In this paper, we propose the robotic arm control method based on upper extremity electromyogram for lower upper extremity amputation patient. The muscle activity of the forearm flexor, forearm extensor and biceps was analyzed to utilize distribution of muscle activity to a specific position in order to the control input. This control input is converted into a control command for controlling the robotic arm through the algorithm. For the experiment and verify the proposed method, 5DoF robotic arm control system was constructed with 1 channel EMG Module and PC applications through the interworking with each module to perform a three-channel EMG analysis. For accuracy and performance evaluation of control, Experiments were performed with robotic arms moving objects. As a result of experiments which after training for 10 hours by middle 20's man, Validity of the proposed method was evaluated based an average accuracy of 92.5%.

Shigella is one of the most prevalent pathogens for the diarrhoeal diseases in the developing countries. One hundered and six strains of shigella were isolated from January 1980 to August 1981 at the dept. of clinical pathology, Han Yang Medical Center. Subgroups of these strains were identified as one strain of S. dysenteriae, 98 strains of S. flexneri and 7 strains of S. sonnei. None of S. boydii was observed. Sex ratio, male to female was 48 to 58. Age distribution disclosed 6 cases under one year, 11 cases one to under 2 years and 21 cases(19.8%) two to under 3 years. Subtotal of 0 to 9 years showed 64 cases(60.4%). Susceptibility for antibiotics of these strains revealed dibekacin 100%, sisomicin 100%, amikacin 98.1%, cefazolin 97.2%, tobramycin 97.1%, gentamicin 95.2%, colistin 93.0%, minocycline 89.6%, kanamycin 83.0%, carbenicillin 18.9%, streptomycin 18.9%, tmp-smz 8.6%, ampicillin 2.8% and chloramphenicol 1.9%. Patterns of resistance to sulfa, streptomycin, chloramphenical and tetracycline have already started at the early part of 1960 decade. Although ampicillin was highly sensitive to shigella at the end of 1960 to the early part of 1970 decade, this study has disclosed high resistance to the strains. New antibiotics such as amikacin, cefazolin, dibekacin, gentamicin, and tobramycin have revealed highly sensitive to these strains, however, multiresistance for those antibiotics will be shown to be prevalent in this country within several years, where it is probably related to the unrestricted sale and use of antibiotics in man.

Cerebral venous sinus thrombosisis an uncommon entity and its clinical presentations are highly variable. We present the case of superior sagittal sinus thrombosis. Although it was medical refractory, successfully treated with mechanical thrombectomy using the Solitaire FR device. A 27-year-old man who presented with venous infarction accompanied by petechial hemorrhage secondary to the superior sagittal sinus (SSS) thrombosis. Due to rapid deterioration despite of anticoagulation therapy, the patient was taken for endovascular treatment. We deployed the Solitaire FR device ($4{\times}20mm$) in the anterior portion of the thrombosed SSS, and it was left for ten minutes before the retraction. Thus, we removed a small amount of thrombus. But the sinus remained occluded. We therefore performed the thrombectomy using the same methods using the Solitaire FR ($6{\times}20mm$). Thus, we were successful in removing larger clots. Our case highlights not only that the mechanical thrombectomy using the Solitaire FR is effective in achieving revascularization both rapidly and efficiently available, but also that it might be another option in patients with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis who concurrently had rapid clinical deterioration with devastating consequences.

The existing DLC system functionally has two defects. One is it has to be controlled by operators whenever customer's portion of loads are increased more than predefined objected load. Therefore, it may be possible for propagating uncontrolled loads if operators make a mistake. The other one is that currently used DLC algorithm is usually focused on ON/OFF load control not concerning about reliving participated customer's inconvenience. Therefore, that is a major obstacle to attract customer participating in demand response program. This paper represents direct load control system using active database. By using active database, DLC system can control customer's load effectively without intervening of operator. And by using dynamic programming based on the order of priority for DLC algorithm, it is possible to maximize participating customer's satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to find out the important factors and efficient strategies concerning Internet marketing. This study contributes to the effect on shopping behavior of Internet consumer applying technology acceptance model(TAM) in the Internet fashion merchandise shopping environment. The areas of study interest are, the perceived hedonic values, the perceived usefulness, the perceived ease of use, attitude toward using in Internet shopping mall and purchase intention of the fashion merchandise. To fulfill this objectives, a survey was conducted from May 20 to June 20 in 2007, and an subject of study is the college students and business man aged from 20s to 30s in purchase experience of the fashion merchandise to Internet shopping malls. Data collected over the Internet, and analyzed the 217 subjects. The empirical studies were summarized as follows. First, the perceived hedonic values, the perceived usefulness, and the perceived ease of use had an effect on attitude toward using in Internet fashion shopping mall. Second, the perceived hedonic values had an effect on the perceived usefulness in Internet fashion shopping mall. Third, the perceived ease of use had an effect on the perceived usefulness in Internet fashion shopping mall. Forth, the attitude toward using had an effect on intention of repurchase in Internet fashion shopping mall.

