국내 물류산업 현황과 발전전략: 제3자 물류를 중심으로 (Logistics Development Strategy in Korea: Focusing on 3PL)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 물류산업의 현황을 개략적으로 살펴보고 국내 물류산업의 주요한 발전 전략으로서 제3자 물류의 발전전략을 제언하고자 한다. 제3자 중심의 물류업이 발전하기 위해서는 물류기업측면에서 첫째, 물류기업은 고객 즉 화주를 중심에 놓고 화주에게 이익을 제공 할 수 있는 기업이 되어야 한다. 둘째, 물류서비스 수준의 폭과 깊이를 강화 하고 새로운 물류 서비스를 개발하는데 총력을 기울여야 한다. 셋째, 고객 맞춤의 통합 물류 시스템과 물류 서비스를 제공 할 수 있어야 한다. 넷째, 물류인력에 대한 적극적인 투자가 필요하다. 다섯째, 물류기업간 전략적 제휴가 활성화되어야 한다. 여섯째, 선진 물류기술의 도입과 적용에 적극적이어야 한다. 화주측면에서는 제3자 물류에 대한 인식을 새롭게 하고 물류가 기업의 핵심역량이 아닌 경우 과감하게 물류 부문을 제3자 물류기업에게 의뢰 할 수 있어야 한다. 마지막으로 정부는 물류기업이 제3자 물류 기업으로 자연스럽게 전환하도록 여건을 조성하는 것이 가장 주된 노력이 되어야 할 것이다.

  • 물류서비스는 경제주체간의 원활한 상품 수송을 도모하여 구매, 소비를 뒷받침하는 효율적 경제 및 시장의 필수조건이다. 특히 기업의 물류활동은 소비자에게 전달하고자하는 제품 및 서비스의 생산과 유통을 책임지는 필수 기업활동이자 기업 경쟁력의 원천이다. 그러나 국내 물류기업의 영세성 및 낮은 생산성, 물류산업체계의 비효율성, 2자 물류기업 중심으로 성장하면서 비롯된 전문 제3자 물류 전문시장의 성장 한계, 물류기업의 해외진출 미흡, 물류 전문인력 부족 등이 해결해야 할 과제이다. 따라서 본 연구는 제3자 물류업의 개념과 발전과정을 살펴보고, 국내 제3자 물류업 시장 현황을 분석하여 이를 근거로 수요측면 즉 기업측면, 공급측면, 정부의 정책적 지원측면으로 구분하여 국내 제3자 물류업의 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.

Exploratory Analysis of Patients With Gastric/Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma With or Without Liver Metastasis From the Phase 3 RAINBOW Study

  • Purpose: Liver metastasis (LM) is reported in approximately 40% of patients with advanced/metastatic gastric/gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma (metastatic esophagogastric adenocarcinoma; mGEA) and is associated with a worse prognosis. This post-hoc analysis from the RAINBOW trial reported the efficacy, safety, and biomarker outcomes of ramucirumab and paclitaxel combination treatment (RAM+PAC) in patients with (LM+) and without (LM-) LM at baseline. Materials and Methods: Patients (n=665) were randomly assigned on a 1:1 basis to receive either RAM+PAC (LM+: 150, LM-: 180) or placebo and paclitaxel (PL+PAC) (LM+: 138, LM-: 197). The overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) were evaluated using stratified Kaplan-Meier and Cox regression models. The correlation of dichotomized biomarkers (VEGF-C, D; VEGFR-1,2) with efficacy in the LM+ versus LM- subgroups was analyzed using the Cox regression model with reported interaction P-values. Results: The presence of LM was associated with earlier progression than those without LM, particularly in patients receiving PL+PAC (hazard ratio [HR], 1.68). RAM+PAC treatment improved OS and PFS irrespective of LM status but showed greater improvement in LM+ than that in LM- (OS HR, 0.71 [LM+] vs. 0.88 [LM-]; PFS HR, 0.47 [LM+] vs. 0.76 [LM-]). Treatment-emergent adverse events were similar between patients with and without LM. No predictive relationship was observed between biomarker levels (VEGF-C, D; VEGFR-1,2) and efficacy outcome (OS, PFS) (all interaction P-values >0.05). Conclusions: RAM provided a significant benefit, irrespective of LM status; however, its effect was numerically stronger in patients with LM. Therefore, RAM+PAC is a clinically meaningful therapeutic option for patients with mGEA and LM.

