Ultra Wide-Band용 타원형 모노폴 안테나 설계 (Design of the Elliptic Monopole Antenna for Ultra Wide-Band)

  • The use of a single UWB antenna which covers a wide range of frequencies is very desirable for future wireless communications system. In this paper, we propose a novel wide band printed elliptic monopole antenna for UWB(Ultra wide Band). Wideband planar monopole disc antenna have been recently studied. The proposed antenna can cover UWB frequencies from 3.5GHz to 12GHz. it is determined from 10dB return loss. The antenna consists of the printed elliptical monopole disc with microstrip-line feed. Elliptic disc of antenna and ground height operate important to matching. The results of measurement are almost similar to those of simulation.

  • WDM(Wavelength division multiplexing) light wave communication system requires MUX/DeMUX and optical filter OADM can be used to extract and add the specific wavelength channel from the transmission line. In this paper, we propose the OADM based on MZI and cascade FBG. It is able to minimize system and reduce sidelobe. So, we have considered MZI structure and 3dB coupler. Using the coupled mode theory. We also analyze out characteristics of OADM and experiment. From results obtained by experiment and computer. Simulation, the proposed OADM with cascade FBG works well. we hope that the obtained result in this paper con be used as the data to design the OADM with cascade FBG.

  • This paper presents a structure of the Wilkinson power divider that can suppress the 9ea harmonic output. The power divider consists of ${\lambda}/4n$ open stubs, which are located at the $3{\lambda}/4$ branches and parallel connection of resistor which shunts the output ports. Experimental results show that this power divider suppresses from 1st to 9th harmonic components to less than -37dB, while maintaining the characteristics of a conventional Wilkinson power divider; featuring an equal power split, a simultaneous impedance matching at all ports and a good isolation between output ports. these results agree quite well with the simulation results.

  • EMI emission characteristics of 42" AC-PDP panel are investigated in this paper. First, EMI emission source was modeled the scan electrode and the sustain electrode to a simple electric and magnetic dipole type radiator. Second, EMI emission source was modeled as reconfigured the scan electrode and the sustain electrode. The primary source of EMI emission was investigated using FEM calculation of the wave impedance and 3 dB beam width. The third. the EMI emission level was estimated using the measured sustain electrode current. Also, EMI emission level of 42" AC-PDP was measured. The results show that the calculated EMI emission level from the simple electric dipole model was shown to agree with that from the corresponding FEM simulation.

  • The purpose of this paper is analyses about in 12kV/50kA vacuum interrupter with an axial magnetic field type electrode system through the studies of electromagnetic phenomena. Vacuum interrupter is important in electric safety part. In this paper, we performed analysis of electric field, magnetic field, current density in AMF electrode using the Maxwell 3D simulation. The current distribution and magnetic field in simple models are analyzed to verify its efficiency and accuracy. In addition the validity of FEM is confirmed by performing the analyses of distribution in current density and magnetic flux density.

Array 안테나와 간섭제거기에 의한 DS-CDMA 통신 시스템의 성능분석 (Performance Analysis of DS-CDMA Communication Systems with Array Antenna and CCI Canceller)

  • In this paper, error performance of DS-CDMA communication system has been analyzed in a radio channel which is characterized by multi-user interference (MUI). Also, performance improvement has been obtained by both numerical analysis and simulation techniques when 3-element array antenna and co-channel interference (CCI) canceller are employed as a means for overcoming an MUI effect. The MUI was modelled as a gaussian random process. In array antenna scheme we only considered a directivity of antennal. The results show that there is a substantial enhancement in performance by employing an array antenna or a CCI canceller. CCI canceller gives better improvement in performance than the array antenna with D=2.67. Additional improvement can be obtained when the array antenna and the CCI canceller are adopted in cascade form. In this case the error performance approaches that of AWGN environment.

