간이공동사육을 위한 치잠기 특수 사육방법 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Special Rearing of Young Silkworm for a Simple Cooperative Rearing)

  • 실내 vinyl house내에서 간이 공동사육을 위한 치잠기 특수사육의 가능성 여부를 구명하고자 실내 vinyl house육과 보습방건지육, 보통육을 비교시험을 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 실내 vinyl house육은 보통육 및 방건지육에 비하여 온습도를 합리적으로 조절할 수 있었으며 모든 작업도 편리하였다. 2. 경과일시수는 실내 vinyl house육구와 보습방건지육에는 같았고 보통육구는 실험구에 비하여 춘잠치잠기에 5시간 추잠 치잠기에 6시간 길었다. 3. 감잠비율에 있어서는 춘추 공히 실내vinyl house육구와 보습방건지육구간에는 큰 차이는 없었지만 실내 vinyl house육구에서 감잠수가 약간 적었고 보통육구에서 높은 경향이었다. 4. 각견비율은 춘추 공히 유의성은 없었지만 특수육의 경우 상견비율이 높았고 보통육의 경우 중하견비율이 높은 경향이었다. 5. 대4령 기잠 1만두 수견량은 춘추잠기 공히 실내 vinyl house육구가 높은 경향이었다. 6. 견층비율은 춘추 공히 유의성은 없었지만 보통육구에 비하여 방건지육구와 실내 vinyl house 육구가 높은 경향이었다. 7. 상기의 시험결과를 종합 검사하면 실내 vinyl house육구는 대조구에 비하여 1일 3회 급상으로도 좋은 성적을 얻었으므로 간이 공동사육을 위한 치잠기특수사육장으로서 적합하다고 사료된다.

  • Authors investigated the pathogenesis and treatment of dennatosurgical diseases in the ImJeungJiNamUiAn(臨證指南醫案). 1.   • The concept of makwon(膜原) holds great importance in the texts of Seup-yeoljobyeon(濕熱條辨). Research on the concept was based on Seolsaengbaek(薛生白)'s medical theories organized by Wang Maengyeong(王孟英). The results are as follows. Seolsaengbaek describes makwon as half-exterior half-interior(半表半裏) of yang-myeong(陽明) and half-exterior half-interior of the body. The half-exterior half-interior in these definitions each hold a different meaning. In half-exterior half-interior of yang-myeong, it refers to its mediating function, focusing on the location of makwon as yang-myeong. In half-exterior half-interior of the body, it refers to an intersection where the pathological mechanism of damp-heat disease(seup-yeoljeung 濕熱證) begins, and also where the course of the disease changes. This is why treatment of the makwon is included in treating many damp-heat disease symptoms. The conditions derived from the original damp-heat disease can follow the designated prognosis, or follow a reversed course. Because of its intersecting role, treating the makwon can help prevent aggravation. In treatment, consideration of the healthygi(jeonggi 正氣), the bodily fluids(jinaek 津液) with an understanding of the various prognosis is crucial.

고온고습시험에 의한 멀티 와이어 PV 모듈의 금속 간 화합물 층의 성장에 관한 연구 (A Study on Growth of Intermetallic Compounds Layer of Photovoltaic Module Interconnected by Multi-wires under Damp-heat Conditions)

  • Output power of photovoltaic (PV) modules installed outdoors decreases every year due to environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and ultraviolet irradiations. In order to promote the installation of PV modules, the reliability must be guaranteed. One of the important factors affecting reliability is intermetallic compounds (IMC) layer formed in ribbon solder joint. For this reason, various studies on soldering properties between the ribbon and cell have been performed to solve the reliability deterioration caused by excessive growth of the IMC layer. However, the IMC layer of the PV module interconnected by multi-wires has been studied less than using the ribbon. It is necessary to study soldering characteristics of the multi-wire module for improvement of its reliability. In this study, we analyzed the growth of IMC layer of the PV module with multi-wire and the degradation of output power through damp-heat test. The fabricated modules were exposed to damp-heat conditions (85 ºC and 85 % relative humidity) for 1000 hours and the output powers of the modules before and after the damp-heat test were measured. Then, the process of dissolving ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) as an encapsulant of the modules was performed to observe the IMC layer. The growth of IMC layer was evaluated using OM and FE-SEM for cross-sectional analysis and EDS for elemental mapping. Based on these results, we investigated the correlation between the IMC layer and output power of modules.

Muscarinic Receptor Subtype Controlling the Carbachol-Induced Muscle Contraction in Guinea Pig Gastric Antrum

  • Stimulation of muscarinic receptors by carbachol (CCh) in the circular smooth muscle of the guinea pig gastric antrum causes muscle contraction. In the present study, muscarinic receptor subtype controlling the muscle contraction in response to CCh was studied using putative muscarinic receptor antagonists. Isometric force of the isolated circular muscle strips was measured in an organ bath. CCh contracted the muscle in a dose-dependent way, and each of the three muscarinic receptor antagonists, 4-diphenylacetoxy- N-methylpeperdine methiodide (4-DAMP), methoctramine and pirenzepine shifted the concentration- response curves to the right without significantly reducing the maximum force. The affinities of the muscarinic antagonists $(pA_2\;values)$ obtained from Schild plot analysis were 10.15, 7.05 and 6.84 for 4-DAMP, methoctramine and pirenzepine, respectively. These results suggest that the $M_3-subtype$ mainly mediate the muscle contraction in response to CCh in guinea pig gastric antrum.