This paper describes liquidity evaluation on the horizontal branch pipe connected to a food waste disposer and performance of five disposers marketed. Experimental apparatus for analyzing the five disposers has been introduced to measure vibration, sound level and power consumption of the disposers. Simulator for analyzing the required water velocity to avoid waste jam inside the pipe connected to a food waste disposer has been designed and constructed. The simulator can control some experimental parameters: pipe slope, disposer supply water quantity, food waste materials and operation time of a disposer. Throughout the experimental measurements of the disposers marketed, it is found that the time need to crash food waste is about 20 seconds on the average. At the same flow condition, increase rate of internal water velocity is accelerated as the pipe slope increases. The water velocity inside the pipe having 50 A and slope of 1/50 is 0.26 m/s when the water flowrate to supply the disposer is 16 l pm. Considering the specific gravity and adhesion property of food waste, water velocity of the horizontal branch pipe connected to a food waste disposer need to excess 0.26 m/s at least to avoid the waste blockage inside the pipe.

The Chinese poems written by Je-Ma Yi may be categorized into two different facets: one is about a broad spectrum of a man's feelings covering from delight to sorrow; and the other is about self-caution. He has been known to be a warrior having strong self-respect and a man of tough personality reluctant to compromise with others. As a result of analyzing his poems, however, it was confirmed that he was an ordinary person who got along with his neighborhood, took a pleasure in appreciating natural beauty and wandered around in agonies of pain. The literary features reflected in his self-caution poems are compatible with his own philosophical thought. Through these poems, he revealed his autonomous perception of life, and its ultimate goal was placed on the fulfillment of moral obligation, the highest value that a man should achieve as an individual. Je-Ma Yi's Chinese poems are in full harmony with the general tendency shown in the area of poetic literature during the late Yi dynasty. As pointed out above, particular qualities are represented in his poems, and thereby, from comparative perspectives with his unique literariness, future research activities should be directed to a well-defined study on other contemporary writers.

This paper introduces the world's first programmable video-processing platform for the enhancement of the video quality of the 8K(7680x4320) UHD(Ultra High Definition) TV operating up to 60 frames per second. In order to support required computing capacity and memory bandwidth, the proposed platform implemented several key features such as symmetric multi-cluster architecture for parallel data processing, a ring-data path between the clusters for data pipelining and hardware accelerators for computing filter operations. The proposed platform based on RP(Reconfigurable Processor) processes video quality enhancement algorithms and handles effectively new UHD broadcasting standards and display panels.

This research would be the first step toward in the long processes of proton technology industrial cluster development by focusing on the region's readiness and acceptability of the proton technology project. As is shown in our questionnaire survey, the top priorities needed to consider for the Proton Technology project are found to be job creation (mean 3.74), regional economic development (mean 3.72), industry infrastructure(3.54), institution for science and education(3.53), economic inequalities(3.33), tourism industry revitalization(3.20). For public servants top priorities in order found to be regional economic development, job creation, industry infrastructure, institution for science and education, economic inequalities, tourism industry revitalization. Universities' priorities in order found to be job creation, regional economic development, institution for science and education, industry infrastructure, economic inequalities, tourism industry revitalization. The mean reliability score for the each party was found to be mayor((3.04), citizens(2.99), province(2.97), private corporation(2.96), and universities((2.93). Of particular note, the mean score except the mayor were all below median (3.00). province(3.24), city council member(3.20), public employees (3.09), private corporation(3.03), nonprofit organization (2.97), mass media (2.96), citizens(2.96), and universities(2.89). The universities and colleges also should revise their strategic plans and thus restructure their internal academic programs, and must develop their own collaborative programs with Proton Engineering Frontier Project, related industries, city, and other government units. Not only educating, training, and providing top-notched man powers to the proton technology industries will be one of their primary missions.

To assess the effect of LED lights on marine microalgae growth in the laboatory, Tetraselmis suecica, Chaetoceros simplex and Isochrysis galbana were cultured under $20{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, Walne's medium and aeration using 3.6 L glass vessels. The LED light sources were Blue, Red, Blue+Red, CoolWhite and WarmWhite. The experiments were conducted three times. The density of microalgae was shown as the counted number of cells per day, and the specific growth rate was calculated by using the density. The statistical analysis was performed by analysis of variance using the SPSS 20.0 program. T. suecica culture was the highest density under the Blue LED light source, so the light source was the most effective for the growth of this alga. C. simplex and I. galbana culture had the highest density under the Blue+Red LED light source, therefore this light source was the most effective for the growth of these algae. The result of analysis of variance showed significant between groups.
