In this paper, we have designed 800[MHz] broad band antenna that is improves a narrow bandwidth problem of microstrip antenna and it will be able to integrate GSM, TRS band including the CDMA band. It had L-shaped feeding structure and added the U-slot it used a duplex resonance effect. Also for the improvement of profit the stack it did with the perpendicular. It seems to be good quality that design and manufactured antenna frequency bandwidth(VSWR 2:1) is 789~1086[MHz] with 297[MHz](33%). Also the E-plan and H-plan all profit 9.4[dBi] above, 3[dB] beam width was visible the quality which above $61^{\circ}$ is improved.

The current on the thin planar structure as an element of the transversely fed electromagnetically coupled(EMC) microstrip dipole array antenna is obtained by using the integral forms of the finite difference time domain(FDTD) method. This method was applied to calculating the optimum current distribution (Doplh-Tchebyscheff distribution) of each dipole element on the feed line as a function of their offset positions for the narrow main beam width and the side beam level below -20 dB. The current on each dipole substitutes for the electric and magnetic current densities on the virtual surface of the FDTD calculation to express the far field intensity, the calculation time and the computer memeory can be reduced to about 80% and 1.3 Mbyte, respectively. The calculated radiation patterns are compared to the measured values and these are in good agreement.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the shear strength of reinforced concrete beam according to beam section size and shear reinforcement ratio. A total of nine specimens were tested and designed concrete compressive strength is 24 MPa. The main variables are shear reinforcement ratio and beam section size fixed with shear span to depth ratio (a/d = 2.5), the tensile reinforcement ratio (${\rho}=0.013$) and width to depth ratio (h/b = 1.5). The test specimens were divided into three series of S1 ($225{\times}338mm$), S2 ($270{\times}405mm$) and S3 ($315{\times}473mm$), respectively. The experimental results show that all specimens represent diagonal tensile failure. For $S^*-1$ specimens (d/s=0), the shear strength decreased by 33% and 46% with increasing the beam effective depth, 26% and 33% for $S^*-2$ specimens (d/s=1.5) and 16% and 20% for $S^*-3$ specimens (d/s=2.0) respectively. As the shear reinforcement ratio increases, the decrease range in shear strength decreases. In other words, this means that as the shear reinforcement ratio increases, the size effect of concrete decreases. In the S1 series, the shear strength increased by 39% and 41% as the shear reinforcement ratio increased, 54% and 76% in the S2 series and 66% and 100% in the S3 series, respectively. As the effective depth of beam increases, the increase range of shear strength increases. This means that the effect of shear reinforcement increases as the beam effective depth increases. As a result of comparing experimental values with theoretical values by standard equation and proposed equation, the ratio by Zsutty and Bazant's equation is 1.30 ~ 1.36 and the ratio by KBC1 and KBC2 is 1.55~.163, respectively. Therefore, Zsutty and Bazant's proposed equation is more likely to reflect the experimental data. The current standard for shear reinforcement ratio (i.e., $S_{max}=d/2$) is expected to be somewhat relaxed because the ratio of experimental values to theoretical values was found to be 1.01 ~ 1.44 for most specimens.
A microwave Navigational Aid system is suggested suitable for fishing boats too small to be equipped with Radar or Radio-Direction-Finder. The system proposed here is similar to that of Talking-Beacon developed in Japan, but the distinctive modification proposed is that an increase of sixteen times in peak transmitting power, thus an accompanying increase of coverage, is achieved with the same mean transmitting power as that of Japan without sacrificing the clearness of azimuth information, by adopting a pulse repetition modulation instead of pulse width modulation as in Japan system. An experimental land station transmitter of transmitting frequency of 9, 370MHz and of peak power of 35kw with a microwave beam of 1 degree in horizontal width and 7 degrees in vertical width rotating once every three minutes, and also an experimental receiver of 20-dB in sensitivity and of an assumed cost of 100 dollars, operated by a 12 volts battery source are made, and the sail test results are reported showing that a bearing infromation of an accuracy of within two degrees can be obtainable every three minutes at a distance of as far as 24 miles from the transmitter if the transmitter is located as high as 100 meters above sea-level.
The ultrasonic transient fields and B-mode images of a point target which were simulated for a medical ultrasonic probe with a few defective piezo-elements were compared with those for a normal probe. The present study considered a 3.5 MHz linear array probe whose acoustic beam was formed by the 64 active elements of total 192 elements. The results showed that the maximum amplitude and -3 dB width of the acoustic fields by main-lobes decreased linearly as the defective element number increased from one to four. However, the depths of foci remained almost unchanged, and the pressure differences between main-lobes and side-lobes tended to decrease due to rise in pressures in side-lobes. Such changes in ultrasonic fields affected the B-mode images of point targets. So the artifacts were formed in the right and left side of the target, and the lateral spatial resolutions were decreased while the axial resolution was almost the same.

