D character animations, however, it is more important to generate an overall natural posture for the character rather than place the end effector in the exact position. Indeed, when an animator wants to modify the posture of a human-like 3D character with many physical constraints, he has to undergo considerable trial-and-error to generate a realistic posture for the character. In this paper, the Inductive Inverse Kinematics(IIK) algorithm using a Uniform Posture Map(UPM) is proposed to control the posture of a human-like 3D character. The proposed algorithm quantizes human behaviors without distortion to generate a UPM, and then generates a natural posture by searching the UPM. If necessary, the resulting posture could be compensated with a traditional Cyclic Coordinate Descent (CCD). The proposed method could be applied to produce 3D-character animations based on the key frame method, 3D games and virtual reality.

The primary goal of the MPEG-H 3D Audio standard is to provide immersive audio environments for high-resolution broadcasting services such as UHDTV. This standard incorporates a wide range of technologies such as encoding/decoding technology for multi-channel/object/scene-based signal, rendering technology for providing 3D audio in various playback environments, and post-processing technology. The reference software decoder of this standard is a structure combining several modules and can operate in various modes. Each module is composed of independent executable files and executed sequentially, real time decoding is impossible. In this paper, we make DLL library of the core decoder, format converter, object renderer, and binaural renderer of the standard and integrate them to enable frame-based decoding. In addition, by measuring the computation complexity of each mode of the MPEG-H 3D-Audio decoder, this paper also provides a reference for selecting the appropriate decoding mode for various hardware platforms. As a result of the computational complexity measurement, the low complexity profiles included in Korean broadcasting standard has a computation complexity of 2.8 times to 12.4 times that of the QMF synthesis operation in case of rendering as a channel signals, and it has a computation complexity of 4.1 times to 15.3 times of the QMF synthesis operation in case of rendering as a binaural signals.
${\beta}$-D-Xylosidase (E.C. 3.2.1.37) from Bifidobacterium breve K-110, which hydrolyzes ginsenoside Ra1 to ginsenoside Rb2, was cloned and expressed in Escherichia coli. The ($His_6$)-tagged recombinant enzyme, designated as XlyBK-110, was efficiently purified using $Ni^{2+}$-affinity chromatography (109.9-fold, 84% yield). The molecular mass of XylBK-100 was found to be 55.7 kDa by SDS-PAGE. Its sequence revealed a 1,347 bp open reading frame (ORF) encoding a protein containing 448 amino acids, which showed 82% identity (DNA) to the previously reported glycosyl hydrolase family 30 of Bifidobacterium adolescentis ATCC 15703. The $K_m$ and $V_{max}$ values toward p-nitrophenyl-${\beta}$-D-xylopyranoside (pNPX) were 1.45mM and 10.75 ${\mu}mol/min/mg$, respectively. This enzyme had pH and temperature optima at 6.0 and $45^{\circ}C$, respectively. XylBK-110 acted to the greatest extent on xyloglucosyl kakkalide, followed by pNPX and ginsenoside Ra1, but did not act on p-nitrophenyl-${\alpha}$-L-arabinofuranoside, p-nitrophenyl-${\beta}$-D-glucopyranoside, or p-nitrophenyl-${\beta}$-D-fucopyranoside. In conclusion, this is the first report on the cloning and expression of ${\beta}$-D-xylosidase-hydrolyzing ginsenoside Ra1 and kakkalide from human intestinal microflora.
The study area, which is located in the southeastern part of the Jirisan province, Yeongnam massif, Korea, is mainly composed of the Precambrian Hadong southern anorthosite complex (HSAC), the Jirisan metamorphic rock complex (JMRC) and Cretaceous sedimentary rock which unconformably covers them. Lithofacies distribution of the Precambrian constituent rocks mainly shows NS and partly NE trends. This paper researched deformational phased structural characteristics of HSAC and JMRC based on the geometric and kinematic features and the forming sequence of multi-deformed rock structures, and suggests that the geological structures of this area was formed through at least three phases of ductile deformation. The first phase ($D_1$) of deformation happened due to the large-scale top-to-the SE shearing, and formed the sheath or "A"-type fold and the regional tectonic frame of NE trend in the HSAC and JMRC. The second phase ($D_2$) of deformation, like the $D_1$ deformation, regionally occurred under the EW-directed tectonic compression, and most of the NE-trending $D_1$ tectonic frame was reoriented into NS trend by the active and passive folding, and the persistent and extensive ductile shear zone (Hadong shear zone) with no less than 2.3~1.4 km width was formed along the eastern boundary of HSAC and JMRC through the mylonitization process. The third phase ($D_3$) of deformation occurred under the NS-directed tectonic compression, and partially reoriented the pre-$D_3$ structural elements into ENE or WNW direction. It means that the distribution of Precambrian lithofacies showing NE trend locally and NS trend widely in this area is closely associated with the $D_1$ and $D_2$ deformations, respectively, and the NS-trending Hadong shear zone in the eastern part of Hadong northern anorthosite complex, which is located in the north of Deokcheon River, also extends into the HSAC with continuity.
Purpose: The brain perfusion SPECT is the examination which is able to know adversity information related brain disorder. But brain perfusion SPECT has also high failure rates by patient's motions. In this case, we have to use two days method and patients put up with many disadvantages. We think that we don't use two days method in brain perfusion SPECT, if we can use registration method. So this study has led to look over registration method applications in brain perfusion SPECT. Materials and Methods: Jaszczak, Hoffman and cylindrical phantoms were used for acquiring SPECT image data on varying degree in x, y, z axes. The phantoms were filled with $^{99m}Tc$ solution that consisted of a radioactive concentration of 111 MBq/mL. Phantom images were acquired through scanning for 5 sec long per frame by using Triad XLT9 triple head gamma camera (TRIONIX, USA). We painted the ROI of registration image in brain data. So we calculated the ROIratio which was different original image counts and registration image counts. Results: When carring out the experiments under the same condition, total counts differential was from 3.5% to 5.7% (mean counts was from 3.4% to 6.8%) in phantom and patients data. In addition, we also run the experiments in the double activity condition. Total counts differential was from 2.6% to 4.9% (mean counts was from 4.1% to 4.9%) in phantom and patients data. Conclusion: We can know that original and registration data are little different in image analysis. If we use the image registration method, we can improve disadvantage of two days method in brain perfusion SPECT. But we must consider image registration about the distance differences in x, y, z axes.
This paper has presented a few problems when the 2D video superimposed the overlay text was converted to the 3D stereoscopic video. To resolve the problems, it proposes the scenario which the original video is divided into two parts, one is the video only with overlay text graphic region and the other is the video with holes, and then processed respectively. And this paper focuses on research only to detect and extract the overlay text graphic region, which is a first step among the processes in the proposed scenario. To decide whether the overlay text is included or not within a frame, it is used the corner density map based on the Harris corner detector. Following that, the overlay text region is extracted using the hybrid method of color and motion information of the overlay text region. The experiment shows the results of the overlay text region detection and extraction process in a few genre video sequence.

