3D프린터에 대한 기술수용모델(TAM) 검증에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제3의 산업혁명을 이끌고 있는 3D프린터에 대해 미래 중추적 역할을 담당할 3D프린팅 교육생의 3D프린터 사용의도를 기술수용모델(TAM)에 기반하여 검증하기 기초연구이다. 본 목적을 달성하기 위하여 서울의 3D프린팅 교육기관 교육전문가 조사를 실시하였으며, 차후 교육 대상자를 설문조사하여 3D프린터에 대한 기술수용의도를 파악하고 분석하고자 한다. 또한, 분석한 결과를 통해 미래 제조업 창업의 핵심 역할을 담당할 3D프린터 사용 활성화를 위한 연구기반을 마련하고자 한다. '3D프린팅 넥스트 레볼루션'의 저자 크리스토퍼 바넷은 언젠가는 3D프린팅이 우리의 삶을 혁명적으로 바꿀 것이라고 예상하고 있다. 3D프린터를 통해 개개인은 맞춤형 제품을 만들어 낼 것이 틀림없다. 치과 의료, 운송 및 항공, 로봇, 군용, 우주, 건축, 요리 등에서 다양하게 3D프린터를 활용한 제품들이 미래에 쏟아져 나올 것으로 예상한다. 생산의 민주화를 이끌 3D프린터는 기존 산업에 큰 기회와 동시에 위협을 주고 있다. 크라우드 및 네트워크를 통한 3D데이터 거래와 지구촌 여러 곳에 3D프린터가 활용된다면, 기존 산업에 혁명적인 변화가 있으리라 짐작된다. 전문가 인터뷰 결과를 기반으로 3D프린터 사용의도에 영향을 주는 5가지 요인으로 3D모델링 경험, 비용, 품질, 유희성, 혁신성이 나타났다. 5가지 독립변인은 TAM모델의 인지된 사용 유용성과 3D프린터에 대한 기술수용의도를 파악해 보고자 한다. 3D프린터 교육기간, 전공 및 학과, 개인의 경험과 혁신성의 차이가 3D프린터 기술수용 여부에 영향을 줄 것으로 예상된다. 서울지역 3D프린터 관련 교육기관에서 교육을 받았거나 받고 있는 학생을 대상으로 연구를 할 계획이며, 지역을 확대한 연구가 차후 필요할 것이다.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 중학교 정보 교과에서 3D 프린터를 활용하는 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 연구는 문헌조사를 중심으로 이루어 졌다. 먼저, 3D 프린터에 관한 효과성과 각 과목별 활용사례에 관한 선행 연구를 분석하였다. 다음으로 중학교 정보 교과 교육 과정을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 중학교 정보 교과 영역 중 '문제해결과 프로그래밍' 영역이 3D 프린터를 활용하기에 가장 적합하다고 판단되어 해당 영역에서 3D 프린터를 활용할 수 있는 두 가지 방안을 제시하였다. 첫째는 3D 프린터를 프로그래밍의 도구로 활용하는 것이고, 둘째는 3D 모델링과 프린팅 자체를 통해 학습하는 것이다.

  • A recent increase of interests on the influence of 3D printing and low prices of 3D printers makes a high possibility of 3D printer adoption as a educational equipment in public education settings. The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy proposed '3D printing industry development strategies', and had pilot schools to include understanding of 3D printing concepts and practices in the primary, secondary and high schools' curriculum. However, even if 3D printers were provided in educational settings, the research on educational content and methods to properly react to this change is very limited. Therefore, this study reviewed various 3D modeling software because a modeling skill is a prerequisite skill to use 3D printers, and proposed a creative design spiral based teaching content that can be incorporated in elementary school contexts.

The Analysis of Learner's Motivation and Satisfaction with 3D Printing in Science Classroom (3D 프린팅을 활용한 과학 수업에서 학습자의 동기와 만족감 분석)

  • Technology is an important means to enhance students' understanding about scientific concepts. In particular, newly introduced 3D printing technology has great potential to help students learn scientific concepts better. 3D printing is a process for a creating physical object with a three dimensional model. In this study, we explored two types of learners' (students vs. adults) motivation and satisfaction with 3D printing technology. With regard to motivation, student learners showed higher task value, self-efficacy for learning, and satisfaction than adult learners. The result implied that 3D printing technology is more effective to student learners than adult learners. In addition, for adult learner group, negative relationship between technology and satisfaction was found. Therefore, support for reducing the technology anxiety for adult learners is necessary. Further discussions are provided for the research and application of 3D printing technology in science classroom.

  • 현대사회에서 소프트웨어는 기존에 비해서 매우 중요한 역할을 가지고 있다. 여러 국가에서는 소프트웨어 프로그래밍 교육이 교과과정에 반영되었으며 우리나라는 2015개정교육과정을 통해 반영되었다. 또한 실제적인 문제해결의 기회를 제공하는 피지컬 컴퓨팅이 포함되었다. 하지만 단순하게 회로만 이용해서는 학생들의 흥미를 가지게 하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 중학교에서 피지컬 컴퓨팅의 효율적인 수업을 위해 3D 프린터를 이용해서 제작한 교구를 바탕으로 수업에 활용하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 우선 수업하고자하는 피지컬 컴퓨팅 회로를 구현하였으며 이를 3D 프린터를 이용하여 적절한 교구를 설계하는 과정으로 이루어진다.

