  • VOD Service, which has established a solid foothold as a profit model of digital broadcasting companies, is emerging as a key application of the N-screen technologies and services. In the circumstance, broadcasting companies are trying to promoting their VOD services by providing mobile services for improving the VOD service usability. The paper introduces a VOD mobile app (of a domestic digital cable broadcasting), which includes the functions of promoting the VOD programs and events printed on a VOD guide book, directly transmitting the information (e.g., book-marking and remote-control signals) to a set-top box, and watching the video contents stored in the mobile device on TV.

  • In this thesis, it suggests large scale interactive display system which is able to various touch interaction and bases on infrared LED BAR and using 3D. Interaction layer formed on space from screen which is able to feel 3D using suggested IR LED BAR. It gets the image in real time what is composed in interaction section using infrared camera with band pass filter. The image finds touch interaction coordinate through image processing module and saves as packet. It send packet to server through network data communication. It analyze packet by metaphor analysis module and save as metaphor event and send it to contents. On contents, it practices to metaphor event result in real time so it makes use touch interaction in stereopsis. According to this process, it does not need touch the screen at firsthand but it is possible system and touch interaction so touch interaction is possible while use 3D.

  • We design a small-area, low-power, and high-speed EEPROM for touch screen controller IC. As a small-area EEPROM design, a SSTC (side-wall selective transistor) cell is proposed, and high-voltage switching circuits repeated in the EEPROM core circuit are optimized. A digital data-bus sensing amplifier circuit is proposed as a low-power technology. For high speed, the distributed data-bus scheme is applied, and the driving voltage for both the EEPROM cell and the high-voltage switching circuits uses VDDP (=3.3V) which is higher than the logic voltage, VDD (=1.8V), using a dual power supply. The layout size of the designed 128-KBit EEPROMIP is $662.31{\mu}m{\times}1314.89{\mu}m$.

  • This study is focused on the analysis of road extracting accuracy from the high resolution IKONOS satellite image data. A geometric correction of the image is performed using the RFM and interpretation with the screen digitizing is also performed for extracting the roads information. For the evaluation of road extracting accuracy, the road locations and the road widths are compared with the national digital map. The comparison results shows that the road boundary and the size of road width are able to extract with the geometric accuracy of $\pm$3.4m and $\pm$1.1m.

  • In this study, an augmented reality(AR)-based information management system for agricultural facility is proposed. Using a variety of sensed data transmitted by Lora-based wireless networks deployed at the agricultural facility, this system is capable of augmenting the sensed data and displaying them on the user's smartphone screen to provide visualized information to user. When users point their smartphone camera to the agricultural facility, the environment information collected from numerous sensors installed at the facility would be visualized and appear on the screen. Unlike traditional system which requires user to search a specific facility and then select sensor(s) to obtain the environment information, the proposed system shows the information on smartphone screen by augmenting it with real image captured by camera without doing a series of time-taking selection process. Since the way of acquiring information is through image or video, this system contributes to convenient monitoring and efficient management for agricultural facility.

  • The advent of various smart devices like smart phones and tablets has triggered the changes in information systems of medical centers. Especially, diversifying devices of clients and the need for N-Screen services increase necessities for sharing effectively information in medical centers. However, developing and managing clients for each OS like iOS and Android cost high and make it hard to provide seamless service through multi devices. Also, in the aspect of security it is necessary to share information between clients and health information systems. In this paper, we develop a smart health information client based real-time health information sharing framework. The developed client is based on hybrid app, that enables to share information in real time between N devices through health information sharing framework and to adopted to developments of various clients.

  • In this paper, we propose a GPU-based interactive and plausible visualization method for the silt and landslide simulation results computed with SPH. By empirical experiments, we verify that our GPU-accelerated screen space mesh method can be effectively used for visualizing the landslide disaster simulation. The method proposed in this paper make it possible to overcome the limitation of previous simulations where the experience obtained by trials and errors plays the most important roles. Because the realtime visualization enables interactive observation of simulation results and efficient data assimilation, the accuracy of the simulation can be significantly improved in an efficient way.

  • Due to the high digital technology, various devices such as TV, PC, smartphone, and pad computer are connected to each other using internet and under the circumstance internet services of which the running platforms are mainly PC become "N-screenlized" by extending their service platform to non-PC devices. As a digital TV has outstanding features of being the most influential device in the living room and having the wide spectrum of users, several internet services has been ported on the digital TV platform (in the form of data services) in order to enhance their brand powers. Most of the services, however, failed to get a satisfactory results as the data services are defeated by the broadcasting contents in the competition for the viewer's interests. In the paper, the design guidelines that make data services not to compete with the broadcasting contents are proposed and a prototype of a data service that accommodates the guidelines is introduced. The prototype, called "TV ideal-type world-cup", does not disturb a viewer's watching broadcast contents and channel-changing behavior while it is running and its service flow is designed for a viewer to achieve the goal of service in a few minutes so that the viewer can enjoy the service in a commercial period.

  • This study : An analysis of position accuracy of topography according to using LiDAR data, aerial photo and digital map for a study area was conducted. The study area was selected in Hadan area, Sahagu, Busan aerial LiDAR data and aerial photo in the scales of 1:20,000, which are high tech surveying ways were used. The final digital orthoimage according to orientation process for each image and image resampling was producted. Using it, a checkpoint was chosen, information about the checkpoints selected was extracted, a coordinate of Horizontal Position through the screen digitizing was also extracted. Both the coordinates of LiDAR data and aerial photo using digital map in the scales of 1:20,000 announced to the public from NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) were gradually compared and analyzed. Based on the digital map, as a result of being both compared and analyzed, it has shown to us that horizontal position of aerial photo is more accurate than that of aerial LiDAR surveying (RMSE-building x:24cm, y:26cm).