Cooling towers have been installed on rooftops or outside of buildings and widely applied to control the indoor temperature in residential areas and buildings. However, the noise and vibration resulting from their operation may cause problems in adjacent buildings. The purpose of this study is to measure the noise and vibration of an industrial cooling tower located adjacent to industrial plants and to investigate its influence on the surroundings according to an authorized evaluation standard. Further, in order to measure the effect of the vibration of the tower on the precision equipment inside the plant, an experiment is conducted to measure the vibration of the ground in the plant and the targeted precision equipment. The measurement results indicate that the noise in the cooling tower is 4 to 9 dB(A) higher than the maximum level defined in the standard of 68dB(A). The effect of the vibration of the tower on the precision equipment is comparatively minimal, because that in the supporting frame of the building is weaker than that on the floor where the precision equipment is located. The vibration of the floor on.
This paper proposes a video compression algorithm using characteristics of wavelet coefficients. The proposed algorithm can provide lowed bit rate and faster running time while guaranteeing the reconstructed image qualify by the human virtual system. In this approach, each video sequence is decomposed into a pyramid structure of subimages with various resolution to use multiresolution capability of discrete wavelet transform. Then similarities between two neighboring frames are obtained from a low-frequency subband which Includes an important information of an image and motion informations are extracted from the similarity criteria. Four legion selection filters are designed according to the similarity criteria and compression processes are carried out by encoding the coefficients In preservation legions and replacement regions of high-frequency subbands. Region selection filters classify the high-frequency subbands Into preservation regions and replacement regions based on the similarity criteria and the coefficients In replacement regions are replaced by that of a reference frame or reduced to zero according to block-based similarities between a reference frame and successive frames. Encoding is carried out by quantizing and arithmetic encoding the wavelet coefficients in preservation regions and replacement regions separately. A reference frame is updated at the bottom point If the curve of similarity rates looks like concave pattern. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm provides high compression ratio with proper Image quality. It also outperforms the previous Milton's algorithm in an Image quality, compression ratio and running time, leading to compression ratio less than 0.2bpp. PSNR of 32 dB and running tome of 10ms for a standard video image of size 352${\times}$240 pixels.

Agricultural tractors are utilized on rough road such as rice paddy field. Therefore, static and dynamic load should be considered when simulating structural analysis with finite element analysis (FEA). But it consumes a lot of time and effort to measure dynamic load because of difficulty and complexity in modeling various field working load conditions and kinematics of machinery. In this paper, to reduce the efforts, 4-post road simulator is developed for agricultural tractor like modeling commercial vehicle. In proving ground test in our facility, I measured acceleration of front/rare axle and strain of body frame to validate input loads. The acceleration is used for defining input loads. And strain is validated with dynamics analysis including mode superposition method. As a result, I was able to calculate 4-post input road profiles, which represent similar proving ground profile with good reliability.

A cis-epoxysuccinate hydrolase (CESH) from Bordetella sp. BK-52 was purified 51.4-fold with a yield of 27.1% using ammonium sulfate precipitation, ionic exchange, hydrophobic interaction, molecular sieve chromatography and an additional anion-exchange chromatography. The CESH was stable in a broad range of temperature (up to $50^{\circ}C$) and pH (4.0-10.0) with optima of $40^{\circ}C$ and pH 6.5, respectively. It could be partially inhibited by EDTA-$Na_2$, $Ag^+$, SDS, and DTT, and slightly enhanced by $Ba^{2+}$ and $Ca^{2+}$. The enzyme exhibited high stereospecificity in D(-)-tartaric acid (enantiomeric excess value higher than 99%) with $K_m$ and $V_max$ values of 18.67 mM and $94.34\;{\mu}M$/min/mg for disodium cis-epoxysuccinate, respectively. The Bordetella sp. BK-52 CESH gene, which contained 885 nucleotides (open reading frame) encoding 294 amino acids with a molecular mass of about 32 kDa, was successfully overexpressed in Escherichia coli using a T7/lac promoter vector and the enzyme activity was increased 42-times compared with the original strain. It may be an industrial biocatalyst for the preparation of D(-)-tartaric acid.