Identifying the Appropriate Position on the Ground Plane for MIMO Antennas Using Characteristic Mode Analysis

  • In this paper, a method for identifying the appropriate position on the ground plane for antennas is proposed based on the current correlation coefficient ($C^3$). This method explains that the mutual coupling between antennas when locating several antennas on the same ground plane is necessary. Given the current distribution on the ground plane induced by each antenna, easily estimating the coupling between antennas is possible. This paper also demonstrates that the proposed method can be used in the design of a multi-input multi-output system. The measured data are in good agreement with the simulation results.

  • This paper has proposed a method to analyze a 30 KVA superconducting generator using 3-dimensional FEM program. 3 kinds of 3D formulation methods are employed such as scalar potential in core region, reduced scalar potential in air region and T-${\omega}$ formulation in stator coil region. As results of the simulation, various parameters of the generator have been analyzed like air gap flux density, induced voltage, inductance, etc.

성형작약탄 금속제트 산란을 위한 대전류 펄스의 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Analysis of Intense Electric Current Pulse to Disperse Shaped Charge Metal Jet)

  • 성형작약탄에 의해 발생되는 금속제트에 대전류 펄스가 인가되면 금속제트 내 외부에 전자기장이형성 되고 생성된 전자기장에 의해 전자기력이 작용하여 금속제트를 분산 및 산란시키게 된다. 대전류펄스 인가장치는 RLC 회로로 구성되어 있고 두 전극판 사이로 금속제트가 관통되어 진행할 때 대전류펄스가 흐르게 된다. 본 연구에서는 ALE 기법을 이용한 2 차원 축 대칭 해석을 통해 두 전극판을 통과할 때의 금속제트 단면 형상을 예측하고, 2 차원 해석 모델에서 얻어낸 금속제트 단면을 3 차원 유한요소 모델로 재구성하여 금속제트에 전류를 직접 인가하였다. 또한, 유한요소해석을 통하여 금속제트에 직접적으로 대전류 펄스를 인가시켜 금속제트의 변형된 형상과 발생하는 전자기력을 계산하였으며, 금속제트의 산란을 일으키는데 영향을 주는 대전류 펄스의 주요 설계변수 특성에 대하여 검증하였다.

주파수 합성기의 위상 잡음이 SFH/M-NCFSK 시스템에 미치는 영향 (Effects of the Phase Noise in the Frequency Synthesizer on the SFH/M-NCFSK System)

  • 본 논문에서는 SFH/M-NCFSK(slow frequency hopping/M-ary non-coherent frequency shift keying) 시스템을 대상으로 FH주파수 합성기에 위상 잡음이 통신 성능에 미치는 영향에 대해 주파수 편차라는 개념으로 새로이 연구하였다. Square-law 검출기를 이용한 비동기 FSK 복조 방식을 사용하고, FH 주파수 합성기의 위상잡음을 고려한 SFH 시스템에 대해 해석적 방법으로 심볼 오류 확률을 추하였다. 주파수 한성기의 위상 잡음 전력 스펙트럼 분포와 대응하는 표준주파수편차 (equation omitted)와 SFH/M-NCFSK 시스템의 호핑 주파수 간격에 따른 통신 성능을 분석하였다. 표준 주파수 편차가 약 4.0 Hz일 경우, SFH/2-NCFSK 시스템에서 호핑 주파수 간격이 1/T$_{h}$=30 일 때, Ps=$10^{-3}$을 만족하는 SNR은 약 13.4 dB이다. 이것은 위상 잡음이 없을 때보다 약 2.4 dB의 전력 손실이 발생한다. SFH/4-NCFSK와 SFH/8-NCFSK 시스템에서는 각각 약 2.8 dB와 2.6 dB치 전력손실을 가진다. 호핑 주파수 간격이 1/T$_{h}$=30 이하이면, error floor가 생겨서 SER 성능이 악화된다. 시뮬레이션에 치한 분석 결과를 제시하였고, 해석적 방법에 의한 분석 결과와 일치함을 확인하였다.하였다.