  • Since the introduction of product liability law from America in 1960s, product liability has been on the rise as an important problem to the quality management of company and consumer's safety. Together with this, before the legislation of product liability system in Korea, the sense and level of company and consumer about product safety are rapidly changing, In times like the present, ensuring more systematic product safety and consumer safety, and the buildup need of competitive power in accordance with product liability prevention of company grows raising. Therefore, this study presents the most effectively manageable ways of product liability the side of safety management of consumers and companies through the ensuring ways and activity models of product safety and certification system in company.

수출비용절감을 위한 3PL업체의 통합조직능력에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Integrated Organization Abilities in Third Party Logistics Korean Company for Reduction of Export Expense)

  • Third party logistics research is searching for increasing its logistics efficiency of organization. Perspective of resource-based theory, this study is to reveal the exploratory relation between integrated capabilities, organzaiton knowledge, and service performance. To develop the relational model, this study conducted a theoretical survey on Shang(2009)'s 3PL service providers research model and Synder & Cumming(1998)'s learning of organization knowledge. According to the result of correlation analysis, Integrated organization knowledge is positively correlated with service diversity advantage (correlation coefficient= .670, p-value= .000) and service quality advantage (correlation coefficient= .575, p-value= .000). The thesis argued that Korean companies try to apply integrated organization abilities and service performance for cutting their export expense.

운영 데이터를 활용한 제3자 물류 환경에서의 배송 트럭 무게 예측 (Truck Weight Estimation using Operational Statistics at 3rd Party Logistics Environment)

  • Many manufacturers applying third party logistics (3PLs) have some challenges to increase their logistics efficiency. This study introduces an effort to estimate the weight of the delivery trucks provided by 3PL providers, which allows the manufacturer to package and load products in trailers in advance to reduce delivery time. The accuracy of the weigh estimation is more important due to the total weight regulation. This study uses not only the data from the company but also many general prediction variables such as weather, oil prices and population of destinations. In addition, operational statistics variables are developed to indicate the availabilities of the trucks in a specific weight category for each 3PL provider. The prediction model using XGBoost regressor and permutation feature importance method provides highly acceptable performance with MAPE of 2.785% and shows the effectiveness of the developed operational statistics variables.

  • According to result of this paper, shipping companies tend to choose a third party logistics company that is able to provide consulting services that is the core of the administration of distribution. Shipping companies expect that the consulting services would be able to increase the efficiency through utilizing not logistics functions of shipping, unloading, storage, and information but performance indices of logistics activities. Because shipping companies generally regard that third party logistics not only has no expertise but also is small, in order to activate third-party logistics industry, the consulting services should be improved.

  • The World has been rapidly changing into either technological aspects or perception of those who has utilised to the corresponding informational impact. Whatever areas we have actually been involved in are strongly connected with this evolution of informational technology in one way or another. Logistics is not a exception as well as trade. Two main routes in distribution channel such as commercial and physical flow of goods, have been operating in terms of I-business. In order to activate E-trade with E-commerce, E-logistics should be utilised and emphasized in more efficient and effective manner of doing job as a facilitator. So, in this paper, it studied the role of E-logistics to make E-trade better work as well as to look into present situations in E-commerce. Then, it was identified that some facilities as 3PL or shipping company have to adopt information in their business process with a view of valued add service providers. This means those who have implemented E-Logistics activities, should be more competitive in the market, only when they provide the value-added total logistics services.

  • In global competition composition changing rapidly, domestic industry faces changes and logistics industry, one of service industries, is recognized as an important factor for development of domestic industry and national economy. At this moment, companies must suggest differentiated service, strategies, etc. so as to create and maintain competitive advantages in comparison with other companies. The requirements preannounce big movement of third party logistics market. Therefore, government, logistics industry and academic world have suggested lots of studies so as to vitalized third party logistics market. The purposes of this research are to verify that innovative changes are necessary to be existing in fierce competition of third party logistics market and analyze the effects of third party logistics on logistics outcomes so as to form continuous relations with shipper.

제조물책임에 대한 소비자와 생산자의 인식수준에 관한 연구 (A Survey on Cognition Levels of Consumers and Producers for Product Liability)

  • A company is liable for its products and has the responsibility to make good on any loss or damage incurred by the user of its product. The purpose of the Product Liability Act(PLA) is to protect consumers against damage caused by defective products, and contribute to the safety of the citizen's life and the sound development of the national economy by regulating the liability of manufacturers, etc. for damages caused by the defectiveness of their products. In this study, the cognition levels of consumers and producers for PLA were surveyed. The cognition levels of four factors of acknowledgement, comprehension, necessity and impact for PLA were assessed. The results were as follows : i) Acknowledgement and comprehension levels of consumer were assessed low but they assessed necessity and impact of PLA high; ii) Producers assessed necessity and impact of PLA higher than their acknowledgement and comprehension levels; iii) Overall cognition levels of producers were higher than those of consumers.
