인가 자장에 의한 초전도 Nb 박막의 비선형적인 자장분포 해석 (Non-linear Analysis for Penetrated Magnetic Field in Superconducting Nb Foil)

  • 이미 개발된 리니어형 초전도 전류 보상기는 다양한 동작 조건에서 충전 전류 실험을 통해 검증되었고, 고자장 초전도 마그넷용 전류보상기로 적용하기위한 기본적인 특성을 수행하고 있다. 충전전류는 초전도 Nb 박막에 인가되는 자장의 크기와 이동속도(주파수)에 영향을 받아 발생됨이 실험적으로 이미 확인되었다. 특히 인가 주파수가 임계점이상 (20 Hz이상)에서 충전전류가 서서히 감소되는 비선형적인 충전특성이 확인되었다. 본 논문에서는 초전도 Nb 박막에 침투되는 자장의 분포를 3D FEM을 이용하여 자장분포 해석을 수행하였다. 초전도 Nb 박막에 인가되는 자속의 이동속도에 따른 침투영역의 크기 변화를 근거로 침투자속에 따른 초전도 Nb 박막의 비선형성을 확인하였다.

  • Motivated by needs such as those in the aerospace industry, this paper demonstrates ability to significantly increase buckling loads of perforated composite laminated plates by synergizing FEM and a genetic optimization algorithm (GA). Plate geometry is discretized into specially-developed 3D degenerated eight-node shell isoparametric layered composite elements. General shell theory, involving incremental nonlinear finite element equilibrium equation, is employed. Fiber orientation within individual plies of each element is controlled independently by the genetic algorithm. Eigen buckling analysis is performed using the subspace iteration method. Available results demonstrate the approach is superior to more conventional methodologies such as modifying ply thickness or the stacking sequence of individual rectilinear plies having common fiber orientation through the plate.

환형 가스터빈 연소기에서 종방향 및 횡방향 음향모드 커플링 (Acoustic Coupling between Longitudinal and Transverse Modes in an Annular Gas Turbine Combustor)

  • Transverse acoustic mode in annular combustion chambers affects air-fuel mixing characteristics in the nozzle and can result in heat release fluctuations in the combustor. In addition, the acoustic mode coupling between the nozzle and the combustion chamber is one of the key parameters determining combustion instability phenomenon in the annular combustor. In this study, acoustic coupling between the nozzle and annular combustor was numerically analyzed using 3D-based in house FEM code. As a result, it was found that the acoustic mode inside the combustion chamber at anti-node locations of the transverse mode was strongly influenced by the nozzle inlet boundary conditions.

돌극형 회전자 단상 SRM의 유도기전력 산출 (Computing EMF of Salient Pole Rotor Type Single Phase SRM)

  • Salient pole rotor type single phase SRM(switched reluctance motor) can be use axial direction magnetic flux and radial direction magnetic flux at the same time. Then, it has higher energy density per unit volume and can be lessened the shaft length of motor or exciting magnetic force. Additionally, it's durability is good because it is simple structure and driving device. Prototype of Salient pole rotor type single phase SRM was fabricated by using parameters of three phase SRM and 3D FEM analysis. Also, driving device was fabricated for prototype. Speed and torque characteristic was confirmed through the experiments, and flux linkage, which is important parameter of SRM for generating torque, was measured. The induction emf was calculated by using ideal inductance graph and current graph. Calculated emf and measured emf was compared for confirming loss of prototype in this paper.

강성매설관에 작용하는 연직토압에 관한 수치적 연구 (A study on the Vertical Earth Pressure in rigid buried pipe by numerical approach)

  • In this Paper, to calculate vertical earth pressure affected from several factors in case of rigid buried pipe with cohesionless backfill soil. The result from PENTAGON 3D is compared with several equation's result such as the Janssen, Marston, Spangler, Handy's equation. Result of study shows that vertical earth pressure of each equation is affected by backfill width, backfill depth and wall friction. And vertical earth pressure is linearly increased with backfill depth and backfill width. Marston's equation and Handy's equation are overestimated and FEM(Finite Element method) analysis and Janssen's Silo equation are affected by more backfill depth than backfill width.

롤포밍 공정에서의 롤 마모에 관한 연구 (A Study on Roll Wear in the Roll Forming Process)

  • This study show a numerical method to predict roll wear in the roll forming process. Archard's wear model was reformulated in an elemental form to predict volume of roll wear and then wear depth on the roll was calculated using the results of finite element analysis. Abrasive wear occurs at contact area in the roll forming process and the results of simulation are compared with experimental data in production line. The wear simulation approach with 3-D FEM program for roll forming process, SHAPE-RF is in good agreement with it in tendency.

  • At recently, it is regarded efficiency of the electric motor. and the development of the electric motor of new concept and research according to the development of new material and a elevation of magnetic property of magnetism material have been processed actively. One of the that, the transverse flux linear electric motor is studing actively about application method in many ways. because it has high power density and efficiency more than a induction motor.   • In this paper, magnetic force on acting arc was analyzed by 3-D FEM for three DC arc-quenching rooms having different magnetic flux paths. We measured arc breaking time in prototypes by experiment so that we compared the relation of magnetic force and arc breaking time. Finally, we present the techniques for magnetically-driven arc and for the prediction of arc breaking time.

  • The characteristic of sheet metal process is the few loss of material during process, the short processing time and the excellent price and strength. Such press-forming process are the used machine ability and the characteristic, used material, the accuracy of the part which becomes processing and side condition of a process are considered and the designed. The purpose of this study is apply efficiently sheet metal forming processing by 3D formation-analyzed program simulations in the site. By a study, forming process was simulation to drawing and trimming and cam process using static-implicit method software. By making apply this to an industrial site the productivity improvement and cost reduction etc. effect able was predicted.

Estimations of Regional Stress Based on Measured Local Stress

  • Estimations of regional stress are demonstrated in this paper. Firstly, regional stress is defined and the characteristics of regional stress are then discussed based on the local stresses measured by the Compact Conical-ended Borehole Overcoring (CCBO) technique and the results from the earthquake focal mechanism. Secondly, the regional stresses are estimated by a back analysis of three-dimensional finite element models, using the local stresses measured by the CCBO and hydraulic fracturing.
