  • The purpose of this study is to provide a basic study for a desirable bathroom planning of the 30s pyung apartments. This study explores the change of the bathroom planning and analyzes the bathroom plans of the existing apartments. The data are 927 case of the bathroom plans of the 30s pyung apartments constructed in Seoul and the new town between 1971-2003. Where 145,807 households live. In this study, a trend of the bathroom form, numble in the 30s pyung apartments are examined. For the better planning of the bathroom. factors like family size. life cycle, and manner of bathroom use should be analyzed in the future studies. The analysis of the dweller's consciousness, satisfaction, and the demands on the bathroom in 30s pyung apartments, and to give useful information on bathroom planning of 30s pyung apartments.

  • The oh purpose of this study is to provide a basic study for a desirable bathroom planning of the 30s pyung apartments. This study explores the change of the bathroom planning and analyzes the bathroom plans of the existing apartments. The data are 2053 case of the bathroom plan of the 30s pyung apartments constructed in Seoul and the new town between 1971-2004. In this stud, a settlement process and trend of the two bathroom plan in the 30s pyung apartments are examined. The findings were as follows: 1) The introduction of the two bathroom from 1970 to 1980. 2) The introduction of the two bathroom from 1990 to 2000. For the better planning of the bathroom, factors like family size, life cycle, and manner of bathroom use should be analyzed in the future studies. The analysis of the dweller's consciousness, satisfaction, and the demands on the bathroom in 30s pyung apartments, and to give useful information on the bathroom of 30s pyung apartments.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a basic study for a desirable bathroom planning of the 30s pyung apartment. The survey was performed to the housewives of 30s pyung apartments in Seoul. The purpose of the survey was to examine the dweller's consciousness, satisfaction, and demands on bathroom in 30s pyung apartments, and to give useful information on bathroom planning of 30s pyung apartment. Some details shoul be considered in bathroom planning of 30s pyung spartments. It seems that the bathrooms of bath unit and extra sink and a toilet stool are the most approriate type in 30s pyung apartment among present bathroom types. It is suitable that the bathroom is close to bedroom and the bathroom door faces the wall. There is much meed for a showercurtain and more comfortable toilet stool. It is necessary to reduce the noise of toilet stool and reinforce the soundproofing fuction in bathroom. And the function of ventilation, drainage, and insulation should be improved for better bathroom enivronment. The implications of this findings for apartment bathroom planning and future research were discussed.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the patterns of domestic space usage. A questionnaire survey and interview are adopted in this study, and 426 residents living in apartment with 3 bedrooms, stairway access, and 3-bay style in the City of Seoul, Busan and Gwangju. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows: The most typical activities in the Anbang are ${\ulcorner}$sleeping and getting dressed${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$family communication and T.V.watching${\lrcorner}$, and ${\ulcorner}$private affairs${\lrcorner}$. The most typical activities in the living room are ${\ulcorner}$family interaction${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$entertaining guest with meals${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$children's private affairs${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$private affairs${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$hobby activities${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$clothes management${\lrcorner}$, ${\ulcorner}$couple interaction${\lrcorner}$, and ${\ulcorner}$occasions${\lrcorner}$. The representative patterns of activities in dining-kitchen is ${\ulcorner}$food preparation${\lrcorner}$.

Study on the optimal storage-capacity based on the commodity volume in apartments - Focused on $85m^2$ apartment - (물품부피에 근거한 적정수납용적에 관한 연구 - 30평형대 아파트를 중심으로 -)

  • Because of economic growth and the social trend to respect individuality, people's average commodity volume tends to increase. It makes people perceive the importance of storage space. The storage planning without consideration of commodity volume in the apartment can not satisfy the needs of residents. This study is developed focused on the $85m^2$ apartment which is the most representative and general type. The objectives of the study are to investigate the storage-capacity of $85m^2$ apartment offered by 4 construction companies to know the present storage condition, to investigate the average volumes and type of commodities in 30 families located in Seoul and Kyungkido to produce the necessary storage-capacity, and lastly to produce optimal storage-capacity and proportion of optimal storage-capacity considering the volume of the furniture owned by each resident. The results of the study are 1) the storage capacity for commodity volume in $85m^2$ apartment is $19.41m^3$. 2) the optimal storage-capacity which only counts the storage volume of built-in furniture is $17.14m^3$ 3) the proportion of optimal storage-capacity is 9.5% of the house-capacity.