The Effect of the Integrative Education Using a 3D Printer on the Computational Thinking Ability of Elementary School Students (3D프린터를 활용한 융합교육이 초등학생의 컴퓨팅 사고력에 미치는 영향)

  • One of the goals of the new 2015 revised curriculum is to cultivate the creativity of students who will live in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to create new things through diverse ideas and challenges based on basic learning skills. Accordingly, in order to solve the given problems rationally, the convergence problem solving ability that can process and utilize various areas of knowledge and information is becoming important. Therefore, in this study, we designed the integrative education using a 3D printer based on Tinkercad modeling and applied it to the class to investigate the effect on the improvement of computing thinking ability of elementary school students. To verify the contents of the study, two classes of 25 sixth-grade elementary school students were divided into an experimental group and a controlled group. For the experimental group, 12 classes of convergence education programs using a 3D printer were applied for about three months, and the same amount of general curriculum was conducted for the control group. After that, the t-tests were carried out using the pre-post test to measure the effectiveness of the computational thinking ability. After the application of the program, the experimental group showed statistically significant improvement in computational thinking ability, but the controlled group showed no statistically significant difference. The results show that convergence education using the Tinkercad modeling-based 3D printer has a positive effect on the improvement of computing thinking ability of elementary school students.

Effects of design education program for young Children using 3D printer on creativity improvement (3D 프린터 활용 유아디자인교육 프로그램이 유아의 창의성 및 유용성 증진에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the effect on the creativity and Usability of young Children by applying design education pro young Children gramfor using 3D printer to the kindergarten field and, through the results, to prepare a realistic way to increase the utilization of 3D printer media in infant classrooms. In order to achieve this research purpose, 38 infants aged 5 from G kindergarten located in metropolitan A are divided into each experimental group and comparative group, and from August 2017 to January 2018, data were collected through 15 experiments over a period of about 6 months. As a research tool, in the Korean version of Torrance's Creativity Test, an infant shape test and a usability test scale were used, and the data processing and analysis were conducted through technical statistical methods and covariance analysis. As a result of the study, the program using 3D printer had a statistically significant effect on promoting creativity and Usability of young Children, and in particular, it had a remarkable effect on the elaboration of creativity composition. Based on these results, discussions on the existing Nuri process, which mainly aims to cultivate creative talents, the possibility of connecting 3D printers more widely and the role of teachers were made.

  • Recently, diverse bio-growth and object production experience learning contents have been developed for AR-based storytelling. In this paper, we will develop a storytelling-based growth type content using 3D printer which can add interest in and motivation of experiential learning. It is possible to increase the value of the characters produced by 3D printer as they can be used as personal collections. The bio-growth type content enables the learners and users to experience the local culture, history, and tourism ecology, which can enhance the educational effect by promoting their understanding in a fun way. The purpose of this study is to develop an application for experiential learning contents which creates a virtual environment in an object smart device where you can experience the culture and ecology of a learning community, and then produce the output using the 3D printer to keep as a personal souvenir. The developed contents application for experiential learning can be utilized not only for students but also for tourists. It is expected to serve as a source for further development of various contents through 3D printing technology.

  • 4차 산업혁명이 언급되면서 3D 프린터, 로봇, 인공지능, 빅데이터 등 신기술이 발전하고 이는 사회 구조를 변화시킬 것으로 예상된다. 이에 새로운 디지털 기기, 기술들을 이해하는 디지털 리터러시가 중요해지고 있다. 2015 OECD PISA에서 ICT 배경조사 중 한국은 접근성, 활용성 부분과 2018 국가수준 디지털 리터러시 수준 측정연구, 학생들의 디지털 기기의 인식 여부 및 활용 여부 실태조사를 바탕으로 디지털 기기 활용 공간 구성 및 디지털 기기 활용 콘텐츠를 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 먼저 구체적 조작기인 초등학생임을 고려하여 디지털 기기 위주 프로그램으로 선정하였다. 디지털 기기 활용 공간은 기반 기기로 컴퓨터(노트북), 유 무선 인터넷, 디지털 기기로 3D 프린터 및 3D 프린팅 펜, 스마트폰 기반 VR기기, AR마커, 블록코딩 기반 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교구 등을 이용해서 구성하였다. 활용하는 콘텐츠는 학생들의 인식 여부 및 수준에 맞춰 체험 위주의 프로그램과 학습, 콘텐츠 제작, 문제해결 프로그램으로 제시하였다.

  • 3D printing has the advantage of providing opportunities for individuals to truly realize their creativity. An increasing number of people want to take advantage of this feature but they have lack opportunities for suitable printing training and struggle with problems with incorrect printing methods. Therefore, the lowered print quality lowers the interest of the user, and the 3D printer is not used gradually. In this study, we directly operate the device by identifying and analyzing the problems occurred to solve malfunctions of 3D printers and improve the convenience for user. In particular, we are conducting research on solving and mitigating problems with seating, stringing and nozzle clogging. In addition, the method of reducing material consumption and shortening the printing time was considered through experiments on the functions of 3D printers. Finally, by solving the printing problem that occurs frequently during 3D printing, it was possible to obtain a printed product with a complete appearance and improved convenience.