In order to obtain wide-beam characteristics and variable resonant frequency of a ultrasonic transducer for the array source, an electrode of transverse mode piezoelectric vibrator is divided, and an electronic inductance is connected to the divided electrodes. The electronic inductance is made by GIC (General Impedance Converter) circuit. Because the GIC circuit is made of OP-Amps and other passive elements, the value of the inductance can be selected easily. As the results, the electronic inductance is variable in the range from 0.2 mH to 1.2 mH. Using the inductance, the resonance frequency of the transducer can be changed in the range from 73 kHz to 86 kHz. In the directivity of the transducer, it is confirmed that the beam width of the transducer is wider than $80^{\circ}$ at -3 dB in water.

In this paper, we designed, fabricated and tested an UHF band cylindrical dipole array antenna. In the proposed antenna, cylindrical dipoles were vertically arranged in four stages. A parallel structure feeding circuit was installed inside the cylindrical dipole and mounted so as to be broadband matching. The feeding circuit was installed at the center of the cylindrical dipole to optimize the gain flatness characteristic of the azimuth direction omnidirectional radiation pattern. Minimizing the difference between the signals branched from the feeding circuit and realizing the symmetry of the radiation pattern. The required specifications are more than 11.2% bandwidth in UHF band, above 6dBi antenna gain, standing wave ratio of 2:1 or less, less than ${\pm}1dB$ gain flatness in azimuth radiation pattern, more than 13 degrees in elevation radiation pattern of 3dB beamwidth. We confirmed the possibility of implementation through M&S and verified the result of M&S through production and testing. The test results are 11.2% bandwidth in the UHF band, 6.30 to 8.31 dBi gain, 1.53:1 standing wave ratio or less, within ${\pm}0.2dB$ gain flatness in the azimuth radiation pattern, elevation radiation pattern of 3dB beam width was 15.62 to 15.84 degrees. The test result meets all requirements specifications.

There are many researches to increase bandwidth of the microstrip patch antenna for wireless LAN. In spite of broad bandwidth, Bow-Tie antenna has disadvantages that are low gain and big size. In this paper, stacked Bow-Tie microstrip patch antenna for wireless LAN is designed in 5.725 ~5.825 GHz band. This antenna has characteristics that are broadband bandwidth, high gain and small size compared with microstrip patch antenna. In simulated results, the return loss is -34.2 dB at 5.78 GHz and bandwidth is 11.345% for VSWR 2:1 and 7.75%for VSWR 1.5:1. In measured results, the return loss is -38.45 dB at 5.78 GHz and bandwidth is 13% for VSWR 2:1 and 5.6% for VSWR 1.5:1. It has 73.16$^{\circ}$ -3dB beam width and 6.5dB gain.
In this paper, Stack structure patch antenna has been designed and fabricated for wireless LAN applications. The patch and ground plane were used by PEC metal. It was 0.05 [mm] thick. In order to broaden the bandwidth of the antenna and improve of gain, the stack structured antenna with probe feed. The measured input return loss showed less than -10 [dB] at the broadband from 5100 to 6140 [MHz]. It's measured bandwidth was 1040 MHz. The gain of antenna in the E-plane and H-plane was 13 dBi and 3 dB beam width was $40^{\circ}$.