  • This study analysed the characteristics of residential mobility according to the household's life-cycle to observe the housing filtering process in Busan. The questionary subjects were adult 40 and over who inhabited in Busan and surveyed residential career about residential mobility. The analysis result of statistical data and result of questionary reveals similar result every articles, the summaries are as follows : Examining housing where the respondent live presently, apartment dominate absolutely high ratio as housing type and owner-occupation as housing tenure type, and housing size is about 30 pyeong, dwelling period is 6 years to 10 years. Saving and loan hold a large majority to make housing capital, that means, they apply housing finance to getting own housing despite it is impossible with present household's income to have owner-occupation of desired housing. This is different custom ours from foreign's that rent a house. However, as aspect of residential satisfaction, most household recognised that quality is improved, because residential mobility expanded housing size and changed tenure type and showed fairly high satisfaction with their present resident.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore behavioral patterns on residential spaces such as the patterns of residential space usage and perception on residential spaces. A questionnaire survey and interview were conducted with 426 residents living in apartment with 3 bedrooms, stairway access, and 3-bay style in the City of Seoul, Busan, and Gwangju, during the month of September in 2004. The data was analyzed with frequency, factor analysis by using the SPSS 10.0 for windows, and with proc iml by using SAS. The major findings of this study were that: 1) The most typical activities in the Anbang are $\ulcorner$sleeping and getting dressed$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$family communication and T.V. watching$\lrcorner$, and $\ulcorner$private affairs$\lrcorner$ ; Anbang(master bedroom) has been perceived and used as couple's private area. 2) Living room was used as a multi-purpose room carrying out various activities such as $\ulcorner$family interaction$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$entertaining guest with meals$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$children's private affairs$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$private affairs$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$hobby activities$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$clothes management$\lrcorner$, $\ulcorner$couple interaction$\lrcorner$, and $\ulcorner$occasions$\lrcorner$. 3) The representative patterns of activities in dining-kitchen was food $\ulcorner$preparation$\lrcorner$, and the need for social interaction in DK has been growing. The patterns of residential space usages can be used to develop and evaluate the unit plan of Korean middle-size apartment.

가사활동에 따른 피로도 감소를 위한 입좌식 부엌가구의 개발에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구는 주부들의 주활동공간인 부엌가구와 공간의 설계에 있어사용하기 편리하며 가사활동에 따 른 피로를 경감시키고 요통과 같은 주부직업병을 예방할 수 있는 부엌가구와 공간의 개발에 그 목적을 두었다. 연구는 먼저 수도권의 32평형 규모의 아파트150가구를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 만 24시간동안의 실제 가사활동을 Video로 촬영하여 동작분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 주부들은 수납의 용 이성과 공간의 크기, 작업대의 높이 등을 가장 많은 개선사항으로 지적하였으며, 절반이상의 주부들이 앉은 자세에서 작업이 이루어졌으면 좋겠다고 응답하였다. 또한 동작분석 결과 작업의 70%이상이 개수 대를 중심으로 조리대와 가열대 주변의 한정된 공간에서정적으로 선 자세에서이루어지는 것으로 파악 되었다. 이러한 선 자세에서의 작업에 따른 피로도를 감소시키기 위하여 입좌식 의자를 도입하였으며, 개수대를 씽크대의 'ㄱ'자 코너에 위치하여 주방활동시의 이동거리를 단축하고자 하였다. 피로도의 경감 을 측정하기 위하여 입좌식 의자를 도입한 개선된 씽크대와 기존의 입식씽크대에서 가사활동시 요구되는 주부들의 에너지 대사량을 비교하기 위하여 심장박동수와 산소호흡량을 측정하였다. 실험결과에 따르면 주방에 입좌식의자를 도입한 경우가 가사활동에 요구되는 에너지 소모량이 심장박동수와 산소호흡량의 기준에서 각각 평균적으로 30%와 57.5% 이상이 감소하는 것으로 파악되어 이러한 부엌가구의 도입으로 주부들의 가사활동에따른 피로도가 절반 가까이 감소될 수 있음을 니타내었다. 또한 부엌가구의 재배치 에따른 가사활동시 이동거리가 평균적으로5.5%이상이 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 주방설 계에 적용할 경우 가사활동의 효율성과 편리성이 향샹됨은 물론 가사활동에따른 피로도를 경감 시키고 요통 등의 주부직업병을 예방할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.1일 1회씩 4회 투여한 군에서도 암수에 상관없이 전 농도 군에서 염색체이상을 나타내지 않아 유전독성을 나타내지 않음을 관찰하였다. 특히 vitamin C와 E의 병용투여는 상승적으로 적용하여 간세포손상을 더욱 억제시킴을 알 수 있었다.mance and on TFP(Total Factor Productivity) growth which is a pure measure of firm performance.   • In Contemporary residential area, especially apartment commplex, crime affect the quality of life and sustainability of cities. So our interest is an all-time high in the role that planning processes and the design of the physical environment can play in reducing the opportunity for crime. The purpose of this study try to find the possibility of application of CPTED in Urban Apartment Complex. Recently, as increase of residencial density, diverse and new types of crime are increasing in urban apartment complex. It is the current of times which demand our serious consideration. This research focused on crime reduction through the physical environmental control methods. And the concepts and contents of CPTED are studied and the case studies of developed countries are surveyed. For groping in the practical application, researched into the case study of apartment blocks in medium sized city, Cheongju. Also Local crime prevention initiatives require partnership working, both between professionals and with local communities. The result of this study has implicated, increasing importance on daily safety issue in urban life and examining the possibility of applying crime prevention and reduction program and systems.