보조기층재료의 MR 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the MR Characteristics of Subbase Materials)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내에서 사용되고 있는 보조기층재료에 대해 변형측정정치의 위치 및 포화도에 따른 $M_R$값의 변화양상을 파악하고, 시료내의 입자크기(particle size)에 따른 치수효과(size effect)를 파악하여 적절한 $M_R$ 관계식을 제시하였다. 외부변형측정장치를 사용한 경우의 $M_R$값은 회복변형율을 과대평가 하기 때문에 내부변형측정장치를 사용한 경우보다 작았고, 포화도에 따른 $M_R$값은 wet 상태($S_r$=70%)가 damp 상태 ($S_r$=40%)보다 10% 정도 작게 나타났으며 시편을 구성하는 입자의 치수효과는 과대 입자(oversize particle)를 제거함에 따른 간극비의 변화와 직접적인 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이와같은 결과를 종합하여 보조기층의 $M_R$ 관계식은 damp 상태의 포화도에서, $M_R=3960{\cdot}{\theta}^{0.60}$ psi.로 제안할 수 있다.

십종요통(十種腰痛) 중 식적(食積).습열(濕熱) 요통(腰痛)의 증례보고 (A Case Report of Lumbago due to Retention of Undigested Food(食積) and Damp-heat(濕熱) in Ten Kinds of Lumbago)

  • What we want to report is the oriental medical treatment of eleven patients with lumbago. The patients had several features in common. First, the source of the lumbago was related to overdrinking or overeating, which is something like food damage(食傷) in oriental medicine. Second, they had symptoms of digestive trouble as well as lower back pain. Third, the R.O.M of lumbar spine was limited but there was no another special abnormality in physical examination. Fourth, singly they had muscular tenderness of Iliopsoas muscle and symptoms by Myofascial pain of Iliopsoas muscle was appeared. We assumed this sort of lumbago to be one due to retention of undigested food(食積) or damp-heat(濕熱) in oriental medicine, similar to Myofascial pain syndrome of Iliopsoas muscle in western counterpart. Acupuncture treatment was done to improve the digestive trobles according to oriental medical theory, and we saw the improvement in VAS score of lower back pain, degree of lumbar flexion, Iliopsoas muscle's tenderness and also digestive trobles. But an objective researches on the relation of lumbago due to retention of undigested food(食積) or damp-heat(濕熱) and myofascial pain syndrome of Iliopsoas muscle are quite lacking. However we think such a clinical approach could be useful in practices of oriental medicine increase in curative effect.

Enhancement of Electrical Properties on ZnO: Al Thin Film due to Hydrogen Annealing and SiO2 Coating in Damp-heat Environment

  • The electrical stability of ZnO: Al thin films deposited on glass substrate by the RF magnetron sputtering method have been modified by a hydrogen annealing treatment and $SiO_2$ protection layer. AZO thin films were deposited at room temperature and different RF powers of 50, 100, 150, and 200 W to optimize the AZO film growth condition. The lowest value of resistivity of $9.44{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}cm$ was obtained at 2 mtorr, room temperature, and a power level of 150 W. Then, the AZO thin films were annealed at $250-400^{\circ}C$ for 1 h in hydrogen ambient. The minimum resistivity obtained was $8.32{\times}10^{-4}{\Omega}cm$ as-annealed at $300^{\circ}C$. The electrical properties were enhanced by the hydrogen annealing treatment. After a 72 h damp-heat treatment in harsh conditions of a water steam at $110^{\circ}C$ for four representative samples, a degradation of electrical properties was observed. The sample of hydrogen-annealed AZO thin films with $SiO_2$ protection layer showed a slight degradation ratio(17%) of electrical properties and a preferable transmittance of 90%. The electrical stability of AZO thin films had been modified by hydrogen annealing treatment and $SiO_2$ protection layer.

규산질미분말혼합시멘트계도포방수재료가 습윤환경하의 콘크리트의 미세조직에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Siliceous Slury Coating on Microstructure of Concrete under Damp Environment)

  • This paper deals with the effect of siliceous slurry coating on concrete microstructure under damp environment. This material is mixed inorganic powder consisted of silica, cement and fine sand and water. Water pressure was given on the coated surface of concrete. for estimation on effect of siliceous slurry coating, microstructure of coated concrete was observed through SEM, and chemical components of crystals were analyzed with X-ray diffraction and EDX. A number of needle and fibrous crystals were produced in microstructure. And based on X-ray diffraction and EDX, needle crystal mainly consist of Al, Si, and Ca, and it is concluded to be ettringite. Fibrous crystals consist of Ca and Si, and it to be calcium silicate hydrate.

Type 3 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor stimulation is a determinant of endothelial barrier function and adherens junctions integrity: role of protein-tyrosine phosphatase 1B

  • The main purpose of this study was to investigate whether type 3 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (M3R) dysfunction induced vascular hyperpermeability. Transwell system analysis showed that M3R inhibition by selective antagonist 4-diphenylacetoxy-N-methylpiperidine methiodide (4-DAMP) and small interfering RNA both increased endothelial permeability. Using coimmunoprecipitation and Western blot assay, we found that M3R inhibition increased VE-cadherin and ${\beta}$-catenin tyrosine phosphorylation without affecting their expression. Using PTP1B siRNA, we found that PTP1B was required for maintaining VE-cadherin and ${\beta}$-catenin protein dephosphorylation. In addition, 4-DAMP suppressed PTP1B activity by reducing cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), but not protein kinase $C{\alpha}$ ($PKC{\alpha}$). These data indicate that M3R preserves the endothelial barrier function through a mechanism potentially maintaining PTP1B activity, keeping the adherens junction proteins (AJPs) dephosphorylation.
